I truly love the customer service at the store NOT THE HAIR SALON.Read the reviews (Due to some of the reviews are written by employees) & don’t waste your time making an appointment.Cancel last minute by Colette Kradin, the most senior hairstylist.The reason for cancellation wasn’t for an emergency. It’s because Colette decided to change last minute. UNPROFESSIONAL!Ulta Salon didn’t even offer to give me priority to reschedule my appointment. Due to it’s the hairstylist fault for canceling last minute.The hair salon needs to work on customer service.
Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! One stop shop, every makeup brand from Mac to Elf, hair products and brands from A-Z. Literally all you need for beauty in one place. Staff is AMAZING! Friendly and very helpful. If you haven’t been here... GO!

I had a heavy shopping bag and they had no problem placing it behind the checkout counter while I shopped. They made sure I was getting the help I needed without feeling hounded.
Worst customer experience. Just imagine dealing with rude cashiers to shop here, it ruins your whole day. Im even planning to cancel my ultra rewards card after this experience. They are not even a discount shop for that experience. My experience can be best described as Walmart service for Nodrstrom price
The store manager was giving me a hard time trying to return my online items. The items were new and unused it was just a duplicate online order that was sent without my free gift. It was towards the end of the sales day and she didn’t want to accept my return because she would miss her sales goal for the day. I had my receipt and my card I paid with. She refused. She kept offering store credit or an exchange. The next day I went to the Ulta near Southcenter and they took my return with no issues. I spent money I would’ve at Factoria because they were kind and helpful. Every time I go to the Ulta in factoria I have issues. Broken pallets, rude workers, the list goes on. Don’t waste your time here. I suggest ANY OTHER store.
Ulta beauty has a good selection of products. Its in the Factoria mall, so there is enough free parking.They have testers for almost all products, and so you can try anything on your own and figure out what looks best.I dont think the people there know what works best based on ones skin type. They will just give you information based on whats written on the package/bottle. So if you want to buy a new product, research before hand and then try it out there yourself.Also, they have a very good return policy. So in case you dont like what you bought, you can return it easily. (Obviously it should only be used once)
Lots of options and variety of the brands to choose from! The woman who returned my items and checked me out was so sweet. I was wondering where to get a haircut and she suggested the salon they had at the back of the store.I went back there to schedule and the woman at the front counter went to go check with the stylists to see if they had time today.The stylist very loudly said “where were you two hours ago?!” And it just made me feel bad because two hours ago I was with my baby, I’m a stay at home mom and the only time I have for myself is really random as my husband has random hours sometimes.So maybe your employees don’t need to speak so loudly and arrogantly next time and consider other people have lives too.
I love this store. Its never too busy so the sales associates are always there if you need them or have a question but theyre not breathing down your neck and harassing you. If you want to try something or see something on they are very helpfull and quick to be of service.
Tynarani helped me and she was amazing! She knew exactly what I needed, and as someone who knows what their talking about, I was impressed!
Kat has been doing my eyebrows for about two years and she makes them perfect every time. I can’t say how much I love my brows because of her! She’s the best.

I have NEVER had so many issues with one store ever. Attempted to do a pick up in store, nope! They took the money off my gift card, got to the store no items, there is some known issue with the website Called customer service 3 transfers and 68 minutes later and gave up. Spoke withe Stephanie at the store who finally listened to what happened and asked me the same question I asked online customer service why was there an error with your c/c if you were paying with an Ulta gift card? So, a transaction that started at 11 am is bleeding over into tomorrow. On a positive note, Gina the manager did follow up at 5 pm to let me know she has escalated the issue and will continue to follow up, which thankfully relieves me of having to try and get my money refunded for product I never received.Thank-you to the associate Stephanie that finally listened to the problem and to Gina for her follow up.Buying beauty products should not be this difficult or frustrating.To be continued....
I was just in today with my cousin looking for a specific Revolution Beauty London palette. We searched the store but couldn’t find it. I asked the lovely associate Eric who went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me to help locate the palette. It turns out they were all in the back and I waited patiently while Eric searched for it. He ended up finding it and I really didn’t want his help to go unappreciated! Thanks so much again for everything Eric!!

As a guy who visited the store, it seems like Ulta carries practically everything to the point where it feels overwhelming! The store is well lit which is great if you are trying out makeup products. They also provide salon services in store if you want it though appointment is recommended. The store front is easy to spot and theres ample parking all around the store/mall.

Staff is very willing to go out of their way for you to make sure you get what you need. Staff are a bit over baring and I like to casually browse. Theyll tend to push their most expensive products.
Scotty (I hope I am spelling his name correctly!) listened so carefully to my needs today and asked really great questions to understand what look I was going for with his makeup application/recommendations. It is the best experience Ive ever had at Ulta and with a mua associate! I also had my brows done by Kat, who is a master at the perfect cleanup!! Together, and separately, they 100% made my day. 😭 I will absolutely be coming back for Kats brows and Scotties expertise. Thank you so much Factoria Ulta team!!
Made an appointment at the salon for a haircut and style with Colette. I’ve never loved short hair so much!! She really did me a solid on giving me a new look that frames my face well and just looks super cute! And then I got a mini facial from Stephanie and she was super helpful with giving me advice on what products would be best for my skin type. I was very pleased when I left the store! I always get great service at this location. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful and the manager clearly gives a damn. Im happier to come here than other beauty stores in the Bellevue area.
Went in to ask for a recommendation for a anti-frizz serum that is lightweight and not expensive. She immediately got snotty on me and said they do not carry drug store quality items which is stupid to say because its not true. So I clarified and said I meant Im not looking for your most expensive product. She continued to explain to me they only carry salon quality products while talking down to me. Never going there again.
Probably the most helpful staff at any Ulta Ive been in. They took the time to help me find the correct concealer for my skin tone. Helped me realize i was using something wrong for my undertone and skin type! 3 different people took the time to give their honest opinions about certain brands and not just sell me things i didnt need. They tested it out on my skin as well so i could see what it would look like and gave me great tips! The gentleman at the salon also took time to help me find a very specific shampoo i needed for my daughter. Walked me over to where it was instead of just pointing me in the right direction. Keep up the amazing work you guys!
I got a microdermabrasion from Stephanie. Shes very knowledgeable and so friendly. I usually get temporary redness from these treatments at other salons but its the first time I didnt! She knows what shes doing.
I came in with an absolute hair disaster. My hair was bleached wrong and it just looked dreadful. The bottom portion was white with blonde, the top was gold, it wasnt pretty! My guy Emilio in the salon got me into his schedule right then and there. Made everything right within an hour and a half. He is the sweetest person and made recommendations to care for my hair afterwards. Hes been doing hair for 12 YEARS and knows what hes doing. If you have ethnic hair, please come see him, especially my Latina women! This man is my lifesaver. You will not leave his chair disappointed. I will only trust him with my hair moving forward.

Really great experience at this Ulta...mostly managers doing. Had a bad bottle of mascara, clearly a defective bottle, that the scraper piece just popped right off of and stuck up in the lid. They happily swapped it out for new one of same brand/type and were really cool and sweet about it when I asked as I wasnt sure what policy was.I will say one gal up front was super sweet, not overbearing, and really crossed all its if you know what I mean...while the other was a little off putting. Declared their return policy was 90 days after a) Id already explained it was an exchange request, not return and b) had mentioned another employee (who I later learned was the manager) had approved the exchange...this made me feel really uncomfortable and icky for about 2 mins. Luckily, the other gal was my actual cashier and re-inforced that it was totally okay and a defective item is a different story altogether. I really appreciated that :)All in all, great job ladies! Thank you!

Very unhappy with my blowout experience today. There wasn’t much effort put into it and the hair looked “okay”. I’ve had plenty of blowouts and It always feels/looks so good that I don’t feel like washing my hair for days, but not today. Very disappointed since I am going on a trip tomorrow.
This is my favorite Ulta store. Everyone I have encountered here have been really nice and helpful. I get my eyebrows done at the brow bar (they do a great job) and my hair done at the salon with Maggie (who is amazing).
The assistants are useless. I asked for a sulfate-free shampoo and the chicks at the salon recommended a Redkin product (surprise surprise, the company that stocks the salon with all its products) that WASNT IN STOCK, and no other product would/could they point me to. So they literally offered me NOTHING! The store gets a 2 though because, lo and behold, they actually had a huge selection of sulfate-free shampoos in stock, and i was able to find one in my own... but obviously it didnt come recommended by the staff....
Ulta was low on inventory; items werent on shelves, where there were sales signs dislpayed, the items werent stocked from flat irons to eyeliners. Frustrating. Shopping online wouldve been better. Employees didnt seem to know the products or when theyd be restocked. Less than satisfactory experience.
Today, this worker with short orange hair was so rude. I was looking for the Florence clean magic face wash and I asked her if she had any in the back and she replied “ok I’m helping someone but I will check after” I’m a rude way. After 15 minutes I was still waiting and the she came up to me saying “do you still need that” and I said “yes, I’m in a hurry”. And then she proceeded to go and talk to someone else so I walked out.
Kat is great!!!! She did an awesome job on my brows. Highly reccomend!
The store doesnt always have what I need in stock, but the salon is pretty great. I booked with Star online the morning of. I did have to wait an extra 15 minutes past my booking time, but it was worth the wait. To be honest, she was the only one there, with the phone ringing and no one else able to answer (so she isnt totally at fault). The cut was more than half my hair, and it was probably the fastest cut Ive ever had. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she even styled it like the picture. I will definitely return for her service.

The staff at this store were super helpful recommending products to me! I popped in looking for something to help with puffy eyes after spring allergies flared up, and not only did they help me find the perfect product, they also sent me home with a sample of eye cream that I am now totally hooked on. I went in yesterday for a few new things and the gal that helped me spent a lot of time with me making sure I had the products I needed and color matched me and Im very fair so not an easy task.The Factoria location is not close to my house but Ill make the drive since the staff is really helpful and product selection is great.
I dont shop here often, but the employee was knowledgeable, and very helpful. She directed me to exactly what I needed and helped me stay in my price range and answered all of my questions.

The staff is always very helpful. There is a young lady with green hair (used to be blue, then platinum, and some other colors over the past few years) that remembers me and takes the time to assist me when ever she can.

I don’t know what it is about this location but their customer service is hands down the absolute worst! I have never had such a horrible experience at any store as I did at this Ulta, they are rude condescending, hostile, liars and all around unpleasant. Then to make matters worse I call their customer service line and the woman I spoke to tells me that they lied to me and she’d have their district manager call me and that was 5 days ago and still no phone call. Needless to say I will no longer be shopping at Ulta, any of them.

I called them to book an hair appointment and the person asked me for my addressWhen I told them I would not like to share that as I dont feel that was nessesary.. he kept on insisting and told that is a requirement to book any appointment. I dont understand why should I share all my personal information for a hair appointment. I ended up cancelling my appointment and this guy was didnt budge. I will never visit that place again!! Poor customer service. I would give zero star if possible
Went to ULTA salon,Factoria for a haircut...it was my first visit and was a bit nervous to get my long hair cut short...Maggie did a wonderful job .I got a hairstyle that looked exactly the way I wanted.Highly recommend Maggie for haircuts.

Orange shopping bag colored my lululemon sleeves, now my clothes are destroyed, because ulta cannot afford a good quality bags or use paper bags . Now they not gonna pay for my dry cleaning, I don’t know if it’s gonna work. Bad store. Can’t believe it my favorite shirt is damaged. Never come to their store again.
So i visit the store with my friend today and we were looking for a hair products and we tried one of the mini size hair spray and one of the staff was keep looking at us but didn’t said anything so we just take the product we are gonna buy and we were just going to pay but the same staff came and told us ohh you guys used almost the whole product you must buy it she was so rude and she waited until we pay but while we were trying the product she didn’t said anything to us and didn’t warn us that it was not a tester so i felt really humiliated and angry especially after she told us buy she waited in the counter to see the purchases that was so rude and i think this store really poor at customer services.

I had the worst possible experience with Chelsea, at the Factoria location. Turns out she is the so called manager yet Chelsea posses zero customer service skills! She rudely interrupted me before I had a chance to state my purpose of business, was argumentative and has a very bad attitude! I have been an Utla customer for years in various states throughout the US and have NEVER encounter this level of unprofessionalism.The personnel at the Issaquah location are by far more professional and practice excellent customer service skills so even though it is less convenient for me to use that location I will just to avoid another horrible encounter with Chelsea at the Factoria location. Hopefully they will get her into a customer service basics course before someone else has to encounter her level of unprofessionalism.

Had my hair cut with Erin a few months ago and she totally ruined my short hair. Asked for layers and got a chunk taken out of the back of it that looks like how a kid cuts Barbie hair. Never go to her, she doesnt listen to what you want and it feels like your wasting her time when your in her chair
