Smart, professional, transparent, and patient.Took in my laptop with broken hardware and they called me 2 hours later saying it was fixed. When I get there to pick it up, they tell me that they were able to fix the issue during the free diagnostic so they dont charge me a penny for the repair. Work with these people if you have the chance.
Once again, City Mac solved a computer problem today. It required a tech to open up the computer and he did so even though the day was late. Instead of paying either $30-50 or $600+ as suggested last Friday, this was a quick internal fix without charge. This place has been so helpful over the past 5 years with my Mac computer issues.
I thank CityMac and their employees, especially Dave, Sam, and Caleb for their outstanding services toward my laptop purchase. From the first time I walked into the store I felt like I was their only customer. My experience could not have been more positive, if I could give more stars, I would. I brought in my exhausted, tired, and old 2009 iMac desktop that had just died. Sam was able to get it to boot up and thats when I decided to purchase a laptop, which I had been wanting to do for nearly a year. Daves customer service went beyond just doing his job. Me, being a senior citizen, at no time did I feel patronized - he was unbelievably patient with my questions and concerns. In fact, when my new laptop wasn’t cooperating downloading the MSOffice Suite, Dave didn’t hesitate to come to the rescue when I came back the next day and the day after that - he didnt quit until he found the problem. I am 100% satisfied with CityMac and all these fine and personable gentlemen! Thanks fellas - you can be sure Ill recommend my friends to CityMac. Keep up the good work! 😊

Wait times to dropoff or pickup equipment are horrible. Took weeks to perform a free diagnostic on our Mac. No response to several inquiry emails regarding status.After finally recovering the data on the drive asked if we wanted it. Saying I would bring in a 1TB drive, was told it was $150.00 to transfer the files onto my portable drive.Yeah, no.
Absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced.I visited their Bellingham location on 7/26/21 after “trading-in” an old iPhone for “Store Credit”.I was trying to use the gift card they issued me to purchase an Apple TV 4K however, I was informed that they would no longer be honoring their own store credit and there was nothing anyone in the store could do for me. So essentially I’m out the money I could have gotten for my trade-in. I would strongly advise you to do yourself a favor and take your money to Best Buy and save yourself the headache of dealing with the customer service at City Mac in Bellingham.
I was very pleased and appreciative of the professional attention and advice I received from David MCGarvay at CityMac. David was most helpful in helping my wife and I make a decision as to what iPhone would best meet our needs as well as helping us understand the best deal available to us. And, David was sincere in his offer to help us with any issue we might have with our phone in the future. Also, David helped solve a problem I was having with my computer and showed me the process to use if that problem arose again in the future. My wife and I are both impressed with the service David offered us and we will be back to purchase more Apple products at CityMac because of Davids enthusiastic approach to his customers.
I went to City Mac with several issues with two of my Apple devices. Sam, in the service department spent close to one hour fixing all my problems. He was patient, kind and was sensitive to the fact that I didnt have a clue what I was doing. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand and he wrote everything down for me. I am so thankful that I met Sam today. I recommend City Mac to anyone with technical issues.

I stopped by CityMac because my power adapter had been getting warm when charging. I was able to briefly talk to the service department and it suggested that a new adapter might fix the problem. I bought one and it worked! Its nice to be able to troubleshoot a problem and not get charged an arm and a leg to do that.I recommend just going in for a visit rather than calling.They are very accommodating and helpful and was told you didnt usually need an appointment to bring in your device to have it looked at. Also, I accidentally left my phone there and they kept it safe until I returned. Thank You so much! It is refreshing to be a first time customer, and have my issue resolved quickly and efficiently.I will be back, and recommend CityMac for everything Apple 🍎
Service for me was Negative STAR. I live local to CityMac my iPhone X screen had recall, they verified bad and also verified approval to R&R screen as told me to come back 3-4 hours. I show up they not do anything with iPhone now saying not approved and handed back phone as took service sticker off back. I said at check-in I will not release to them until they verified for repair approval (they said approved) as my iPhone lifeline, as have heart condition. Wrong person to do that to as called Apple direct as I am an Apple Developer. My friends will know I blacklisted CityMac for repairs. Apple arranged a R&R at another location to replace bad screen that touch screen random works without touch (membrane delamination between glass) NOTE: No email that they stop repair as could picked up without waiting hours for nothing as verified email and phone number at check-in but said you have my phone so number no good for contact..
City Mac was a great experience. Dave was a charismatic employee with a reassuring disposition. I felt like he had a knack for reading peoples emotions & dissolving conflict. He was knowledgeable about my problem, explained the step by step process of fixing it, and was forward & realistic about the risk of potential data loss. Answered all my questions. Really makes an unsure & upsetting situation a lot better when you feel cared for & understood!
These people are great! I’m not tech savvy and couldn’t find something I was looking for. The fellow that helped me was able to locate and take care of the issue I was having. Highly recommend!!!
Not a fan. You’re better off making the trip to the Apple location in Lynnwood or Seattle for better customer service, better technicians, and better pricing. When Apple can send my laptop directly to their facility, fix it, and have it back on my doorstep for less time and less money, there’s no reason to go here.
I want to say thank you so much to Alex and Caleb of CityMac in Bellingham! Exceptional customer service across the board! They were able to run diagnostics on my Apple MacBook Pro in a minutes and answer all of my Mac related questions in a timely manner. Fortunately for me, they ran diagnostics and we realized that the only issue was I was not using an Apple brand cord in order to charge my laptop (I was able to buy two as I wanted on site). Regardless, I highly recommend CityMac!Kudos to Alex and Caleb. I will be returning for all of my Apple MacBook repair needs!
Ive alway had great service at CityMac but yesterday was over the top just plain old awesome customer service. First off Sam, needs a raise. That guy is a plethora of knowledge and his ability to talk with you and make sense of your situation was amazing. I was in for almost two hours waiting on Apple to give them the go ahead to fix my phone and so I watched them interact with about 20-25 other customers in that time. Both the service center and main sales station were ON POINT. As a business owner I cant say enough how important it is to have employees who truly represent you in the best possible light in all situations. I was privy to the most distraught patron Ive ever seen in there and the gentlemen in the KC football hat and mask (we wont fault him for liking a sub par team : )) dealt with that customer so professionally I was about to lose it on this patron. He was a stoic pillar of truth and light. Bless him. Again, always been great but yesterday was another level of excellence in service. Thanks guys!

CityMac has the best customer service ever! I’ve gone there a few times in the past few months to get help with my iPad (it locked up; wouldn’t reset, etc.) and the staff have always been incredibly helpful. Today the staff member who helped me, Toby, was amazing and friendly, even though he had just finished helping a rather difficult person before me. He was unfailingly polite with her, and went above and beyond to help her—as he did with me. Great place, great staff!

I had the pleasure of being helped by Allegra as soon as I walked in the door. (I’m a welder and I’m always wearing rags) She helped me navigate through what kind of laptop I needed for my business and an IPad. I’m indecisive on big purchases and generally people lose their patience with me. (Or assume I have no money based off my appearances) I’m pretty straight to the point and I always shop around for a better deal. Knowing this, she offered to place the laptop on hold for me during the Christmas rush which really impressed me. While working with Allegra, David helped me navigate through fixing my 2009 IMac. I left and did my homework and came back the following day and again Allegra had everything ready to go and also helped me through another 45min round of new questions I had, during which time David jumped into help with my onslaught of needs as well. The people at this store work together very well and you are their priority. You don’t wait around in this store to be helped even with multiple customers present. Employees are what make a business, and when I make a big purchase I’m always concerned with the price, yet more important is the customer care and knowing if I have any issues, these are the people I will be dealing with in person and I know I’m in good hands. I will always come back to City Mac solely based off the Preformance of these two individuals. Well played.
I went in to get a screen protector and case for my new iPhone SE, and before I even asked, the sales guy offered to install if for me at no charge. They let me try out a few different cases on my phone, and I was done within a few minutes. They offer the best customer service! I would highly recommend them!
I was very pleased with the young man named Austin. He was very gracious and interested in my concerns. He was assisted for a bit by a man who I would take to be the manager, but he alone was thoughtful and serious about what was wrong with my unit. He was very kind and polite at all times as well as knowledgeable about the phone workings. I was very pleased with the entire encounter with him.

Girlfriend called and emailed and messaged them and got no response. So she just walked in and they didnt even have much going on so not really sure why they couldnt answer the phone.But regardless, They were better than BestBuy by a long shot. Didnt charge her to run a diagnosis because she did it herself. Told her the total cost of fixing her mac would be close to the same as just buying a new one and advised to not fix it which I really was happy they said that. Didnt charge her since they didnt fix anything. Good service minus unable to contact them.

Went to upgrade my iPhone, expecting to wait the standard 2 + hours, but was pleasantly surprised. I was in and out in under an hour which included downloading time - and I had A LOT of photos. Austin answered all my questions, and put me at ease. I have never had a phone service/purchase go so smoothly. Thank you.
I came with my macbook pro and its broken screen. The maintenance department advised me to get another computer because it would not be worth fixing so I headed over to the sales department. I explained the situation, that I need my computer to last two more weeks for finals and I have a secondary monitor but I need to be able to log in to my computer and use it on my second monitor but still needed access to my keyboard. So this salesperson goes to the back, grabs a second monitor, mouse and keyboard and hdmi cable and a charger and sets up a station right there at the sales desk, and fixes my computer just by switching it to mirroring. I had driven to Seattle the day before and they fed me some BS story about how I cant fix it and have to pay them 800+dollars for repairs and this guy fixed it in like 5 minutes. I will need a new one eventually but he was able to fix it and help me make it through finals without a primary screen. I wish I got his name specifically but everyone I talked to was really helpful! I will definitely go here again for repairs and/or purchasing a new laptop.
Easy drop off for a warranty battery replacement; I was lucky I was first in line. Quick and easy pick up at the front desk of the spotlessly cleaned and fixed up laptop. Appreciated the phone call reminder when the work was done, too. My husband says that if there were seven stars we should give them to you. Thanks!

This place is a joke. I have left multiple messages, emails, and texts with no return attempt. I had my Airpods repaired in Portland then the store closed due to COVID. I have been in attempt for months to get them. They asked for my address to ship them to me and shipped them to a wrong address. I only found out over a month later they had shipped them even though I had asked for confirmation being sent. Now that they are in the wrong they are avoiding me at all costs. I used to think this was a great company. No longer will recommend or use this company. I will also be contacting Apple about their shady business practices in hopes that Apple will not allow them to screw anyone else.
Repairs were quick, easy, and pleasant. Staff was great- knew their stuff. I got my laptop’s screen replaced the day after I brought it in! They let me pick up a day after the repair was complete with no additional cost or hassle. Would recommend for anyone that wants repairs done well.
I want to highly recommend CityMac. Yesterday was my first visit and it was wonderful. I was greeted by Kenton and within a few minutes, he was able to help me with my concerns in language I could clearly understand. I was pleased with the excellent service.All my questions were answered clearly and it made my selection easy to make. I upgraded my desktop, iPad, and iPhone as well as my Verizon plan. I’m also looking forward to talking advantage of the classes offered at this location. The only downside was that not everything was in stock but the salesperson managed this as well and made it easy for me to pick up at a location close to me. Good job.

I came into CityMac to get my Apple Watch fixed. My daughter locked me out of my watch while it was in airplane mode and I could not figure out how to get it unlocked, despite my searches on google. A lovely gentleman named Sean was so helpful and did a factory reset on my watch then helped me restore it, so I left with my watch back to normal. He was so nice and helpful and didn’t make me feel like I was incompetent. If I could give 10 stars I would!! I highly recommend going to CityMac for any and all apple product questions, concerns and ask for Sean!

Im giving CityMac a three mainly based on customer service. I took my iPhone in for a new battery, I had an appointment already made to drop it off. When I went in to drop it off at the scheduled time the guy at the service desk said one second hes outside as a greeting. I figured this meant the customer service rep I needed to talk to was outside. A few moments later a guy with his kids walks up to the desk and the worker starts helping him. I waited 10 minutes until he was done and told the worker I already had an appointment to drop my phone off for a battery change.When I came back to pick up my phone a different rep was behind the desk. He didnt say hello, look up, or anything. I stood there for another minute and then then said hey Im here to pick up my phone.. The guy then went and got it for me.Not the worst experience of my life, and I understand that maybe someone with strong technical skills doesnt have strong customer service skills....but pretty sure you should be able to say hello how can I help you if a customer walks up.Im satisfied with the service that was performed on my phone, but CityMac is lacking in customer service skills which honestly sucks.

The young woman behind the service counter was abrupt and somewhat rude in the manner she asked “How can I help you?” She got nicer as our interaction continued but it was definitely a poor start.The young sales woman was pleasant and helpful from the start.
After holding my MBP for a week, I received notice that they would not service my computer because a third party battery was installed. They then misdiagnosed the issue as a failed logic board. After replacing the logic board myself, the issue was not resolved. I Then replaced the battery and resolved the issue myself. A $100-$200 repair ended up costing me over $600.
I came in to get my 6S fixed because I was in a rush - I figured I could come back later and upgrade. Karissa upgraded me and got all my apps on my new phone in less than 45 minutes. I have bought three MacBooks over the years and each time it was so easy!! Fantastic service!!

I went to pick up my phone after repair. Unfortunately, the phone had to be sent to Apple. Karissa (CityMac representative) was very helpful. Not only did she provide me a loaner phone that was closer to technical requirements to my phone, she also gave me a case for the loaner. She was very friendly and understanding.
Oksana and her colleagues were so helpful and knowledgeable. I felt very secure they were doing everything perfectly and I loved that they told me everything they did so I felt included in the process. Great team!

Dropped off my phone a week and a half ago no one answers the phones so you have to leave a voice mail then they recommend texting them instead and the last two texts I have sent have got completely ignored. Also the phone techs don’t ask proper questions they gave me a loaner phone and assumed it was Verizon which ended up frying my SIM card the sprint store told me and I had to get a new one. Very very very low intelligence here when it actually comes to apple products. It seems these guys just don’t care and hire anyone. I tried them about a year ago in the past and it was the same service.
I’m sure they’re good if you can get them to call you back. I even tried to email and text them without response.
Claudia was amazing today!! She helped me restore my new phone from my iCloud which I’d been having trouble with and which was causing me serious distress. She was a great listener and super helpful. Thank you!

Superb sales staff (kudos to Jason, tech guy extraordinaire!), great tutorials (again Jason), over-the-top customer service (Karissa is the very best!). Over the past 12 years, I think Ive purchased 5 computers, 5 or 6 phones, numerous peripherals, and an Apple Watch. Never a problem that they could not resolve quickly. Great people to do business with. Ill be back.

I came in for a visit to get my phone looked at. My phone had a disabled screen with the message, “IPhone is disabled” and they were able to fix it with no problems! Claudia and Karissa were more than great when it came to accomplishing this. I, without a doubt, recommend anyone who is experiencing difficulties with apple products to go to City Mac!
Claudia at CityMac was thorough and very proactive. She found an issue that was blocking my phone from receiving cellular data that Verizon Customer Service had not been able to solve. She spent an hour troubleshooting and working with Verizon online and through the call center. She supported me by answering the same questions they asked me to verify what was going on. She was patient and pleasant. My phone is now restored. I am greatly appreciative of her expertise and help.

My experiences at City Mac have always been positive. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I have been a faithful Apple customer for about 14 years so I know they carry a quality product. If I did, they would be who I would consult about any issues.They offer both group and private classes to help you better understand your Apple purchases. I would highly recommend them.They also offer Verizon which I have found to be the better option for cellular service as we often travel to remote areas.
The technicians did an excellent job performing the repair which I requested. They were able to complete the repair and test my computer a day earlier than their preliminary estimate.
Karissa was awesome. Truly! She helped me get back some stuff that had disappeared in a flash. Im really grateful for her help (and smile!).

City Mac is the best! Always such awesome service. They know the products they are selling and are honest about what they sale. No pressure -no hassle. Rarely lines but I’d there are they are worth the wait or come back another time and you’ll get right in. The service center is SO good they are quick, efficient, and effective. Again honest about what’s wrong and help you find the easiest cheapest options!
I went in to get an adapter for my iPhone and ended up talking to Karissa about the new models. I am very used to sticking with what I’m used to, but Karissa was very helpful and informative about the iPhone XS, specifically the improved camera. I am hoping to get that model when my phone is up for an upgrade. Karissa was friendly, I didn’t have to wait long to get help finding what I needed, and I left knowing more about what I want from a phone. Quality service from city Mac.

My husband and I switched mobile carriers and got new iPhone 11 Pros. My phone wouldn’t download a software update and the tech at the phone store couldn’t figure it out. We went to CityMac and met Caleb. He was able to quickly understand my problem and get the phone going again. He was so patient as the phone updated, slowly, and he answered every one of my questions. The whole process took close to an hour and he stuck through it all with me. My sells person was informative and showed me exactly what I wanted to see. I was lucky to receive a discount, due to my employment at a university, but very disappointed that Apple didn’t offer a discount to Active Military or Veterans. I find hard to understand why Apple an American Company, Is not offering a discount to the men and women of this country who have fought, are fighting, or will fight so a company like this could exist.

I worked with Claudia and she was very professional. I asked lots of questions and she was helpful and knowledgeable. Anything she wasn’t able to answer was answered by another associate. Everyone at the store was very friendly and I recommend this store.

Husband took a Macbook Pro in for a warranty screen replacement for the coating delamination issue. They replaced it with a screen that didnt even work. Weve both called, left texts, voicemails etc... They never answer or reply. In comms with the owner on facebook, the only explanation about the phones is Sorry, were just so busy, no explanation about why they dont return voicemails or texts. Anyways, we ended up taking our computer to the Apple Store in Lynnwood. They shipped it off and had it back in our hands 5 days later. All that had to be replaced was the screen (the same thing that CityMac supposedly replaced). I have no doubts that they probably put a broken screen on and fully intended on having us come back in to charge us for something else. This is based off the owners comment to us directly via FB chat that, sounds like something else is going on with the computer. We made sure Apple Customer Support was fully aware of the issue with City Macs hardware support and Customer support issue with never answering the phones. I fully recommend anybody having the same issue, just call Apple Customer Care and make the same complaint. The fact that this place doesnt answer the phone, nor return customers phone calls alone should be reason enough for them not to be servicing Apple products as a certified Apple service center.
Excellent customer service. Caleb assisted me on purchasing my new MacBook Pro, and made sure I got everything I was looking for in a computer. Would recommend this store to anyone, especially for the awesome customer service from Caleb!
Dropped off my keyboard that has keys that were sticking. Gave them the serial #, they looked me up and took the keyboard. It was back early the next week. Super quick and easy!

My phone was stolen worked with me to be sure I had done “find phone” and locked the phone properly. Very helpful and friendly. Also helped me be sure I had unlocked properly when I got it back

They never answer the phone, nor the texts that they say they’ll respond to. I’ve even called their store number while standing in the store. It doesn’t even ring.Took my MacBook here for an Apple warranty screen replacement. Asked if they wanted the charging cord when I dropped it off and they said no. Asked if they’d call me when it was ready. They said yes. Picked it up 4 days later after I saw an email from the day after I dropped it off. No phone call. When I picked it up computer was dead. Asked if they op checked the screen bc it was currently dead. They said yes. I get home and low and behold the computer screen doesn’t even light up. Computer sounds work and keyboard lights up.Basically they turned a scratched/delaminated but functioning laptop screen into a completely inop computer.Can’t wait to go back there and deal with these mouth breathers bc they sure as heck don’t answer the phone.
Love this place and everyone who works there. On my visit today Phil helped me with access problems I was having and provided me with a great solution. And.. he installed my new screen protector!!
