Love it here! My daughters’s wedding vendor was cancelled last minute and the employee was a wonderful help to me. He helped me reach many ingredients and find everything under a time crunch. The meal turned out delicious and you could taste the quality. I will never shop anywhere but earthfare from this day on.

I was pleasantly surprised at the prepared foods. I had the pork, collards, and also bought a rotisserie chicken and fresh-made guacamole from the deli case. Everything was fresh, delicious, nicely seasoned, not loaded with salt like lots of places do. The chicken fell off the bone, not dry and chewy like lots of rotisserie. The guacamole was perfectly flavored, although the packaging was messy, it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Whoever does the cooking knows what they’re doing, although the food looked a little sad, but it was Saturday afternoon and probably had been prepared earlier. I’m glad I didn’t let that put me off. They said they were short-staffed today. Gotta give credit to folks coming to work now, and give businesses a break coming out of Covid. We stopped by to put together a picnic to take hiking. Excellent selection throughout the store, including lots of vegan options, too. Will definitely return!

I try to always stop by Earth Fare whenever I am in Boone. As a frequent Whole Foods shopper, I can say that Earth Fare is extremely similar in terms of product offerings and prices. I like visiting this Earth Fare because it is much more serene and quiet in atmosphere—whereas Whole Foods stores can oftentimes feel a bit busy and chaotic. A must visit for anyone into organic grocery options!

Overpriced. If youre a chef, awesome, if youre rich, awesome, but, if youre living on a budget? And youre on EBT? Well, avoid the salad bar all together! Why? theyll expect you to pay in cash or on credit for, yes, ladies & gentlemen, on a *COLD BAR* item! Theres expensive fun snacks and drinks, sure, maybe even BOGO deals every once and a blue moon, but, more than likely youre in a long line, and Theres one cashier, two if youre lucky, but, never the maximum. You would think with all the college students within walking distance it wouldnt be an issue. I will slightly redeem them with one thing, however, Thai Curry Mock Chicken Salad.. yes, Vegan, and youll be wishing you had bought more. The problem? I have been shopping here for over ten years and have found it only ONCE! The regular chicken salad is done also in the Thai Curry style, though? What gives? Why cant the one product Im absolutely *IN LOVE* with stay on the shelves consistently?

I usually have good service at the Boone Earthfare. Yesterday, I was looking for chicken scolapini which I have bought from the deli on numerous occasions. When I asked the clerk if it was available, she said that she had never heard of it and proceeded to tell me that I really didn’t know what I was talking about. She is NOTa good representative of Earthfare. Rude and condescending.

We always hit up Earth Fare when we stay in Boone. It has a Whole Foods vibe. Lots of organic, gluten free, vegan, food choices. They have a health food section with supplements, homeopathic remedies and more. Beautiful floral bouquets too. I purchased a really beautiful African reusable hand basket from here as well.

Greatest Earth Fare of all time! Every Staff member that works here is kind and knows polite manners! The staff at the food market are very helpful and generous. They allowed me to get 2 Yummy Vegetarian Food items in 1 Container. Leaving this Earth Fare I feel bad for dropping a cheese sample and not being able to find it to trash it, but as I turn around one of the staff saw it and trashed it for me. I have many great things to say about this place, for sure will go back again!

The service here was so bad I wanted to share my experience. This was my second experience in an Earthfare and I am coming from out of town looking for healthy options. For starters, my partner and I were never greeted at the door nor at the register both times. The customer service was SO BAD that both the cashier with the manager Lisa rang up our groceries and made NO eye contact or even greeted us. That type of energy in a place like this, gave toxic vibes and made us feel extremely overwhelmed, unwelcome, and uncomfortable to say the least. The staff both times bombarded my partner and I asking us to take there masks when we both had our faces covered with scarves over our masks. We kindly shared and showed our masks and the lady just stood there for 10 secs looking at us like “ uhhhh that’s not good enough” then she said ok and walked away. Then we saw some of the staff follow us all around the store. This is a terrible experience and I plan on not returning ANYTIME SOON. Lisa the manager bagged our groceries and never said have a good day or take care and after done bagging our groceries leaned against the cashier and folded her hands as we said goodbye and walked away. This makes me think this is why all the Earthfares probably went out of business. My truth note to this earth fare is,please kindly work on your customer service and let people have the right to choose there choices whether you agree with them or not. We are all working on being safe so have some faith.

This business used to be a pleasant small town grocery store I could walk into, be greeted and have a great shopping experience. Since closing and reopening its like earthfare forgot what being a grocery store in a small town means. When you walk in the door the college kids meant to greet you are hunched over the grocery carts with a look of absolute boredom on their faces. They force out a welcome to earthfare and dont make eye contact with you. As you browse the store not a single employee, management or not, will greet, speak or offer assistance aside from one out spoken kid at the meat counter and to top of off when approaching the cash registers to check out the employees are often on their phones or conversing amongst themselves completely ignoring you. This is not a grocery store experience, it feels like walking into a college dorm room. The management of this place is a joke and needs to be replaced.

This is a decent shopping venue with a vast suite of natural and organic products. Food at the deli is fresh and flavorful. Groceries also tend to be good quality, albeit overpriced. Ive found much better local options for my natural/organic groceries when it comes to quality vs. price, so I dont find myself frequenting Earth Fare much anymore. They do have some decent sales on wine and beer from time to time, so I would recommend that you check them out for their adult beverage selection. If prices werent so unjustifiably steep, Id recommend this venue a bit more.

So upset that Earthfare is closing. This was a wonderful place to buy good food and we could trust it too. We are devastated here in Boone that we won’t have a healthy grocery store here now. I love it and am so grateful it is here. Friendly ambience, top grade produce and products, a wide variety of herbs and supplements. The eatery happily reminds me of Berkeley, actually the ambience reminds me of wonderful Berkeley. Being like Berkeley is a very high recommendation, and Earth Fare meets it. I love eating there, and am confident in the quality of the delicious foods. People working there and shopping there seem to usually be more health conscious, and Earth Fare promotes this, as well as community building and consciousness. THANK YOU EARTH FARE!!!

This store for the last few months has been steadily declining. I went in this morning, the shelves are full of missing stock, no roasted chicken, the kombucha case was nearly empty, the employees seem stressed, I smiled and nodded to a couple of them and both just ignored me. prices are increasing, I bought a three pk. of crisps and they were not cooked. $5.98 down the drain. last week I had to throw away 4 nectarines, they were mealy and pithy. Manager under customer service for thanksgiving “met their quota” on thanksgiving dinners so no alternative no thinking outside the box and just total rudeness and she spoke for MANDY the store manager that we are out of luck on thanksgiving and also HUNG UP after pointing out that my call was now after 10pm...NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS HOW RUDE and UNKIND and disrespectful this woman was to my sincerest request asking if there was anything any suggestion - SO MANDY if l were the store manager, this would be the LAST person l would EVER HIRE OR ALLOW TO INTERACT WITH A CUSTOMER. Do you know I would like to reserve a Thanksgiving meal at EF but lately the service in the hot food department has been terrible!!Yesterday was chicken pot pie day and they were out of them by 5:30 PM. Seriously how many did they make, 4? How many working people do you know can get to the store before 5:30? Asked if they were making more and clerk said he didnt think so. So I opted for the soup only to find out there was barely 2 servings left. Everything on the hot bar was scorched from sitting under the lamps for who knows how long. This has also happened twice with the roasted chicken night special. We used to get the dinner and 2 sides special with the bbq chicken but every time we went it was almost undercooked and rubbery. We would take it home a cook longer. Its is a disappointing that the quality of ingredients going into this food is far better than nearby competitors, that much of it must be discarded due to lack of freshness, and that the business is losing money when they dont have items that are advertised. When there were no pot pies and no soup yesterday, I just parked my buggy with all of its contents and walked out without purchasing anything. I chose to go to another store and get my items. This needs some serious attention by the management.

Once even doubled a chicken charge of 43$ because it was placed in two packages and just had a sticker on one because it was weighed together. .. The cashiers are friendly, but the managment team are not and the people working at the deli counter seem pretty inept. I wish we had more options. I wouldnt shop here if there were a Trader Joes.
