After multiple horrible experiences with Toyota/Lexus dealers, I finally found a Toyota dealer that was interested in my business.Tyler Huseman did a good job keeping up with my emails. Inventory sucked, but same with all the Puget Sound dealers I checked. I really wanted the tried and reliable V8 instead of the unknown brand new incoming V6 twin turbo reliability. The mpg savings will likely be negated by the premium gas required by the twin turbos.Crew cab ginormous. My 6’ tall buddy probably had 4-5” leg room and 3-4” head room.The chip and supply shortage is real. It will probably get worse before it gets better. Given the insane value of used cars, they were fair. $51k for a 4 yr old Chev Tahoe. They have it listed for $60,900! I basically got a ‘21 Tundra Crew Limited Trail edition as an even swap. I couldn’t easily sell it since I live on an island with HORRIBLE ferry access.Most miles I’ve ever seen on a “new” vehicle! 250 miles! WTHeck?!!I’ve walked away when from previous deals when the finance guy started the hard sell. They weren’t too bad. They knew I had a ferry to catch, and they were helpful expediting things.
If you want a stress-free/hassle-free experience, Toyota Foothills is one of the best place I have ever purchased a car from! To the friendly service, to the clean and organize environment, I had no problem enjoying my time there to get approved and drive off in my 2015 Hyundai Sonata!Shout out to Kai for setting me up and Kirk Spencer for getting me into my car!
Foothills Toyota was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, especially Alex our salesman. Alex helped us on his days off and after we bought the car with additional questions. We were also able to get the car we wanted in about a week vs the 3-6m timeline Bellingham gave us. Kyle in finance was also super friendly and extremely helpful. Would 100% recommend anyone in Bellingham drive the extra 20 min to this dealership. We also got to bring our puppy into the office while we signed paperwork and everyone loved him (so extra points for that).
Foothills has an excellent reputation for being fair and honest with their customers. It is well deserved. I’ve been a customer for decades. Their employees seem genuinely happy and friendly. The showroom is big, open and exceptionally clean. I always leave the lot feeling great about the entire process and vehicle I just purchased.

Stacey made this one of the most pleasant car buying experiences my wife and I have EVER had. We met her at the dealership and she had the vehicle all ready for our test drive. When we came back we went inside and she answered all of our questions and helped us make the right decisions for our purchase. Kyle in finance was really helpful getting us a fantastic rate and let us know about all of our options as well. Once we had the keys in hand Stacey got in the car with us and helped give us a lesson on all the technology the car offered that we werent even aware of. From start to finish, this was an awesome experience. Jasmine was timely and respectful in her contact with us and her emails were welcoming and informative. When we met in person, we noted all staff respected COVID protocols, which we appreciated. The buying process was seamless and from start to finish including the test drive was under two and a half hours. The sales person and finance person both explained what options were available but were not at all pushy in trying to get us to take advantage of them. It was a very pleasant experience. I may drive back there for service even though its nearly 2 hours away!

I just bought my 2nd Toyota from Foothills. When I looked online their listing prices for what I wanted were on the higher side than many other dealers so initially I didn’t contact them. But, because they are the closest dealer to me I threw caution to the wind. Phil DuBois was the sales guy who helped us. The car I wanted in the color combination I like is fairly rare. That didn’t stop Phil. He was on it in minutes and found what I wanted! We were able to negotiate a price that worked for both of us and I was in the dealership the next day driving my car home. The finance guy(can’t remember his name) was pretty awesome too. He saved us even more $ with his eagle eye on the figures. Thank you everyone! It was hard leaving my 1st Highlander behind after all the memories of raising my kids in it but the new one is fabulous!

Everyone was friendly, professional and made my appointment pleasant and efficient.
We bought a certified car that we love but promises were made that were NOT kept. They had our trade in and our money so we are no longer important to them. They gave us only one key but promised us the other key the next day. The person who does the keys was on vacation so we were told she would take care of it the next day and we could get out key. Now they are saying it will take a week because they previous owner is mailing it to them. We told them we needed the key as soon as possible. We were ok waiting a couple of days but not a week. The previous owner has his trade in and nothing to lose, Toyota has our trade in and money so they no longer care. Now, we must wait so they can save a little money, and not make the key. I am more upset about them promising to have the keys for us and continuously making excuses. They should have the keys available today, as promised! We dealt with a person who no longer works there in the past and he would have made sure we had the keys. So disappointed he is no longer there.
First time buyer here ...my sales man was Ed mayfield and boy was he amazing. Never once was pushy (you know like all the other dealerships) Never once felt pressured. He worked hard to get the best deal. He answered all my questions. Overall a great experience buying my first car. I definitely am going back to get my husband a new truck. Nice people, but a wash and vacuum doesnt mean what you think. We took our car in for a wash and vacuum for its first service and they did not vacuum the whole car, only the driver side and thats barely vacuumed it. Washing it literally took a minute to wash the car so Im assuming they pressure washed it and didnt give it a proper wash. The coffee machine is good though.
Everyone I met at Foothills Toyota was genuine. Not that fake-y used car salesman vibe. People were flexible and kind. Still of course tried to sell me things I didn’t want but backed off quickly if I said no. Overall it’s been very pleasant.

Update from one star to three stars. The customer service department did well at handling the situation. As far as the response to my review. I had to contact y’all a month after I traded it in to inform you that it hadn’t been paid off, then it still took almost two weeks before y’all sent another check to the bank.Sales staff and financing people are good. The issue I have is it has been about two months since we traded in our car and they are just now paying it off. The only reason they are paying it now is my bank dinged me for a late car payment. So I checked the account and sure enough it wasn’t payed off. I called the bank they said they hadn’t received anything from them. So I have had to make two car payments on a car I don’t have. The salesman is the only person who will return my calls and messages. I am trying to buy a house and this is keeping me from closing. If you value your credit score you might want to try somewhere else. Before you get hit with a car payment for a car you don’t have anymore.
Appeared like a nice dealership until it came time to discuss numbers then all of a sudden they became very pushy and had a sudden change of attitude. I was just trying to get a rough estimate on numbers before we went over there and they were very pushy on me coming in in person. Once I did they only wanted to show me one certain vehicle. I asked about other models and other colors but nope. Felt rushed and not a good experience at all. I have heard good things about this place but my experience was anything but good.

I am generous in giving a two star. I purchased a vehicle in 2014 and it was an outstanding transaction. Recently however my husband and I were looking at test driving a specific truck that was advertised on sale during Labor Day. After driving to the dealership, we were told that the BOSS has taken it home. I would think if you are advertising something, it should be readily available. With the current situation of things, who wants a vehicle that has been driven home day after day. I would now consider this a used vehicle. I will gladly take my business somewhere else.
I am 70 years old. The last time I bought a new vehicle was in 1998. I wasnt looking forward to visiting an auto dealership, especially during this time of Covid-19. But I am delighted with my experience and how I was treated. There was no manipulation and no games played, unlike my 1998 experience at a Dodge dealership in Oklahoma. Trina Parkhurst is the salesperson who assisted me. Absolutely a 5 star experience! She was kind, informative, helpful and all without a particle of pressure. A friend drove me to Foothills and my friend feels as I do about Trina. She personifies the best way to do business with a potential customer. Honestly, I am so impressed with her. I was able to relax shortly after my friend and I arrived at Foothills because of her. I knew I wasnt going to have to keep my guard up. I knew I could trust her and the process. I felt like I won the car dealer salesperson lottery. Lucky me! Kyle Lindsay in the finance department was also top notch. He communicated clearly and I never felt any pressure. He has integrity and I knew he was sincere and honest. At 70, I have a very strong sense of a persons character. I can tell immediately if someone is coming from a place of manipulation. I did a lot of Internet research to find a car and a dealership. Though I live in Bellingham, something inside kept telling me to go to Foothills Toyota. I am so glad I listened to my inner guidance. The dealership is clean, very attractive and well managed. Covid-19 protocols were in place, so I never had concerns about that. Though I live in Bellingham and there is a Toyota dealership here, I intend to have future maintenance on my vehicle done at Foothills. I am that impressed with you. Thank you for doing business with integrity and honesty. You are a sterling example of how honesty is always the best policy. I wish you well and I absolutely will recommend you as the place to go for anyone looking for a vehicle.

I took my car in for service and found the Service Reps very professional and courteous. The waiting area was very nice and everyone was social distancing and wearing face masks - important in these pandemic times.
We looked around for several weeks for a 4-dr Tacoma. Jasmine at Foothills was hands down the nicest and easiest to work with. The truck we wanted was in transit and arrive on the day they estimated. Definitely worth the drive from Seattle.

Service dept. responded to an immediate repair need I had in a timely manner. Bolts in the driver side window mechanism came out rendering window inoperable while it was raining. I was in and out in under 2 hrs.
I dont ever do reviews, but this place deserves it. One star is being overly generous. Please look elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle. I have purchase multiple vehicles from all different makes and models, and this dealership is counting on uninformed customers. I went to go look at a vehicle that I was interested in. Test drove and sat down to start talking. I am able to look up invoice pricing and how much the vehicle actually costs down to the options and already had quotes from other dealers for 100-200 over invoice for the same car just in a different color. Was told it would be MSRP or nothing, as inventory is low. There were over 45 of the same vehicle within a 50 mile radius, and another 60 in route to local dealerships over the next month or so. I was then told that invoice price was actually over 4,000 more than what I had found and my information was incorrect.When a salesman, and GM, are either ignorant about the vehicle being sold, or lying to you about price, which is information that can be found publicly as well as from Toyota, (FYI you can put in the VIN # and get a price break down for the invoice and each and every option for both dealer cost and retail) then you are better off giving your business to someone else. The next day they called me twice to ask how my experience was with my salesman. What a joke.Avoid this place and go 30 miles north or south. Purchased the exact same vehicle for $100 over invoice at a nearby dealer (Which has about $2,500 in profit already baked in for the dealer, not including kick backs from Toyota for meeting a certain number of vehicles sold in the month). This dealership will never get my business now, or in the future.
Made a stop here to take a look at the mid-size trucks. Not one sales person made any effort to say hello or ask if we needed help. Luckily the manager was walking by and asked if we needed help. He was very polite and helpful.

I called to discuss a used car they had for sale. Had listed a price and said going to auction so i asked if there was any flexibility in price at all to save them sending to auction by end of week. Sales person said none at all. Seems odd to send a car to auction for exactly the price they have listed at. Even if he had said there could be some movement on price and come see it and we see if we work out a deal i would go take a look. Maybe sales is not in his calling.
Keon was great! Friendly, learning the craft and helpful. I had been in the industry over 14 years so I made sure to help him through the process of what makes an easy deal. Brandon the sales manager was great as well. Wife wanted a new car so we worked together to make it happen quickly!

Great place and experience to purchase a Toyota vehicle. I worked with Trina P. in sales. She was very nice, pleasant and patient to work with, and she goes the extra mile by offering after-sales support as well. I never felt pressured at all from her or the staff. Also, up in Burlington where they’re located it’s important to note that the sales tax is only 8.5%, which will result in hundreds of dollar savings in many cases. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend.

My mother brought her 2005 4runner in for a check engine light. After checking the vehicle they determined she needed a new catalytic converter and new brakes. After installing the brakes Foothills called for her to pick up her car, thankfully the catalytic was on back order. After paying and picking up the 4Runner she drove home to Concrete and her brakes had a failure almost causing a serious accident. She called to explain what happened. The service department accused her of driving over a branch or other debris and that’s why the brakes weren’t working correctly. After arguing with them they towed it back and found that the brake calipers and rotors hadn’t been fastened properly causing them to fall apart on her way home driving 55 mph on highway 20. They still charged her full price, but mysteriously the catalytic didn’t need replaced and they reset the check engine light. Foothills likes to take advantage of 70 year old women and I would not recommend doing business with Foothills. Their shotty untrustworthy work and service is very bad form. Instead of replying to this post make it right with my mom!

Quoted my wife $350 for a new battery including labor and she just got home. Guess how much they charged her???? $505!!!!!! She was in and out in less than 40 min, so no additional work was done. Wish I would have gone with her. Oh well, wont be going back to this place for anything.
Knowledgeable service staff has me feeling welcomed and not feeling like theyre trying to take advantage. Dealer service prices arent cheap but Ive learned the hard way too many times, you pay for what you get. Ive had them replace a clutch, full tune up, and come here for my oil changes. Will keep coming back for as long as I have a Toyota.

TYLER HUSEMAN absolutely knocked it out of the park. I had massive negative equity and high miles in my Corolla SE. I swung by to test drive a Camry but ended up wanting the Black Sand Pearl 2020 Corolla XSE in the showroom. Tyler, and everyone else I encountered, were not sales people like the greasy douche bags you would expect. No grease at all. She almost wanted it more than I did. She worked with me diligently through process after process to try to make my, what seemed impossible, deal work. Not only work AT ALL but work how I wanted it to. She went as far as to make suggestions on how to utilize my credit card more effectively to bump my credit score up. It worked! My score went up to the high 600s and after working her magic, I was driving away in my brand new Corolla. Im not usually one to write reviews and I certainly never thought I would be writing a positive review about my experience at a dealership. But Tyler and the people at Foothills Toyota in Burlington have showed me that buying a car can not suck. Tyler Huseman will definitely be getting my business again, without question, if she is still doing what she does when Im ready for another car.
Great Service at Foothills Toyota Burlington Wa.Dec. 29th, 2020We had a lady named Jolene in the service department help us with servicing our vehicles, she was very professional, made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions. Great asset to any company.On December 29, 2020 my husband and I brought on our 2017 Toyota Tundra truck to have new brakes replaced and we are very pleased with the work performed on the brakes. We had also brought our 2018 Toyota Carmy for an errand car while his truck was being serviced and I had mentioned that my right drivers side tire might have a slow leak as it was going low in the cold weather. Ms. Jolene had my car tire inspected and sure enough a nail in the center of the tire. Patch was placed which saved my new tire. Been here a few times now and have always had great customer service. Not necessarily the cheapest place, but good to know repairs are done correctly on your Toyota.

I Was told after making an appointment & waiting that my oil was changed & tyres were rotated that my car needed new tyres, which is a lie they are not 3/16th if an inch like they told me. Then I find out that my tire sensor is still going off because they did rotate my tyres & sent me away with low pressure (a safety violation) after charging me $39.95 for the rotation. After i get home I check my dipstick & my oil hasnt been changed as well. Dark & burnt smelling. Scam artists that should be shutdown. This dealership cleary doesnt care about its customers!! Liars. Was charged $117.87. Was only reimbursed after threatening to call the cops. Scam.

Bought my first New car here in 2012, and ended up wanting to upgrade recently. I was extremely particular on the vehicle I was looking for. Lisa, the upgrade specialist, told me that I’d be the first to know if one came on the lot. Low and behold, three weeks later, I received an e-mail stating that one would be in that week. I was hesitant, and nervous. Thankfully, I was set up with Trina, who was so kind, and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel pressure, and she was very understanding of my situation, and needs. Foothills will always be my top choice for vehicles, and service!
The sales rep. we had, Eric Houser, was so helpful. He spent several hours with us, explaining this new cars accouterments. We had a test drive. The vehicle chosen had a list price lower than the Costco Price. Not a problem as you can guess.The finance manager at the time perpetuated the Foothills business joke that if you bought a car there they would pay for a dinner out. I knew it was a joke when we went in since one of the guys told it to me and winked. After I had written the check for the car, the finance manager came on so strong with proclaiming the truth of the statement, and because it was already 9 pm and we were hungry, I believed him. He then leaned over his desk in my direction, and boldly told me we would be paying for our own dinner. I felt humiliated. He did say he felt embarrassed.. I looked him right in the eyes and said, GOOD and left without even shaking hands.
