Jessie in the service department is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Give her a raise!
I bought my 2020 Mazda CX-5 on 2/12/21 at Dwayne Lanes Skagit Mazda. Kyle Hansen was my salesperson. He was phenomenal! My husband and I usually get apprehensive when looking for cars at dealerships, due to pushy salespeople. However, we were pleasantly surprised with Kyle. From the beginning he was transparent, knowledgeable and helpful. Never did we feel uncomfortable when deciding to buy the CX-5. Kyle made our car buying experience so much better than we ever have had in the past. Definitely will be referring friends/family to Dwayne Lanes to see Kyle! 5 star rating due to Kyle!
This team between sales and financing is incredibly comforting, honest, and beyond helpful. Buying a car is never an easy process and this team went above and beyond to make it a smooth and pleasant process! If you’re looking for a Mazda, definitely meet with this team of all stars!!
Outstanding service! Fast, courteous, and they offer clear and reasonable advice. Theyve routinely proven trustworthy, which is invaluable in a maintainer.Plus they wash off your car, which is a nice touch.
Incorrectly installed a gas tank component recall. When I informed them that I smelled gas they were initially dismissive. On my next fill up approximately 4 gallons of gas came gushing out from under my car spraying everywhere. They arranged to have my car towed and offered no compensation for potential damage to a brand new vehicle. They also argued with me that only a gallon was spilled and made every effort to cover up the incident and minimize it so as to not take responsibility. In my view, this is the very best example of how not to treat your patrons. I also missed out on half a days work, and had to deal with this dealerships mistake instead of generating income to pay bills. Breathing gas fumes for several days and once the car had been treated, I then was coughing every time I entered my vehicle because of the fumes from the chemical that was used in treatment. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN.
Being a car novice, I felt comfortable and in good hands bringing my vehicle here. The service advisor, Dani, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Her level of competency was easily shown as she was able to dummy everything down for me. I will be bringing my vehicle here again when needed!
Cannot recommend going to Dwayne Lanes Mazda more highly; the staff is earnest, patient, and courteous.Spent an entire day searching for the right SUV for my wife and I could not recommend my experience at Dwayne Lanes Mazda more. Derek, our salesman, was excellent about answering all of my questions about the technical aspects of our car and was excited to talk to my wife about the entirety of their inventory. He was very knowledgeable about the cars both on the Mazda lot and about other makes of cars nearby. He also did an excellent job of steering us toward their cars without trash talking other brands which was very much appreciated given the breadth of our search.Overall the experience was excellent and I would happy steer my friends and family toward shopping there! If a new car is in the cards, definitely stop by and see what Dwayne Lane has to offer you!
Your experience here is always personable. I have been to a couple non-Mazda dealerships in the past and it felt like the focus was all about making their quota. I never mind the longer drive to be able to work with the staff in Skagit. Props to Trevor Sheldon and the late Dana Bennett for setting the precedence of what great customer service is all about.
Great experience. Awesome service advisor, very friendly. Professional and would high likely recommend!
Bought my car new in 2016 and at 65k miles I have had every single vehicle service done by them. I drive 35 minutes out of my way to come back here every time. Every person here cares about you and treats you and your car with exceptional care. Most recent experience, I had filled out an email survey they sent me. I had stated that I assumed many people are in the middle of a work day, such as myself, and would like to stay productive while waiting in their lounge and that they should add a charging dock for cellphones and new laptops. I received a response back that they loved my idea and would work on adding that to the lounge - and that they did. I’m now at my next oil change and have a charging port of 6 different charging cables along with my complimentary coffee. The people here at Dwayne Lanes care and they listen. 10/10
Mike Painter set me up with fantastic Mazda3 that I absolutely love! Worked with me to get the car at a price I could afford, and went above and beyond in trying to make the hassle of buying a car as painless as possible. Very impressed with the friendliness and transparency of Mike and everyone else at this dealership! 10/10, would recommend.
Very disappointed with this dealership. Ive driven a Mazda for more than 15 years, but will never own/lease one again. Service Department is excellent! Sales and management needs to improve their customer service skills. After driving other vehicles, I sorry to say that Mazda needs to improve the quality of their cars and accessories. Tires do not last for 40,000 miles! And it was not due to my excessive speed and cornering as I was told. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS DEALSHIP AND MAZDA!
Picked up a 2019 CX-9 Grand Touring today from Derek Gannon at Dwayne Lane Skagit Mazda. Great experience, easy negotiating, fast paperwork, love the car. Derek is new to the business, but clearly paid attention in his training and was extremely knowledgeable about the product. Highly recommend if youre looking for a Mazda.
I went knowing what I was looking for and Michael Painter was the first face I see as I was looking at my dream ride. Fully loaded Jeep Compass. I did not have much of a poker face and he knew it too! He was very respectful with not being too pushy as you find a lot with salesman. He’s great with kids and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I figured I would be there for about 5 hours as car shopping does take forever but, I was out in 3 lol. Michael even called to check in to see how I was liking my new ride. If I were to buy another vehicle I would definitely go see him again and you should too! Cheers!Tammie
This is the best car dealership in the north state if your looking for a great deal on a new or used car or truck with no BS or a lot of pushing for a sale please drop in and shop no stress the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable we as a whole family but all our vehicles there hands down you will be pleased...
I have a Lexus that the Kelley blue book shows as a trade-in value of $48-$49,000 with a private party retail value of 55 1/2 to 56,000. The sales team, the manager and Dana once looked at my car said that their trade-in value would be in the 30s and that dealers are offering the same car at the lot for $41,000 which is absolutely a blatant lie. This is exactly an example what sleazy car salesman do and I prefer not to leave reviews like this but felt extremely offended that somebody would lie to me to my face. Im sorry that you took this route as I really wanted to give you my business since I buy a new car every 2 to 3 years but I assure you I will not be coming back to the Subaru or Mazda side of your dealership ever!Little things go along way and you showed absolutely no integrity or honest truth when dealing with me today.
Mike Painter was very helpful. We had an older trade in, and purchased a used Mazda 6 this week at Dwaynes Lanes Skagit Mazda. Mike was professional and not pushy at all... he did his best to accommodate us. Thank you for your great customer service, Mike!
Excellent, informative, easy to work with.sales and finance staff were both effecient and friendly.
Great place. I love my new car.
Michael Painter and the sales manager Chase were amazing! Michael listened to what our thoughts were and instead of wasting time and energy had us drive two vehicles that fit into what we were interested in doing. Chase went over and above to take care of our concerns. Jarred in finance took the extra time to make it deal even better working out everything with the bank so that all ar had to do was sign and drive. This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had buying a vehicle (and Ive done that a lot of times). As long as Michael is selling cars, I will be buying through him.
I have been a customer of Dwayne Lanes Skagit Mazda Sales and their Service Department for almost 7 years. Bought several new cars from them, which I also serviced and repaired at their service department on regular basis. I really value the loyalty and the positive experience I receive at this place every time. The sales people make a car sale a very personal experience. In fact, with every car I purchased from them I made a friendship, as opposed to a business deal. They dont brush you off their shoulder if you have concerns, but on the opposite, everyone treat you the way they would want to be treated. While I am very pleased with the sales, I am even happier with the service and repairs and they are another main reason I keep coming back. Everyone wants to have a reliable and worry-free car service, and I found it here. Today they fixed my car again very quickly (in 2 days) and very well. This was after another shop had my car for over a month and couldnt fix the issue caused by an accident. Wow!I have to say that I have a very special gratitude for their service department personnel. When I leave my cars here, I have no worry. The service and repairs are always done right and the price is reasonable. The manager Jon goes out of his way to save you time and money, while making you feel very valued and important. I also really appreciate the help with the warranty issues. While I understand that nothing can be perfect, the experience at this dealership has been as close to perfect as it ever gets. Thank you so much for your excellence! I hope you guys all get a raise, a promotion, and lots of time for vacations. You definitely deserve it!
I went to have my recall taken care of and have my stereo swapped out because my cd player stopped working. My info was already in their system from talking to them on the phone prior to coming. They were ready when i got there. Their shuttle took me where i wanted to go. I took care of some business and had lunch. I called for the shuttle in the shuttle came and brought me back. It was so nice they washed my car and vacuumed it. My airbag recall is completed and I love that my CD player Works in my radio again. It was awesome service beginning to end with every single solitary person I met up with that paid attention to detail and was constantly being acknowledged whenever I was standing around. Highly recommended.
Today we purchased a new 2018 Mazda CX-5 and love the vehicle and thoroughly enjoyed the experience buying it. Chad was the ideal sales consultant with his background as an auto mechanic, his passion for cars and depth of knowledge. He was genuine, not pushy, considerate, polite and personable. As in many businesses, the quality and company DNA begins at the top. We believe Chad is a reflection of Dwayne Lanes and will gladly purchase from them again as well as refer others.
Michael Painter was wonderful to work with! He was polite and professional. He made getting my first car a great experience!
Luke was amazing and made sure I left the lot with my dream car! Worked with me the last couple months until I was ready to go ahead and make the jump to buy my first car. Was a comfortable, surprisingly fast, and overall an amazing expeirence. I will always drive a Mazda, and I will always go to this dealership to get my Mazda!!!! Thank you luke!!!!!
Love my car. Satisfied with delivery, though it took a week longer than promised and communication was spotty. Most unhappy about trying to get information and scheduling for the Xzillon coating. Four unproductive phone calls and no one knew who I needed to talk with. No follow up.After-sales attention has not been good.
We bought 2 new cars and one used car from this great dealership in June 2017, loving them!!! Great dealership, I highly recommend. Cars are super fun to drive also (CX-5, 3)
I traded in my kia niro ev for a bigger Madza CX-5 Touring back in November and of course I got low balled on my trade in and it was understandable they have to make money.I thought my mazda was going to be way better than my kia niro from what the salesman told me like I could add front and rear parking sensors later if i wanted and it would be easy come to find out later I was given the wrong information and I couldnt do that because madza doesnt make rear sensor only front parking sensor for the CX-5.The disappointment doesnt end there I was told that the CX-5 touring could follow other car with cruise control come to a full stop and restart cruise control automatically turns out that was a lie. I also asked about the price of a higher trim model the CX-5 grand touring and I was told it started around 37,000 and man I was this dude wrong again. I asked all these questions before I made my decision to buy the CX-5 touring because thought I would be able to add the accessories i wanted later and that I could enjoy the the features the car came with.I was so f**king frustrated and ticked off later because I already signed all the paperwork and drove the car and I knew they wouldnt care because they already made their money.Lesson learned dont just trust a salesman word without doing your research, that is the only reason that I couldnt honestly recommend this dealership to anyone. So after speaking to another salesman about the issues I had they gave me the answer of hey just trade it in and get another car so we can help you aka let us take more of your money that definitely tells you how some dealership care about treating their customers. The only person I would give a 5 star to was Jarod in finance the dude totally made financing my car easy with no hassle.
Mike Painter is a superb Dwayne Lane Representative. He works with you to ensure your needs are reflected in the vehicle you select. If you are looking for a new or used Mazda, Mike is there to help you. Thank you, Mike.
Dana and Seth both gave us great service. Seth was decent and avoided hard-selling us on a car. Dana was very thorough and enthusiastic in explaining to us the various features of the car.
Great service and highly recommended!! Go see Clark Graham and tell him I sent you 😁
Low pressure sales. Dana is a good guy. One of the best car purchases i made.
The Mazdas sell themselves. That is the easiest place to work as a salesman right now. You get no special deal when you know and they know that your mind is made up, but they do treat you right.
We just purchased a 2010 GMC Terrain from the dealer and had a really great experience this was the car we wanted after all our research and so we went in. Dana was great and fun to work with he did not push us to settle and made sure we got the best Kelly blue book deal possible. We made it clear what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay being this is a 2nd vehicle for our business we needed to keep it fairly low in price. We shopped around and I can honestly say that they were the best price. They were sensitive to our needs and respectful of our budget. We paid below fair market price and could not be happier with our experience. So, that being said I am waiting to give them the 5 star treatment. We have a situation with the climate control it stays hot and wont turn down unless we turn off the car. Luke the general manager has made it clear that he is looking into this problem and would like to keep us from having to take it to their Arlington Chevy dealership for repair. He would like to have it done in their service department. Its getting cold our there and a heater that works properly would be great. I will keep you posted on any progress with this issue.UPDATE: 11/17/2017Dwayne Lanes Skagit Mazda has fully taken care of our climate control issue. I am happy to say I get to give them 5 stars. Thanks so much to the general mgr. Luke and Dana our sales rep for taking care of us. We will return for any future purchases to Dwayne Lanes dealers because they have kept their word. Thanks Again,
We had a great experience at Dwayne Lane. Our salesman, Michael Painter, was low key and knowledgeable, and we got a very fair deal on our new Mazda.
Monique was my sales lady and was very helpful and went with me to test drive a few different models. After that I went to the Honda and Toyota dealerships next door to look around and test drive. The customer service here is what brought me back to get my brand new 2017 Mazda CX-3! I absolutely love it! Monique was very professional but on a personal level at the same time, my roommate and I felt like we could take her out to dinner every time we came out that way. She didnt make me feel pressured about any of the decisions I made while I was there, she was genuine about helping me find the right car for me. If you come here ask for Monique to help you find your new ride! This is my first time driving with Mazda and so far I love it!
Great and helpful sales staff. Always looking to get you in the right car not just a car.
Everyone in the service department was super friendly and helpful. Excellent service!
Had a very good experience my salesman was James Lamica he was fairly new but helped me and got answers if he didnt know which I prefer than to b.s. me felt I got a fair deal on a new Mazda 6
Friendly and great customer service. Mike was a great in helping me find the right car.
Just purchased a used Subaru here the other day; Michael Painter and his team of merry men made it a great experience. Though the unavoidable used car salesman feeling was present, obviously, they make commission... it didnt at all feel oppressive. There was no excessive attempt at upselling me on something I didnt want, the conversation was a little intense but incredibly informative, while we waited on the finance info to finish he showed me how to drive stick as I had expressed an interest, the price negotiation didnt drag on uncomfortably, and though the car was new on the lot I was able to drive it off of the lot that night and schedule a detail cleaning at a future date. Whenever I get around to needing a new vehichle, Im highly likely to return to Dwayne Lanes.Edit (-3 stars): Was told a full detail was scheduled as part of the sale by Michael Painter. Went in for the appointment and apparently it was never made. Was told another appointment was made, also by Michael, went in again, it wasnt made a second time. (Each round trip for me is 80 miles, this place is pretty far north after all). If anything is promised through the service department, make sure you talk to a service department employee before leaving, dont trust the sales department to have you covered on getting this stuff scheduled. I am still happy with my purchase, value, and the initial experience so Ill leave it at 2 stars for the moment.Edit: After leaving the above review I was finally set up with appointment closer to home for a detail cleaning. This was a few months ago, I just forgot to add a star and a comment. I appreciate them finally getting this done, but the gas cost and drive time added was unacceptable. Michael had offered to pay out of pocket for my gas, but thats not his paychecks burden to bear. Also, if you run into making a similar deal, make sure you have them schedule the detail or service closer to home, I didnt know that was an option at the time of purchase... or the 2 times I went up north.
Michael found us exactly what we wanted, at a great price! We will certainly work with his team on our next car purchase.
Excellent service. Clean pleasant store and staff. I recommend it highly.
Outstanding service Luke was great to work with.
If I could give a zero star review I would. I cannot imagine getting worse service anywhere else. Took my mazda in because it was having a problem not starting after it warmed up. Couple days later I pick up the car, pay the bill and Im on my way only my car now dies when I bring it to a stop and I only barely managed to get home. So I call the dealership and have them tow it back to the shop. now a few more days pass and they say its fixed and come get it. well when I drive it off the lot its still stalling on me and not driving correctly so I take it back yet again. now a couple more days go by and I get a call from Randy the service Director who brought my character under attack saying that he believes they didnt cause this problem and Im trying to scam them for free maintenance. He then goes on to say that theres nothing more they can do unless I pay them more money and that if I dont pick up my car by 5 hes calling the police and reporting the loner car stolen. So I had to leave work early, inconvenience my crew and drive my supervisors truck back to the shop and leave him stranded at the job site because Im afraid of having the police called on me. So in the end I paid them money to make my car worse, attack my character and threaten to call the police on me. Absolutely, unbelievably terrible service. I cannot adequately express how pathetically incompetent the mechanics are at Dwayne lanes Mazda. They call it service, what a joke.
My experience has been great so far. I am enjoying my new CX-3.
Always happy to have my MX-5 serviced here. They take good care of her and they are kind and courteous to me.
The service department has been very good to me.
Great friendly experience Simple easy negotiating.
My daughter in law bought a new car here and hasnt been happier
I normally dont post my purchases but I want to share because out of my ten purchases at different dealers, no one compares and I totally recommend! I will be keeping an eye on used cars for the boys from there.. Bought the 2018 Mazda. Best dealership experience ever! Thanks to my friends for recommending Dwayne Lanes Skagit in Burlington.. It was worth the drive. Also, taxes are only 8.5%. Bonus! Luke, Chad Cavanaugh, Amy, and Jennifer were wonderful and are all folks Id want to be friends with. Honest folks, no pressuring to buy something, thorough, patient (good with my many questions), and just down to earth great people. I do not have buyers remorse! I loved the drive home. First time Ive wanted to drive 100 miles without the music On! Car was so quiet (I was alone)! I was in awe. Chad even let Nick drive the Miata for the experience after we signed papers knowing we wouldnt be buying it. He made Nicks day and got a hug. Nick is not a hugger!Boeing folks. Chad is offering a special deal to us.Ask for Chad Cavanaugh.
Good customer service 👍
I work for Toyota and bought my 2015 Mazda 3 a few years before I went to work for Toyota. I am largely brand loyal to Toyota, but once I test drove my Mazda I was sold!! The 9 Speaker Bose are un describable! and they do not even mention them in their ads.. Crazy!Trevor was my salesperson. He is still there. Very relaxed and non-pressure, yet knowledgeable and kind. He deserved and would have gotten a 100% on a survey had I not felt like I needed to give him one. I now know from working at Toyota that anything less than an A is a F... (really!!). which is not fair because it should be a learning tool, not a punishment, and it should not make great salespeople like Trevor feel that they need to push a perfect review. (I still should have done one Trevor, sorry!) You really DID deserve a 100% for all that it is worth!!!Even though I work for Toyota, I still have all of my oil changes and scheduled maintenance on my Mazda done at Dwaynes.Ryan is the Service Manager. Or at least he is the main guy that you deal with. He is professional, funny, kind, thoughtful, and understanding. (I missed an appointment and felt horrible.. he was SOOOOOO nice about it!). Didnt seemed irritated, was just understanding of the situation.I was getting my 30,000 service today (10/2) and I asked if I could talk to their G.M. or Sales Manager. I let him know that I worked for Toyota, and that these were some positive insights to improve the Industry. (Not comparing dealerships). I feel that there is a huge reality gap in the surveys and the expectations on the staff.Regardless, everytime that I come in for a oil change I usually challenge Ryan on some level. He is always patient and does his best to get the answer for me. If there are any cost, he runs it by me first and then explains the need. He is honest and never embellishes required work.Contrary to what people might think, it is actually less expensive to take your vehicle to a honest dealership like Mazda than to a place like Jiffy Lube. You can download their monthly coupons and you are getting reputable techs.Years ago I took a former vehicle to a drive thru oil change (I do not want to mention their name) as it was a sweet deal. They did not screw down my oil cap, and a month or so later my engine starting ticking.. almost ceased my engine.. (long, long story).Point is, dealerships have a lot to loose if they do not do things correctly. Plus they also have a reputation to uphold.Dwaynes will be my next choice when I am ready for a new Mazda 3,For many reasons (Trevor and Ryan) But I have got to say, those Bose speakers are the best thing out there!!! I feel like I am experiencing my own personal concert every time that I get in my sweet car!! And I am a grandma!!
Bought a car here. Upfront pricing. No games.
Bought a different car but good inventory.
Excellent customer service and very fair prices!
Good morning foodThanks
Just brought back home a new CX-5 bought this morning at Dwayne Lanes Skagit Mazda. These guys were able to give the best quote around (I live in Kirkland, WA, so I shopped everywhere, from Takoma and Puyalup in the South to Burlington in the North, with every dealership close by, like Mazda of Kirkland, University Mazda and Walkers Mazda in Renton). To make the deal even sweeter, their sales tax is 8.5% while most of places on Eastside have it around 10%. I wanted to thank Luke James, who I negotiated the sale price with over email, and Dana Bennett, who was dealing with me when I came this morning to the dealership. All the buying experience was very nice and pleasant. We came in, saw the car we talked about over email, we asked whether the dealer was interested in our trade - they made an offer, I had all the numbers already pre-calculated and knew what was the lowest price it would make sense for me to trade the car in so I just said it. There was no running back-and-forth to the big boss in the back to ask for a better deal - either it made sense for the dealer to pay that price or it didnt. So they gave us what we asked for. Then there was the paperwork - no hidden fees, no unexpected numbers in the final documents I read about in some of reviews for other dealerships (like Dougs Mazda in Edmonds, for instance). Everything went just as expected - nice and smooth, we were out in just a little over an hour after driving in with all the documents signed.P.S. While we were there, some guys came by to pick up their licence plates which were delivered for their recently bought car. They brought home made cake to the guys working in the dealership and it turned out the car they bought was already the 15th bought in the same dealership. It all felt like a big nice friendly family.
Good place to shop for a new car.
We bought a used Mazda CX-5.Some confusion at first but Michael Painter was great and so were his grandmas cookies thanks
Outstanding dealer!
I was looking at prices of cars and got a very pushy sales man but I guess that Is what there job is.
Always a pleasure.
Great dealership
