I just purchased a 2015 Ford F-350 super duty from Motorcars of Dallas and it was hands down the best truck buying experience I’ve ever had. Originally just went to “look at the truck” but ended up taking it home in under 30 minutes. Took longer to go to my bank for down payment lol. It was a straightforward deal, excellent truck, price, and service. Marcus and Justin really took care of me. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new truck to try Motorcars of Dallas first.Decided to add to the above that its been 3 years since I bought my F350 dually and I absolutely love the thing. It has been very reliable and the only maintenance has been oil changes every 5k miles and fuel filters every 10k as they suggested I do. Only bad thing is I paid for a pretty good extended warranty that apparently Ill never get to use lol (knock on wood). Ive changed it up a bit also to suit me better, it originally looked like a ranch truck and after a few personal touches its now more my style. If anyone is on the market for a diesel truck you cant go wrong with a 6.7 powerstroke, best engine ford put in these trucks period.

I gave them a 1 star rating only because you cant give a 0 star rating.First I need to say that some of the poor experience I had with this dealership was my own fault for not doing my due diligence. I am a car guy and I did not inspect this vehicle the way I normally would and obviously should have. When you are buying a super clean truck with only 50K miles on it, there cant be too much wrong with it right? Wrong.I started looking for a truck with a strict criteria of what I wanted on it. After looking for 7-8 months, I finally found one at Motorcars. Since I was several hundred miles away, I had several emails, text, and phone conversations with the salesman Casey. I finally agreed to purchase the truck, put down deposit, and made the deal via the phone. The next week I went down to get the truck. Cosmetically the vehicle looked very good. We signed the papers and I left to drive back home. About a block from the dealership I had a tire pressure light come on. got to an exit and stopped and had a low tire so I aired it up. Kind of irritating but not too big a deal right?I drove on but did not like the handling of the truck. It had a lot of front end vibration, but I did notice that the tires were basically worn out when I stopped to air up the one and figured that was the problem. 200 miles later the tire pressure sensor went off again. Stopped and same tire is low again. Now this is just BS. It was low again by the time I got home.I get home and get up the next day and go back thru the correspondence on the truck. I dont think the pics he sent of the tires are the same ones that are on the truck. I take the truck to the tire shop and buy a new set of tires. When they start changing the tires they take me in the back and show me the wheels - 2 of which are cracked and the tire company will not mount the tires. One of them is the one that is leaking air. So I have to buy a set of wheels also.I take the truck to my shop and start inspecting it close. I found that the vehicle has been wrecked in the front even though I was given a clean car fax on it. You could see where the body mount bolts were shifted on the frame and the underneath of the front end had been repainted. The front steering stabilizer was broken into 2 separate pieces (I have never seen that before) and the 2 pieces were taped back together and taped to the tracking bar so that they would not hang down I guess. The lower control arm on the left side is severely bent, the tracking bar and tie rod assembly are slightly bent. The batteries had the stickers peeled off them and some green Wal-Mart tags on them that said 10/17 trying to give the illusion the batteries were new.Cosmetically the truck is everything they said it was. Mechanically it is nothing they claimed. I can get it back to the point that it should be, but I bought and paid full retail for it under the impression that it did not need any work done on it. As of right now I am out a little over $3000 just getting the truck into a safe and dependable condition after paying full retail for it. Bottom line, they let me drive off and get on the highway in a vehicle that was unsafe to drive.I followed up with the sales rep that I used and he finally had the manager return my call. The manager wanted to see pics of what I was saying was wrong with the truck. I had taken multiple pictures on discovery of the issues. 3 weeks later after no response to the pictures I reached out to them. I was told quote “You purchased the truck as is.” Unquote. So there you go.I will say that they have a lot of clean looking vehicles on the lot, but if you are looking at a vehicle long distance with these guys, PLEASE find a local independent shop and pay them to go perform a pre-purchase inspection on it for you. It will be the best 100-150 bucks that you spend on the deal. They tried to tell me that they performed a full 131 point inspection on the truck, but I think Ray Charles would of found some of the things that were wrong with it.

I showed up at 9am when they opened. I was greeted by Marcus as I was getting out of my truck and immediately felt like we were old friends. By 1130 I had completed all my paperwork and was out the door and on my way to work in my new (to me) F350. It was a very smooth and painless process. Highly recommend these guys! I highly recommend Motor Cars of Dallas for anyone shopping around for a diesel truck. These guys did an incredible job from start to finish! They gave me a good deal on my trade in, got me financing, got me 7 years or 100K mile bumper to bumper additional warranty and I walked out with a truck that I never imagined I would own with only 22,000 miles and the interior practically brand new! All this in under 3 hours!

I had been searching for a new truck for a few weeks, monitoring CarGurus like a hawk. I spent the day going dealership to dealership checking out their inventory. My last stop of the day was at Motorcars of Dallas. I walked in at 5 pm and met Hayden. Let me back up just a bit. I actually sent an inquiry about the truck I actually purchased from him a day or two before (it had just been listed). Within about 15 minutes I got an email back from Hayden with his cell number inviting me to call or text him anytime.So after I got to the dealership Hayden already had the keys on his desk and was ready to go. We took the truck for a trip around the area and it was exactly what I wanted and needed for work. I wanted to close the deal right away but I needed the wifes OK before signing (that was not a fight I wanted to endure).The next morning I walked into the dealership, and wouldnt you know it, Hayden had the keys and was ready for another test drive. When we got back to the dealership we started the paperwork, which was a quick process on their end (not so much on my credit unions). We also brought our 1 year-old daughter with us. While we were in the showroom one of the employees came in and put cartoons on the TV without us asking. My daughter loved it. Everyone at the dealership helped keep her entertained and one of the salesmen actually had a stuffed animal he gave her. Yall... where have you actually had that great of an experience with customer service at a car dealership??? Ill wait...Oh, and another thing. The truck had only been on their lot for a couple days when I purchased it. Even after I had already signed the paperwork they pulled the truck around to the back and completed a FULL service on it. All fluids changed, everything polished and detailed... it looked brand new.I was blown-away by our experience with Motorcars of Dallas and cant wait to do business with them again. Thank you Hayden and all of your co-workers for making this such a great and memorable experience for my whole family. Yall are the best!

Met with several other dealers and private sellers before deciding to purchase my truck from Motorcars of Dallas. I dealt with Brad. He was straight forward, attentive, and found me the exact truck I have been looking for. With any car/truck purchase there is always a little bit of run-around (the reason for the 4 stars and not 5) but Brads no BS attitude and the truck made up for it. I will buy from here again.

I bought a 2016 F250 from Motorcars of Dallas a couple weeks ago and I am very happy with the experience. I waited to leave feedback until I received the plates and registration sticker in the mail figuring that would give me some time to run the truck and find any issues that may exist. So, in a couple weeks, I have driven about 600 miles and the truck has been flawless. No issues whatsoever. I received the plates and sticker today so that shows that that process was handled in a timely fashion. Marcus was the sales rep that I dealt with and he was wonderful to deal with. The people I talked to at Motorcars of Dallas were all friendly so I can only assume that the experience of buying a vehicle there would be great regardless of who you deal with. Their lot is a little off the beaten path but in my travels that is where the deals are found. I would have no hesitation buying form them again, in fact they are where I will look to first the next time i need a vehicle. Five stars or two thumbs up, however you look at it.Thanks, Barry

I had a great experience shopping at Dallas Motor Cars. Or so I thought…We were looking for a deal on a slightly used F350, and since I live in Indianapolis, Brad had to work with me via text and email to help me find the right match. We found what we thought was a better match from the original truck I was looking at, and after thoroughly evaluating the inspection report and photos, we flew down and made the purchase.All went well until we drove off the lot... literally. On the way to our hotel, not 30 minutes away, a strange squealing noise started coming from the rear end when turning. The truck also had a vibration at highway speeds that we hadnt discovered driving around town. We called Brad and they offered to look at the truck and see what the could find the next day.We took it back, and had a not-so-bad experience. We were there all day while they changed one brake, serviced the rear differential, and did a few other things, but they never found the problem. So Brad talked to the owner and gave me a verbal commitment to throw $500 at the problem when my local mechanic figured it out, since it was time for a weekend and they were about to close.All the way home the truck vibrated. It wasnt the death wobble (more on that later), but it was certainly also not just big truck stiffness. We got home and took it to my own shop.Id write out the laundry list of things my mechanic found wrong, but it would be far too long. A loose tie rod, out of alignment wheels, and an unbalanced drive shaft were just the beginning. Fixing these took care of some of the problem, but not all.Finally, we took the truck to a Ford dealer and they road-force-tested the 6 brand new tires Dallas Motorcars had put on the truck. All 6 came back as junk. Dont know if they sat too long or were stored improperly, but they needed replaced. Since I was already out almost $2,000 in repair by my local mechanic, we went for just the rear 4. Ill get the other 2 a little later.Since that time we also discovered a junk steering dampener (root of the death wobble) along with some other issues that really should have been caught. I know I was buying a 4 year old truck with higher-than-normal mileage... but the things we found were just too obvious to have been missed during the inspection that was done before we bought the truck.Since all of this Ive called Brad, called Brads boss, and texted numerous times. Id love to get all my money for the repairs, but even the $500 he committed would be nice at this point. But now all I get is sent straight to voice-mail or non-replies on my text. My mechanic also called, talked to Brad and his boss, and literally got hung up on by Brads boss and has never been able to speak to a person again.These guys have some great trucks, and our buying experience wasnt bad, but the few thousand I thought Id saved by scouring the internet for a good deal and making a long trip has long-since been lost. Ill come back and update this review if they ever get back with me and make things right, but thats my experience, and I hope it helps you with yours.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. They take your money and give you a truck that still isnt paid off. They are taking trucks from out of state as trade-ins or buying them at auction, bring them to Texas, and listing them at a low price to get you to come in and buy it quickly. They are pocketing the money they should be using to roll previous loans into the new truck payment and the tax and title paperwork. This allows them to not do the transfer paperwork and stick the new owner with a Bonded Title and then they close down the business. They can do this because they know that states cannot see each others lien holders on vehicles. I really hope the owner is as honest as he says he is and makes this right.

UPDATE: They are out of businessDO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is a total scam. I bought a car in September 2019 and have yet to receive the title. I have called every day multiple times with no answer. REPORT THEM!!! Please if you read this review do not buy from them These people do not deserve money from anyone. They are scammers. I have wasted so much time trying to get this resolved.

Excessively average car buying experience. Nothing this dealer offers that isnt typical of the used car sales cliche.Certainly have a look at the vehicles in person (I bought from out of state online) and preferably roll a creeper underneath.In my case, that would have revealed a lot of slow leaks and rust and a real cluster of an electrical wiring system.Very good at what they do, but if youre going to buy a used truck, get a deal from someone you trust and spend $200 on your own detail job instead of a few grand on their margin.

I cant express enough of how the salesman Brian was patient with me from start to finish.I initially came in for one truck, but left with another one. He didnt pressure me, he was straight forward & told me to always get what will make you happy ! Recently purchased a Ford F-250 and overall had a great experience. Marcus, who was my representative was very attentive and answered most all the questions I had. The ones he didn’t have answers for was information not readily available at the time. The management was very kind to deliver the the truck even though we had a misunderstanding about paperwork. All in all, I’m completely satisfied especially after Marcus had the shop balance one of the wheels that was causing a slight vibration before I drove back to San Antonio. Drove 4hrs to look at a vehicle in person with money in hand. Asked twice if it had been smoked in prior to driving and was assured that it hadnt. When my wife and I showed up vehicle was as pictured but smelled of cigarettes. When we mentioned it salesman said it was the carpet shampoo. But had nothing to say when I pointed out cigarette burn marks around the driver window.

Bought a 2012 Ram 3500 October 8th 2019 unseen.According to their listing every vehicle goes through 131 point inspection and every issue will be noted. Was told the truck was in great condition and nothing wrong.Truck was delivered October 10th, first thing I notice was the driver side mirror and blinker was damaged, lens for blinker was broken and missing. Mirror rattles aroundWhen the truck was cranked up it sounded like a dirt track car, had a straight pipe that ended right behind the cab with no muffler.So I had a muffler installed, no big deal.Perhaps that was to hide the loud whining in the rear differential, between 50-70 mphAnd it has only gotten worse, now I hear a lope, lope, lope when I am barely moving from the differential.. Not a wheel bearing as it stops when I let off the fuel.So now I am looking at a pretty good size repair bill for the rearend.DMC knew when I bought the truck I needed it for work (commercial truck) requires a title receipt to get commercial plates and it took 7 weeks to get the registration.Radiator was over a gallon low of coolant..Did I mention the broken seat in the truck.Between the time I bought the truck and time they delivered it, they ran a toll booth in Dallas.Guess who got the bill for that?

I recently purchased two vehicles from Clayton. First off, the process of buying a car is never pleasant but these guys make it easy. We drove a few trucks, made a decision and went in and signed. No pressure to purchase anything we were not interested in, just friendly and fast service. That was impressive enough but what happened next really put these guys on the next level in my book. I received a call from Justin a few days after our purchase, he said one of the trucks did not make its way through their pre-sale check. I asked if I could take the truck to a local Ford house to get it serviced and send them the bill, Justin said that was fine but they like to go through the vehicles they sell. A day or so later I noticed a small amount of coolant on the ground, I decided it would be better to take the truck to them to check it out. The day I brought it there, I was given a loaner to drive while they worked on my truck. As it turned out, my truck had a leaking radiator. I was in the car business some years back and I know first hand that dealerships tend to not step up after the sale. These guys stepped up! They are putting a new radiator in the truck with zero cost to me, along with that they are taking care of the oil change and safety inspection. I highly recommend these guys for your next used vehicle purchase, they will go above and beyond and customer service is actually their top priority in my opinion. Thank you Motor Cars of Dallas!! ** Update** When my wife picked up the truck Justin noticed a crack in the windshield. I bought the truck with the crack, but Justin inquired about it and when he realized we purchased it with the crack he told my wife that he will be sending a glass company out to replace it at no charge to me. I seriously never expected that, especially from a used car dealership. Good customer service is not common these days but these guys get it!!

Nice sales people, but stay away from Mortorcars of Dallas. They have yet to send me the title to my truck I bought. I keep getting excuses. Id stay away from them now. Not to be trusted at all right now.

I was extremely happy with my experience here. I walked in with full intention of negotiating down the price of a GMC Sierra that I was interested in. Bryan, treated me with great respect and sincerity that I was happy to pay the price they were asking. I visited a few dealerships that week and there were many that turned me away just because I was young. Bryan, had no hesitations with my test drive the Sierra I was looking at. I walked in around 9AM and drove out around 2PM with the truck. He hand washed the car himself, and streamlined all the paperwork. I would definitely come back here for service or another vehicle.

They will not answer their phone . I have called them at LEAST 30 times and no one has answered their main number. I have had the truck going on 2 months and still have not received my plates. Chatting on-line has been next to worthless. Steer clear of this place.

I purchased a 2015 RAM 3500 from Hayden Bailey over the weekend. We did a lot of the deal over the phone because I drove in from out of town. They offer a great extended warrenty that is hard to pass up. Also, Hayden worked with me to make sure the fifth wheel connection (and a new hitch for my camper) was installed before I came to pick it up. Hayden and the team at motorcars of Dallas did a great job to make sure the deal went through and I was happy with my purchase. In fact, when I went to leave, the backup camera messed up and I brought it to their attention. Hayden made sure the service team looked at it and replaced the camera connection (while we went to lunch) so that it was working right again when I left.

This is an amazing place inside - like a man cave - and the prices are really good. I love the Internet..... It helps you find the best mileage and best price before you ever go to the dealership.

Spent over a week working with Clayton on purchasing a truck. Had a buyer order with the final price. Had 20+% down payment. Dealer told me that they were working with a local bank for financing. I submitted multiple financial documents, as per their request. Clayton called and informed me that we had us a deal but I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $5,000 (yes, Five Thousand Dollars) because they had to run the truck through a different dealership. The only thing they did well was reinforcing the Used Car dealer stereotype. Felt very let down by such unprofessional and predatory treatment. Bough a truck elsewhere, with much better results. Stay away from these guys!

Live in Tucson, AZ and saw the BMW I wanted on the website. Was concerned living 1,000 miles away that the car would not be as advertised. Flew in to Dallas and Terry picked me up. He worked with me from the beginning when I purchased the car sight unseen. He was friendly, professional and the car was ready to go when I got there. Car was exactly as advertised!!Drove the car back to Tucson without a single problem. Would highly recommend Motorcars of Dallas to anyone based on my personal experience.

Bought a 2008 Jaguar XKR from Alden. The experience was excellent. I had one minor problem (not their fault) with the vehicle which they helped me with when I got home. I would purchase again from them and also recommend them. As with any used car you should check it out thoroughly. I had my Jaguar mechanic look it over when I got home and everything is in working order and was told it was a very good car. I was able to get all warranty records from my local dealer as well. This is now my third internet vehicle purchase and all have been good. Motorcars of Dallas has been the best so far.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! It has been 6 months and I have yet to receive my title for the car. I just advice everyone to stay away from this place to save you time and money. These scammers dont deserve our money!!!!!!

Poor business ethics, lots of money issues with company, 1st the payoff check for my truck bouced twice, now the check for my warranty has bounced. So Ive been charged for it but they have failed to pay, now its been canceled and i have no warranty.

We bought a car from them in February of 2013. We had them fix a large dent above the tire, the car was given to us on empty, they gave us a false Carfax report. We went to trade the car in the other day, just to find out that the car had been wrecked and the entire car had been repainted. We basically paid full price for a wrecked piece of junk. Within a month of getting the car, we had to get a new battery & put it in the shop for a week to get the alternator replaced. They will tell you whatever they think just to get you to buy a car from them.

Will no go back to them again. Bought a truck. Had AC, Brake, and rough idile issues. The oil was old. Had a broken mirror motor. They did what they could, with the least out their pocket to fix the issue. To this day still a broken mirror motor, they say they fixed. Rough idle still present. Brakes still squeak.
