Got my van in right away for the work. dealers first opening was 4 weeks out! love this place
Great service! Only place in town that wanted to work on my classic pickup!! Was told a week but ended up just one day to flush the brakes and make it safe! I’ll definitely be back for future repairs.
We rolled into Billings with no starter and 1 Stop found a bad connection which worked out cheaper than a new starter. We were back on the road very quickly
Took my classic 67 in there, had some carb work done and electrical issues fixed. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Mechanic even waited after hours to let me pick up my car on a Friday. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I would recommend.
I had tires purchased from tire rack installed back in late may. First of all, everyone at the shop was 20 minutes late to open. Then the very indignant service writer told me that my service would be delayed because one of the mechanics was stranded with no money in South Dakota. I told the service writer, what does that have to do with my car? I told him I didnt want excuses for bad service, that is an internal problem, I just want it done. Before they even opened the packaging of the pre-mounted and balanced tires, the service writer claimed that they would probably need to be re-balanced for around $130 or so. I called a tire rack representative and they said they should be balanced and its very rare that they come unbalanced. Then after about an hour went by they came back and said that all the tires needed to be re-balanced. I said I wasnt going to pay them extra because I felt like they were scamming me. I asked them if there were loose balancing weights in the box and they said no. I paid them the tirerack.com price for the contracted installation price of the tires. They said they would. But then they put the unbalanced tires on my car and I had to drive to my dealership to have competent and trust worthy mechanic install something as simple as a tire. The car rumbled and vibrated the entire way to the shop. So they must have unbalanced my tires in order to balance them so they could charge me more. There are even spots were the weight adhesive was scraped off. Additionally, I now notice that one of my tires has razor blade thin slits all along the sidewalls of one of the tires that are growing. I havent hit anything or run over any debris since I purchased these. Tire rack claims that based on the size, shape and location of the cuts these Michelin tires would not have these defects and that they were lacerated with a sharp object. Obviously I cant prove that these were done by the mechanics a 1 stop tire because I didnt see them, but I am very suspicious that they were cut with a box cutter. Based on the bad experience back in May, I cant rule this conclusion out. I caution anyone thinking of coming here with your money, spend the extra money and go to the dealership. I know I m going to have to buy new tires again and that there is nothing I can do about this shop. But these mechanics will rip you off. Im sure they have loyal customers that know the owner or something, but if you are considering this shop, go to a shop with standardized practices. I am currently in communication with tire rack to have their service relationship revoked.
Excellent service and compassionate auto care at 1 Stop tire &Auto! I highly recommend the outstanding auto care provided here. I had a flat tire and my car was brought here unannounced. Dylan dropped whatever he was doing and urgently took the time to replace my tire with a spare (for free), so I could make it to school.Thank you Dylan and Chris for your exceptional service!
Great staff great experience worth every penny the head mechanic deserves a raise 👍👍👍👍
Very friendly and awesome!
I needed two tires put on my rims and 1 Stop had the best price in town. While I would not rate their over-the-phone customer service highly at all, everything else was fairly straightforward. The owner also uses their waiting room as a computer shop, which was messy. The interior is adorably adorned with used car parts as decor, though. The service took them about an hour or two, and they called when it was done. Im still not sure if Id trust them with major engine work as some of the reviews warn against, but for basic stuff you should be fine. I will likely try them again!
Love them and always support local. They take great care of my Audi Q7
Went in to have my truck aligned. They told me that the brand new tie rod had too much play in it and that they would have to replace two of my tires, without doing that they wouldnt do the alignment. After refusing to be ripped off by them, they refused to do the alignment, cant believe a business like this with employees like that has so many good reviews, that was not my experience at all. apparently the policy is rufuse any work that cant be racked up over 500 dollars, or its not worth the time. They are not helpful, rude, and dont even have a working alignment machine they are out sourcing the work to a real shop. it is a very run down place I do not suggest to anyone.
I recently was on Vacation from KC, we were heading to the western slope. We had stopped to spend time with relatives in Castle Rock area for dinner and the night when we experienced our vehicle trouble of not starting. As it was late on a Saturday evening had to leave vehicle where it stopped and continued on the next morning our relatives had the vehicle towed to the shop on Sunday to investigate issues when they opened on Monday. They highly recommended the shop from their own experiences with them.As many vehicles do when investigated the issues did not appear for Mechanic and were diagnosed with what was thought to be the cause, the shop owner John and Sky the mechanic replaced the parts, (after checking I wanted them done as they were a considerable cost for an older vehicle) and with considerable obstacles during the week, went above and beyond to help us have a repaired vehicle by the time we returned to Castle Rock area after vacationing in the mountains. They worked late and then John opened up on Saturday morning to allow us to pay for and pick up our vehicle for our return drive back to KC, we started out and got only a limited number of miles away and the issues returned and we were once again stranded in a parking lot, no fault of the shop or work done as when the vehicle was tested and picked up everything appeared to be resolved. That being said we contacted John for the best possible actions going forward at which time he contacted Sky who not only came into the shop but then once we talked on the phone drove himself with his tools to where we broke down and then worked through the issues and not only spent his Saturday afternoon to help out strangers but also was able to diagnose the original issue and complete the repair to our vehicle allowing us to drive back to KC without any issues.I want to thank both John and Sky for the work that was done to our older vehicle as the work was completed with many difficulties in the week threatening to delay repairs, and then the way over the top service of helping us out while not only the shop being closed but to drive to where we broke down to repair the vehicle!!I would not hesitate to recommend having ANY work done here with the dedication to service and customer. Thanks again, AWESOME job Sky!!Scott
I had taken my vehicle to several other shops as it consistently wouldnt start after I took it out for the day. I was told multiple times by the other shops that there werent any problems with it, though I had been ending up stranded almost daily for about two months. I was ready to give up on the car entirely until a co worker recommended 1 Stop, which took the time to get more information and was willing to test the car for about a week. They found there was a problem with the crank shaft sensor and replaced the part. After this shops service, I havent had any problems with the car starting and it turns over from the get go. I will happily go back for any maintenance or repairs which come up - thank you 1 Stop!!
They get me in at a moment’s notice, parts come in quickly and the work completed in no time. Upfront/pre-work pricing ensures no unexpected add on’s to the bill, which I appreciate.Staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.I definitely recommend 1 Stop for all of your automotive needs!
Purchased new wheels and tires so I would have a summer and winter set. I needed to have the tires mounted and balanced and I called the usual national chains and was quoted prices beyond what they advertised, and they could not give me an exact quote until I got there. I found 1 Stop Tire & Auto looking at reviews of local shops and got a quote and made an appointment. It is a busy shop, but they completed the work on schedule and at the price quoted. (Which was significantly lower than the quotes I obtained earlier) It was not a complex job, but they did good work and went the extra mile of bagging my winter wheel and tire set so they were easy and clean to transport. My experience: good, friendly service and great prices....I would not hesitate using them in the future.
Before you read this review please understand the owner is currently working with me to resolve the issue. It has been a crazy time in all of our lives with COVID and we need to show a little Grace. I’m happy with the direction we are heading to get my truck fixed. - SethUpdate 11/28/20 - The owner continues to go above and beyond to get the issue with my truck resolved. I updated my rating from 1 to 3 stars at this point and will make further updates once I get my truck back and see how the results.I left my truck with 1 Stop in January. It is a 1992 Ford F-150 I use on our farm. I received a quote for $1,500 to fix. I gave them the ok to fix and the quote quickly jumped to $3,000 halfway through the job. Three months later I finally got my truck back in March. I tried to drive it home and it drove worse than when I took it in. I broke down three times on the side of the road from it stalling with white smoke blowing out. After taking it back to them the mechanic told me I actually need a transmission and that was probably the problem all along. All he had done was replace all my gaskets and sealed up leaks. I didn’t care about the leaks, I cared about the lack of power in 1st to 3rd. My truck is still in their lot and I’ve been waiting for the owner to call me back since April. It is now June 16th. They don’t know how to diagnose vehicles and will not take care if you if there is an issue. I’m a 4H dad in Douglas County who needs this truck. Not right!Inaccurate response from owner and still no call:I apologize that I didnt get back to you as I thought that it was worked out at the shop. My error. In reviewing the history, I note that you declined our recommendation to replace the engine based on the mileage (175,000) and condition of the engine that was losing coolant (which makes white smoke when driving) and leaking oil (check engine light was also on – evap, lean and misfire codes).Seth response - Not true- this recommendation came at time of identifying bolts cross threaded and past original estimate to fix. No white smoke until after you fixed it. Did not go to shop with white smoke.Since, the engine was leaking both coolant and oil we needed to replace the intake gasket. Unfortunately, intake bolts broke that eventually led to having them extracted (bolts were previously cross-threaded which is why the intake was leaking and why the bolts broke) and also led to needing a replacement used intake manifold. The first one we received was not usable and a second one was ordered. The waiting on the correct used manifold alone took three weeks.Once sealed, we test drove and found it sluggish during acceleration,Seth Response - This was the original reason I took it to shop.but it drove well once at speed. The check engine light was no longer on. At this point, we had you pick up the vehicle. When you brought it back two weeks later, you said that it wasn’t accelerating well from a startNot true - just the opposite. It was not accelerating at all and stalling which is why I brought it back. I actually brought it back same day but mechanic ensured me it was ok and just needed to be ran.During our warranty diagnosis, we determined the engine was running as well as it could for the compression and mileage. Not true, white smoke and stalling didn’t occur until after you fixed it.During the diagnosis test drive, we actually were able to pull a code that indicated torque convertor clutch slippage. As soon as we shut off the truck, the check engine light disappeared. This is likely the reason for the sluggish feeling on takeoff since that code appeared. (By the way, it was after aggressive driving that the code came on. Meaning, that it was unlikely to come on during a normal test drive).
The guys at 1 Stop Tire and Auto are awesome!!! They are honest, quick, and extremely accommodating. I will definitely be using them again.
Good guys but the service was lacking. A year ago we had our compressor fixed. I was told the AC was tested and worked. Because it was winter we never used it and ended up burning up all summer because it never worked. This year we took it in for more work, the work never got done and we went somewhere else and it was done in a day. Free on was added to our AC and we were told it worked. It is now summer and it doesnt.I ended up going to see them again and they took care of the Ac and put in a mirror for me that i needed installed for free. As I said before they are good people and Im glad I did some communicating. Now my wife is cool in her car and were happy.
Last week we purchased new tires from 1 Stop Auto and are extremely happy with the price of the tires, quality of service and they aligned our tires. The best part of it was that the tires were $245 cheaper than a competitor. We also use them for car maintenance which has always been excellent in regard to service and most importantly they are very honest. We recommend them to everyone we know!
Great service at this local store in old town Castle Rock!
A professional technician! I trust his work and his opinion. His prices are reasonable and he is an honest mechanic.
I have been using these guys for 2 years now and ALWAYS impressed with them and their prices!!! I trust them 100% and they always make sure Im taken care of! Thank you One Stop Auto!!!!
Fixed my backhoe tire same day for a reasonable fee. Guys at the counter were good folks and the communication was excellent
Sky was extremely prompt and got me in with very little wait. One Stop is my go-to place for all our automotive needs.
I recently brought in my Camper van to be worked on. I was on a time crunch and needed it repaired within 4 days. After the first day, we found out the gas tank and fuel lines both had leaks along with other issues that had to be resolved. The mechanic quickly got to work and managed to fix everything in time for my departure. Not only did they work hard to stick to the time frame, they are the first mechanic (of more than 3 between Vermont, Maryland and Colorado), that was able to locate the problem with the gas smell in the first place. I have not had service that responsive since I purchased the van. Thank you for helping me out and getting me back on the road!
John and his team are great. I take my vehicle there and he found me some great tires for my car. He also took care of my daughter. They are awesome!
Ordered wheels and tires from Tire Rack to be delivered here for install. John was super accommodating and fit me in same day. Excellent service and great guy.
Great service - quick & effective. Had summer wheels & tires swapped out for winter wheels & tires. They took very good care of my existing wheels, and got everything set up as expected.
Excellent work - always done right the first time! Also, very friendly courteous staff.
Best place in town to get your summer tires swapped for winter, good prices. I know because I called all of the shops. Lol. Sent my son here too, easy peasy. Highly recommend.
Best place to get your vehicle fixed. DYLAN did an excellent job on my vehicle.Customer service was friendly and helped me fix the problem really fast.everyone that needs work done on their vehicles should get it done here FOR SURE.:)
John is always friendly and super helpful. I appreciate that he never tries to talk you into work you dont really need!!
Top of the line service. The owner is fully engaged as is very concerned with the goal of top notch customer service. The crew in back is equally talented and service oriented as well. If youre the kind of customer that does your homework, youll find that the price youll pay is very competitive if not well below the competition.
This place is fantastic! Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. If youre in search of a trust worthy shop that wont overcharge you or pressure you into un-needed repairs on you vehicle, look no further. My only recommendation would be to call and make an appointment for routine maintenance.
Polite, quick and Great service. I plan using their service again.
Great service, very helpful. I was in a bind and they went above and beyond. Recommended!
John was very friendly and informative. Trustworthy shop to bring your car to!
Six Stars. Take your business where they know Just ______ or have Discount _____ and youre going to get a very limited diagnosis of the problem. One Stop know cars from tires to brakes and engines to transmissions. Fair prices, free advice and excellent work. Many thanks to Leo, Rick, John and everyone else there!
Love taking our vehicles here. These people are so honest and trustworthy I will never go to another place other than here. If you really want someone honest and trustworthy this is your place.
These guys are awesome. Fair prices and good work. We take all our vehicles to them.
Excellent service, convenient location and the owner is a good, honest, local business man
Have frequented this auto shop for many years, and have always received the very best care at very reasonable prices. We love the staff and wouldnt take our cars anywhere else!
I only gave it 2 stars because the staff was nice dispite having terrible service, took almost 3 days to get my tires changed and they tried to upsale me by putting more expensive tires on my car without my permission, saying they couldnt find the original tires I wanted and almost doubling in price. seemed like an obvious bait/switch operation, and when my dad called them out on it they magically found the original tires and had them ordered/shipped and in the car within a few hours. Then to end it all I had to call and see if my vehicle was done and it was, with out calling Im sure my car would have sat there another day before they decided to call me. Will never go back
Managed by the owner and it shows. I bought a set of tires for my F-150 from this shop and 4 years later, I needed a stem replaced on a small tractor tire. The owner was there and they did the job for me in 10 minutes and refused to take any money for the job. The next time I need tires, I will definitely be back at 1 Stop.
John runs a very respectable business. Counter help is always good and service is excellent.
Quick to help even during this pandemic.
I’ve now had two poor experiences here. Most recently I was told my truck couldn’t be aligned because I needed new pitman and pullman arms. I Checked them myself before replacing and found no play at all. Without mentioning it to another shop they aligned it no problem, then checked them again after I told them what 1 Stop said, nope, no play at all, not even a little. I find it hard to believe this was some kind of mistake at 1 Stop unless they somehow confused my vehicle with another which is rather unlikely. Very unfortunate but I can’t trust them now.
One Stop is my go-to shop for anything my truck needs. I’ve only ever gotten great service at a reasonable price.
Had me up and running, at a reasonable price, in no time
Professional, competent, friendly. Simply the best!
I had a small emergency on my way and they took time immediately to check it and they where very nice and explained the problem. Thank you for helping me out
This place is amazing Skyler and his crew are quick and friendly
Having an ac problem diagnosed was much less expensive than going to Ford, and the tech was highly qualified. Good experience and reasonable pricing.
1 stop is our go to shop for all of our vehicles needs. Great service!
Friendly honest small town service
Manager has poor attitude. I found it better service and prices at discount tire down the street
Fantastic customer service
Well Im missing a lug nut a couple of weeks later. Not great attention to detail.
Friendly, fast and efficient service!
Very good service, fast...
Horrible customer service multiple times after they did some work and lazily replaced an engine coolant hose incorrectly. This kept me out of work for a day (hose got shredded by moving parts engine coolant leaked everywhere) and stranded...no compassion no trying to make it right. This was our 3rd try with them. Done.
Not great service.
Unfriendly service in the phone and in store.
Top service, top staff and top owner. They have my highest recommendation, they are local and locally owned.
Honest and dependable work
