These guys worked very quickly to get my car working again and for a great price. They are honest mechanics and wont have you do any work that isnt needed. I will always bring my car here when needed.
Same-day service when I hadnt expected it (they were able to get part today after all). Good explanation of likely reason for engine issue, resulting in likely fix with replacement of a valve assembly. (Writing review on day of repair, so TBD on any potential outstanding issues. But the lack of a check engine light already feels like a victory.) Professional and fair, with a reasonable quote matching the final cost. Talked with Doug, and unknown tech did repair. Fingers crossed that all is well, but everything about the experience exceeded expectations. Thank you!
My family owns several different cars and trucks, Adams Automotive is the only place we go to. Any repairs we need, are done when they promise and are done right. The prices are fair and the staff are well trained and friendly. I highly recommend Adams Automotive to anyone that need their vehicles repaired.
Great place to take your car for maintenance. Prices are very fair. The technicians are accurate, reliable and fast.
We have had two excellent experiences with Adam’s Automotive. They are great in their craft and fair in price. We will continue to use them as needed in the future. Thank you for all you do!
No one likes to get their vehicle fixed but I love that this place makes it as painless as possible and Im always surprised when I take my car in and find out the repair is gonna cost less then I estimate it will. They are great about pointing out any other issues that they come across without making it feel like they are just trying to squeeze more money out of you. They are also very good about getting my car in and repaired quickly. Last time I needed something fixed they got me in the next day and had the repair completed that same day even though I called them like right before they closed.
Very nice and polite and helpful
They refused to do repair with outside parts. I dont know how much the repair would have been, but save yourself some money and find a mechanic that only charges for the labor and lets you buy your own parts.
Last month I had to get my clutch assembly replaced. I recently drove my car to its 500 city mile limit to let the clutch break in. The clutch feels nice and smooth. I recommend this shop to anyone who needs their clutch replaced. I offered my own supply of the clutch parts and they were able to put it on. Thank you so much
There are amazing have always have been amazing!
Recently moved to the area and was referred to them by a friend. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Fair pricing, good work, and always up front.
I called everyone in castle rock to price an oil change and check availability. I called Adams automotive and he said come on down well work you in. I know its not a big repair i needed to keep my car running, but sometimes its the little things. Im so happy they made time for me because ill definitely do my future business here.
I highly recommend Adams automotive. Quick, effective, and fairly priced. They were through and honest in what they suggested in being repaired.
Excellent! After 3 years of other mechanics not being able to totally solve a wiring problem, Adams Automotive completely diagnosed and fixed the problem!
Doug has always been honest with me. He is great about telling you what is going on and how you should proceed... Even if it means less business for him. The quality of work is excellent and only rivaled by their communication. I try to shop/support local businesses in castle rock and it is good to know I need not seek further for a reliable mechanic. Thanks Doug! You the man!
These guys are absolutely Great. Honest value and they have the experience to fix the real problem instead of just swapping out parts until they get lucky and you get poor. I really appreciate the way they do business!
Always helpful and friendly
Good and reliable auto mechanics in castle rock, they are not my first choice but they are easily my second choice in castle rock. Affordable, honest, just lacking in customer service skills at times.
I needed serious help (and potentially) costly repairs for my 2000 Lexus LX470. Doug helped me over the phone with sound advice and I felt confident they could take care of my problem. I had a stripped spark plug that could have required the head to be removed and re-threaded. Mike was able to perform the repair with an alternative method that saved me a lot of time and money. My car was in and out in less than a day. Runs like new!!I was so impressed that I dropped off my other vehicle that same day. I got an honest, no nonsense estimate. They even took the time to show me areas of concern while the Jeep was up on the rack. I was able to see everything with ease.I really appreciate that Doug and Mike took the time to show me what they could and couldnt do. They even took the time to explain what items could wait for a later date. With Christmas right around the corner, this was helpful to keep from spending a lot of money.Im new to Colorado and was worried about finding a new Mechanic. I know I found the right place!!Thanks for everything!
I have taken three of our cars and more of our kids cars to Adams for over 5 years and have had only excellent experiences. Just got a new used car and will be taking it there even though we moved to Colorado Springs. I recommend them to everyone.
Extremely fair and honest service. I have taken several cars to this shop and they always treat me fairly. Ladies, this is a shop you will feel comfortable walking into on your own. They have a decent waiting area and will let you know what is going on with your vehicle. No overselling or trying to talk you into something you dont need. They always keep me up to date on the status of my car too!
They have taken care of past and present vehicles with great service always!
I have taken my car to Adams Automotive a few times. I had to write a review because the service I had from these guys has been absolutely phenomenal! They have always been fair on price and the service has been the best I have encountered with a service center. In my opinion, they are the absolute best in Castle Rock, and potentially the best in Denver! I will always trust them with my car and finally found my service place!
These people are the best. Timely service. Fair prices. Very personable professionals. Honest evaluations of what needs to be done. We will continue to have them do our car service and repairs.
Fair price and honest service. I have been here multiple times and have always been treated good and fair. That’s hard to find in the automotive industry.
Excellent Local Repair ShopThey do great work at a fraction of the cost a deal would charge you. Very honest and do not sell you work you dont need. The kind of personal mechanic everyone should have.
Reliable service
This was my first visit to Adams Automotive. My wifes car, a practically new chevy equinox with only 25000 miles on it, lost power steering, close by their shop. Im very skeptical of auto repair shops as I have many bad experiences in the past. I try to do most of my own work, but with their shop so close by and with the hollidays thought Id give it a shot. Before going I read their reviews and found most of them to be positive. Well I concur, Doug, was great to work with, he gave me a ball park quote over the phone and without seeing the car came darn close to that quote in the end. Great guys to work with, couldnt get there before closing so they took payment over the phone and had the car waiting out front ready to go, had the work done in just 24 hours. Thank you guys great job.
Its hard to find an honest and reasonable mechanic...Im glad I found Adams
These guys do great work at very reasonable prices!
The owner Gus was horrible. Dropped off my wife’s car for an oil leak. After they looked for it for 2 hours without finding it they said it would cost $200-$300 just to find the leak. Called them back and said we’d tow it somewhere else and that’s when they suddenly claimed they found the leak and it would be $100 just for the “labor” in finding the leak. They never told us up front it would cost anything and it wasn’t until we told them we were going to bring it somewhere else that they told us it would be $100. This was all after we spent almost $2,000 on a previous job that they said would fix a separate problem, but did absolutely nothing. I don’t trust these guys at all. There are much better, reputable mechanics in Castle Rock and surrounding areas for imports. Don’t go here!
I have never had such good and honest mechanic service before. Being a female, I have dealt with other mechanics that try to tell me all the stuff my car needs. However, Adams is not one of them! My car works great they do the computer check when they change the oil. I will never take my car anywhere else! The last time I brought my car to the dealer they told me I needed almost $2,000 worth of work, the wonderful guys at Discount Tire recommended Adams to me when I was telling them my sad sob story. The guys at Adams did a thorough inspection and told me none of that needed to be done. Everything looked great they also told me what a good job I did taking care of my car. I will always take my car to Adams!
I wrote a positive review on this shop five years ago (see below). On this occasion I was told I needed $680 of parts and labor to recharge my air conditioning. I paid a diagnostic fee of over $50 and went to another shop. The second shop put in a schrader valve at no cost and recharged the air conditioning for $120. Its been fine ever since.Marked down to one star, and I will not be back.Older review:____________________Subaru Foresters are notorious for head gasket problems and I recently had Adams Automotive replace the gaskets. This is rather heavy-duty work and requires a shop with good skills. I also asked to have the water pump and timing belt done at the same time -- but Adams also included other replacement items like the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, the cam seal, timing belt tensioner, idler bearings, and the valve cover gaskets. This attention to detail makes it far more likely that I can avoid expensive repairs in the future (until its time to do the timing belt again). The price was very reasonable. I appreciate the owners (Jason) attention to detail and the way he treats his customers. Its hard to find a good mechanic, and this place is highly recommended.
Total ripoff. They kept my car for 2 weeks to fix 2 tie ride. Charged me over $1000. I picked up my car and in less than a mile its clicking and clicking. I call Doug to ask why. Doug says its the CV boot but the 1000 dollar receipt only days spark plugs and wires. So this morning my radiator is leaking badly and its only been 3 days since I picked up my car. Looks like a hose was pulled off. Also why did they go in my trunk? I had luggage in my car and when I got it the back seat was open and my luggage pulled out. Why? Go some where else. Real ripoff
Shady shop.. The owner is a nice guy, but man does he have a bad team. Most of the time they wouldnt even fix the problem or even give the vehicle back with other issues/same issues it had.. Majority of the time they give up on the reason u brought the vehicle to them, and begin chasing down other issues u didnt want fixed. They even did that when they broke a component, gave up on fixing it and pretended like nothing happened, tried to fix other stuff in the car. Not a trustworthy shop.. Plays games and jacks up labor and part prices.. The work is subpar at best. Almost every time I left w the vehicle, I would be back the same day or next day with issues.. Only bring a vehicle here when u have a simplistic problem that other shops wont touch or deal with.. I.e. Snapped bolts, stuck or Rusted on components, etc... Nothing mechanical, these guys overcharge and the work is almost 100% never worth the money.
I suggest Adams for anyone. I slid my van into a curb on Christmas. It bent my tie rod and rim. I called up Adams the next morning. They suggested a tow company and got me down there that day. The repairs took them about three hours and I was on my way. The price was good and I was still able to make it to work that day.
Unprofessional and very condescending to my girlfriend. Said they could fix the problem, had the car for 2 days, only to remember they didnt have the right tools. They charged for diagnosis, however, the issue was already known when the car came in.Went around the block for a same day fix, Id recommend doing the same.
Great ppl. Always fixed my truck right the first time.
Ive been using Adams since moving here in 01 and referred numerous family and friends here as well. They are always honest, trustworthy and have the best pricing.
This is the only place I will get my car serviced! Very friendly and helpful staff and quick servicing. Thanks for everything you do!!
Refuse to give out price quotes over the phone for a simple power steering pump repair. Very rude and short over the phone. Good luck with that!
Due to the proximity of my wifes work, I thought I had found a place to have our cars conveniently serviced, but I was wrong. I had Adams change the oil in my SUV and at the time, the front brakes had started to vibrate due to rotor warpage. I got a verbal quote of $350-$375 for new front breaks, which was in line with all the other shops in the area. Once my next oil change was due, I scheduled time for the oil change and new front brakes. Thankfully they called with another quote before they touched the brakes, because the new quote was $500+ for new rotors and pads, which was $150 more than the next highest quote I received. Not only that, I checked my washer fluid and that wasnt touched during the oil change. Ive never had a vehicle in for an oil change where they didnt top off the washer fluid. Looks like Ill be using Christian Brothers or Double D for my vehicles servicing.
Thank you so much for all you do. Everyone here is so helpful and always do the right thing for their customers!
I had new tires installed on a Friday and was in desperate need to get an alignment on my truck. However, I needed to replace the front control arm bushings first. I replaced the bushings myself and by noon on Saturday I needed a place to complete the alignment. Adams stepped to the plate and I was able to get in. Brandon, was super cool and explained that he will get me in ASAP. I left my truck. About an hour later Brandon, called me explained that my idler arm was bad...surprised, I explained I had replaced that part 18 months prior. Autozone sold the part and stuck by their lifetime warranty. Adams took me out of the situation and dealt with Autozone and replace the part. After, 1 hour of labor and the cost of the alignment, I am back on the road! Thank you Adams! You rock!!!
These guys do solid, honest work and I refer all of my friends to them!
I suggest anyone that needs work done go to adams. They are quick, professional and their prices are awesome....
Excellent service fair price and very knowledgeable
Great service.
Totally trust them.
