The best king super I have been to. I just wish they would build one like this in highlands ranch. Ours are so worn that we hat going to them. But this one is awesome it just isnt close enough to go to. It has wine and hard liquors the way it looks. It also has nice clothing section for a grocery store. Plus a small toy sections and many other little sections. If it was closer I would go all the time
The Pharmacy is in serious need of additional staff. Every time I go to pick up a prescription there is a long line. Today I actually had an appointment for my vaccine booster and tried unsuccessfully to get information of where to check in or where to go. To make matters worse when I tried to go up to the window after my appointment time had passed a few people in that line snapped at me that the back of the line was around the corner. I attempted to tell them I was just trying to get some information about my vaccine booster appointment and received an annoying eye roll.Thankfully, the kind attendant at the Little Clinic saw what was going on and helped us set up the booster with them rather than the Pharmacy. We had to fill out all the paperwork again, but we’re grateful for their customer service.
Okay folks, I’ve been shopping at this king soopers for years now and loving it! However, lately the store has taken a nose dive severely. The meat counter is struggling..on several occasions now I’ve purchased ground beef and roasts that were completely sour when I opened them right when I got home. There have been so many times I’ve needed an item lately and it’s completely out. I purchased fresh organic broccoli heads that had mold on them on further inspection when got home to wash everything. I’m really disappointed on the quality of this store lately. I don’t know what’s going on but hopefully it changes soon.
This King Soopers is massive. The sheet size of it alone screams Super-Target more than the other brand and it feels every bit as upscale was the Evans location. Everything from liquor to clothing is sold here. I love the wide open spaces and enormous selection. Go here, even if you dont need to buy anything, just to marvel at its glorious enormity. 5 stars!
The bakery is awesome! We asked for some cat themed donuts for our daughter’s birthday and they did a spectacular job. She loved the donuts and they were a huge hit at her party!
Placed a pickup order online around 1:45 pm. We had no food in the house, sick wife, and 2 babies. I figured Id try and make things easy on everyone doing the online order service. The pickup window for my order was set between 6 - 7 pm. Then we got a notification that it was delayed to 8 - 9 pm. Ok. No big deal. Wed already had croak for lunch. Well just get takeout for dinner. When I got there at 8:45 they said it was outside the normal pickup time. I went inside and explained what was going on, and the assistant manager Ryan said the online order people go home at 8, and no one could help me. the best he could do was go back there and try to sift through things but it was clear that he didnt really want to help. I guess this is why they have self checkout now. I should have know better to depend on them, hopefully no one else makes the same mistake I did.
Store is kept clean. Stocking of shelves done daily to support our large community. Enjoy the clothing section of Levis and Carhartt clothing. Reasonably priced. All around enjoyable shopping experience!
Very well light, organized and easy to find stuff. Plenty of products and love the organic sections that they have and they have plenty. Very polite and helpful employees as well. Definitely will return as I am an out of town customer with family in the area. Nice to know that the local store is a place I feel very happy to return to when I visit!
We picked this pharmacy for our first medications on leaving the hospital because it was close and the quote for one of the expensive medications on Good RX was the lowest. Bad choice. Not only did this pharmacy not have that medication (and another one) here, they failed to let us know this. When I finally got through to someone via phone, she told me it wouldnt be available until Monday, two days later. It happened to be the most important of the group, and we needed it that day, not two days later. She offered no assistance in helping us find it.The King Soopers on Ridge Road had it, but the Promenade pharmacy wouldnt send the prescription to them because the pharmacist was busy. I had to place an emergency call to the prescribing physician to have him send another script to the Ridge Road KS pharmacy. The Ridge Road KS pharmacy was very accommodating, called me when they received it, made sure I would be there to pick it up a half hour before they closed so they could make sure everything was in order for us. They were great. If you need a prescription, dont use the KS Promenade store. Use the Ridge Road store.
This is more than just your typical grocery store, it offers practically anything and everything youll need. For the most part its typically well stocked, organized, and clean. The people there are kind and very helpful. It offers both checkout with cashiers or self checkout. It also offers Starbucks and a bank if need be. The pharmacy however is typically always busy so expect to wait in line for a bit, even to ask a simple medical question. They do offer restrooms towards the front on both ends of the building. All and all, great store to shop for just about anything and get in and out fairly quickly.
It is a shame that people who are patients needing to get their medications have to wait upwards to 25/35 minutes in line.Pharmacist should be screaming to corporate demanding more pharm techs to assist in helping the customers. AND adding additional Pharmacist to handle the work load.I was told by a Pharmacist who was a manager, that this store processes 3,000 scripts a day. No wonder why I have to wait. They are under staffed, under paid, and you fill in the last blank _______. Very frustrating!!!!!!
Store extremely crowded. Besides that it is very easy to shop in as the lanes are wide. Selection is good variety is the word. Do not expect to get checked out quickly. Staff is very helpful.
The store itself is great..too big but clean, people are friendly and always able to find what I need. HOWEVER.. something needs to be done about the pharmacy. I understand that COVID has had an impact, but having to wait in line for 30-45 minutes is unreasonable. Even during off peak hours I had to wait 25 minutes. Then when you get to the window, you find that the script you had called in a week earlier isnt even ready. This used to be the best pharmacy in Castle Rock, now its the worst.
The bakery was amazing in working with me and with the other King Soopers store to make a very specific graduation cake. I needed red velvet which only the King Soopers on Ridge Road had, but I also needed a picture on the cake which the King Soopers on Promenade Parkway could do. Both stores worked together to make sure I had exactly the cake I wanted. The bakery on Promenade Parkway decorated the cake beautifully. Excellent customer service and I greatly appreciate this store going out of their way to make this amazing cake.
This used to be a nice place, manager used to be friendly, guy with beard, in am.Now always he’s always angry.Today- he was stocking ice- another checker stocking flowers—lines of people at self check outs not working ...Few people just left, without their groceries.
Sylvia r at the registar was super rude!! Dont work here if you dont like your job! This is all customer service be nice!
This is a large store and has a great selection of items to choose from. The produce is fresh and the employees are helpful. It was a great place to shop.
We visited here on Saturday. During our visit we encountered numerous moldy items throughout the store. Understanding it was busy we just picked out good items and went home. Well this morning I had to throw out all the produce we bought for it was all rotten and moldy. So just over two days and I had to throw everything away. For a company that advertises fresher than fresh im rather disappointed.
This locations order pick up is disastrous. If you can help it - don’t order for pick up, just go in. Their people pick rotting food, they never answer their phones, and half the time my order is never ready on time - and they don’t even bother to let you know until you get there and ask where your order is!
Always when visiting Castle Rock, King Supers is my favourite store to visit for all my supplies. The Guiding name board makes things so much easier to find, Thank You.
King Soopers in Castle Rock, Colorado is a great store to visit and shop at while here in the city. The family is well keep, maintained, clean and super friendly. KS do their very best to maintain the stocking of the shelves even with the large amount of traffic of shoppers going in and out of the store. I highly recommend others to shop here other than the other competitive stores that they may frequently visit.
I have been a shopper at this king soopers and others for many years, I found their pickup system especially lately to be so helpful in my busy life and to be honest I needed all the help I could get, I have 3 kids under 3 and just had recently had surgery. So pickup had become essential, we always get our gas here as well, and do our grocery order here once at least once a week. Until they started charging me twice for my orders every week, for three weeks. It over drafted my account and I was told by my bank I would have to pay over draft fees. Until I called and spoke with a bank manager and was informed this is happening to 100s of their customers because king soopers is implementing a new system. The bank tried to delete this charge on sever occasions and it kept coming back for almost two weeks of me not being able to access my bank account until it was resolved. I called and spoke with the store manager who put me on hold several times for several minutes to speak with the pickup team, they ignored the call, she finally put me on the phone with the manager in charge of pickup and not only was he rude and brushing off my concerns he informed me there was nothing he could do, he gave me a 800 number to talk to customer service and as a joke it was a 800 number to a foreign company demanding for my card number to charge me with a scam investment. I am so disappointed in their lack of customer service and using my expense for a laugh. King soopers will now be losing me as a customer because there are other stores in the area who do not have such issues with their pick up systems or management team. I am very disappointed that even my entire family who currently shopped them as well is going elsewhere with me too. I wanted to share this story so others do not get scammed like I did, and mistreated by a large company.
The rating is for the Pharmacy. After waiting in line for 20 minutes (only one person working at the window) we were informed that the text they sent saying the prescription was ready was incorrect, so we have to return. This is not the first time weve had issues with this location. Id recommend some place else to fill prescriptions.
The vegetable taco was amazing! However, I got a spicy pork taco that wasnt spicy. Other than that my takeout order was ready super quickly and the food was good 👍 will be eating here again. I want to try the breakfast items.
Love this place. Went for the digital coupon on wine. The person in the liquor department was friendly and helpful. Lots of variety. Impressive store.
Terrible deli. One counter person on the weekend, no number counter so people jump line and claim if 2 people stand together that is the formal line. Who cares if youve been standing for 10 minutes letting those ahead of you go as is only courteous. I need to find a better deli.
OMG clothes and shoes at king soopers. I could have spent the whole day there.
My go to, alot of choices, not to bad prices, plus they have sweet peach tea. Sweet tea is a rarity here in castle rock, co
This location is 100x better than the old one. They have literally everything at this new location; groceries, cloths, housewares, pharmacy and more. There is a Starbucks and a US Bank inside. They have an A+ Sushi bar and custom sandwich service at the deli. In my opinion, best grocery store in the Castle Rock area.
Now heres a store you got to love everything you need & food & a shirt for your back great store I give it a 5 🌟
Very big with lots of options to choose from. Everything seemed very fresh but it was also extremely busy on a mid Thursday which was surprising to me. Overall, it is a very nice store.
You wont find Murrys pâté at Walmart! Though Murrays east coast delicacies are returning to a dedicated space in all King Soopers across Colorado, a Marketplace also has dedicated customer service for this space! In addition, the existence of a Marketplace in a particular neighborhood, screams privilege and status - just to be aware. Its like a Walmart business model in reverse - mostly food, but now many dedicated aisles of clothes, shoes, and household items. Be sure to soak it all in if a trip to a Marketplace is a special occasion; not a weekly occurrence. Enjoy!
This is my grocery store. They are very kind and helpful to customers and do carry some kosher (Jewish) items as well.Their staff is always polite and helpful. I never feel hesitant to ask them anything.Very impressive. Only negative thing for me is parking and sometimes carts available.I love their deli and selection of deli meats to choose from. Their Sushi bar is pretty good and I love the presence of Brothers BBQ there too. They are a very nice, big store with products some King Soopers do not haveOne frustration was that I bought the most beautiful key lime pie at Thanksgiving but it only had 1 small inadequate seal on the box, and by the time I got it home, it was key lime mush. Still delicious though.Very awesome store and it carries healthy alternatives too.
I usually like this store a lot. But today, they had all Easter candy 50% off with their shoppers loyalty card and a digital coupon. Well, I bought a LOT of Easter candy. When I got home and looked at my receipt, I noticed they hadnt taken the 50% off the candy. I took my receipt back to customer service, and the young man who waited on me was very polite, but said that couldnt be right. He didnt believe me. Luckily there was another employee who overheard our exchange and told him I was right, there are signs all over the store. So the man added up what Id spent, and I was actually refunded almost $30! And though everyone was nice, it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. Ill revise this at a later date Im sure. As I said, I usually really like this store. Today was not a good day.
I love this grocery store. Fresh deli area is awesome. So clean. Staff is so friendly.
Ridiculously overcrowded. 20 check lanes, 2 open. Half the self-check lanes needing assistance.
This store has everything you want! From eggs to shoes they got you covered. This store has a pharmacy, great deli and the bathrooms are always clean. Customer service at this King Soopers is exceptional, if you are looking for something they will tell you exactly where it’s at and if they don’t know they won’t say they don’t know- they will find someone who does and get you there quickly! This store also has an alcohol section that is better than one would expect and the sales make it well worth the stop. It’s always busy but that just speaks to its greatness. It never takes too long to checkout.
They sell yogurt that expired 2 months ago!I’ve had good experience with this store until now— it is a pickup order so I couldn’t select stuff from the shelf myself — then I got this, a yogurt drink that expired in September. It is November 15 today. I’m so shocked. How is this even possible? Don’t they check their dairy shelf and remove expired things? Oh they must do that annually.
Its always hella busy and kind of cutthroat with all the people taking the last thing on the self right before your eyes. If you get over that though the prices are alright and they have a good selection of stuff. Their cheese department is the best!
Thank you Melanie who was very helpful and friendly working the self check out. Finally, someone at this location with a great attitude that seemed to enjoy job and people. I usually hear employees complaining loudly to each other in front of customers about their jobs. Melanie is awesome!
Got a true workout doinf some shopping!! This place is huge!!! Also clean, well stocked and good shopping experience.
Great store. Lots of selection, pleasant staff.
Produce is always a mess and the south doors close at 8. Or 6. It depends on the manager. The pharmacy is a train wreck, and they stock at the most inopportune times.
Please please use a different pharmacy. This place is so unorganized, uncommunicative and quite frankly irresponsible with peoples health. I have on numerous occasions placed a refill order for my daily medication and they have consistently not met their own commitment given to fill my prescription on time. I have had to skip a day of taking my medication on more than one occasion at this point. Counting on them to have your medication needed in stock and to take your prescription needs seriously is dangerous. I suggest going to one of the other many pharmacies in the area that arent as cavelier about the health of others.
Pharmacy staff is horrendous. They are not nice and not not accommodating. their lines are horrendous and for somebody like me that works 6 days a week I need to be able to shortcut to the line to get my prescription. They need to have something in place for people that work not people that are staying home and pretending to work but people that are actually working that need to get their prescriptions and need to get them filled in a timely manner
Wonderful produce dept! Really nice store with some great buys. Its just a little overwhelming and big when u just need to run in and pick an a single item or 2.
Busy store but they always seem to have what you want in stock. Great wine selection. Very clean and friendly clerks
One of my top five grocery stores, the best selection of sea food, meats, cheeses, pizza, ready to fix meals, this one even has clothing.
Repeatedly has the worst pharmacy service, with over 20 minute wait times on over 10 occasions, and incompetent staff. Finally gave up and transferred away from here.
Who, in Colorado, does groceries better than King Soopers? Nobody does, for my money!
Nice King SupersGlad to see that they have cashiers taking care of customers
Love this grocery store, it has all the things you would expect, but so much more. It has a a selection of gourmet cheeses, meats and deli options. Theres a great selection of alcohol including gift sets. The store also has holiday decor and a small selection of clothing a footwear. The staff are always friendly and happy to help.
It was a nice store. The young lady that was my cashier was so sweet and friendly, we had good conversation. She talked with both of my kids and bagged groceries along side my 7 year old. The bathrooms were fairly clean there are a few things in need of repairs the toilet paper dispenser and the soap dispenser cover were missing or broken. Overall I found everything I was looking for and got our turkey for Thanksgiving for $8.52. The sale is 57 cents a pound with your kings card. Definitely go out and get your turkey now.
Much more variety and extra departments then standard king Soopers store.
This was a gigantic King Soopers! Wow, big place, I am pretty sure you could find anything and everything! The selection was enormous, I am going back, I didnt have enough time to check out the whole store!
Its always a mob scene when I go there.
I love King Soopers. I can always find what I need.
Busy store but lots of good stuff
Better selections than smaller stores.
I go here too much but its a nice store
Love these stores. Clean, well organized, friendly staff, reasonable prices, great variety, love the natural foods sections in the larger stores.
I love King Soopers but I do not love seeing animals brought into the grocery store that are NOT service animals. It is unsanitary and a health risk to everyone entering the store.
The store is good. The front end checkers need to be taught work ethic and behavior and friendly customer service. A rude old masked man shouted at another customer about a mask order. Then yelled f u at him. People need to mind their own noses and leave others be.
Handicap carts were fully charged. Very crowded . Everyone pretty much wearing mask. Check out was great! Plenty of help!
Always fresh produce which is a win for me. Great meats and always stocked.
THE DOPEST KING SOOPERS EVER. Screw the outlets, Im going to kings. For those of you who dont know this is like a King Soopers + small section of tjmaxx+ bed bath and beyonds beauty and health product section+, a mini food court (with real food), and more. Not sure why there arent more of these. I will say I lost my keys in the last trip here I found them luckily but make sure you have an eye on your keys cuz this place is gigantic.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Every single time I come here they are out of everything I need. The pharmacy staff sucks.Being that this is one of two king soopers in castle rock everyone and their mom shops here. I literally hate coming here
This is one of the biggest king soopers around, convenient as well for registering your car tags.
Super chaotic out of so many things
I think this KS does a great job overall. I use the pickup more often than not. The people are friendly and there is a great view as you wait.
I purchased a $75 prime rib a couple of days before Christmas, when I went to cook it on Christmas it was in the oven for the recommended time, so I cut it open To find the medium still completely rod inside and was not really cooking at all. There was barely any meat in it and was mostly fat. So unfortunately my family ate a bunch of side dishes on Christmas and had no meat. I contacted kroger corporate and gave them the store and the approximate time and the amount of my purchase and asked if I could just get a new piece of meat. I was not trying to get money back or anything. I did keep the piece of meat and I also took pictures in video . They emailed me back and let me know That I can take it back to the store with the receipt. The whole reason Why I contacted corporate was because I no longer have the receipt, I was hoping that with the transaction amount in around the proximate time they could help me out and see that I had made the purchase and I could possibly get just a new piece of meat. They were totally unable to help me and told me to take my receipt and the meat to the store to get a new one which brings me back to square one that I dont have a receipt. You would think a corporation that sees my account and sees how much money I spend in their store would be a little more willing to help me in this situation but obviously they dont care about their customers.
Hire some people for pity sake!It is ridiculous to have to wait 40 minutes, in line here. Especially, if youve had surgery and need your medication
Wonderful store. All the associates were very helpful. Probably my favorite King Soopers in the greater Denver area.
This morning I was shopping in produce very much in a rush I asked a young man Gabriel F for some help. I would like to say he was very respectful and made my trip so much easier. Good job bud. Thanks to him I felt more welcomed and at ease.
This was my first trip to this King Soopers. Normally, I really like the brand as I was a vendor at one in Lakewood. I even shop at the one near my home in Parker,(which we love the employees). However, I’ve never dealt with more rude employees within one building.I kindly walked up to one employee and said excuse me and she looked at me and turned around and walked away. The employee in the deli ignored me as well. My girlfriend had the same experience when she went to ask for a particular item.We always use our manors and I was not expecting that kind of service at all. I will never shop in that store again.P.s whoever designed the layout of the store needs to burn their plans and start over. It doesn’t make any sense.
WORST managed store I’ve ever dealt with. Where do I even start??!!? Their click list service is terrible. They CONSTANTLY are out of stock with even very basic products like butter or chicken. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been called and told my order would be delayed by several hours, which is a BIG deal for me because we live quite a ways away up in the mountains and I have to plan my shopping around when we come down for doctor appointments and such, so we end up having to sit in our car for 2-3 hours waiting when they’re late like that. And when your husband has health issues, that kind of delay can be really hard. Plus, their click list crew has a TERRIBLE attitude, which I just learned today comes from the top down. The store manager, Eric, is completely unapologetic, lacking any sort of compassion, and is completely insincere with how he offers to so-called “help”. This is the closest store for us to shop at, but I’m SERIOUSLY considering driving an extra 20 minutes to a different store because this store is that bad. Ugh.
We shop at King Soopers for most of our grocery needs... But that might change. Why are they now stocking during busy shopping hours and the personal shoppers who take up way too much room run around like they are the customer and the shoppers should get out of their way
I have no idea why the meat I buy from this place always goes bad within 24 hours. I buy meat from Walmart and Target that lasts days longer than any of the fresh meat I buy from this store. Example, I had pork chops in which the Sell By date was (9/16) I open it up and it smells like its weeks older than that. The beef I buy goes brown in the fridge. Do NOT buy meat from here unless its in the frozen section or if its the non-store brand like Tyson or Perdue.
Crowed, but pretty good selection of goods.
Very nice king soopers location with a lot of selection. 4 stars because it is usually VERY busy. Store is large so probably still within COVID capacity, but its not like customers are evenly distributed. The produce section gets packed especially at rush hour and checkout lines can get long.Still, the store usually has good produce as well as a large selection of home goods and non-grocery items. Its nice that theres a liquor section as well which you can get coupons for if youre a king soopers member.
This Castle Rock King Soopers location was extremely crowded last Friday when we visited to pickup a few items. The staff handled it very well. We went early in the morning, thinking it wouldnt be so crowded. Doesnt matter. This location seems to always be busy (crowded).
This store is HUGE and has pretty much everything someone could need. Holy cow it is great!
This store has all the amenities. It is clean and easy to find items.
Nice clean and it had what i was looking for
This was very good store to shop at everyone was very friendly, cahier was very professional and help bag the grocery
Great selection and value..
Large building with basically nothing in it. Every time my family goes to shop here more than half of our grocery list is out of stock forcing us to make another stop at a different store. This location needs to be ran more efficiently in perspective of supply and demand.Pick up is a nightmare. I’ve used this locations pick up services twice and both experiences were terrible. Few items on my list gets picked up and the rest is considered out of stock but both times I’ve gone into the store after (frustrated of course) and have found multiple items on my list that the employees labeled “out of stock”.Employees look exhausted, miserable and clueless!
Overall we shop at King Soopers for the majority of our grocery needs. On occasion, we will hit Whole Foods for Steaks, Chops and Seafood. We dont go to this location much as its always crowded. Even though they have a large produce section when you walk in the door 99% of the time they have stockers blocking the isle way which makes it very inconvenient to access the produce we went there to buy.
They seem to consistently be out of stock on lots of food. Otherwise it has a very nice interior and nice employees.
This place is a nut house on the weekends, and most days after 5pm.Unfortunately, whoever does the purchasing at this store must have fallen asleep in economics class, as the supply of in demand products is scarce. The convenience is great, and connected gas station earns it an extra star, otherwise I’d give 3 stars.
Some staff, especially in the deli, are quite rude! I’ve had them say they were closed 15 minutes prior to the deli closing time (which is earlier than the rest of the store). I had to push to get service. Also, if you are going to be open you need to have cashiers available to ring customers up. I should get a discount if I have to go through self check out because you have no cashiers at the registers. I usually end up bagging my own groceries and would at least appreciate a thank you from the cashier when doing so. The two stars are for cleanliness and decent produce.
Great selection and better hours than other near by grocery stores
Deli was busy 11 people in line with only one worker. Although the cheese counter had 3 people working with no linePoor management. Very frustrating!!!!
Go there often, lots no ch[se from, not only food
Love this store in Castle Rock. Such a beautiful clean store & so much to choose from.
3:20 PM 04/16/20 We were checking out and I noticed the team member that was doing the bagging had on a mask and gloves. Great, right? Right up until he lowered his mask so he could wipe his nose with his gloved hands. Then he pulled his mask back up and went on bagging our groceries. Presumably he went on to bag other customers groceries after that. I wouldnt worry about it much if it couldnt kill me
My always go to spot! Every morning!
