I love all of the breads Ive gotten here, but the cinnamon chip and baked potato bread are my personal favorites! The cinnamon chip makes outstanding French toast! All of their breads are so fresh and delicious. I loved when its still warm!

I visited for the first time with a friend recently for my first ever afternoon tea experience. Everything tasted great, the presentation was lovely, and the store owner made us feel very cared for. I’ll definitely be back, and I look forward to trying their regular food options as well!

We love going here for the special tea times she hosts. In this case I invited several women in my family as a celebration for mothers day. We had a delightful time and the food and tea were outstanding. I will definitely go back for these afternoon teas. Also, I pick up a loaf of their delicious bread anytime Im on that side of town.

Not only are the breads and baked goods delicious and well-priced, staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure which loaf to buy? Theyll offer you a sample. Ditto for baked goods. Im having a strawberry oatmeal bar for breakfast after sampling a (generous) few bites. And when I purchased two loaves of bread to bring to a clients employees, the very nice woman at the counter not only offered to slice but also packaged the loaves in a box for better display in the breakroom. I love this place!

Delicious breads and other items. The sourdough was still in the oven when I went so have to go back later to give that a try but everything else I picked up like the monkey bread and white loaf were big hits with my family.

I just visited GHBC to pick up lunch for my guy and myself. *They offer your choice of a sample of bread while you wait* I selected garlic cheddar, and Im fairly certain its similar to what God sent the Israelites when they were wandering the desert. How the heck did they get flavorful chunks of cheese in there, amidst pillowy bread? Im not going to try to recreate it, Ill just go there to purchase it.I had the Yardbird salad and I loved it, especially the spiced, candied seeds. My fella had the Louisville chicken salad and liked it very much. Also, both employees I encountered were so friendly.

Wonderful service, so friendly and considerate! I dont even care about Covid sanitation procedures, but they really went above and beyond to keep things clean and safe. And, as always, amazing baked goods and coffee! I had a raspberry rhubarb cream cheese scone the size of my face (so good, so filling!) and my daughter had a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. She has a severe nut allergy, too, but one of the employees explained to me that they are careful to keep things baked with nuts separate, and they happened to not have any baked goods with nuts out today anyway. ☺️ We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Right when you walk in youre greeted and handed and slice of fresh bread, most of the time still warm from the oven. The sweets are fantastic and the fact that they have a different assortment of bread every day of the week that changes every month keeps you coming back. My favorite time to go is around lunch time when they have the bread just cool enough to sell. Nothing better than hot out of the oven bread!

They have really good loose leaf tea here. Its a quiet, personal space that makes you feel comfortable. Their bread is made fresh daily and its extremely good. If you dont want bread, then there is single snacks that are fresh baked.

I was familiar with Great Harvest having lived in the KC area. Was thrilled to find out that one has opened in Cedar Rapids. The breads are awesome. Its wonderful to have access to true real bread not the cotton batting you find in most grocery stores. I went one day and got the Gorgonzola Pecan, Harvest White and some sweets. I tried the Panza while there and was bowled over by its incredible flavor. I went back the next day to get Panza and the American Rye. All their breads make awesome sandwiches. The sales people were very accommodating to me with physical disabilities and that was greatly appreciated.

I had black coffee and a mixed berry breakfast bar. The berries were fresh and tasty. The dough/batter was slightly sweet and flavorful. The dining area is small but sufficient. Nice staff.

Went in at about 11:30. Staff immediately offered me a variety of samples. Seemed to be a bit picked over so not a huge amount of options. Tea was oversteeped and got bitter extremely quickly. (too much in the tea bag and water was too hot) havent tried the French loaf yet but smells good. Slightly softer crust then I usually expect from a French bread.

The bread and sandwiches are excellent. Everything is natural, handmade, and fresh. The staff is nice and customer oriented. I came late, but they were willing to stay and make 3 wonderful sandwiches. We are from the Chicago area, we make it a point to stop by when we are in town to visit family.

I placed an order for 6 people today and we received it when they stated we would and everything was correct. Dion was very friendly while taking our lunch orders and went about and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely everyone who works here is so sweet! The Monkey Bread is to die for, and they give such huge samples! Also doubles as a lovely, quaint little cafe if youd like a sandwich and some coffee. One of the best gems in Marion.

I have driven or walked by this place for years without noticing it. Finally went in today and loved it. Small, cozy, and casual. Friendly staff. And in my opinion, they have the best roast beef sandwiches in Cedar Rapids. Dont just drive by and wonder about it.

Based on the excellent customer service late today, I bought a round loaf of cinnamon chip bread and a savannah bar. It wasnt my first visit to GHBC, but Id forgotten just how decadently delicious their bread is. The cinnamon chips were just perfect. I loved it!

Where I lived in Northern Virginia we had a Harvest Bread Co. and I was so excited to see one here in Cedar Rapids. The staff here is just as warm and friendly as the staff in Virginia and the breads are just as wonderful, specially during the holidays. Nice to have a piece of my old home to go to here in the Midwest.

I own this place. But its a top notch scratch bakery with excellent sandwiches, coffee, and hot tea as well as Afternoon Tea events.

My routine is to go to Great Harvest in the morning, get a sample and call it breakfast and then take a tuna fish sandwich home for lunch. Its a good system.Let me brag about the sandwich.First of all, gotta get the white bread. I know, I know, wheat and that Dakota bread are yummy too. I say go for the white with the tuna fish. Otherwise, the tuna might lose out to the bread. Let them load it with lettuce, tomato, and red onion, but then, ask for sliced cucumber and salt and pepper. Now we are talking. Im telling you, this is the perfect tuna fish sandwich. Perfectly salty, soft with little crisp from the cukes, and creamy from the mayo dressing. I can never finish a whole sandwich, so I get to spread the joy over a whole afternoon.... Eating half at noon and the other half at 3. So good, trust me.Three more things that make this place a fine star: Coke products, endless sweets like cinnamon monkey bread and salted ginger cookies, and dinner rolls to die for (pre order them for holidays.)So, make the trip. Grab a sample, order a sandwich, and take some treats home to the family. Great Harvest will not disappoint.
