Got an iced cold brew with heavy cream and sugar free caramel. It tasted like a mixture of fruity-coffee. It was not exactly my calling… Had already left and was half way gone and didn’t bother turning back for a different drink. Had to toss this $6 drink cause I couldn’t stomach it. Their website online says they have the best cold brew. Never again.

My girlfriend and I went here for some coffee and it turns out they have food! I got a breakfast panini and it was so good! Fresh ingredients for sure! The coffee is very good too!Also, they have toast that you can get on its own. I love toast and this is the first place Ive found that has just toast! So awesome! ❤️

A great little coffee shop with friendly staff. The cappuccino tasted right, the panini breakfast sandwich was on point, and the tables were clean. Next time I am in Cedar Rapids I will be back!

First coffee shop in Cedar Rapids and definitely a great place to visit before or during work if you are downtown Cedar Rapids or visiting the area. Highly recommend their cafe mochas with almond milk and their banana cake as a treat!

Super friendly and I had never been there. The person working was super relaxed and made me feel comfortable and told whatever I was thinking theyd make it. My Cinnamon toast crunch latte was phenomenal! The interior is super clean and very much a breathable space.

A hidden gem in the middle of the city! Hands down THE BEST banana cake Ive ever had. Its super moist and flavorful. The coffee is great, there are vegetarian options and dairy-free milk, and the breakfast sandwiches are DIVINE. And theyve recently expanded and added more seating area, so you can hang out with friends for good conversation. Id give it more stars if I could.

Quaint little shop that has all the syrups you could ask for, a delicious bakery assortment, smoothies to espresso! They have a little of everything and everyone there is always so friendly and they take the time to remember your name and order for when you return! Highly recommend this cute little gem. Also has a wall full of pet photos that is awesome to look at while you wait for your drink.

I came in at lunch since I was given a giftcard. I purchased an Iced Mocha and a Blueberry Muffin. I will admit, the Mocha could use some more chocolate, but that was the best Blueberry Muffin Ive ever had. The lady behind the counter was so nice to me I had a smile when I walked away. Please dont get me wrong, I liked the coffee, just maybe do 1.5 or 2x the chocolate and it will be perfect. All in all, nice people, good coffee, and amazing Blueberry Muffins.

This is a wonderful coffee and tea shop! Their ice teas that you select are brewed on the spot and delicious! The bakery items are ALL delicious, and their soups give anyone a run for their money! What beats everything is their friendly staff, that genuinely want to make you happy and make a great and affordable lunch! Their paninis are good, and made quickly while you wait!

VERY friendly staff, very clean and organized. Had the Angels kiss and it was delicious! Also tried their pistachio muffin and it was phenomenal sooo tasty and had plenty of pistachios stuffed in there, YUMMY!! The girls are super sweet too, I will definitely be frequenting this cute little coffee shop often.

My friend and I go around Cedar Rapids and Marion trying out coffee and food and ours was was not good at all. Many places near by that have better prices and quality. Do not recommend even to my dog.

I recently went out of my way to try a local coffee shop. I presented a coupon within a Save Around fundraiser book I paid for, in which the Coffee Emporium takes part and has coupons printed. Upon presenting the coupon, the owner very rudely told me she refused to honor my coupon. She acted offended that I would even consider bringing a coupon into her shop, that was specifically for her shop. She said she was not taking part in this fundraiser. I then contacted the fundraiser organization to find out the business has a legal obligation to honor the coupons when they sign their agreement. Its disheartening that a small business would go against their agreement and better yet take advantage of a fundraiser to raise money for local schools.

While in Cedar Rapids for a long weekend, I found The Coffee Emporium on a walk. The salted caramel macchiato was excellent, and the turkey provolone wrap was tasty and made to order. The women working were pleasant and helpful, and after learning about our reasons for being in Cedar Rapids, they were encouraging and supportive. I was eager to return the next day for another coffee & wrap; however, it was Saturday and they were closed. Unbeknownst to me, the owner was inside, saw me at the door, and kindly welcomed me inside to make another macchiato. She remembered me from the previous day, asked after my family, and generally made me feel welcome. Thank you for wonderful food and service!

One of only two excellent coffee shops in the area, Coffee Emporium has a consistently high quality product. The artwork on the walls and friendly employees make it a pleasure for me to grab my coffee or espresso in the morning. Since the flooding in downtown CR, I have come to miss Robin and friends at CE...Do rebuild - youre a landmark and a destination.

I have been going to get coffee and food for over 10 years . Their coffee prices are the same as you would get any where else. They have more variety and flavors then I have found anywhere else.

The iced blended mocha drink was acceptable, but kind of weakly flavored - neither the coffee nor chocolate flavor really came through much.

This little coffee shop has good coffee and excellent chai. However, the lady that is always working could be friendlier. When I go to a coffee shop, part of what I am paying for is the service. When I was there yesterday, during a small rush, the lady behind the counter actually sighed and grunted at me when she took my order. She barely made any eye contact or conversation. I used to be a barista at Starbucks so I know how stressful rushes can get but there were only about 4 people in line. If you dont like your job, please go get a new one, but if not then buck up and give some good service. We even tipped her $3 and she was not grateful.
