This place is 100% worth the money. Their work is 100% quality. They painted my Alfa Romeo perfectly. I couldnt even notice where they blended it. The flakes matched up spot on. They polished it after the paint job and it looks better than new. It has a very nice mirror finish. Trust me, you get what you pay for with this shop. Staff is very polite and friendly. Super welcoming.

My wife had her Acura TLX rear ended last month. Took it to Import to get fixed. 100% quality work. They actually care about your car as if it were their own. They don’t use aftermarket parts. Quality work and quality people. Paint matched great and looked better than factory. Never take your car to Abra or Caliber Collision, they are ran by insurance companies and just want the work done ASAP and as cheap as possible.

I miss these guys so much. Not only is this place the best in Charlotte, its one of the best paint and body shops in the country (this my opinion, but also others in the car community ive talked to). if you have a high end car, they will take their time and do it right. if you ask for your car to done quickly, they will stay on top of the insurance non-sense.A lot of people dont really understand how insurance companies wedge these body shops, and a lot of repair shops work within these constraints. Loren (the owner) will do everything he can to work with the adjusters to get the best parts for your car. In some cases, with only saving .20-.30 cents on the dollar for a salvage part, its worth the insurance companys money to get an OEM part. Loren knows how to talk with these folks, which ends up with a better build for the car owner.I swear by these guys. Every adjuster in town knows Loren. They like him. Lorens customers like him. And since moving to Denver, CO...I really miss having this shop. Ive had at least 3 cars repaired by this shop, and they have always taken care of me. One of the repairs was for a super rare BMW 1M Coupe, and when I did the diminished value report, the guy said that it was some of the best work hes ever seen for a diminished claim. And for that...thanks IP&B.

I dropped my 2017 Porsche 911 at the dealership for a front-end respray (rock chips) and application of xpel paint protection film. They arranged for Hendrick Luxury Collision Center to perform the respray, and the results were shockingly bad.Also shocked with Hendricks result, Porsche of Charlotte arranged for Loren and his team at Import Paint and Body to repaint the car. A significantly larger portion of the car needed to be repainted due to the first bodys shops workmanship (they damaged body panels, broke plastic housing, and reattached my Porsche ornament crooked and covered in overspray using only a single nut). He really had his work cut out for him.Beginning about an hour after Porsche Charlotte delivered the car to Loren, communication was open and he was clear and candid about what needed to be done, how long it would take, and what my expectations should be. Lorens team exceeded all of my expectations when they delivered the repainted, PPF covered car back to me within the timeline they promised. I have nothing but good things to say about Loren and would recommend anyone needing any body work done pay him a visit. His team is top notch and the workmanship is first quality. He brought my 911 back to life and I cannot thank him enough!!

Went above and beyond to make sure my new side mirrors not only were painted correctly but also installed them (pretty complicated installation) and it came out amazing. Having seen my father paint cars for most of his life for pleasure, I can appreciate quality body work and painting as a work of art. I’m very particular about my cars, and when my Porcshe Cayenne GTS got sideswiped on the entire right side, Loren @ IP&B was the only shop I considered. Even in the light at an angle you cannot distinguish factory from new paint. The texture (orange peel) is like factory and it’s the reason why Porcshe refers him while mentioning their company bodyshop. They understand the pressure needed to achieve a factory look. If you have a Porsche or any car that you care about, you’ll be doing yourself a disservice by not getting a quote from them. It’s a good feeling when you walk in a waiting room and see framed hand written letters thanking them for taking care of their cars. These letters seem to be 20+ years or older.

THE BEST body shop I have ever needed. The service is far beyond your expectations. The quality is top shelf. I believed that service has fizzed out in this great country of ours but every time I have needed body or collision work, Lauren and his crew do it RIGHT! Completely and professionally. I can not say how satisfied I am with their work and family atmosphere. If I could give more than the 5 stars I would! Take my advice people, you will never go anywhere again for all your Paint and body needs. They ALSO do a fantastic job on detail work.

I was recommended to come here, and I was very happy with the service. They fixed my Honda Pilot on two separate occasions, and both times it was flawless. They even buffed out a boo-boo that was non-accident related for free (since they were already working on my car). The owner AND the front desk gal know what they are doing. Getting the insurance to cover the full cost of repairs—because they wouldnt at first—was handled by Import Paint & Body.Im glad I know about this local gem, and Id highly recommend to others.

I have had to take my vehicle here 2 times. The workmanship is incredible and the paint job was better than the factory paint. And to address their speed.... Yes, they are busy and take a little longer to finish the job but that is because Loren(owner) wont let the vehicle leave until he is happy and the fact that so many people use him he is stacked up. I would rather wait a little linger and know he didnt rush to fix the car than get it back and not be satisfied. He will always get my vehicles to repair

When my 2017 BMW 7 series was damaged in a hit & run there was no other place I considered going to for the repair. Loren & Audrey were absolutely awesome throughout the entire process, the whole team at Import was great. It looks like nothing ever happened to my car and there is no other shop that will ever repair a vehicle for me. I was referred there by multiple people and I will continue to refer people there for as long as I live in Charlotte.

I few years ago I took my 3 Series BMW there after a front-end collision. They have done an excellent job. What I appreciated was the fact that a few things were not done to my satisfaction initially. Rather than getting defensive like most places do, they owned it and got it right. Aweful Service!! This company doesnt give a dang about you unless you a big dealer. They are very slow in their response and their prices astronomical. The only thing that keeps these guys in business in because they are so close to all the dealers on independence. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.
