I found the shop on Google and I’m glad I went there. They had my car fixed in a timely manner and the prices were decent compared to the shop that I was going to go to originally. I’m happy to have found the shop, the staff is knowledgeable, very friendly and welcoming. I will be returning.

Ive had a few repairs there. Each time an accurate estimate was given and the car was truly fixed when I got it back. The repairs were complex repairs on Mercedes and land Rover. These guys are very smart and honest.

Customer service was impeccable! As a young woman it’s not often I go into a mechanic shop and receive awesome customer service but when I tell you this is my new go to auto shop. My car needed a new A/C compressor and they had no issue putting it on in an effective and timely manner. Shane, the mechanic, was very personable and worked with me on pricing and was just an overall good spirit. Thank you so much guys! I went to Tryon auto repair because my AC was not working and the car was making weird noises. They were able to fully diagnosed my car that day. I needed a new clutch and AC compressor. The repair was done early and Shane was great at communicating with me any issues/delays in the repair.The AC has never worked better and the clutch has never felt so smooth. I love my car again thanks to these guys! They are honest and they do great work! Highly recommend using them for all auto repairs!

Good Quality Service. The best Ive seen in Charlotte thus far. They explain in detail what is going on with your car. Ive taken multiple cars to them. Prices are always within reason.

I had a loose clip causing my splash guard to flap, the kind mechanic put my car on the lift, tighten the clip and had me ready to go within 15 mins. I have since referred several family members who are beyond satisfied with TAR services. I will continue to use this company for any needed vehicle repairs or maintenance. Hard working, honest company you can trust.

A fuse blew in my car and they replaced the fuse, but they couldn’t figure out why it blew. It took them about 3 or 4 days to finish and let us pick it up. A couple days after I picked it up, I drove it about 90 miles and a bunch of problems came up. First all the emergency lights on the dash came on. Then the parking break light came on and the car shifted into neutral multiple times within minutes. Overall, It seems like the problem wasn’t solved, communication was sup par and it took a long time to get my car back.

I went in for a diagnostic to see what was wrong. They were very kind and informative. They let me know exactly how much each issue would cost. Any questions I had, they were happy to answer. When it came time to do the work, I dropped my car off and they finished the work in a very timely manner. The amount I was quoted was actually more than I wound up paying. A lot of places would not have mentioned that, but here, theyre honest and hardworking. Theyll be getting my business from now on.

I recommend this shop they do high quality work at reasonable prices.My only compliant is that they really need a Drop Box for Car Keys. If my car breaks down after business hours and I need to get it towed there, there is no way for me to drop my key so they can begin work on car once they re-open. I dont want to leave my keys under your door mat, or inside my car to be stolen.Tryon Auto, please get after hours car key drop box! Otherwise thank you for your business.

I went here for a pre-purchase inspection for a car I was buying. They made an appointment for me on short notice- got me in promptly, and got the car in and out in 1.5 hours. Using their inspection I was able to negotiate with the dealer to replace the rear brakes prior to the sale of the car! Very friendly, professional and prompt folks. Highly recommend.

I ended up needing to have my car towed somewhere on a Friday night/early Saturday morning due to my alternator going bad. Typically I go to the AAA since Im relatively new to the Charlotte area but I was willing to try somewhere new that would hopefully get my car done in a quicker amount of time and for a lower cost. The customer service here was great & I was able to get my car fixed within the same day which has been unprecedented for me! I am super pleased with how everything went and will surely be able to count on coming back if I have any problems in the future.

First off coming from a woman who is always skeptical of getting mechanics to work on my car Tryon Auto Repair exceeded my expectations!!The staff was VERY nice and provided exceptional customer service.This place also offers things that I have NEVER experienced at any other mechanic shop.- I love the fact that they send you a text message with a link that has a full breakdown of what your car is in need of and everything that they have checked-They also provided a picture of my water pump that they changed showing me proof that my water pump indeed needed to be replaced. I LOVEDDDD THAT!!-They also followed up with me after the repairs to see how my car was running.I have never felt more comfortable taking my car back to a place like I do here! I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

I moved about an hour away from Charlotte. The only place I will take my car. The owner Osman and staff are honest and reliable. Will not try to sell you something you do not need. Depending on the time you get there, a day at most depending on the issue of your vehicle (if they need to order a part, it will not be delivered on the weekend--keep in mind). If you need a tow, they have a recommendation for a tow company, that is very reasonably priced, especially living an hour away!

I took my Ford Fusion to Capitol Ford. They had no idea what was wrong and wanted me to agree to $400-500 to start disassembling the car to try to figure it out. After a conversation where I was educated & informed, a test drive and a look under the car Tryon Auto found the issue. I was provided with pictures and details. They allowed me to order the part myself (the only place that had it immediately was Capitol Ford who wanted $240 for the same exact name brand part I got from Rock Auto for $140) and my car was ready the day the part arrived. Tryin Auto has a text communication system that is convenient and their invoice and payment systems are advanced but simple to use. I trust Tryon Auto with my future car services and will be recommending them to friends and family.

This is a nice place. People working here are very helpful & nice as well. I came here after reading good reviews and initially I felt it was worth 5 stars. However, my reason for the low rating is the unresolved issue that I came here for at the first place.Issue: My car was making squeaky/scratchy noise while using breaks. They suggested rotors and breaks change for all the tires and I went ahead with it.After new breaks & rotors: It was fine for the first 3-4 weeks and then I started getting the same noise. I went again as it has 1 year warranty. However, they mentioned that the parts are fine but the parts’ quality is not as good because I chose economy version (which was also not cheap by any means). I feel if economy parts are this bad & do not resolve the problem, then they should not sell it at all. Now, they suggested to replace the parts with higher quality ones but I have to pay difference for the parts (which is fair) but full labor charges too for the second time. I honestly would have gone with premium parts had I known that economy parts won’t resolve the problem. My only issue is that I still have the same problem (i.e. squeaky noise) that I had before spending all that money.Overall: I felt the people and all the workers are very nice & polite and they do care for customer satisfaction as they reach out to make sure the problem is resolved. However, it is very important to write the review based on if the problem is resolved that we go there for.I’m planning to go there again in a few days and will update the review accordingly.

I had my front brakes and rotors replaced as well as a new caliper. Tyron Auto quoted me half the price as the big name shops. They were very kind and professional, and got my car fixed in just a few hours. Highly recommend!

Over the past 6+ months my car has been in need of major and basically maintenance service. The service team have been great with helping me to prioritize what services needed to take place while maintaining optimal functioning of the car. On one ocassion I was OVER CHARGED and had not recognized it. To my Surprise I recieved a call regarding their error. Honestly I had not noticed, but they recognized the error and wanted to make it right with me. That Action of Integrity let me know Tryon Auto actually value their costumers. True professionalism.

Very professional from the time i dropped off my car to the time I picked it up, They did maintenance to my engine and truth be told now my car runs like they put a whole new engine in it. Then days after i picked my car up, the shop did a follow-up to see how my car was riding.. I would highly recommend this shop to any of my family members and friends.

Tryon Auto Repair is the most professional repair shop. They are honest and do excellent work. We took my wife’s BMW there and asked for a particular service that the dealership said we needed. We anticipated the cost being approx $800. Osman told us after inspecting the car, that this service was not needed at that time and the repairs that he noted as actually being needed ended up only costing $125. The car drove perfectly for the next year. How many mechanics would actually advise you not to make a repair or service that you are more than willing to do? Since then, we have taken all of our cars foreign and American to Tryon Auto. We are never disappointed with the quality and costs of our service. They are A++!

If I could do ZERO Stars I would. I called and inquired about a service PRIOR TO driving 30 miles ONE WAY and I was told that they could provide the service. I presented my paperwork BEFORE I PURCHASED THE GROUPON. Only to be told that the inspection could not be done after I had purchased the Groupon and my car had been pulled into their service area and me waiting in the lobby!!! Tripp took care of me in less than 40 minutes they did my inspection and oil change.

As other reviews have stated, they are some of the most honest mechanics in the area. They have some of the best prices around (I checked), and they also do extremely good work.I brought in front and rear brakes for them to install on my car. After looking at the car, they told me that I only needed front brakes, even after I had authorized both sets to be installed. This cut my installation cost in half.My car now stops better, and it cost me about one-fourth the price of the dealer.

Within a week of moving to Charlotte my car completely gave up on me. Osman and his group were so kind and helpful in a very stressful time. While diagnosing the issue they contacted me every step of the way to keep me updated. This was over a month and a half ago. Osman actually reached out to me today to make sure the car was still running fine! Top notch service! The young lady at the front desk was also super sweet and helpful. North Tryon Auto Repair is the only place Ill ever go for auto repairs!
