Bart took my bike in on short notice and fixed it up in time for me to participate in #BiketoberfestCLT (which was a blast!). He charged a fair price and did an excellent job. I definitely recommend seeing him at QueenCity Bicycles if you ever need yours fixed!

Great little bike shop in South End. Bart did a tubeless conversion and installed a front fork on my MTB. Fast work, easy communication and he put up with all my questions. Wont hesitate to take my bike there again 👍

Do you ever wonder why there are so few women in biking? Ive gone to 3 bike shops in Charlotte since moving into town, and 2/3 have made inappropriate comments or hit on me while I was trying to get my bike fixed. Gross, dudes. Queen City Bikes was the only one that treated me with respect and professionalism. Its a very small shop, but what they lack in parts and accessories they have in bikes. Lots of bikes. Theyve also got a kicker email newsletter with deals. Theyre in a great, accessible location with a huge bike rack. The clerk explained everything I needed when I asked and didnt just try to sell me the most expensive option - he let me decide for myself. They also are a part of Bike Benefits program and allow returns through it if you dont like something, no receipt needed - which is great, since I bought a new saddle and light from them and had time to test them and love them, guilt-free.

These guys helped me with every facet of the biking experience. I bought a bike a few months ago and brought it back in because the brakes started to squeal. They fixed it for me and shown me what they had done, all in a timely and professional manner. I couldnt have asked for a better experience both during the purchase and after.

Racism Racism Racism I’m black and Proud to be !!! I was advised I looked suspicious for being in the parking lot of this business this week ard 6:45pm daylight time . There was a end unit for rent with a sign at the window !!! Most normal ppl like myself would usually catch a view through the window to see the layout of the property !! But racism as I stated first played a big part of me viewing this property !! I was advised that I along with a female client of mines bc ive worked right across the street for 5 years now that we looked suspicious !!! I don’t know why ??? The owner later came back to say in defense of his friend Zoe that if we wanted to see the property we should of called the number listed in the window !! White Privilege felt we couldn’t just view like all the other ppl I’ve observed from across the street viewing !! They where calling the cops on us as if we had broke a law or something !!! I look suspicious ?? Let someone say it too you for no reason then you too will understand !! Wrong is wrong and I don’t support it !!!!!

Why are people so mean to black people over here. I was almost got hit by a bicyclist in his truck today in your parking lot. He looked at me as if I was worthless, and kept going.

Staff is friendly but when one of the tubes I bought from them had a leak, they made me buy a patch kit instead of replacing it. Patch kit didnt even work. Go somewhere else.
