Helped me choose my new bike after looking for months - incredible staff answered all of my questions and pointed me to the right selection. Added locks, water bottle holders, lights, etc. and they helped me in every single decision. Obviously experienced cyclists themselves and help other serious cyclists with their repairs, adds. Highly recommend if shopping for bike/parts/accessories.

Amazing bike store. Chris, the owner, is a fantastic guy to work with. I was able to get a new bike at an amazing price while all of the other stores were out of stock on that model. He also helped me with setting everything up and answered all of my questions. I can’t recommend this store highly enough.

Update(11.2.21): Ive been riding this perfectly tuned fit for months now. I have never felt more comfortable in aero or with my cycling dynamics. Finished IM North Carolima 70.3 last weekend and it was easily my best bike experience. Held aero nonstop and PRed my bike. I should have gotten a pro fitting 10 years ago.Ive been in and out of cycling over the past 10 years after racing a lot of triathlons I suffered several injuries and then had three kids. I decided that my midlife crisis would be a new triathlon bike, but I was new to the Charlotte Fort Mill area and didnt have a great local bike shop. Several people recommended Chris at uptown cycles, and I had an amazing experience with my retul fit. Chris spent 4 hours with me tweaking every angle, measurement and position. It was amazing to see how very small things can alter the overall geometry of my bike ride. Great shop. Great staff. Great service. (Picture is my bike at home not the retul process)

I am brand spanking new to the cycling community. Chris was so amazing with not only making my bike comfortable but also with answering all my questions (and I had a lot of them) to become better at cycling. He even helped me out with fitting a new saddle on my bike for a second go around. Cant say enough great things about my experience.

Ok I had over 800$ worth of bike service I needed on my MTB and I’m glad I didn’t give them my business. Lazy, incompetent.Closed on Tuesday for Easter that was on Sunday.Called em on Wednesday after 11am and it goes straight to voicemail, asking to text on a separate number.Finally got in touch with a guy named Isaac, asked a rough quote for full suspension rebuild and the guy sounds like a bro from high school.. can’t tell me anything. 60 bucks? 600 bucks? Gimme some idea, do you know anything about bikes?“Uh.. I don’t know our mechanic can call you but he’s not here today, he’ll be here on Friday and Saturday “What is this? Are you a running a business or volunteer service?Happy I didn’t leave my bike with them.

Very clean store however I brought my brand new bicycle for a tune up and get wheels balanced and brakes right. Before I brought it in there was a ticking/clicking noise coming from the rear and was still making the noise when I picked up the bicycle (Saturday) I rode for about 15-20 mins saturday and Sunday, I then called in on Tuesday and was advised this was an easy youtube fix by a man whose name begins with an A I believe Andre.

Great shop, Ive had several bikes worked on there and they finish in a timely manner and do a fantastic job. The mechanic I encountered on several occasions (Mitch) is a true bike enthusiast and works on bikes as if they were his own. Highly recommend.

Just completed my first Retul bike fitting with Chris. Great overall experience and well worth the investment. Chris is very knowledgeable and the session itself was highly educational for me. I rented a road bike from Uptown Cycles for my trek onto the Blue Ridge Parkway. Chris took plenty of time to help me dial in all of my measurements and make sure that I was good to go for several days of mountain riding. Very cool shop and great staff. Highly recommended.

What a great store ! I went to Uptown to buy nothing other than a pump and a multi tool. They treated me as though I was buying the most expensive bike in the store. Both sales people spent time with me and filled me in completely about what is going on in the bike world these days. They were excellent. Could not be more impressed!

After going to a few duds I am happy to find Tim and the guys at Uptown Cycles. Although I didnt buy my mountain bike from them they stood behind their manufacturers warranty and got my bike fixed and tuned properly where the original shop failed. I love this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They help me build my first bike and although there is a bike shop closer to me I prefer fighting 85 and 77 for these guys any day.

This place rocks! I had an annoying hard to find creak in my bike. Chris quickly jumped in to decipher the problem, parts ordered. Jeff finished the bike up and found that one last pesky creak. Its perfect and as quiet as a church mouse (presumedly quieter than a regular mouse??). Very very knowledgable and professional staff.

Best Bike Shop in the area, period. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my bike fit, Retuil and Chris are perfect! The computrainer classes there are always fun and kick my booty and the events and group rides they have range from helping newbies to elite racers. They even have a womens only group ride on Mondays that I LOVE! Get ready to feel like family at your LBS.

My brother and I went shopping for bikes. We rode a lot as kids on cheap bikes but wanted to upgrade to a hybrid bike. Needless to say we didnt know much. Ben and Ashley were very helpful and answered all of our questions. They were very patient, kind, and understanding. They worked very hard to get a bike from the warehouse to their store and built in one day. When there was a minor issue with the bike, Chris and Tim fixed the issue with no questions asked (except my name and contact info of course). Chris also helped me put together the bike rack I purchased from them. I am going to be a repeat customer.

I had a simple part to be ordered from one of their suppliers. They didnt sound like they wanted to help me with it at all. I called back a couple of time checking on it. The first person was quite rude on the phone. When I called back to check on the stasis of the part. The sales person said the other guy was the one I needed to talk to. Asked for a call back. Never heard from him. I did this a couple of times.I finally called another shop in Cary to order the part and I had it within 2 weeks.BAD SERVICE FROM UPTOWN CYCLES.

I brought these guys my new MTB for assembly and immediately was sold on this shop. Out of the gate Jason was working with me on pricing for my racks, even helping me out on MSRP to get within my budget. These are professional dudes who clearly know the sport and will help you make solid decisions. When I got a little out of hand on the new whip and took a heavy crash, they not only worked with me to fix my existing wheel set but gave me options on other sets that would fit my riding style. No pressure sales and high cycling IQ = killer bike shop. As an online deal hunter I still find its worth every penny to deal with local businesses you can trust and will go out of their way when youre in a pinch. Try the computrainer classes too!
