I was in the middle of a 3 week cycling and camping trip when my seat and drivetrain started to make horrible noises after a particularly nasty gravel ride. I was near Charlotte and called 5 bike shops, but nobody could fit me in. Finally, I reached The Bike Gallery and they told me to stop by and they would see what they could do. The owner and another experienced mechanic stopped what they were doing, asked all about our trip, and then quickly diagnosed the issues. They cleaned/tightened up the drive-train and seat. Got both properly lubed and had me on the way in 30 minutes. Then, to cap it all off, they told me that the service was on the house for stranded travelers! Ill definitely be stopping again when I am in the area.

Just a really nice place. A few days before Christmas, my son and I walked through the shop. My son positively fell in love with one of the bikes and I decided to buy it. Well, it was a Christmas present for him so I had to inconspicuously buy it during the visit. We had to keep everything on the down low. Donnie, the employee who sold the bike to me, inconspicuously took my credit card and charged it. In perfect stealth mode, he brought the paperwork to me to sign. We were outside the store and he let me use his back as a signature pad. Really cool. My son had no idea. The owner, not sure of his name, knew exactly what was happening. When my son finished test riding the bike, the owner took the bike and put it back up on the display rack to make my son think it was still for sale. My son asked the owner if they could hold it for us to buy and the owner said “I will do my best to hold it but if somebody comes in who wants to buy it, I have to sell it. We can’t hold bikes for very long.” During his reply, he gave me a look as if to say “I got your back, dad. Merry Christmas and I appreciate what you’re doing with your son.“ I returned the next morning to pick up the bike. Andres, I think he is the owner’s brother, went over every detail, nook and cranny of the bike with me. They treated me like royalty. All this to say that the overall experience was beyond five stars. It’s just a really cool place with an inviting atmosphere. Check it out. You will be pleased. Oh yeah - that shiny new bike we purchased is now caked with dried mud, as every mountain bike should be. Thanks, Bike Gallery.

My Dad had a seat post issue with a bike purchased elsewhere. The young man there took a quick minute and fixed it at no cost, which we werent expecting, but are grateful for.This shop does repairs and sales both bikes and bike accessories. Price point trends higher, but so does bike quality and grade of service. Nice shop. Excellent service. Safe atmosphere.

My husband and I went in to The Bike Gallery without a single bit of knowledge about bikes. We told them what we wanted and they sure did deliver. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and the guys who work there were super knowledgeable. They showed us our options, compared pricing, looked up different colors to see if any were being delivered in the coming days, let us take a joy ride and test out our new toys. Once purchased, the manager personally put our bikes in his van and delivered to our house so we didn’t have to make two trips.Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. True Bicycle experts. Awesome service, no hard sell or haggling. I upgraded to a Scott from my Trek and would never look back. After years of being a Trek guy, being treated rudely at the Trek store for years, and being nickel-and-dimed every time I took my bike in for service, I decided to give Bike Gallery a shot. My new bike feels like a Rocket Ship compared to the old Trek. I shredded a tire on some glass and brought the bike in for a new tire and tube. I didnt know they were closed for remodeling, but they pulled the tools outside onto the sidewalk and still repaired my bike. You have to love that. Awesome guys all around. I highly recommend.

Andreas was awesome. They were absolutely slammed with calls and customers but made the time to make minor repairs to one of my bikes on the spot and schedule repairs for the other bike. Professional and all around awesome. I will go here over the other shops that are closer to my house from now on.

Happy to support a family owned business that cares about their customers and provide a great service. They were very helpful with my wife and I in selecting bikes. The wife and I purchased bikes about a year ago for trail ridding in Charlotte and so far we have enjoyed the bikes without any problems. Mine needs to go back in now for a bottom bracket issue that has been progressively getting worse since I have owned the bike, keeps getting tighter. It’s time to have both bikes serviced as well since we never took them in for their 150 mile service check. We probably have around 1000 miles or more on them now.The service was great and they all have a vested interest in the business, family owned and operated. Great shop and really nice group of people working there with lots of knowledge.I recommend this business.

I went to Bike Gallery just too get a bib and the man rudely said I needed appointment just to purchase a bib. When I went in the store about 2 weeks ago with no problem. Not going there anymore and I will tell everyone I know not too go there as well.

Today I had the most wonderful experience thanks to Mr. Christian Lizarazo. I was able to find the perfect fit for my girlfriend (a Raleigh Gravel Bike) to ride with me. In doing so, we upgraded the tires to a far better pair. Overall, the total cost for a brand new gravel bike with top tier tires was $150 under my projected expense and budget.The quality of service provided by Christian was phenomenal. He shared with us his vast knowledge of the specific model, as well as the physics behind the machine itself.Furthermore, this is a multigenerational family owned small business. This is exactly where I like to put my investments. Now that we have her perfect fit, through the Bike Gallery we won’t have to worry about ever paying a dime for the most basic maintenance. Even their more advanced maintenance is very affordable compared to anything else I’ve ever seen.If you’re reading this and considering stopping by... DO IT!

Have yet to do business with them, BUT this FAMILY owned business was very friendly, helpful, truly know what the sell and service.My brother was shopping for a particular brand whereas I want my bike serviced. I have a fairly modern Mongoose which definitely not what they were in the late 70s. Unlike the previous shop I inquired at, they didnt snub my questions.They know everything about what they sell, and the estimate I was quoted was right around what I was expecting.Ill update after my bike gets repaired

Came in right before close (unknowingly) to look for a helmet. Rather than tell me that they were closing, the owner took 15 minutes to show me the selection that was within my target price range. He gave me plenty of space to decide if I liked one and I walked out with a great new helmet. Would definitely recommend Bike Gallery for anyone that is in the market to buy a new bike or gear.

This family is great. Super professional, not pushy at all, and educated. Cleaned up and rehabbed and validated an old mountain bike I had - when they easily could have gone a different direction for a new sale. First 30 day window to get free adjustments is another great perk. 5 Stars for sure.

Great experience! A neighborhood bike shop offering good pricing and friendly atmosphere! After 10 years I decided to get back into riding. Both Al and his son Andres were extremely helpful. Their prices are very reasonable and in the case of repairs, I found them cheaper than those franchises. Not only did they get me the best rack for my Mini Cooper, they showed me how to install it.They are the quintessential small business offering good service, competitive pricing with a warm, friendly spirit.

LOVE these guys, their friendly nature, and warm atmosphere of the shop. They take the time to explain everything you need to know as a new rider and dont try to upsell you an overly expensive bike. They arent like the over-pretentious hipster douches you see at other bike shops that look at you like youre homeless if you arent planing to drop 1000 on a bike.

I popped in this afternoon to get an opinion on my 10 year old Lemond road bike. Cisco was great to deal with, and was not pushing for a sale. Gave me honest feedback, and spent 15 minutes going over my bike. Great retail bike store, and will definitely breed loyalty to newcomers.

Do you ever wonder why there are so few women in biking? This is why. Ive gone to 3 bike shops in Charlotte since moving into town, and 2/3 have made inappropriate comments or hit on me while I was trying to get my bike fixed. Creepy store clerks make me feel gross as hell. Can you keep it professional?? I was looking for a new helmet, and I wanted to try one on, and the store clerk WOULD NOT keep his hands off of me. I repeatedly told him, Ive got it, Ive got it, no, I know how to put it on, you dont need to do this, I can do it etc. He kept touching my face and neck while trying to adjust the helmet.Otherwise the shop is really small and crowded, small selection. Would have gotten 4 stars if it wasnt for the harassment.

Man where do i start this place is unbelievable it is awesome they brought my bmx bike back to life and billy man he is cool this place is the hook up unless you want to go where they treat you like crap like other shops i have gone and if i wasnt buying a trek they didnt want to deal with me but the bike gallery man it is a blessing.
