Took my Nissan GT-R there to get a Nee tire put on. Darren was great. I’m definitely getting all of my cars serviced here going forward
Mechanics charged me for expensive parts for my car that I specifically asked them not to buy. I took my car in to get 4 new tires and knew that I also needed new lugnuts, so I went to Advance Auto Parts and bought a pack of 20 for $35. I told the mechanics that I was providing the lugnuts and that I knew the lug nuts I bought would not support my hubcaps and was okay with that. I was in the shop for the entire 3 hrs it took to service my car and they ordered new expensive lugnuts that cost $12 each without asking me. When I asked why, they lied and said the lugnuts I had bought didnt fit my car so they charged me $170 for lugnuts I didnt want. I went back to Advance Auto Parts to confirm that the lugnuts I had bought were the right size and asked Jim at Mavis to change them for me and refund me. He tried to cover up his lie before reluctantly agreeing to refund me and use the lugnuts I provided if I came back the next day, which I did. I didnt appreciate them not asking me before buying the expensive lugnuts, lying about my lugnuts not fitting, and giving me backlash when I called them out on their dishonesty. At least in the end they did refund me when I returned.
I would be cautious of getting any brake work done at this shop. I brought the car in to get my rear drum brakes done. I went to pick up my car later that day and Jim told me the brakes simply needed to be adjusted and cleaned. He told me that they were serviceable and in good shape. That evening my brakes started making more noise than before. I called back spoke to Jacob and he instructed me to bring the car back. I dropped the car off and received a phone call telling me the brakes were worn and had a large lip and needed to be replaced. Even after the first visit while being told the brakes and materials were fine I reluctantly paid 353.46 to have the brakes replaced. How less than a week later the rear brakes are once again making noise. I called the shop back and Jim told me they will take a look. So now I will be without a car for a third time and paying for ubers once again. A reputable shop would not have to take three tries to complete a brake job.
Great business! Was able to fit me in to a busy day and repair my tire in no time! Always receive great customer service and quick work from this location
Found out that I got a nail in a tire (got a low tire pressure light) and they didn’t charge me anything (YES!) great place, I can recommend them, and kudos to Hector from the Spartanburg store who came to help out. Thanks again for your help in keeping this lady on the road safely.
They are amazing. I love the people that work there. They are very honest and get the work done quickly. Especially love Jim!!!
Amazing experience! after getting my tire changed twice from the same shop I finally came here and had the best brakes put on my car ever! tylor trego was very polite and helpful throughout the session. Definitely would come here again for any other problems!
I scheduled a same day appointment at Mavis in December 2020 to have a flat tire repaired. They quickly repaired my tire and 8 months later I haven’t had any issues with it. Very professional and I will definitely be back should I need any tire service in the future.
I was about to be taken advantage of by a nationally recognized company. I fortunately came to Mavis and they told me I did not need 2 new tires. They fixed my tire and I was on my way. Thanks to Hector and Jim.
Great staff here, they looked at my vehicle and gave me upfront and honest information which I appreciate.
Mavis Tires and Brakes not only did a great job repairing my car, but were also super timely and communicative during the process. Glad I found my go to spot in Charlotte!
Great staff....friendly and honest and helpful
Booked same day, went few hours after and was able to get my new tire just less than an hour. Great prices, fast and efficient service. For me the best part is I was able to get it done for such a short time frame so I didn’t have to wait for an appointment and drive on my spare time for another few days. Never going to another place for any sort of tire problems. Thank you.
Fixed my flat for super cheap. Very happy with their service.
Tyler at Mavis knows his stuff. Good deals and easy to work with.
Tylor Trego was just the best! He fixed my tire after 3 dealerships couldn’t help. Thank you Tylor!
These guys are amazing. Another location sent me to the dilworth location and they were awesome. They werent able to help me with my dodge because if the overheating problem but they made sure i was safe to drive home. Jacob put coolant in my thing and gave me his cell phone and i had to drive 3 hours back home. I only made it 2 hours and was stranded on the highway but Jacob went out of his way to drive to me and give me and my kid a ride home and was able to fix my car overnight, even though i sold it 2 days later. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!
Had a repair quoted at my normal shop and it was $1500 and they needed two weeks to get the parts in and they wanted a $300 down payment. I called Jim for a second opinion and he fixed the issue within 24hrs for $500. I was treated with respect the whole time, no up selling ever and the truck was finished on time. Im very satisfied with this shop!
This place was absolutely the best!!! Very professional, on point and educated about there business which is very important to any customer. It feels good to walk in a shop, particularly like this one!! and technician explain in detail about your co cern on your vehicle. Thank you Mavis!! Defitnetly be back.....soon for tires.
Jim and Billy came in CLUTCH with my tire service. They’re the absolute bees knees. Cute too!
First time customer. Came in for flat tire/tire replacement. Popular service provider so had a 1-2 hour wait. Wi-Fi was provided so was able to utilize while being serviced. Also offers coffee. Guy at the front was great, gave honest quotes for tires. I checked around, found that I could find cheaper tires elsewhere but was won over by service. Would recommend to anyone in Dilworth/Southend area.
Called ordered my sons tires and scheduled an appointment time for the next day, when asked they said a couple hours for install. Dropped the car off the next day, on time, and asked again what time can we pick it up, we were then told it would be end of day, they were short staffed. Fortunately, my son and I were both off this day, so it was just an inconvenience at that point. Received a call from the Mavis shop at 5:35 with the manager telling me that those were reverse mount rims on his car and they could not get them done before closing, mind you, they had the car since 12 noon and just now looking at it at 5:30. Needless to say they kept it overnight to do the install the next day, but at this point the damage has been done, a day wasted sitting around waiting and then having to figure out work travel for my sons next day. Dont waste your time at this Mavis location, it didnt even look like a reputable tire shop, more like the car wash that it shared the building with.
Didn’t even know this shop was here but it’s a diamond in the rough. These are know their stuff!!
Got me in right away and took care of all issues promptly.
Quick service and great follow up! Highly recommend
This place is absolutely a sham. They charged over 1100$ to fix the breaks and rotarys on my vehicle and theres still squeeling when the truck is in motion. They charged 650.00 to fix the ignition and the steering wheel was crooked and the horn no longer works. Then had the audacity to say well I dont know that your horn wasnt broke before. Do not take you vehicle here these people are incompetent in mechanic knowledge
Excellent and friendly service every time with the best prices!
Jacob and Anderson worked hard and fit me in for four new tires and an alignment, got it done earlier than expected, and juggled all their other customers without a hitch. And kudos to the mechanics behind the scene
Hector was great and described the different options I had with repairing my brakes. Broke down all pricing before so I was not surprised by any unexpected fees.
This is the worst company to do business with. I had something fixed with this company in the past and turns out it was installed wrong which led to other car issues. They told me that I would have to pay to have the installment fixed even though they are the ones who messed it up. The employees are also very rude and make up blatant lies when you speak to them. Avoid them at all costs.
Great prices and great service
They did a great job on my car. They were friendly, made excellent recommendations, and got rid of this horrible sound my car has been making for months. No one else was able to tell me what it was attributed to! And they’re very reasonably priced. Thanks guys!
Sorry I forgot the name of the guys there today, but they were awesome! Had to replace two of my tires and they were able to put new ones on for me. Very decent prices for the tires as well. They were a little understaffed today but I appreciate all the hard work they did to help me and I couldn’t be more thankful! I’ve never had a bad experience with Mavis no matter what location and I highly recommend!
Awesome service, friendly people, amazing overall experience and we will definitely be back for all our auto needs as well as referrals to friends and family. Jim is so knowledgeable and personable. Thanks again for the tremendous treatment 😊
They were great. They didnt have my tire in stock so they found one comparable. Great price and great service.
I took my partners car in for brakes and an oil change. I was given and estimate of $30-70 for an oil change and some ridiculous price for brakes and rotors prior to them even removing the tires. I told them to call prior to doing any work. They did, and I gave the okay for the front brakes and rotors. I never received a quote or options for the oil change. Get back to pick the car up and was told the oil change was completed. The oil was black..... I have NEVER paid $70 for an oil change and I NEVER will again. This place is all about the 💰 and not very upfront and honest. We live and learn
They do good work and the prices are reasonable. The car wash next door is good also.
I would give zero stars if possible. Got a flat tire that was quickly losing air, made it to Mavis just to be treated horribly. I asked if they could service my tire in any way, I mentioned I was stranded 25 miles from home. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only did he say they were completely busy (when they clearly were not) and couldn’t patch or plug my tire but he even said they didn’t have time to merely change it with my spare. Being new to driving I have never dealt with a situation like this and now I know I will never return to Mavis for my future issues. luckily I made it a mile down the road to SATTO tire services where i explained my situation and was quickly helped. The process took less than 2 minutes for them to take off and plug my tire. I do not recommend visiting this Mavis unless you want to be treated like chopped liver.
Completely ruined my wheel and charged over $150 for bending my tire, scratching my rim, left me with one less lug-nut and my alignment completely off (my whole car is shaking now). They did not tell me the price before charging my credit card a total of $955. Do not go here, they are EXTREMELY unethical.
Extremely dishonest people. I would not recommend going here. I brought my car in for a simple front brake pad and rotor replacement and not only did the employees damage my front calipers (which caused me to have to get my car towed to another auto shop and an additional $500), but they claimed I needed a $4000 “ABS unit,” which was complete and absolute nonsense. I would give this place a negative rating if I could. (Standby because I did contact the BBB.)
I had a great experience at this location. I ordered my tires on the stores website and was informed when they arrived. My repairs were completed faster than communicated and the price was what I had been told.
I just went to MAVIS today and was very impressed. I had front and back brake pads and rotors replaced and the price was half of what I expected it to be. The staff was friendly and I felt like they really had my best interest at heart! The service was fast. I never write reviews, but wanted to share my experience since it was so positive!!
My local repair shop and testing station.
These guys are great! I had my second visit with them today and they never disappoint. Their service and prices are excellent. Also, a huge thank you to Jim for working me in last minute today!
Super friendly place, took both my cares there.
So I went in for a basic plug on my passenger rear tire, unfortunately there was a shard of metal in the side wall, no sweat, stinks I have to buy a new tire, but no worries. I grabbed my tire and went to make some calls. Luckily for me, Michelin gave me the goodwill treatment, and hooked up a great discount for a new tire. This is where it gets shadyyyyyy, dishonest, and unprofessional. So I go back to see “Jim” and let him know the situation. Fortunately, Michelin makes it super easy for the retail shop, and they called ahead to make it easy for everyone. Jim tells the representative on the phone that he is NOT an authorized Michelin dealer, and hasn’t been in over 3 years. (Michelin just doesn’t update their website) ugh. Feeling cringe yet?? It gets better. So Mavis is supposed to give me the 50% off credit in store, and send the rebate in to Michelin, to which Michelin would credit Mavis back, 50% of the transaction. Again, NOPE. Jim says nah, he isn’t an authorized dealer. So rather than Mavis dealing with the rebate, I get to pay full price, then send in receipts, and wait 4-6 weeks for the mail-in-rebate. Buttttt waiiiiiit! There’s more!!!! So this morning, I am kind of more disappointed and mad that I was blatantly lied to, to my face. So I call the # that the “owner response” gives to bad reviews, you know, to rectify the situation before I go in to get my new tire out on. Kennedy, at customer call center, also understood that Mavis is 💯 a Michelin authorized dealer. She calls Jim, Jim says “if it was bought here we would handle it”. What?!?! Dude. It’s a Michelin tire. This is through Michelin. Bad bad bad business practice. I for sure will not be going back to ANY Mavis, ever. Do better. Train your people. Stop lying. Thanks.FrankFromMaine
I had an alignment subscription that I had bought when they were still Griffin Brothers.Dropped my car off to have it aligned after getting new tires at another place. They called several hours later to let me know it was done. I was suspicious that they had not done it because my car was in the exact same place and my seat was not moved (I’m pretty short, and have NEVER) had a mechanic return my car with the seat pulled up to where I set it).Took it to Lexus to have them check it - and the job had clearly not been done.Loved it under the old ownership but won’t be going back now
Ive been going here for a while now for oil changes and tire rotations. Service and communication is always good. Ive had brakes and other mechanical work done as well and have always been happy with the work.
Would not return for further business, likely to get ripped off. I hoped this would be a good shop as it is across the street from my home and is convenient. Had car inspected, they found exhaust leak, quoted me 3 hrs labor to change the exhaust manifold gasket, this is unreasonably high, definitely dishonest, looked to be the manager who gave me this quote. I took the car home and addressed the issue myself. Returned the car for a reinspection, told to come back tomorrow at 9am, came back at 9am and said no one was available for inspections until afternoon. Unprofessional/poor communication. Took car elsewhere.
Super courteous, even noticed a missing lug bolt and notified me.I would highly recommend them!
Don’t waste your time.Made an appointment to get an oil change. Brought my car in, and they said about an hour. One hour later they said 45 more minutes, “we had to order a filter”. Now I’ve been here over 2 hours, but don’t worry, they said they’re just “finishing up” about 20 minutes ago.Don’t waste your time.
Warning—Bait and switch seems to be policy here!!!Initially called & got quote for tires installed tax and out the door - $650. Got to appt and price had gone up to $930. Jim made us feel really uncomfortable going as far as saying that the additional cost were to realign our specific Ford backup camera because we got new tires.Seriously a nightmare!!!! Be ware and stay away!!
Worst experience ever.
Went in for some tires, Chris Wilcox was very helpful and friendly. He made me feel at home, he is a great person to have in your company. Thank you for all your help
BEWARE OF VERY HIGH/UNREASONABLE PRICING. First of all, Ive had some really great experiences over the past year at this place - and the folks are really nice and seem to do good work. So this isnt a bad review for the service I received or the quality of the repair. Its a bad review because it seems like they are unreasonably higher in repair costs when compared to other places.I found out the hard way that these guys had charged me DOUBLE OR MORE for the same repairs/service I received from another mechanic. I had a situation recently where I needed the bearing replaced in my right rear wheel. I was charged over $600 by MAVIS for this repair. After getting the car back we noticed that the other rear wheel also was making bearing noises. I took the vehicle to another mechanic for this repair and they replaced the bearing in the other rear wheel (same car, same parts) for half of the MAVIS price. Instead of over $600 - they charged me $290. Mavis charged me $280 just for the bearing part; the other mechanic charged me $110.00 for that same new manufacturer, make, and model specific bearing/part.I also got a quote from MAVIS to repair a broken door lock (required a new actuator). MAVIS wanted $600 for the repair and I turned that down. This other mechanic charged a little over $300 for that repair. Out of curiosity - I called the dealer service department for a quote for this repair just to compare - and they wanted $490. MAVIS was going to charge more than a dealer service department. Not something I wouldve expected. Now at this point I was feeling a little irritated that I was somehow cheated - so I looked through the invoices from Mavis for other recent repairs and I see odd/questionable charges (tools, bolts, misc. shop supplies, machine-shop charges). Also, in all cases where Ive had a repair - the price estimated on the phone ends up being around 80%-90% of the amount actually charged. Just some questionable techniques Ive encountered in my recent visits here.Look, I know that MAVIS may have much higher overheard and expenses - and they are certainly much larger than the other mechanic I used. And honestly, because of the convenience of their location and quick-turnaround, I wouldnt have posted this bad review if their costs for repairs were even 20% more. But I just felt like their pricing was entirely unreasonable for these repairs and that you potential customers should be aware of this possibility.
New Name. Great Place. Full Service Shop. I go there for ALL my car needs and so does my husband. Very Honest, Reasonable, Efficient. Highly Knowledgeable Staff. The manager Jim always answers all my questions. I live across town but find it worth my time to drive there for everything car related. With two older cars it’s not always news I want to hear but always FAIR pricing. 😊 Major Repairs Tires & Oil Changes. Bonus: the Absolute Best Car Wash in town is literally right there too! Separate Business but they work together! LOVE!
I had a nail in my tire, but it couldn’t be patched because it was too close to the edge. Ryan was very informative and helpful. He even put my spare tire on. Thanks for the great service, Ryan!
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This is the most unprofessional, disrespectful place I have ever dealt with in my life!! They use junk parts and wouldnt even honor their own warranty to replace them. I had to go somewhere else to get the work done and luckily he got the parts warranted through his company. Thank you to NTB in Lake Wylie for standing up and doing the right thing! This Mavis on Park Rd. should be shut down. Worst experience I have ever had in my life, will never come here again . I wouldnt trust these guys to do anything to my vehicles!!!!!👎🤬
If your looking for honesty and good work this is the place, if you want it done quick this not the place for you! Have someone to drop you off or call Uber, it will be worth it! T talks to you when he checks you in, explains what they will be doing offers other services without the pressure! I had never heard of Mavis Discount Tire until I found them on Google! They have great prices and great customer service!
I just moved here from out of town and really needed a good place to get my car serviced. After speaking with some of my neighbors I took my car to Summerfield Auto on Park Rd. What a great place to do business with, very please with the repairs done. These guys are good at what they do. They called me with an estimate and was able to complete the work same day. It is refreshing to find a place to repair my vehicles that will get it done the right way! Thanks guys
Terrible customer service. A representative made me an appointment to come around 3:30 or 3:45. I left work early to drive 30 minutes to arrive on time. I waited in the office for 15 minutes with no response, until finally I was told that there was no availability and I’d have to reschedule.A few weeks ago, my wife was also told she had to purchase new shocks or they would not pass the inspection. We’ve now come to find out from another mechanic that this was illegal. We will never return. STAY AWAY.
Ryan is the MAN!!! I had a nail in my tire, I went to Nissan this morning to get my maintenance done and they told me that I needed to pay over $200 for a new tire and the labor and that the air was leaking from my tire. I called my boyfriend and he said that was bs, so I came here to get a tire for cheaper. Come to find out, not o my was my tire NOT leaking, the nail hadn’t even penetrated my tire! The whole time I thought the nail was keeping the air in, but there was no hole!! Come here! Especially if you are a woman. They take care of you, and they aren’t just tying to con you for your money. Oh... and did I mention Ryan is amazing?? Give that man a raise!
This place is great! The staff members who helped me were polite, fast and so friendly! Less than 5 minutes after I got there, they were already working on my car! The dealership I had taken it to for scheduled maintenance had told me I needed new rear brakes. The technician at Tire Engineers checked it and told me that I didnt--that I still had some time left with the ones I had! Instead of just replacing the brakes and charging me for something my car didnt need, they actually were honest! I really and truly appreciated that so much!!
This is a review of Mavis Discount Tire on Park Rd.Brought a flat tire in and had it repaired a few hours later. Ryan was professional and friendly. They remounted the tire and its been holding pressure since. Charges were very reasonable. Very happy I decided to use a local service.
I am absolutely disgusted by the customer service experience I was informed of today and if I could give this establishment a 0 star rating, I would without hesitation. My mother used this Mavis location to have a starter replacement done last week. My mother has been a longtime Mavis customer at a different location, but chose to use this one due to location convenience. When she went to pick up her car after the starter repair was completed, her car radio was no longer working. My mother was upset by this as she had not dropped the car off in this condition. The ONLY thing that needed to be done was to have the started replaced. She spoke to a customer service rep, Ryan, who was not able to explain what happened, but he told her that if she would purchase a new radio from Best Buy, that they would put it in for her. She did this immediately and returned the next day. Ryan began the install only to find out that she needed a cable part to go along with the radio. My mother was upset that she had not been told this the day before, but still went to Best Buy and bought the cable needed. She returned to Mavis, Ryan, again, was unable to repair the radio. He came back out and spoke to my mother and simply told her that he doesnt know what is wrong but that he was unable to fix the radio. My mother was upset by this as she had not brought her car this way and had now made 2 trips across town and back to purchase additional pieces for something that was not damaged when she brought the car in. The office manager, Jim, came out into the lobby with a handful of excuses, but ultimately, my mother was told that the radio could not be fixed. My mom went back out to her car. There was another mechanic putting the pieces back together before she was going to drive the car off the lot so my mom sat in the backseat and closed the door while the mechanic continued to work. Out of nowhere, not having seen my mother, Ryan, the original mechanic came out to speak to his colleague. He leans through the driver side window, not knowing my mother is in the backseat of the car. He presumed to have a discussion with his coworker in which he said OMG, this customer is such a f****** b****! She is getting this radio job done for free and we dont even service car radios. His coworkers said Oh, you mean the customer that is sitting in the backseat of the car?. Ryans face went blank as he realized that my mother was sitting in the backseat.A whole row broke out between my mother and Ryan, the service manager, Jim, got involved. Neither man apologized for their remarks. Neither man accepted responsibility for damaging my mothers radio. Neither man apologized for the major inconvenience and disrespect that was caused. My mother already spoke to the corporate office team and I hope that Mavis Tires takes the appropriate action, but I am so perturbed by the whole ordeal that I felt the need to write this review so that people in this neighborhood know what kind of establishment this is. Ryan should be ashamed of himself for speaking about a woman in this way. For referring to a paying customer in these terms. For just being an absolutely impolite non-gentleman. I feel so offended by this entire story and I want to save anyone else the potential hassle of dealing with people like this.Customer service counts for something and in a world where customer service means so much, you would think these men would get a clue and know how to treat women. Shame on you, Ryan. Shame on you, Mavis. I hope something gets done about this.
Summerfield was as good as can be for me. I had some trouble starting my car, made an appointment, and then could not start the car at all. Summerfield sent out a mechanic and tow truck to double check if it could be started (it could not) and then towed it at a very reasonable price. They got back to me immediately when they found the problem (a mouse nest under the engine cover) and gave an exact quote for repair. They also performed all the required vehicle maintenance, made sure my car was ready for a long trip, and even washed it for free.Summerfield is helpful, courteous, and honest.
If zero stars were an option mavis would get that. I had a 12pm appointment for a new tire to be installed. At 10.50am Jim called me to tell me my tire has arrived, I thought great this place has it together and this should be a quick change. ....well not so luck!!! Left my car there and had zero response from the shop all day. 4pm I call them and am told it will be ready in 40 mins. I arrive at 4.45 and NOTHING has been done to the car, spare tire still on 😱Jim outright lies to me and says my tire only arrived at 3 when HE was the one to call me at 11 saying it’s in. Apparently for the last 40 minutes the state inspection computer wasn’t working with my car, but miraculously worked when I arrived.A courtesy call during the day to let a customer Know of the issues would be appreciated or at least don’t let the greed ofMoney overtake you in overbooking and let you customer service go down.I will NEVER return to this place as who wants to be lied to and have the lowest customer service?
Had two flat tires so had my car towed down the street here instead of my normal shop which is farther. Took all day to look at it, called and quoted me $340 for two tires... i drive a subcompact with go cart sized tires... went in and explained that, told them to give me their best price and they wouldnt budge. Had it towed to my normal shop $112 with installation and tax on my two new tires. Was half the cost after paying a tow to get it done elsewhere. You would have to be a lunatic to pay their prices here. The only reson they have a decent google rating is because they inherited the old shops ratings . If you are not wise to the cost of car maintenance and repair these guys will take you for a ride.
Easy, friendly. Would return :)
There are very friendly staff, very informative and always have a smile on their faces. I will always return for any car problems I have !
Weve been bringing our 3 vehicles here for years for state inspections, car washes/details, & unexpected maintenance. excellent service! no complaints!
Purchased new tires here and made an appointment on my lunch break. I sat for TWO hours for them to change 2 tires with an appointment. The staff was nice but they really should work of the scheduling. Very inconvenient and unprofessional.
Brought my car in to get new tires and alignment (they also found suspension issues). After $2000 +, I got new tires, alignment and fixed the suspension problem. After which, I felt some shaking so, brought it back. After about a week they tell me the engine is shot (the car is worth approx $4000). They quoted a new engine at $5000 - $7000. Im thinking, well junkyard. I take it to get a second opinion, where they say ....NO, its fine. After a $400 repair, all is well. Ive been driving it for 2 months now and it runs like a champ!!!! Are the engineers incompetent or are they running a Racket?!!!! You decide.
Went to Summerfield for the first time recently and the entire experience was great. Having lived in Charlotte for 7 years Ive been to many shops and this will be my new one from here on out. I needed brakes done and the process from quote to completion was only 2 hours. Prices were competitive but Id pay a premium for the service.
These guys take care of me. Ive never had an issue with my services. Conveniently located and Im always happy with the quality as well as my service wait time. Not long at all. Had many issues with Sears so a tow truck driver mentioned I try Summerfield. Grateful to have listened to his suggestion.
Had a great experience at this location, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Always have had great service and advice. Its hard to find honest mechanic shops. Summerfield is definitely in that category.Always get in and out with a minimum wait.I will continue to reccomend and use them.
Simply the best! My entire family has been coming here for years. They are consummate experts and fair in pricing.
I have been taking my car to get serviced at Summerfield for years. Rozel and Trent who work there epitomize customer service. Theyve caught problems on my car the dealership missed and their rates are much better! I go here for every oil change, inspection, or anytime I have an auto question. Great customer service!
This place is a total joke. Dropped my car off for new tires on a Tuesday morning, came back on a Thursday afternoon and they hadn’t even touched it. No explanations, no apologies, nothing. Get it together and at least pretend to act like a real business, guys.
Easy location off Park Road near Dilworth. Car wash next door. Way more convenient than taking cars to dealerships off of Independence! The company keeps changing names, but the staff remains the same. Tires and Maintenance a breeze. Definete neighborhood reccommendation.
Great place and wonderful staffShout out to Ryan, Adam, Juan and Jim
Great and efficient service.
My last experience at this place was horrible! The customer service was at an all time low. I received a subpar oil change and didn’t receive any general information about my car afterwards. I will not be back to patronize this business!
I have been bringing my cars to summerfield for more than 5 years now. Out of all of the experiences I have had with other places, I will only come here. They are honest, reliable, and friendly.
Since moving back to Charlotte in 2010, Summerfield Auto has been the only people to touch my vehicles. The shops are clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and their customer service will not be beat. I will not refer to anyone else for automotive needs.
Pre travel Tire pressure check found one lower than others. Got TE to check and found nail at side wall. Not repairable and our departure time was 30 min. so they found one, picked it up while we loaded car at home then installed within an hour of discovery. That is ASAP Customercare
My wife got a quote recently for replacement of the front struts and sway bar link. These guys quoted $224 for an OESpectrum strut. The highest price I could find anywhere on the net for this part was $99. That is a 125% markup. The OEM part from the dealer was only $159! I thought maybe it was a typo. Then I checked the quoted price for the sway bar link, $155.72. Sure enough, price for the part from the dealer... $66.40 (33.20 Ea)! Another 135% markup! I think you can understand why they deserve one star. Avoid at all costs!
They keep up with the history of my car and its maintenance schedule. They do only essential work. Reliable and prompt service.
Place is a scam. Dont trust Mavis!!! They have quotas to hit and will lie to you to meet the numbers. Some of the things they lie about are brake fluid flushes, power steering flushes, coolant flushes, brakes & rotors, shocks & struts, and alignments. Go somewhere else and get a second opinion.
Very helpful explained everything making me very comfortable with repairs being done.
Professional, and fast. Quick tire repair, fair price.
I came to Mavis for 4 rims and 4 Tires. They mounted the wider tire on my front rim and skinner tires on myRear rims.
Summerfield is an excellent outcome. Friendly, courteous, and prompt. We highly recommend them.
Went there to check out a problem with my tire losing air. Was told I had to replace the wheel on a different tire I mentioned. I called back in to get a price quote, finally got someone 2 days later, then was told to call back the next day. I finally decided to go somewhere else to get my wheel/tire checked out and it turns out I never had to get my wheel replaced, there was just a nail in the tire in the original wheel I mentioned. So I would have been overcharged for something that didn’t need to be done.
Always helpful and give great advice for my son on keeping his car running at optimal performance.
