Everything here is made with hatred! Never get ANY of the drinks! the coffee is horrible but you know what’s worse! We absolutely despised them, they tasted like plastic and they were grossly sweet. DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY AND TIME ON DRINKS! Just get the donuts they’re 🔥 but they were decorated like they didn’t care! I am very disappointed as a krispy kreme lover! how will I ever be able to talk about krispy kreme again!!!! It made my friend sad and she cried! 😡 I recommend Virginia Beach Krispy Kreme they are so lovely and they really care!

When I arrived I was very excited, I had never been to this location before. I go inside and the set up of the store was nice. I walk to the counter and thats where everything turned. The floor was so sticky that the shoes I wore I had to literally jerk my foot up so I could walk and I did this with every step! I ordered our food and sat down. While waiting I see that there is a smoke like substance in the air. Then a burning smell came about. We got our donuts and when I go into the box for mine, the donut is solid white. If you get these donuts it should be a nice even clear glaze, Not these. I get my donut and the white glaze is still hot and smears all over my fingers and hands. They shouldnt do that at all. I then begin to eat it and I never thought I would say this but it was way too sweet. I did not enjoy my experience here. The staff was friendly but for $20 spent. It was not worth it. Hopefully someone else has better experiences than the one I did.

Hot and fresh. You can’t go wrong with hot and fresh donuts from Krispy Kreme. I prefer to go inside and make my selection there are just too many varieties to know what is available plus it is way faster if there are more than a few cars in line.

Just left about 30 min ago. Our helper was named Michael, and he was a great sport . I was making multiple orders to use birthday coupon, a buy one get one half off coupon and then another dozen of mixed. He was very helpful and patient. He also answered all my questions about the donut machine process. Would definitely visit him again.

This location always has the specialty themed donuts we are seeking unlike a lot of other locations. Service & food has never been a disappointment!

Dont go in first thing in the morning as the opening staff is not up and at em. Two visits in a row two days in a row and order was wrong both times, took a long while though nobody else was around, and then they disappeared with my CC the second day and couldnt provide a receipt, and then I checked statement and was charged 3 times.

I just went there today while the hot light was on and I dont know whats going on with this place but this is the second time Ive bought donuts from here and they DO NOT taste fresh at all. This place went down hill every since it opened. Although management was very understanding and took care of the situation with ease.

The donut quality is amazing they look beautiful and taste fantastic and the service is fast although I have had an incident where the cashier wasn’t taking my order and was distracted moping instead of being ready to take someone’s orders.

This was our 2nd time at this Krispy Kreme and had good service and fresh donuts each time!

I love Krispie Kreme doughnuts but do not have a place nearby. Why have stopped carrying your doughnuts in nearby grocery store (Harris Teeter)

Appeared to be the average KK store. Interior was clean, although once you drove around the building as if you were going thru the drive-thru, it appeared a bit dingy on the exterior (ground, pavement, area toward dumpster, etc.) Display cases appeared to be well stocked. I deducted two (2) points because one (1) of three (3) employees behind the counter was wearing his facemask as a chin strap. If youre not going to wear it covering both your nose & mouth, then why bother to wear it at all. And yes, I know that on the date of my visit masks were not required to be worn inside by fully vaccinated persons in the State of VA, but apparently it is a policy of Krispy Kreme for their employees while working.

Could have been friendlier...fresher. Apparently the drive through Associate was having problems withe their mic and could not hear me no matter how loud I talked into the drive-thru mic. I would suggest the employees look a little more presentable as well.

Unfortunately, as much as I love Krispy Kreme, I cannot recommend this particular location. The filled donuts, especially the new ones with holes, have absolutely no filling. I am not sure how that happens but it frequently does here. In addition, the donuts are frequently stale. If I can buy Krispy Kremes at the grocery that are not stale, you would think the ones at the shop would be fresh. Honestly, I am not talking made this morning state but days old stale. Also Hot Nows are NEVER actually hot or even warm. I think they forget to turn off the sign because I often see them do so as I drive off with my cold “Hot Nows.”

They are literally giving out couple days old stale donut for vaccine card. Will not go there to buy donuts from this bad experience. Never had such a bad donut from any other location before.

Wonderfully attentive staff and clean. It just smelled clean. That was a comfortable experience.

Ohmigosh! The freshest Krispy Kremes you can get! The donuts were delicious and the coffee was great too. We stood and watched the Krispy Kreme donuts being glazed as they were on their conveyor belt. So neat.

Drink didnt taste right at all. Last time I was here was a year or so ago and they still have NOT fixed the speaker. You have to yell in it and they still cant hear you right. I had to yell my order over and over about 4 times.

An absolute s***-show on my visit. The display case was stocked with a variety of donuts they didn’t have available. There were some others available, but our cashier had no idea. There is no organization to the line or pick-up area. Was anybody in charge?

Doughnuts arent healthy. I know this. Its okay to have a treat now and then and Im sure these are not as clean as Id like them to be ingredients wise. However, whenever Ive needed a sweet tooth fix or a special group celebration, its usually here. Their Christmas doughnuts are extra good and the reindeer doughnut was so cute that my toddler girl wanted to snuggle and kiss it instead of eat it. (Ended up feeding it to daddy instead because she couldnt eat something that was staring at her, haha!) Very fast service and some great coupons and deals. Always complete your receipt survey as it has some awesome perks. All in all, todays visit was 10/10.

The light was on but both the donuts and coffee were cold!

Even though they have so many workers working at the same time here, service is incomprehensibly slow. Furthermore, employees have a generally defeated and uninviting demeanor, and are conspicuously rough with each other, too. The regular glazed donuts have seriously gone down in quality (or maybe never were optimum at this branch), and cleanliness seems superficial.Its disappointing that a childhood happy place is such a dreary place.

Everyone here is always so kind!! Really enjoy the staff, and they remember you if you come in a second time. I love buying stuff here for work functions or a thank you gift. Plus I’m happy that Kk has introduced mini donuts. Super cute. Love this location. Also very clean

When they are good they’re good. This morning I got a vanilla latte hot and it’s 50% foam, and taste like plain black coffee. I understand we are human and make mistakes. But when it’s 6:30 and there are no customers in the building or at the drive through I thinks fair to expect a decent latte. I’ve had it a few times where it wasn’t up to standards but after the third time I thought it was time for a review.

My donuts are ICE cold, like fresh out of the refrigerator cold, obviously not fresh or made today (mind you it’s 4pm now) if I wanted cold day old donuts I would have paid $4 at Walmart for a dozen instead of paying $10.75 and waiting in line for 15 min. Highly disappointed.

Dont bother. No matter how much you like their donuts, it is NOT worth dealing with the staff at this location. Every visit Ive tried over the past three months has been terrible, Ive even bailed on a few orders mid-ordering out of frustration. Im a rather patient person (a teacher), but this simply not worth it. Avoid!

I have never spent SO long in a drive through. There are at least 6 employees in this store right now. It should not take 20 minutes for me to get a box of donuts. The employees were so OBVIOUSLY not in a rush. It’s incredibly frustrating. I assumed that any drive through would be a quick experience, especially a god damn DONUT drive through where they don’t even have to cook anything to order

I am sitting n line writing this review. Pulled in cause only had 3 cars in drivethru. 25 minutes later I am still waiting fo 1 donut. Really? Are you make them to order. Wish I had 4x4 to get out of line. Horrible management. Horrible! Still waiting.

Very clean and the doughnuts were fresh and amazing. The dining area and bathrooms were very clean. Staff very friendly and promptly took my order.

I go to the Krispy Kreme two or three times every week since theyve opened. The staff is always wonderful and happy. Yes, once in a while, service is slow, but what do you expect when there are 20 customers in the store? Thats how good Krispy Kreme is! Plus, the staff are always kind and welcoming.

Getting there at 8 AM is a good idea, as no one was there. The staff were very kind, and the service was fast. I was in and out in under two minutes, cant say that about most other stores.

Their outdoor speaker doesnt work well and they consistently have gotten orders wrong. You need to look at everything you order before you leave.

I usually love Krispy Kreme but this location leaves much to be desired. The staff has never been friendly and seem to wish they could be doing anything else and the floors are always sticky. The donuts are yummy as always but need better staffing.

You cant go wrong with a Krispy Kreme. Ive been chasing down these places in whatever state I lived in that had one. When I was an undergrad we had one that was 24 hours. We used to crash it at around 1 or 2 am when the hot doughnut sign was on. To this day, Im still like a kid whenever I see that hot sign. Ive been traveling long distances and would immediately take the exit ramp if I spotted a Krispy Kreme with the sign lit up. This location is no different than the others. Great doughnuts. The only thing that Krispy Kreme needs to improve is their coffee. It just simply isnt the kind of coffee that would typically give you a morning boost. Even their dark roast is a little thin. But still, the best doughnuts around.

We got a half dozen. They did have the kind my grandson wanted. We got another one my husband wanted. Soon, they came with the doughnut my grandson wanted in a small box. He was so happy because it was his favorite.

Love this place...BUT...seems like they NEVER have enough help to serve customers. I went in on a Thursday morning around 8:30 to purchase donuts for the office. One very nice lady running the register, one running drive through, one making donuts...6 people in line. I felt bad for the lady running the register and having to fill orders also. Busy time of morning youd think there would be be more help. Long wait but....they did their best.

Krispy Kreme here in Charlottesville has been fun for everyone. Its very busy during this pandemic, and they seem to do everything with a smile

They use to have a location on RT.29 business. I would go there with friends after going out all night. I was so disappointed when it closed. Seeing that they are having a rebound and are opening new location is absolutely amazing, its a flashback that I can now bring my kids to. Always the best, they are not doughnuts they are Krispy Kreme.

I have to travel an hr in all 4 directions to get to a Krispy Kreme. On the way home from our weekend getaway- we stopped at the one in Charlottesville, Va. It was easy to find as it was off of interstate 64- 5th street station exit. It was well lit, with good parking and a drive thru. We went inside, i love to watch the assembly line and inhale the wonderful donut smell. They had coupons out for customers, which was awesome. I was able to get a dozen of glazed donuts for 5.00dollars less. The customer service was wonderful and fast. The donuts were fresh off the press, warm, and melt in your mouth yummy. They have a nice selection to choose from and are doing flavors just for the fall season.

I am very disappointed in them. I understand they just open. There machines was down to make the icing for the donuts. We went through the drive thru and that was just bad we giving her our order. Then she gone say they are out of what we wanted guessing the people inside was ordering the same things as we was. Then we get the donuts and they are hard like they was couple days old. I try calling them to tell them no one answered the phone. I was to far from them to go back. I don’t think I personally will not be going back there.

I must stop, after I eat just one more, so irresistible!

Doughnuts were fresh and the four times I have visited the staff have been very nice. My son loves to watch the doughnuts fry. The window covering the baking area has been clean each time, which I appreciate. Very nice and clean restroom as well.

My experience was not good. Wanted the Valentine donuts. 2/14. Did not have any. When I ask when they would be ready or could I pre order the sales person said no. They may be ready in an hour but she really didnt know. Was busy doing paperwork. Did not seem to care that a long line was forming. Really a disappointment. Went to Wegmans got Valentine cookies. Very pleased.

We pretty consistently get the wrong donuts when we order from here... theres Kreme filled and custard filled.. Thats apparently hard to distinguish between.
