Absolutely fantastic! Good quality ice cream thats not too expensive. They dont charge extra for toppings, which is a nice change from most other sweet treat shops.Wide range menu!Takeaway: Food was packaged extremely well.Definitely will visit again. Recommended.

Delicious and affordable frozen yogurt

First thing we noticed when we walked in was no employees nor customers in the shop were wearing a mask in this day and age. Overall, the ice cream was average nothing fancy which is fine. The problem was when we ordered a scoop of ice cream and only ice melt was remaining on the bottom of the drum. We requested for another scoop from another drum but they refused and insisted that they had enough before being served a sloppy, incomplete, and sad scoop of ice melt. We also noticed that there was much more room for improvement with the cleanliness/hygiene of the shop. We sat down at a table but there was still an unfinished strawberry smoothie left at an unoccupied table next to us. When we were done and bus our table the top of the trash container was very dirty with crumbs, sprinkles and dried ice cream.

Friendly service. Not homemade ice cream... Hersheys brand, and it tasted a bit freezer burnt (but in fairness, that could have just been the flavor). The soft serve had a good range of options and a decent number of toppings.

This was my first trip to bloop. The employee was extremely nice. When you first walk in the door there are two freezer cases with dip ice cream in it. So I got a double scoop of the cappuccino ice cream. Once I sat down I saw further in the back all of the soft serve machines and then I realized that I wasnt actually eating their product but eating Hersheys product. So I gave one star down for presentation for the new person being slightly confusing. I would have loved to have tried bloops product. But I gave four stars because the employee was super nice and the restaurant was clean and inviting

This is a great family friendly ice cream shop in Charlottesville. The owners are very nice, great staff, and they have yogurt and ice cream choices.

I *LOVE* Bloop! They charge by the cup, so you can load up as much yogurt and toppings as you can fit (unlike places that charge by the ounce). They have a great selection of flavors, and a regular rotation of new flavors. The toppings are also fantastic, ranging from cheesecake cubes to candy bar pieces to cereal to classic gummies. Bloop is a great pick me up or celebration spot.

Clean, bright decor! The frozen yogurt is flavorful & yummy! They have a good choice of toppings &, BONUS, they dont weight your cup. 1 cup, 1 price! Yes, if you can fit it in, you get the cups price. And the personnel are very nice & efficient.

I love the frozen yogurt here and the fact that it’s a flat rate for the cups, but I was very disappointed tonight with the staff. No welcome to bloop. Stayed in the back the whole time except to charge and even when he came to charge he was on his phone the whole time. Tables were dirty floors had ice cream all over them and in the women’s bathroom there was a pile of dirt in the corner. Me ans my husband love the yogurt but we didn’t even get a goodbye.

We love this place! Had our sons birthday party here 2 years in a row. Its clean and staff is friendly.

Bloop is the best. Great selection of soft serve (gelato, custard, yogurt, Italian ice) and toppings. Oh and they charge by the CUP and not by weight so that means you can load toppings on up without worrying about the extra charge.

When we walked inside, there were no visible employees working, and the space smelled a little off. Since it was in a strip of stores, I figured the smell could be another stores issue, but as we walked the length the entire store to grab our cups, our feet stuck to the floor. No matter where we walked, there was a sticky residue, like the floors hadnt been cleaned in a long time. Lastly, myself and my mom both selected two separate flavors, and when we tried to dispense the frozen yogurt, it came out as 100% liquid. Between the smell, the floors, and the liquid froyo, we left and never saw a single employee. Overall, just a major let down and a little bit odd as far as bloop goes. Ive been to a number of locations around Virginia (this was my first time at this location), and I dont think Ill return, unfortunately.

Would much rather get frozen yogurt somewhere else. Service was decent, but this place was dirty. Im pretty disappointed since this is a fairly new establishment. The floors were sticky, the tables were as well. There was ice cream on the walls and the bathroom was pretty gross.

I wake up every morning in a bed thats too small, drive my daughter to a school thats too expensive, and then I go to work to a job for which I get paid too little. But Bloop? Well, I like Bloop.I think in this day and age, we all should be aware of our strengths and weaknesses. What you know, and what you dont. Im not an expert on politics. Or the climate, or economics. But I am a froyo expert. A froyo sommelier, if you will. And let me tell you, Bloop is the creme of the crop. Skip sweet frog. Skip Arches. Skip paying per ounce and pay a flat rate. Have some self respect and get Bloop.

Wish my waistline could afford eating here daily since my wallet can. Such a better value than the places that weigh your ice cream or yogurt.

Love this place, I couldnt ask for better frozen yogurt. Like many reviews on here; charging by the cup was a wise choice.

Loved this place! A decent offering of self serve frozen yogurts and gelatos with standard and rotating specialty flavors. After a disappointing dinner elsewhere at Stonefield, the night was saved by the yogurts we got at Bloop. Best of all, you pay a flat price based on cup size! Extra toppings? Hell yeah! Like with all self serve joints there were several children getting into trouble at the pumps, but thats the parents faults for not policing them appropriately. Otherwise, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be returning.
