Mattress Firm in Chesapeake provided quality customer service, the kind of service you hope for but rarely experience these days. Mr. Ricky Johnson helped us on the first day we came in to look. He was kind to our children and gave us all the time we needed to carefully consider which mattress would be best for my husband and I. I purchased a mattress yesterday it was not available in the store so they were going to have to deliver it but did not know when that delivery was going to take place I told them I may not be able to be home due to my work schedule and they told me it would be no problem to reschedule it only now the scheduled time does not work for me and no one knows how to cancel or reschedule the appointment not quite sure how am I supposed to get my bed or what I need to do at this point

Ricky was a great salesman and was very helpful in navigating us through all the particulars.

When placing our order with the store associate we were promised a next-day pick up or a delivery two days later. We chose next-day pickup. When given our paperwork is stated a pickup date 2 days out, we questioned this with the sales associate and we’re assured the system “always generates two days out” but our purchase would be available for pickup the next day as the truck came daily between 2 and 4. At 3pm, I called to check on the status and was told by the manager that it had not came on the truck and the computer just showed it as “in route”. He could not tell me if that meant that day on a different truck or on another day completely, but emailed the warehouse for clarification. When I asked if a manager could find this out for me, he informed me he was the manager and the system just said “in route” and he could not tell me if that meant today or tomorrow. Almost two hours later, I received a call saying it would not be in today, as was promised by the associate but was scheduled for drop off at the store the next day. We had made childcare arrangements (during a pandemic) and had a friend leave work early to help us move the new mattress and platform. When asking if delivery was available, it was another hour wait for an answer and a no. I was extremely dissatisfied with the support given by the store and the options for how to fix the mistakes made. I asked for contact from the district manager, as suggested by the corporate sales associate I spoke to when trying to find help, and was told he would call between 10 and 12 the next day. That call did not come in either.I would like to hope that this is just a poor store choice and not a reflection of the company as a whole, but I will not be recommending this company because of this awful experience.

Had a great experience last weekend here. We had the pleasure of working with James. He knew just about everything regarding all of the different mattress that they sold and was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Also, we were able to get our mattress delivered in only 2 days, and the delivery crew was great too. Overall, No complaints, would highly recommend.

BEST experience buying a mattress!!! My husband and I bought a new king sized mattress at Mattress Firm (next to Target in Edinburgh) after being helped by Keith who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Keith has a wonderful way about him in that he was never pushy, however he guided us expertly through the selections. I particularly appreciated that he did not waste our time with mattresses that he knew would not work for us. That allowed us to focus on the mattresses that would meet our needs (my lower back pain in particular). Everything went smoothly from the purchase through the delivery. The delivery went really well and we appreciated the phone call the evening before and the heads up phone call when they were on their way. I dont know what to say about my experience at Edinburgh Mattress Firm. My old mattress was finished and done for. Most people just pick a mattress and run with it. So naturally this is what I was going to do, just pick a mattress and roll with it. I walked in and I was immediately greeted by the Store Manager Keith who provided me with phenomenal insight and information. Most sales people make you feel like you have to buy it now. He made me feel like an actual valued customer. I purchased the mattress from him 4 hours later, as I went back to the store from trying shop elsewhere. Brian Brooks is amazing. I was in the market for a medium range mattress and 2 days after Christmas I have an immovable budget. Brian exceeded my budget by $.70 cents. He exceeded my expectations immeasurably. Brian was able to get me one of their premium mattresses, fully adjustable and massaging base, protector, 5yr full warranty refundable if no claims needed, headboard, tax and delivery for 70 cents over my budget for just the medium lvl mattress. I would like to extend a personal ty Brian and Mattress Firm. For something I’ll sleep on every night for 10+ years w/a back that was broken in an accident what you did for me was unbelievable.
