The pharmacist and Joe are phenomenal. Those two are patient, competent and very helpful when ever I go in . The store manager during the day is kind and monitors the store to help. Positive vibes all around. I enjoy shopping there, however there is one caveat. The buffet foods are not covered. That means that the flies eat there tooI wish there was some way to protect the food yet make it accessible.

A great place to get your groceries, this is like the other Harris Teeters, a wide selection of items covering various grocery needs. They have a deli where you can get sliced meats and cheeses or even cooked items. The store is a little smaller than its sister stores but doesnt really change anything. The staff are polite and professional. They are following Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Nice place to shop. I like the fact that I do not have to check myself out if I dont want to. Most of the cash registers at any given time are staffed with cashiers. Good prices and good sales. I frequent this place often.

Shops at Greenbrier location often. Shelves are always well stocked with good varieties. Prices are competitive also.

Watch out for stolen groceries, my wife was loading our groceries in the car when she notcied a bag missing with all the expensive meat we had purchased, it was on the receipt but not in any of the bags, she went back in to see if she left the bag and the cashier and bagger were no where to be foind and neither was the missing meat, they made her bring all the groceries back in to check off every item before realizing the obvious that there were items missing, she was told to get replacement items and thennthey didnt even re bag the groceries, I hope who ever is responsible is fired so this doesnt happen to someone else which im sure it has

Store is great, clean, well stocked, solid customer service. Except the deli. It is awful, you always have to wait: to get help, to get yoir order, etc.. Better off going to Harris Teeter on Greenbriar.

Hello I was in the deli department at Harris Teeter orchard square and this black women with glasses and it took her 10 minutes before she addressed me.She had an additude and did not want my meat at all.I had to ask her to recut my meat because it was to (THICK).She had an attitude when i asked her to redo it over thin.I got the impression after she cut all my meat that she did not like her job.When I asked her to recruit the ham she snatched it out of my hand.

Definitely a neighborhood grocery store! Good selections, always clean and organized. Only issue I have is that I come here about 3 times a week and the staff is not friendly...other than Kevin at Seafood. The rest are eye rolls and nasty glares.

I love Harris Teeter! The butcher was very knowledgeable and helpful and they always have things you cant find in other stores.

I run into this Harris Teeter when I need a few things, its very close to my house. They almost always have what I need. I dont usually see any employees asking for help or anything, but I do always use self checkout.

The HT on kempsville and volvo is yuk. As soon as the doors open up all you smell is rotten fish. Even the masks dont cover it up.

Its ok, but I prefer the location on Greenbrier Parkway. I noticed a lot of the dairy items I was looking at was very close to the expiration date.

Its a takeover of an old Farm Fresh store. A nice remodel, although smaller inside than other Harris Teeter stores and doesnt have the same feel as them. I went in to forage for some pastries and was disappointed to see how small the bakery selection was. Good for a quick stop if you need something, but not my first choice.

It has a nice clean store and very nice people that work their but, the products are meh, along with its cheap pricing tags and pricing schemes.....makes you feel like your being taken to the market (pun intended) everytime.

This is the Disney Land of grocery stores!

Little smaller harris teeter but typical to that brand. Often not that busy. Better produce, spirits, seafood, deli than food lion or walmart, but higher prices generally.

Wished it didnt smell like sticky seafood when 6 walk in, its offensive.

Lots of good selections of produce and meats. I got the new Beyond Meat burger patties here, which I havent been able to find elsewhere. Also shitake and oyster mushrooms were on sale, so I will be having a nice meal tonight. One star off just because they are a bit more expensive than other stores.

The employees were there to help you left and right it was a wonderful and amazing experience. I am also very excited to have this store next door to me as my Guinea Pigs only like Harris Teeter red leaf lettuce. Their produce is very fresh. Everything is organized, the layout is somewhat similar to the farm fresh that was there before. Love it!!!

Its a great store but whenever you try to do self-checkout, for some reason when you push to pay, it always says help is on the way, why does this problem always occur, sometimes it takes them a long time to get there, other than that its a very good store

New store. Friendly staff. Had to figure out where everything was but all part of new store. Their fresh salad/to go area is pretty lacking though. Might want to hit a different Harris teeter if youre looking for a quick meal to go.

The Pharmacy here is 100% fantastic! Joe and the pharmacy manager are excellent for customer service! 💯👍🏼 The rest of the store is bad. Lettuce, strawberries, and blueberries ALWAYS have mold on them 2 days after purchase. Bad for my 2yo! Never a single lane open. Always have to use self checkout. Very limited makeup section. “Customer service” manager was unfriendly. It’s just like the old Farm Fresh but worse and with higher prices.🤭😣

The store is nice and clean. Lyn in deli was amazing. She made sure everything was cut just how I wanted it. Cashier at the front though was not as friendly. Seemed annoyed that she had to ring up my groceries.

Ordered buttercream chocolate cupcakes for a birthday and asked that Happy birthday be written expecting in to come in a cake box. Didnt get it. The icing was whipped and the packaging was in a clear cupcake packaging. The whole order was messed up and its too late for me to have it correctd 😡

Always have out of stock items when I do the grocery pickup... today no chicken breast and no frozen veggies. They also dont carry enough lean cuisines. Its not worth it to come here when the greenbrier location has better inventory.

Absolutely excellent customer service. They were helpful and attentive. However their rostisary chicken tasted horrible. It was dried and hard. Although I will visit the market again, I will not be buying the chicken.😏

I often use the Harris Teeter app for deli. Its quick and easy. Well its supposed to be. 5 times, lets repeat, 5 times (everytime Ive used the deli at this specific location) my order has been wrong. Wrong cheese, ham instead of turkey. Etc. Etc. At first I thought silly mix up. No biggie was given the corrected product. Now after the 5th time..this is pure laziness on the deli. They literally place the wrong product sticker next to the online order sticker that has what I actually ordered on it. Can we talk about how frustrating it is to get home to make a sandwich and youve been given American cheese instead of Cheddar? On mess up #4 I wrote in online. Never heard anything. Mess up #5 I called the store management, and now here we are.

I visited during the much anticipated and hyped grand opening week and a handful of times since. With the exception of a couple end cap items, nothing was on sale the grand opening week. Its no secret but HT does not compete well against Wal-Mart or Kroger when it comes to pricing. If Im going to pay top dollar, Ill go to Wegmans where the produce selection is unmatched and very fresh. Im glad they kept the hot bar but instead of the cheap chicken deals like FF had, its $9/lbs. Thats like 2 pieces of chicken. I basically have no push to shop here, so I dont.

This is a refurbished FarmFresh with a new Harris-Teeter facade. Unfortunately, it lacks the panache of the Greenbrier Parkway location because it simply still looks like Farm Fresh. Well probably still drive to the Greenbrier location, even though its a little farther away, because its just a nicer, larger HT and the self checkout machines are new and improved. This Harris Teeter has these antiquated ones in an odd configuration.Other big con: The parking lot is awkward.Big pro though: The walk-in beer cooler is nice.

Do yourself a favor and drive to the one in Greenbrier. Super disappointed! Ive been there 3 times in the past week and had to just leave the store and drive to the next one. Prices are higher then the Greenbrier store, less product available, the wait at the cash register is almost unbearable, and on top of that the young people working are completely rude! Hopefully changes will be made idk if they rushed to open but it seems they had adequate timing because it took forever to open. Ill give it a few more months before going back.
