The staff were very helpful and friendly. The store had a little bit of everything for your everyday home repair needs. Will definitely be trying to hit these guys up more often in the future.

Apparently each ACE is independently owned and won’t accept returns from other ACE stores. This store won’t accept a return, an unopened item with the original receipt.

I came down from Florida for the holiday and ended having to go here because I needed a part. This place is very rude and prejudice. The cashier women at front was very rude and nasty & so was the male associate who was working the floor of you are Black do not go here they do not like black people. This place should be shut down. Their customer service is on 0 if I didn’t need the part I would have purchased nothing

Friendly, courteous and helpful people own and work here. Not like the Big Box stores.We purchased our mulch here two days in a row.

I real happy. I found a part of the toilet connection stainless steel hose. I try fix that the screw tool. Too low on the valve. I will fix the screw to the stainless steel hose seal click. Thk. Smile.

They had Gardz Problem Surface Sealer, couldnt find it anywhere else. They even had it waiting at the register for my arrival.

I went there to buy a $60.00 garden hose on Labor Day. The sign on the door read hours on Labor Day open till 3:00 P.M. I was there a 2:15 P.M. and the girl locked the door and would not let me in. Guess it is not the helpful hardware store like they advertise. I will never go back. You are fired.

Real close to home and never as busy as the HD or L home improvement stores.... And the prices arent much different.Has everything a homeowner needs... Probably not what you need if youre a contractor that needs massive amounts lumber, roofing, etc..

The store did not have everything I chose from the website. However and this is important, this store and another Ace Hardware store in Chesapeake are the only Chaffhaye dealers even remotely close to my house. I liked the staff, friendly and helpful. It reminded me of an old fashioned hardware store not big box. BTW ... if you keep chickens you should get them Chaffhaye. It is not that expensive and has great health benefits.

Prices are a little high but this store is conveniently located by house. I run a small business called The Kreative Bird where I work on furniture. I come here whenever I need something quick. Customer service is ALWAYS great. Anyone there is more than willing to help you find what you need.

This new Ace location is right around the corner from Tudors Ace Hardware, and its owned by the same family. Its got an expanded selection of products, especially for garden and bird supplies. The staff here is exceptionally kind and helpful, and will always work hard to get you what you need. Most of the time if you need something ordered, it will be there in less than a week. American Ace Hardware is a great addition to our neighborhood!

She says as soon as I enter the store, Can I help you with something? If I dont answer she says it louder so that I can turn my head she gets a police stare down view and I go about my way. I count to 5 and here she comes. As if. Same as her other store.

Your lifetime Craftsman warranty is no good here without a receipt. Craftsman says go to a stocking dealer for warranty repair/replacement, like Ace, and directs you there from their website. Ace will tell you that isnt true after you waste your time driving there. This is the first time I have been to an Ace, and it failed to live up to the jingle. The not so helpful place...
