Gary Novak is hands down the best! I was only able to come in on a Sunday and he worked on HIS DAY OFF to make sure I was taken care of and got the vehicle I wanted. Inventory for a lot of vehicles is extremely limited right now. However, Don Mealy was flexible, and helped us find the right vehicle for our large family. Gary N was extremely friendly, didn’t tell us just to go to Best Buy for DVD systems for the car for the kids. They offered to install it w/ genuine Chevy parts. Gary worked with us on price, even when we continued to online shop while work with him. Cannot recommend his professionalism, and willingness to help enough! If you find yourself in the market for a reliable Chevy, definitely ask for Gary at Don Mealy Chevy. We will definitely return to this dealership for our next Chevy. Especially as this is our second car we have purchased from them.

I had a great purchase experience with Joe Degroot. This occurred during COVID-19 and I couldnt travel to see the vehicle in person. I decided to buy the vehicle unseen. Joe was able to provide all the photos, videos, and documents I asked for. Everything checked out. I had the vehicle shipped across the United States and it arrived in the exact condition as described by Joe. Inexperience, incompetence, ignorance, or lack of complex problem solving ability, I dont know. 4, thats four times brought in and still failed to fix the original issue. I used to think GM is GM, and Ive used this dealers service before without any significant issue, but suffice to say, this Chevy dealer could not properly diagnose my Buick, whereas I took the Buick dealer all of 30 minutes to identify the exact issue.Do you guys not talk? When you hit the wall on a Buick, do you not pick up the phone and call the Buick dealer down the road and say hey, you guys ever seen this issue? It would have saved a lot of effort for all involved, most importantly me, the customer.To service rep Scott, it doesnt take much to give status updates especially when asked multiple times for them. Additionally, try not to be so snarky when you do decide to respond as its quite off-putting. You might consider seeking out customer-facing training courses to handle remediating the shortcomings in your client-facing demeanor.And to Mike the service manager. Yes communication improved when you got involved, but you evidently reached your I give up limit and decided to...actually give up on helping. Frankly, I didnt know that was an option for a service center. Were back to even now though, I suppose, because I ended giving up on you, which seems to have worked out for the best for everyone.I consider this a valuable learning experience that I will use to adjust my future dealings accordingly. I suggest you all do the same.

Definitely recommend when looking for a vehicle!Update to initial review - I was fine with dealership but after I drove off the lot in vehicle I just purchased it was like the salesperson forgot me. He lost my drivers license and when I called him about it, it wasnt his fault. He made excuses. So I had to take time off work to get another license. Then I asked several times for him to mail me the OnStar paperwork copies and the vehicle certified paperwork as he forgot to give them to me. Needless to say, I never got the paperwork. Terrible after the sales customer service. Shame to because I thought they were so great! 😞

I was at Don Mealey Chevrolet today trying to get my brake lights fixed. I have never in my life been spoken to by a member of a service team in such a condescending way. After she quoted me an ungodly amount to change my tail lights, she was snarky, and very rude (Rachel Ward.) I would not recommend this place for anyone who is looking to find a new vehicle or getting yours fixed, PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I would advise the management team to please check into their service members attitudes and aggressiveness.

Several weeks ago while in for a routine oil change, I mentioned to the service advisor that one of the buttons controlling my air conditioning stopped working intermittently and asked if it could be looked at. When I picked my car up after the oil change, the service advisor informed me that the issue could be fixed, a part was ordered, and that I would receive a call when it arrived.A week later the part arrived and I received a text message letting me know to call and schedule a service appointment. I scheduled an appointment for Monday at 8:00am. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told by Corey, the service advisor handling my appointment, that the service would take approximately 5 hours. After almost 9 hours, I hadn’t heard anything so I called the dealership for an update.Shortly after 5:00pm, Corey returned my call and told me that the service was not complete and that another part was needed. He told me that it was ordered and would arrive the following day, Tuesday. I am not sure why it took 9 hours for him to realize that an additional part was needed. One would think that if my car was being worked on at 8:00am, the realization of the missing part would have occurred much sooner and someone would have reached out to me to let me know that the service may not be completed so that I could make other arrangements for my transportation needs. I inquired about a loaner vehicle because I needed to be able to get to work, and I was told that there were none. So, I asked to come pick up my car and was told it was not drivable. Corey said he would see if it could be made drivable and he would call me back. He made no effort to provide any assistance or alternative options for me.At 5:40pm he called again and told me it could be drivable, but that the location closed at 6:00. I told him I would leave right then and should be there just in time. I arrived around 6:07 and the doors were locked and lights were off. A member of the sales team saw me and I explained that I came to pick up my car. He took me inside and tried to help me.After speaking to multiple staff members, nobody could locate my keys. A female named Rachel was looking for them, calling and texting Corey to find out where they might be. Approximately 20 minutes later, I finally had my car. Knowing that I was coming to get my car, one would think that Corey would either wait until I arrived before leaving, or at the VERY least inform somebody that I was on my way to pick up my car and leave my keys with them. Poor customer service from beginning to end with this guy.After I went home, I realized that my glove box was not in the car. I was told that it would be detached from the dashboard, but expected it would be in my car being that nearly every American keeps their insurance and registration in the glove box. So, the following morning on Tuesday I had to drive back up to pick the glove box up, which is currently sitting on the floor in my backseat. I asked the service advisor when I could complete the service and he told me the part would be arriving that day and they would call me when it arrived. I was never called, nor was I called the next day. I am still waiting.This level of service is unacceptable and if my car was not under warranty I would not return to the location for any service needs whatsoever.

The overall service went very well and I was very happy. However, the payment process was extremely slow as the cashier left her desk right after my paperwork was delivered to her and she told me she would be right back. She then proceeded to go to one of the service advisors and carry on a conversation that had nothing to do with my service. 5-10 minutes later she came back and processed my payment, but I should not have had to wait for her to have an unrelated conversation and she could have done that after I paid and left instead of keeping me waiting to take my money!!

Without warning our oil change took 4 hours with a 12:00 appointment. We went out to eat thinking it would only take an hour. We called afterwards and it wasnt ready. Then we went shopping and called every hour, it still wasnt ready. Then at 3:50pm we got the call saying it was done and they had the audacity to say if we didnt get back in 10 minutes they would keep the car overnight.

I came to the dealer with my wife last Saturday. I was looking for a truck. My salesman was great but things quickly went sour during negotiations. They tried to get me to agree to a payment over $800 and the truck was already 3 years old! Yet the manger came out and was absolutely the rudest person I ever met. I cant remember his name but he was really oddly shaped like an egg and fat. He would not even look at or talk to my wife and that just made us uncomfortable. He told us if we cant afford it we should look at a cheaper truck! No, how about being fair! I did the calculations and they were high by at least $100 per month. Just stay away unless you like to be abused by humpty dumpty!

My wife and I just purchased a brand new 2021 Chevy Traverse LT and we could not be happier with Don Mealey Chevrolet. From the time I made my first inquiry about 3 weeks ago until the final handshake, everything went as smooth as butter. We had also talked to another Chevrolet dealership in town (Carl Black) and were instantly bombarded and pressured (multiple calls, texts and emails, with some even after 8pm)to deal with them. But with Don Mealey Chevrolet there was ZERO pressure. It was the most laid back and stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. We opted to try their 24 hour test drive. They advertise it as no strings attached and they were not lying at it.... I simply placed a phone call to Daniela Barbosa to set up our 24 hour test drive and the next day our Salesman Jake Clark pulled up to our house, had us sign a simple test drive agreement, handed us the keys, showed us a few features of the Traverse and then he was picked up from another representative from the dealership and we were left to enjoy the Traverse to make sure that it fit in with our life with 3 growing kids. We got ahold of Jake the following day and he met us with a smile and made us feel right at ease with non of the stereotypical aggressive sales tactics employed at other dealerships. Everything went very smoothly, and then came the part that most people dread..... The Fianance dept..... Joesph Anthony was not your typical finance guy, he made the whole process fun, we shared lots of laughs. I almost didnt want to leave his office. We HIGHLY recommend Don Mealey Chevrolet if you are in the market for a new or used car. They have earned our business for life.

Other dealerships were marking up their cars 20-25k from MSRP, but not Don Mealey. They actually value their customers and not ripping them off even though it would be so easy to do. Its a dealership. Dont expect them to do you any favors. Expect the salesman to take as long as possible to transfer you to the finance team so that youre frustrated enough to sign the dotted lines. Expect the finance team to rush the process without showing you the full line item break down of what youre paying.Their sales team knows very little about the Chevy Bolt or electric vehicles in general. They will describe features that dont exist on any trim and tack on items that arent necessary (the Bolt comes with a charge cord, dont charge the customer for an extra one). This isnt a good sign since GM has announced they are shifting towards an all electric fleet.The front desk is surrounded by a handful of sales people that seem more interested in bragging and one-upping each other about sales theyve made. Lots of cuss words thrown together to form something resembling a sentence to describe how they made a huge sale. You know families and customers are walking around the show room right? Grow up and act professional.

This dealership was easy to work with. I felt no pressure on buying. Toyota in contrast was so high pressure, they lost my business. I went to Don Mealey Chevrolet and the difference was massive. I felt like I was being tossed around from person to person at Toyota of Clermont, like I didnt matter, just pushed through the process. The person I went on a drive with in a Camry spent the whole test drive on his cell phone. At Don Mealey Chevrolet, I was able to drive the vehicle alone, with gave me the freedom to focus on the car and not be distracted by whatever the person is doing on a test drive. Although the process took hours, I was pleased very much with the quality and professionalism of the employees at Don Mealey Chevrolet. I also like the car a lot. However, I should have done better research on the car, had I known one detail, I would not have purchased the car, but thats on me and not the salesmen or dealer.

Don Mealey Chevrolet, was nothing short of AMAZING! I actually had scheduled a test drive for a car elsewhere, and came here on a whim, however this was the best thing I could have done. I stepped on the lot just looking around at the inventory that they had, that is when Mr. Eric McBride came out to greet my father, and I. He was very honest out front (which is very much appreciated). He was Never pushy, or getting me to buy right there on the spot. He got information on more or less what I was looking for. He let us test drive the cars I was interested in. He never pushed, or hassled me to do anything. When I got down to the 2 that I was most interested in, he gave me the print out for the both of them with the numbers. I let him know that I was still not sure about well anything honestly, but he was very understanding, and let me know that if there was ANY questions that I had, to just let him know, or give a call. I left feeling content, with my first experience there. I winded up going to a dealership next door, just for the heck of it. When I tell you I could not have ran out of that next dealership fast enough!! It was everything I dreaded when even thinking about going to a car dealership. I thought over night about the car at Don Mealey Chevrolet that I had finally made my decision on. The next Morning, I called Eric up, and let him know that I was On My Way!! He was more than welcoming. When I got there, I informed him on some setbacks, that I had encountered on the way to going to purchase the vehicle, and he reassured me that they will work with me. I was in some serious doubt, but just like that a couple of hours later, I was walking out with my new car keys in my hand to my beautiful Chevy Malibu!!! I couldnt have been more excited, and thankful, for the way I was treated at Don Mealey Chevrolet! They will continue to get my business, and I recommend anybody out there in the market for a new car to come here!!!! You will not be disappointed. Without a shadow of a doubt, this has been the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. Came in to look at purchasing my first pickup truck and that’s exactly what happened. I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anyone in specific (I made an appointment). I was then sat down with a truck professional to look and identify some of the features Chevy had to offer. I then knew which vehicle was for me and got a tour of that vehicle. Very professional and detailed walk around of the vehicle. Nicholas Riccardo Was the sales professional that helped through the whole process with the help of the sales manager on duty and other staff. I’m not the kind of guy that goes around boasting about my military service but as soon as they saw I was prior military, they treated me as such and made it their goal to really help me get this new pickup truck... not because of the business it brought, but because they really wanted to take care of me. And they did. Thank you Don Mealy Chevy! Y’all have gained a true life long customer. Before bringing your vehicle here, read all of the reviews. I only give them one star because of the kindness of the two shuttle drivers. To the service department, honest communication will get you along ways.I called for an appointment for an oil change and a warning light. The person on the phone said to bring in my vehicle in at 800am, which I did. At 230 pm I did not hear anything, so I called. I was told I will need a new glow plug. At 530 pm, not hearing anything, I called back. The guy I spoke said the person I spoke with earlier had left for the day and he will check on my vehicle. At 600 pm, I call back because no one called me back. Again I was told they will check on my vehicle. At 630 pm, no return call. I called once again, I was then told the oil change was never completed. I explained to them I need my truck back and to please do the oil change. The shuttle picked me up and dropped me off in time for them to close.I got in to my truck and had seen the warning light was still on. I went inside and was told, they had to order the glow plug. I ask to speak to someone from service and was told they all went home and to call the next day. So, my truck was at Chevy from 800 to 800 for an oil change, really? See pictures for warning light.I also asked them to change my fuel filter, which they did not. See picture.Another nice thing they did without asking was doing a tire rotation. If they would have asked, I would have told them I just put new tires on and didn’t need one. The mechanic didn’t even rotate my tires correctly. The mechanic just put the rears on the front and the fronts on the rear. Didn’t ever check the air pressure, that’s how they got caught. See picture. Now I have a vibration in my steering wheel when I get up to 70 miles an hour. Guess I’ll take it to a mechanic to see what’s wrong.I’m sure when Chevy reads this, I’ll get the same reply. Thanks for informing us and to give us a call. You should be calling your customer, not the customer calling you. I will never be back, and I plan to place a complaint to the real Chevy corporation.

Resolved an unknown noise source through replacement of struts, but while vehicle at dealership, 20 wheel sustained curb rash. Very unprofessional and cold. They gave us a very low rate on our trade-in car.J o s e p h  P e r e z  also tried to push us to take an optional product on the car we were trying to buy. When we repeatedly asked to take it off, he added it to another additional items section, and tried to mislead us. Not only that, when we refused to buy the optional service, he misled us again and said it isnt optional at all. There is a lot of cold, misleading behavior at this dealership. Optional services should NOT be sold as mandatory services, just so that you can make money.

Edited review: Once Whit Gilman, the GM was made aware of the issue I was facing he got involved, stayed involved and rectified the situation. He communicated every step of the way and ensured everything was followed through with. Within days I was able to get my new (to me) vehicle registered in my home state. Under his leadership I’m sure my initial experience is very rare.Btw, the car was represented perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them. I am very pleased with my choice, 2019 Corvette GS.If you are buying a vehicle long distance sight unseen, be prepared to be treated like you’re just a one time customer. At time of making the deal I was assured that copies of all the paperwork I signed and mailed to them would accompany the vehicle when it arrived, didn’t happen. No warranty paperwork, car-fax, nothing zip-zero-zilch. The sales associate assured me by text that when the vehicle was picked up by transport (which I arranged) he would let me know - no response didn’t happen (screen shot attached). To date no one at Don Mealey has even checked to see if I received the vehicle or if it met my expectations when it arrived. Don’t tell me you care, show me.

Don mealy Chevrolet is great. We bought a 2020 blazer here and could not have been more pleased with process. Sales were able to get us in the monthly payment price range that wanted with vehicle we wanted.Fast forward a few months we brought our car in for service oil change and tire rotation. I noticed that exhaust was not aligned correctly and melted part of the rear bumper. There service team took care of this quickly under the warranty and also detailed the inside of car. The detail was unexpected and a great surprise.I live 45-60 min from Don Mealey Chevrolet. I have another Chevy dealership that is 10 min from my house and I will gladly drive the extra 35-50min to don Mealey

So I had my first experience with Don Mealey Chevrolet Service today. I had an appt. If I remember right the oil change service would be about 89.00 for full synthetic, thats average, I got there a little early and told they were really backed up so I would be about 2 to 3 hours for a oil change. Well stuff happens so I go inside and wait. To my delight an hour in a half later they are done and the cost was 67.00 and change. Not bad and yes, first impression: GREAT!One star off from 5 because waiting area had no snacks, no water, no coffee and looked a bit like a hospital waiting room. So next time I would need a ride out of there or Uber somewhere to hang and wait.

This dealership really did a Veteran wrong. My husband went in to buy one of the special deal trucks and thought he was buying a trim level which he needs for comfort. After a long wait for the truck it finally came in and not the trim level he thought he bought. My husband tried to see if he would be okay with the seat and unfortunately it will not work for him. I called to see what Don Mealey Chevrolet would do since he never saw the product he was buying. Well, not only would they not help and even gave us a very low price to trade out of the truck. Not happy with this dealership and will go where they will give a great trade in price and will make sure my husband is happy with the product before he signs paperwork. Very disappointed. We purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey from them that according to their online post was supposed to have navigation. We purchased it at the end of day and we’re told to come back to go over the cars features. Turns out the Odyssey we purchased DOES NOT have navigation. Their salesman, Jason Spencer’s delayed response to our request for them to make it right?“I apologize but I am not getting very far with my managers. I was hoping to have an answer back but nothing yet.”My phone is literally full with disappointing text messages from Jason as he “tries” to make this right. No drama just great service! Purchasing a new vehicle is usually such a pain. No matter how prepared you are most dealers tend to throw a few curves. Not the case with Don Mealey. I recently completed the purchase and delivery of my new C8 Corvette. The dealer experience was fantastic and the C8 is spectacular. I had initially struggled with the long delays, given the labor issues and Covid-19. However, I am happy that Mealey came through in the end. I cant say enoungh about their Corvette Team.
