Large & has everything: pharmacy, gardening (including flowers), toys, automotive center, etc. Staff was helpful in pointing us towards the right place. The large building is a good place to walk around in the cool air conditioning in the summer. Was very busy on Sunday in the mid-day. A lot of people were not wearing masks even though the COVID delta variant is causing a dramatic rise in cases.

My shopping experience would have been better if products to be stored all over the floor. They have stopped cleaning carts and masks aren’t required. Most cashiers act like they hate being there...sad

My wife and I had just walked into the store and the power had gone out. The wife and I turn around and Walmart staffed us swarmed the doors refusing to let anyone out.As far as I understand this violates 1. Detention against civilian will 2. Fire code protocol and wasn’t until I mentioned my lawyer and calling the police did the staff move out of our way, one of which was a floor supervisor. As the myself and a few others that had just walked in the staff at the door began mocking us.My associates and I will be in contact with corporate making sure someone is properly educated.

It used to be great. Always stocked and organized. Everything was price marked. Now the store is not stocked. Major items like bread, milk, produce is out of stock even during the week. On weekends it is a joke. There is nothing left. All essential items are out. I have thought of taking pictures with date and time stamps to show management what it looks like. By management I mean someone at corporate quarters. The new store manager there is hard to get along with. Employees are visibly unhappy. Something needs to be done. I heard that this was a top selling store. It sure isnt now. Sad.

This is one of the busier stores but has a good stock of merchandise.Not hard to get to from north I-25 and north Acadmey blvd.South bound from the interstate it the next couple of streets entrances are on the left side.

I have always been able to find everything I need and more at this store. If I can not a person who is stocking will kindly walk with me to what I need. I feel like a friend is walking with me. Also items that are seasonal are bound to be found first than any other store. Love it. To all the workers there deserve 10 stars. Thankyou **********

Return policy is s***! You buy electronics if you dont cover it you got 7 days like the ring. And even though theyre defective product is broken or catches a virus or was already infected before you had it they wont do s*** to help you.

Another quick visit to this neighborhood icon location for a few essentials. Under stocked shelves in many departments prompted a decision to try another store nearby (same brand).

Always packed i think its the grand central station at the heart of colorado springs, workers do a decent job at making sure their shelves are stocked, and lines are usually long but still a decent place to find lots of goodies....

Great place to use self checkout. One of the few Walmart where i didn’t feel as though I’m being analyzed by every employee. I understand i use it even though they prefer those of us who fill a to overflow to use regular, however, i am disabled and prefer for many reasons to use self checkout. I didn’t soar disabled since it’s a invisible disability to the average person.

They had both of our favorite sodas which are not everywhere. Very well stocked with a nice variety of different choices. The checkout was fast. Really nice Walmart one of the nicest east of the Rockies!

They had part of what I was looking for. There were parts of the store that look like a tornado went through it.Two interactions with one employee, I gave a nice greeting and was ignored. However she (self checkout @ 4pm) did allow a man to enter her area at the last minute. So she raised my stars to 4.

They are beyond rude and never have their money center open, regardless of the day or time. I highly recommend any other Walmart or store for that matter. Asked the electronics guy, for 6 wall phone chargers, for c cord. I dont know the difference between chargers, unless I can pick it out myself. In typical Walmart Fashion. They were locked up. But I thought this guy knew because he was in Electronics. So I bought 6. Get home their for I Phone not android. So now I have to find the DAMN time to go back to Walmart to exchange them or get my Money Back. Should have gone to Dollar General. At least there I can pick and make sure my cord will fit charger. Walmart Sucks

I waited at the jewelry counter for 45 minutes before I got any assistance. Walmart going down the drain customer service is poor. When you ask for assistance they are very rude.

I know its not their fault their out of so much, but when you ask the employees are very snappy. No fun.

I cannot stand shopping at Walmart. The service is awful the only good thing about it is the pricing other than that I would not go there if there.If were more mom and pop shops available I would gladly pay the extra money for whatever I was buying.

Walmart has 15 or 16 self check outs however you cannot use cash, Credit card only, Is they have 2 check outs for cash, and you go theres a line and the cashier walks away for 5 minutes. She finally comes back rings out 1 person, needs change wait 10 minutes, Rings out another person, Slowly. Next The same, next Cashier rings out person - needs change again, Wait 7 or 8 minutes, finally my turn - cashier talks with another Employee walks off with that employee I wait a little bit more than 10 minutes, Cashier has no nickels no pennies goes for change I wait 10 minutes. I believe this is punishment for using cash because they dont want people to use cash anymore. Because no one gives this bad of customer service. I guess this means I start going to Safeway And king soopers. The customers time is worth something too - I dont have an hour and 10 minutes to waste for 4 things that I need to get at the store, They have all those self check outs, but you cannot use cash - you have to use a credit card. I have credit cards I prefer not to use them and pay interest. It is ridiculous and sad that they would treat the people who pay their wages this way, However they know they have you over a barrel because K marts gone, target is not close, So what you gonna do but suffer the way that they want you to. This makes no sense for them financially or for their customers. Just a shame - lack of respect for their customers, lack of courtesy, And its not good for their bottom line how many hours are they paying cashiers to do how little work. Would like to say I wont be back but thats probably not accurate.

Ordered new truck tires came in next day. Installed by the tire crew. Tires look good. But pressures werent filled correctly on 2 tires.

Use to be the best for pick up. Now you have to wait huge amounts of time and half the time they come out and tell you your order is cancelled when it shouldnt be. Just sad.

These four stars are for the pharmacy staff ONLY!! With the exception of an extremely precious few, your staff exhibits nothing more than bad attitudes! Ive chosen to do my grocery and accessories shopping at King Soopers! The Walmartians as I refer to them are callous, unfriendly, and act as if youre inconveniencing them when you need to inquire about something. Ive had it! You people should learn something from your competitors! Theyre happy, they smile, and seem willing to help you every chance! Unlike Wally world! If it wasnt for your incredible pharmacy staff, Id never set foot in your store!

If you have a return be sure to check with the greeter at the entrance. If he hadnt helped me check in my item and see if i had my receipt I wouldnt have been able to get my money credited to my card. Thanks for being kind and helping me with the Wal-Mart return process.

Separate transaction for beauty purchases. They check your receipt which is super annoying when you’re a female traveling solo and you just pulled out cash and wrapped it quickly around your receipt. Had to expose my cash again.

None of the employees we saw ask if they could be of assistance; not really new for any Walmart. Guess youd be more surprised if they did. People stocking the floor in some area had the lines blocked, however not like at Lowes or Home Depot were theyre putting up heavy items; more so you didnt bother them. The guy at the door on the way out was the only employee that addressed us, with a have a nice day. That was new.... overall the same poor employee behavior that is never addressed by Walmart management. So, Just another poor Walmart visit... thanks for the same poor service as always.

Its Walmart!! Really, I have been here hundreds of times. No problems except for today. I am disabled and today I was in extremely lot of pain. I needed a glass case to be opened to get a few things. Literally took 42min for someone to come unlock the door. (timed it) So NO, I wasnt pleased. What should have taken a 25min or 30min stop in the grocery store, ended up being two hours!Still...the store was clean. Employees where friendly and seemed to be doing there jobs. Only SOMETHING happened with the case. I wasnt the only one waiting, a gentleman was also wanting. Hopefully this review is helpful in not letting it happen to others.

My family sent me a birthday gift using one of walmarts money services and nothing but problems from staff members. Interacted with four or five employees, two managers and what I suspect to be a bot from their corporate website. Horrible customer service experience from them except the employee who came in an hour late and the response I got from corporate which was purely factual and exactly what I needed.I also noticed the clothes Ive purchased from here recently, super poor quality. A belt which I worn once, completely fell apart in ways I didnt even know a belt could.Still love the company though just makes me hope that maybe they can train some of these employees a little better. They definitely have potential...

Went to grab a new pet carrier. The staff was friendly and store was clean. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes time.

Great customer service, far better then the Walmart closet to my house. My only complaint would be that it needs more cashiers around busy times but even then, they had more than your average Walmart.

It sucked...bought a straight talk phone, but maybe not the one I wanted. All the phones are locked up behind cabinets that u cant see through - they arent labeled correctly if at all. The phone I got was not the one I asked for it just happened to b in same cabinet and the right price, so I asked for it. After waiting 20min for someone to assist me - I finally went to the counter and asked for assistance. Also, Idk if I fit the profile of a person who shoplifts, but I definitely noticed the high volume of secret shoppers casually shopping around...it was a little invasive and really obvious. Sorry people steal from you Walmart, but then again you rob people everyday...huh!?!!! U make plenty of money - do something better with it or dont, but people in glass houses should throw stones...someone should hold u accountable for what you steal..thats it, for now, bye

If I could give this store zero Stars I would. All the way from the outdoors Department to their Electronics to their front end, No kind of customer service, or knowledge of their department. And they need to know that without the customers they wouldnt have a job to put food on their table.

Sorry I gotta revise my review cause me and a friend went there for groceries went through self check out and when were done two customer service ladies came up on us as If we were trying to steal and even though the lady had a handheld system that shows her whats rung up or not she still had to question us ! I was humiliated never have I been question liked a thief n I go there ALOT and even recognized the one girl from previous visits ....smh better stop and think before you go off halfcocked n make assumptions

So many employees, yet ONLY 1 register open besides self check out! And tooooooo many unmasked people that dont get the 6ft distance. Just Disappointed!!!! And definitely not waiting around...

The store is well stocked and clean. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is that all the parking is up hill going back to your car.

My God! I havent seen such incompetence in a while. Sadly, this is not the employees fault, this is a reflection of poor training, and incompetent managers and supervisors. In one single line I experienced: a cashier throwing the change to a Hispanic customer, a cashier leaving her register several times because she didnt know how to process something, and a supervisor telling me that he couldnt do anything, nor come to me, because he was supervising the self checkout... SMH! I dont think this is what Sam Walton left as a company. Get it together!

So you can only buy butane in the tobacco line... The tobacco line has zero item restrictions... They have zero lines open for speedy checkout and self checkout doesnt accept cash.. So a 2 min tun into the store to buy some butane turned into a 30 min wait... Read that again 30 mins.. Because the people ahead of me withs carts full of groceries....not buying tobacco didnt wanna switch to any of the other open lanes...

This one is tied for my least favorite walmart in the Springs. Customer service is lacking, lines get out of control, customers get rowdy. It took me 30 mins at customer service because they had one person working. They didnt call another employee over until the line was past the registers. The only reason I go here is because they tend to have what every other walmart is out of.

Great store with good deals. Their meat section had some empty areas but it is a Friday before Labor Day weekend.

Lot of people talk bad about this store because of its location. Im here to tell you that this store has ten times better customer service than the 8th Street location. Somebody was there to assist me in sporting goods and when I needed someone in automotive their response time was excellent. At the 8th Street location you cant find anyone from health and beauty aid all the way to toys. Thats 6 different departments and when you call for help be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. As far as Im concerned Platte and chelton location may be in bad neighborhood but customer service is excellent

Today we went looking for school supplies. We found 1 out of three items. Thats my only complain. On the other side a lady helped us both times and even walked over to the normal place of the products. It is for this reason I give you 5 stars.

The pharmacy here is the best. I had issues transferring a prescription from Florida to Colorado via Walgreens. The Walmart pharmacy went above and beyond too make sure I got my meds. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I went in for a wireless xbox one controller. They had none. I was able to get a decent wired one tho and also a nice 8×7ft atea tug for 22 and two bras for 25 all together. I felt good when I left.

My trip Saturday to customer service area was absolutely the worst experience of my life shopping. I called corporate who then had manager Bianica contact me. She was an angel. Very friendly, helpful and apolligic regarding the employees behavior in Customer Service last Saturday. She corrected my problem with ease, an I am forever grateful. I was losing all hope for mankind. Had she not been out of this world regarding quality customer service we would have never returned to a Wal Mart. Super busy!! But that comes with the growing population. They seem to manage pretty well despite it. One manager was very helpful when I had an issue with clothing.

DISABLED VET EXPERIENCE WITH SERVICE DEPARTMENT: Bought a car before leaving Texas to move here. Took it to a Walmart in Texas to have the tires balanced and rotated. Paid for the lifetime balance and rotate. Well turns out the tires were worse in this position so I figure hey I’ll just go to a Walmart in Colorado Springs and rotate them back where they were. After all I did buy the lifetime rotate and balance. 2,500 miles later this Walmart tells me there’s too much wear and they can’t touch them. What??? Ok, ok. I get it Coorperate policy. Texas Walmart messed up and should have never touch the tires. This guy in Colorado Springs has a chance to make it right but chose to aggravate the situation and stand his ground on Coorperate policy. Well I hope you feel like a big man chief. Where were you when I was in Afghanistan? Enjoying your freedom I bet.

Lady employee in garden dept was very helpful with the loading of a bbq grill. She gathered 3 guys and loaded the heavy grill.All were great attitude customer oriented employees. Thank you!

I switched to doing online order/pick up. Its been really nice to avoid the crowds. They do a decent job of letting you know if they are out if things/substitutions. I still go in to pick up my own produce.
