I would highly recommend Johnson Storage & Moving. They did a great job with my move and were cheaper then the other quotes I received. My movers showed up on time and there was no damage done to any of my items for both the pickup and delivery.
Worst move out of 7. First and foremost, this company is too small to compete with household moves. They are always short staffed and cannot afford to pay for quality employees. Second, the front office cannot conduct simple, common tasks such as coordinating dates/times, truck availability, crew assignments, nor proper packing materials.Both the packing and load crews required extensive supervision at all times. They looked to cut corners and had no concern of our personal belongings. Long story short, we received our goods at destination with lost items and damages - those items where we weren’t able to supervise. Items we just thrown into boxes with wrapping.All damages and lost items could have been avoided if the company had better training for their employees and systems to track and organize items during storage/shipment.On a positive note, lead packer, Savannah, was very friendly and professional. She attempted to take care of our items and oversee her assistant. Unfortunately, her assistant refused to listen and continue his unacceptable work ethic.
Avril and Steven were so pleasant to work with. They were fast, courteous qhen it came to our belongings. This was the least stressful part of our move. They were on time, and very quickly, got to work. Also very knowledgeable to our situation and moving needs. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends, and using anytime we need to move in the future.

Rachael and Alicia did an excellent job packing our house up. They were given three days but completed the job in two days. We have moved over eight times across the US for military moves. I would say these two have been the best so far. Awesome job.

The Johnson Moving and Storage team are the REAL DEAL - especially the crew we had of Steven, Marvin, and DeShaun. They moved all of our stuff into our home in under 2 hours and were extremely friendly and professional throughout the job. They also were communicative about the furniture and other items that they saw that were damaged or missing parts from our move that originated in CA. After having an awful experience of packers and movers in CA, it was extremely refreshing and assuring to have such a positive experience with the Johnson Team.
Avril P. was professional throughout the entire process. She informed me when enroute and that there was traffic at Ft Carson gate during her arrival. She did an excellent job on packing, inventorying and great attitude. A wholesome person to talk to.
For Colorado Springs/military related move/special needs families,For three consecutive days, I was supposed to have packing services provided at my home. JSM did absolutely nothing to communicate their timelines and failed to show up entirely on the first two days despite having agreed to this date and this service through their surveyor.To add insult to injury, an unidentified associate with JSM arrived on the third day to inform me that she did not have the necessary packing supplies (wardrobe boxes) and would return with them on this same day. This not only became false when she did not return or contact me at all, I had to reach out to United/JSM the next morning to find out that someone who was never inside of my home had marked my home as unfit for service and unsanitary.I reiterate that this woman never stepped inside my home, but even so..I routinely have my home visited by state mandated reporters throughout the week, every week, since my child participates in intervention services such as physical and occupational therapy.JSM felt justified in the assertion that my home is suitable for the state but not JSM. I feel justified in my assertion to share with you that I was humiliated and became very much distraught by my traumatic experience with JSM during an already incredibly stressful time. I will never consider them for any sort of service regardless of its context and I very much encourage you to do the same.
Worst move ever. We have moved a number of times, and this was the worst. Except for the driver - who was excellent, the rest of the team is a disaster.The packers were awful. They were late, did not have enough time, did not care. They broke many items. There were boxes that they literally dumped a desk drawer in a box. Most everything was labeled Decor. It was so mixed up unpacking literally took months to find things. When they were packing, I asked them to label things properly and was told this is how we have to do it or we get in trouble. Clothes were just dumped in boxes.When we got to our location, they damaged the house. They overflowed a toilet and walked away leaving it to run. New flooring was damaged and obviously there was a terrible mess. The driver noted it on his paperwork, and Johnson denied the claim for damages.9 months after the move our claim is still not settled. Johnson said These things take time. When I said I was going to escalate it to my attorney the response is Do what you have to do. They absolutely DO NOT CARE AT ALL.They are not covering and reasonable portion of the damage they did to out belongings. After inspections by their people, pictures, etc. on one valuable piece of art they say there is no evidence that the art is signed. Of course there is and their representatives saw it and it is in the pictures they have. This is the type of excuse they use on everything.As mentioned we have used other movers. You should too. There are much better, more professional, higher quality companies out there. There are companies that actually care. Use those.

What do you call a shipping company that incorrectly fills out the most important document in an international maritime shipment, the Bill of Lading? Well incompetent for one but Johnson International of Centennial, Colorado by name. They didn’t just make a trivial error, they improperly consigned the contents of my twenty foot container full of my household items that included my art collection, my furniture, my books,, my collection.of antique maps, my photographs as well as items recently bought for an inn I intended to build to the director of the moving company that was to transport my container from port to its ultimate destination inland. This was a move from Oakland to Buenaventura, Colombia by sea then overland to Cali. Johnson International hired third parties to do each of the segments. Those were fine. Johnson International had one task, To fill out the legal documentation stating ownership and contents in a document called a Bill of Lading. It was my container of goods. I had obtained the necessary import dispensation from the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations that permits a Colombian national to bring personal property duty free. The Bill of Lading was not consigned to me nor was my name even on the it. The person whose name was on it didn’t own the goods, didn’t have the right of import duty free and could not do anything. Fixing a Bill of Lading requires a court order. In Colombia. It required getting a lawyer, going to a notary public in Colombia making a statement and filing the petition. That whole process took over ten weeks meanwhile I was accumulating demurrage and detention fees which came to over $13,000 USD. I had paid Johnson International well over five thousand dollars included a $95 USD fee explicitly for them to handle the Bill of Lading. A Bill of Lading is a legal document that includes a detailed list of items in the container, information about the shipper and the owner of the goods inside the container including all contact information both at the point of departure and at the ultimate destination. Not only did Johnson International failed to put down my name as the consignee but it failed to include a phone number or an email address. Only my address in Colombia was on the Bill of Lading. $13,000 to salvage my property from disposal all because Johnson International did not properly consign the container to me but to a manager of a trucking company in Colombia. Johnson International in emails assured me that they would assist me financially and they get some fees waived but I still had to pay out of my pocket over $13,000 USD to regain my property. “
The whole team in Colorado was wonderful to work with when it came to getting all of my stuff taken care of. I booked a consult with Ethan, and Ethan put me in touch with Angie, who reached out the next day. I will never use another U haul. I would highly recommend this service. The only reason why I gave this service 4/5 stars is because my belongings were delayed by a week. However, I was able to get 100$ a day for each day that my items were delayed. My washer and dryer were damaged in the process, and the movers in the new state damaged a door. The whole process from claims to getting my delayed delivery money (around 1,200$ total) took around a month to receive. I know it sounds like a headache, and it kinda was, but Angie was extremely understanding and very willing to help me the whole way from CO to my new state. This was my first time using a moving service, and I will do it again.

Worst moving company ever! Showed up 24hrs late. Didnt bring the right equipment. Took days for the truck to actually leave for the destination. Broke custom furniture and antiques. Didnt deliver 3 TVs and more. Unprofessional and liars. ABSOLUTELY ZERO INTEGRITY!!!!!!!

Everyone that I encountered was professional, courteous, kind, and thoughtful. Moving is a stressful time so choose your moving company wisely. Johnson Storage was punctual, communicative, and professional in every way. Not even a chip or scratch on anything they moved. Nothing got lost, the driver estimated when my things would arrive, and as the date approached, he setup an exact date and time. No damage to either the home I left or the home I moved into. This was a long distance move (Colorado to Florida). I saw the same friendly truck driver and truck in Florida that picked up my things in Colorado. I highly recommend.

The operational rep was very helpful and great to work with, the driver of the truck was very friendly and did a great job managing and hiring reliable crews. The estimator we worked with was great to begin with but could have been more transparent when drafting the contract and expectations when preparing for moving day.

I’m honestly just shocked at how our moving experience went. I want to first say something positive and thank Joe Beckwith for his sincere apology and his kind gesture when our movers did not show up. Third day is the charm and they finally came. It was only two men and they made sure I knew that this was unplanned for them and one man said he was put in charge and hadn’t done this before about 12 times. Of course I forgot their names. The one in charge was so negative and made it adamant he did not want to be here. After much complaining for the first hour I told them as long as they just unpack my kitchen and attempt to put my beds together I wouldn’t make them unpack my stuff because I was already sick of the negativity. They were extremely slow. We have spent the day moving things in the living room meant for the kitchen and upstairs rooms. Every single box had marked which room it goes in and I even told them if they didn’t know to just put in the storage closet. They either asked about every box or put it in the wrong spot. I literally have a box labeled “kitchen utensils” in my living room and boxes labeled Master Bedroom in my living room. When I told them where things went when they came through the door and it was a room upstairs they always were annoyed. They broke my couch trying to cram it in the door, not even asking if there was another option. (There was! We have a gate in the back that they could have easily gone through with help of my husbands truck) which took a chunk out of the stair wall and scratched up the door. They asked my husband to help moving several things. I understand it’s a physical job but it’s their job and the negativity was unbelievable. If you believe it’s not a 2 person job, please send more than two people. These men obviously hate their job and made this experience very unpleasant.

Johnson moving and storage handled a long distance move for me in record time. The quote was handled online through Mayflower and we received a very competitive rate that would also reduce if we came in underweight.The only hiccup was on the day of pickup, the people who were supposed to help our driver load the truck didn’t show up for about 4 hours after the driver started loading the truck. Once they arrived everything went very smoothly.The truck was loaded on a Friday, and arrived at our cross country destination on Monday. We didn’t spend a single day in our new home without our furniture. Our driver and move coordinator were in touch with us for the whole experience to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Would do business with them again.
I had a move scheduled today with an arrival time of 8-10am. The gentlemen who came to pack my HHGs were Rob and Rodney; they were on time and they were absolutely amazing. They were courteous, professional, and very thoughtful with how they handled my HHGs. The estimator estimated the weight incorrectly so the guys weren’t expecting as much stuff but, thankfully, they had plenty of boxes and brown paper to cover my two extra crates of HHGs. They worked from 9am to almost 8pm and had a great attitude the entire time. I hope Johnson Moving Co recognizes Rodney’s and Rob’s professionalism and excellent customer service!
Horrible company. Crews showed up without supplies they needed (boxes, markers, pens, etc..) They didnt want to box a lot of our stuff due to not having the boxes they needed. (Not our fault) Their lead person blew our toilet up and threw paper towels in our toilet stopping it up and not telling us. Didnt show up the first day and never bothered to call us. Cut out early leaving things undone for the independent movers to have to deal with.

I had packing, loading, transport, unloading and set-up done, and all of the moving staff were fabulous! Padding around doorways, paper/plastic on the floors, very hard workers, and very friendly as well. Through the considerable efforts of Ken Schappert and Angie Ferreira at Johnson Moving & Storage, our belongings were rescued from a different out-of-state moving company. That company loaded up our things on July 15 but were unable to find a driver to deliver. They couldn’t even give us an estimate for delivery. We reached out to Ken Schappert at Johnson Moving & Storage, and he was able to transfer our goods to his company, and they were delivered in a timely and professional manner. Movers showed up as a local crew to assist with unloading my long-distance move. They were professional, on-time, and worked hard and fast. Cant recommend them enough and will use again.
I had a truck parked at my community that was blocking someone from moving their car. They were allowed to park in the middle of the place to reduce the length of their trip from truck to apartment under one condition, that they move if someone needed to leave. The blocked car needed only a couple feet to be able to back out. I went to ask the movers if they could move the truck a few feet forward, so that the car at the very end of the truck could move. The gentleman I spoke with said that they were done and that it would be no problem, they were waiting for the recipient to sign a couple papers and then the other gentleman would move it. I waited 15 minutes and then went out there to see what the hold up was. I asked what was going on and said that I only need the truck to move a couple feet forward. I was met with expletives, sass and a bad attitude. They were securing the remaining cargo in the truck, which is understandable, but the response and attitude I received were not. Explain that something needs to be done before you move, rather than make false promises. I would never recommend this company if you want a respectable and level-headed person delivering your cargo.I look forward to your copy and paste response below.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! They did a move for me last week and deliberately kept the estimate sloppy and ambiguous so they could over charge us. I just heard back from their client relations VP who does not care at all. Their day workers are confrontational and unprofessional.. Save yourself the lawyer fees because you will need a lawyer if you use this company!
We have been waiting for two weeks to receive numerous items that we are missing. We are figuring two crates. A lot of what is missing can not be replaced including furniture and a tool chest with tools that belonged to my father. I have called numerous times, but no one from the company calls to update me with information. Very frustrating. Thousands of dollars in items unaccounted for.
Was an all-around good cross country move. Moving across country is stressful. But they made it less stressful, and kept in touch with us so we knew what was going and where our belongings were. Would recommend, and would use again.
Weve moved interstate several times over the decades. The last two have been with companies affiliated with United. Both have been excellent experiences.We had a team of two from Johnson United help with packing fragile things. They showed up when they promised and worked HARD for over six hours, taking only a short break for lunch. They were positive, helpful, and efficient.Two days later, the loading crew arrived. They too were amazing...in attitude, helpfulness, hard work. When the six of them pulled up in three trucks, it was like the army had arrived! Even the neighbors noticed in a positive way. :) It was clear from the beginning that their number one goal was to give us a great experience--and they did. We appreciated them and I hope they knew it.Moving is always stressful. But thanks to Johnson United for making the first part of this relocation a lot easier.
If I could give a no star I would. I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication. Management has been a pain to get a hold of. When they delivered our house hold goods we were missing a crate as well as a couch. I know the couch isn’t in said crate because we had someone else’s couch... also they said they found the crate and are working on locating the couch. It’s been 6 days since. Management says they will call you right back and then days later I am here still trying to get I touch with someone.
Johnsons upfront service was outstanding, and the fact that they were associated with United Van Lines, which wed used before, seemed a good thing. But then came the part wed never experienced before, when some of our goods were damaged. We had full replacement value insurance, but they tried to avoid payment for everything by ignoring the recommendations of their damage inspector and claiming lower value than actual replacement cost. The two problems were poor packing (which they had done) and their mishandling of fragile goods. The one thing that we didnt realize was that we owned one high value item (defined as valued higher than $100 per pound weight) which they transported and which they broke (glass vase). So because we hadnt declared it as high value, we only recovered a fraction of its actual value. We had to reject the first check they offered because it was only about half of what they owed, and they did finally settle for the full amount. But it took 3 months to get everything taken care of. Great service until something goes wrong. If theyre really striving for 5 star service every time, like their owner claims, they have a long, long way to go.
Overall the experience was good. They worked hard the whole way through. A couple days after they unloaded our stuff the driver called me from Ohio to let me know that he found one of our boxes that was not unloaded into our home and sent it to us using priority mail and received it the next day. The lady from the office was really kind and updated me everyday where our things were. I recommend this company highly.
It was an excellent experience working with Johnson Storage and Moving. Stan and his crew were there when they said theyd said they be there and did a professional job from start to finish. They really took care of my belongings. Extra care was given to my delicate items, like my T.V. sets and mirrors, and furniture. On a scale of one to five, Id have to give them five stars.
Used Johnson Storage two times within 6 months and will go back to them again and again. From the first visit from the gentleman who gave us an estimate to the final box being unloaded I didnt worry a bit. I witnesses one of the packers wrap my husbands service shadowbox with the care that he would give one of his own possessions. That did it for me. The customer service they offered from beginning to end was A+. I recommend them to all my military friends!!
Awful company!!! Don’t use them. They were a day late, left things behind that I had to take when we moved, and had a ton of damage. They didn’t even wrap this flower pot!! Absolutely disgusting service. I wouldn’t even give them one star.

After a rough start with some incorrect information from their new estimator it wasnt looking good for our move from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque. However, our driver Ty was fabulous and went out of his way (including moving back his own time off) to make sure that my family was taken care of. Belinda checked in every step of the way during the move and the two of them took what could have been a horrible situation to one that was perfect. I really appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond to help someone out. Ty deserves an award for his fantastic attitude and customer service!
Horrible customer service, forgot where their business comes from. Showed up 3hrs late to pack, no apology, packing took 2hrs longer than contract. On load day did not even show up due to them being late to get through a community security gate. Did not call me at all. Finally I was contacted by a 3rd party and said they were not coming to pick up packed goods 4pm when called the original showtime was 8-10am. Company VP apparently made the decision to not do the job, I guess they cannot take honesty feedback... Hope there is a quick culture or management change.Johnson, look at your reviews something changed in your company 3-4 months ago in 2019. Reviews go from 4-5 Star to a gradual decline to 1-2 star ratings. Someone in management please look into your scheduling, customer service and communications process with customers b/c it is lacking less than 1 star.
Everything was exactly as scheduled. packers arrived and did their work very efficiently. The driver was a very good manager of the loading process and arrived exactly when promised. The unloading crew were real troopers as they were forced to shuttle the delivery as the truck could not turn around at the top of the mountain.Good job.We will have a claim due to damage in the unloading of my motorcycle by the local helper and I cannot comment on that at this time.

The worst company I have EVER dealt with in my life. They give a pick up window between 8 to 5, so I take the day off. The original pick up window was communicated by voicemail for Thursday 11-12. They miss their window, so I call and ask for a status and they pushed it to 3-5. They miss it again, I call them again, they push it to 7-8, they miss it again, I call them again and they said they are on their way, be there in 30 minutes. They miss it again, they dont answer. I call on Friday morning as soon as they open and they say they will call me back when they have a day to pick up. I call them at 5pm and they say Saturday at 9-11, and I ask if they are actually showing up this time and the general manager literally laughs at me. They never called me once during this entire chain of events, I had to call them to get any kind of information. They also kept my stuff in storage for two weeks. They packed on May 30th and it wont be delivered until June 17th, its a 12 hour drive to its destination. This company is absolute trash, avoid it like the plague.
Arrived late with wrong moving equipment. Used day labor to load truck and many items of furniture were broken. Loading supervised by driver/crew chief took a day and a half. Job finished at 5 am of the third day. Very dissatisfied.

One of the worst experiences I can remember. Ive moved dozens of times due to work. ...I speak from experience. Driver tore up our driveway upon pick up of goods. Promised a refund based on weight. ...However driver never turned in any paper work. I tried to offset the cost of original estimate and filled a 26 box truck, and took thousands of pounds off the load and no one could ever claim what was moved or the amount. Never understood how the boxes worked (was told we could pick up new). A few days before the move I was told someone would be at office so I could pick up boxes and no one was there. Driver never communicated drop off info and on the day of move in was 90 min late. Then I had to go to an ATM to pay his local people who unloaded the truck. Then after move I was charged a substantial amount to get the very used boxes picked up....so many other issues to lengthy to explain here. But, I would do anything to let people know how horrible this company is. I really dont want to leave even one star but I cannot post if I dont.
Outstanding service both in the planning and throughout the move. Kept us informed of the planning stages leading to the day of the pack out. Carefully coordinated the delivery date and timing leaving no guesses. Absolutely the best move weve experienced of the 18 moves in 30 years. Justin coordinated the contract taking time to explain and respond to questions for clarification. Provided excellent customer service. Belinda managed the move from pick up to delivery with great skill and some of the best customer service we can remember. She is an excellent example of superb customer contact. We always felt at ease speaking with her and knowing we were being cared for during this stressful time. Our driver, Ken, was the best. Friendly, very courteous, efficient, and with an excellent sense of humor. He kept the load and unload teams working safely and efficiently throughout but took good care of them as well. All of the team members appreciated his management of the load and unload process and how he worked to gel and bond them into a smoothly operating team. He checked items as they were loaded and unloaded to be sure they were handled properly and safely. He kept the areas clean around the trailer as well as in both the pack out and delivery homes. He and Belinda were professionals in every sense of the word in managing the move. Weve recommended Johnson Storage to many of our friends who are considering moves. We certainly hope they take advantage of this excellent organization. Thanks to all.

You would think a company with over 100 years of experience would know how to manage their warehouse. Our household goods had to go into storage after arriving because our house was not ready. After holding our stuff for two weeks, they delivered it. This is where the problems began. The truck did not deliver the full shipment and had to return to the warehouse to find our remaining items. On the second delivery, we noticed items clearly missing and some items that came off the truck did not even belong to us. We have items missing from every part of our house to the point that every room has non-functioning items. Couch with no cushions, table with no chairs, table with no legs, beds with no parts, 5-piece sectional missing 2 sections, piano missing a leg, etc etc. This plus the damage to the furniture that was delivered. It has been over a week and zero communication from this business. No attempt to contact us and provide updates. How do you lose part of a shipment that was delivered in full to your warehouse??? Bar-coded inventory management and distribution...uh no, I dont think so. There is no inventory management occurring at this business. Do not use this company to move your household goods or even bother to store it...it will be lost and/or damaged.
Worse moving company ever!!! Not only they broke items while packing and didnt notify us, they stole my wallet and when we called the cops, it magically appeared in our bedroom, in my closet, in a laundry basket that we were taking with us. We got our shipment in 2 different deliveries. With our 1st one, they broke our practically new dryer thats worth about $1,000. With our 2nd shipment, well where to start. We had told that certain things that we had put in our kitchen pantry, not to touch it, they did. They had gone through literally every single box of ours. They ripped the legs off a table. My husband had put locks on his military boxes, they broke those off and stole expensive military gear. Thats a federal offense. They also stole our computer. They broke so many other items, I lost count. If I could post pictures, I would. We found pieces of the locks in the crate they poorly put our stuff in. Not only I am filing a police report that hopefully it will end up in an arrest. This company needs to be shut down. I feel completely violated and disgusted. From now we will move our selves unless its overseas. I am beyond livid. I dont even want my stuff.
Make sure you ask for Belinda to handle your move and for Ty as your driver if you can at all swing them...customer service is their middle name. We had a few rough issues along the way, but these two went to large extremes to make sure we were happy and to compensate for the rough issues. We would definitely use them again.
Numerous problems make me wish I never moved! What makes it worse is that United Customer service gives you the run around and tries to deny any wrong-doing. The movers left our stuff outside during a thunderstorm while they sat in their truck and stayed dry. They put a hole in my living room wall with my couch. The broke the threshold of my front door. When unloading the truck they ran the moving dolly off the side of the truck ramp multiple times. My carefully packed boxes smashed to the ground. Boxes marked fragile where stacked below boxes marked heavy. The SPIT sunflower seeds all throughout my new house! United Customer service is absolutely horrible. I spent weeks just trying to reach someone who would take my complaint. They just kept shifting my call around to someone new each week. Finally after months of complaining United hasnt done anything to resolve my problems and I am still finding damaged items.
I wish I could rate 0/5. I had an adjustable bed frame worth about $2500. It never made the move to our new location and they denied my claim. Now the mattress is sitting on the floor and I cant afford to replace it.
Everyone on the Johnson Storage & Moving Co. and United Van Lines team were timely, understanding and helpful. Everything that was promised, was done. We received our delivery timely and had virtually no issues. We would use their services again.
Had our household goods delivered through this company (military move). The guy who unloaded our belongings told me that I would be able to call their number once we had everything unpacked so they could pick up all the boxes and wrapping paper. Ive called multiple times, been transfered to different number and was basically told that they do not pick up the boxes except for the day of the move. Just know that if you go through them, you will be responsible for getting rid of all the packing materials yourself.
MILITARY BEWARE YOU WILL BE DELAYED RELENTLESSLY IF YOU TRY TO GET FRV ON A CLAIM. It started when they woefully underestimated the job. They sent a 3 man crew to fully box, and load up a 2400 sq. ft home to crate and ship overseas. Only 2 of them actually carried or packed anything. The other guy was in charge and only put on stickers and logged items on the inventory. On the second day, they stayed until after 1 AM. I had to help load to get them out of my house. They forgot to pack up all the items in my back yard, patio set, bbq, etc. and when called on it, asked if I could deliver the items to their warehouse! They are required to provide Full replacement value insurance on all military moves. When my goods arrived in Germany, they dropped the crate that contained my Grandfather clock. I sent photos, letters from approved appraisers and repair services (all supporting the total loss) and quotes for a new clock. They outsource their claims to a storefront email center in CA that only corresponds via email, fax or snail mail and they deliberately take 2-4 weeks between responses. After 2.5 years of hassle by their hire deception company (Claims Adjustment Technology)I have only received offers for HALF of what it costs to replace the clock. BEWARE.
They arrived when they said they would and persevered for 7 hours despite very hot temperatures and few, if any, breaks. They were professional and worked well as a team. I was pleased with their care to cover railings and their use of blankets. I would use them again.
Ill have to update this in the distance end. We packed our at the end of May 19. Estimator can in under, packets complained the whole time and were short staffed on both days. Also tried to argue what high-value is. The movers said the boxes were over packed and heavier than any they had seen in a while.
Ron and Nick are amazing. Request them when going through Johnsons!! They treat tour household goods like their own.....

Im a Professional van operator for united van lines... not going to say which agent I contract for.. but Johnsons united in denver,co are liars and crooks, if they cheat and Lie to the movers/van operators like me . I know Their dishonest to the customers... this is your worse choice inDenver, colrodo for a Quality and honest move ... please go else where even if its my competition...
This place is where customer service goes to die. Im so tired of calling a business who fails to deliver on time. If youre late, dont make me call you to find out I need to completely restructure my day around your inability to plan. If you have the mental capacity of a beanie baby, this company is for you.

Horrible!!! Damaged and stolen goods! The packers stole from me and the movers did not properly wrap anything like couches and tables with proper pads or shrink wrap, no they used brown paper wrap for everything, just great! Below is the police report I filed with El Paso county!- My wife and I are currently serving in the military and moved from Fort Carson to Alaska. The army contracted Johnston Moving and Storage out of Colorado Springs to pack and load our household goods. Weve finally unpacked everything and noticed missing items. The only two items missing out of all our stuff was my two pairs of shoes. Now I am aware of who packed the room with the shoes in them, Larry Cross, of Johnston Moving. Now im not racist at all, but the man was african american, and those shoes typically are VERY popular with young african american men, and being that he packed that room and that those were the only things missing other than my wifes medication, which is also commonly stolen, he is the person I am blaming, the other packer was downstairs the whole time. The Oxycodine was placed on the counter in the kitchen that I specifically stated not to remove anything from, as everything on that counter we were taking with us in the car. I reported this to the moving company right away because I noticed they were gone soon after, but I was informed to submit a police report. I waited to file a report until we arrived in Alaska so I can see if anything else was missing from our home goods, unfortunately there was. So what ever we can do to settle this, I am willing to do and once again the name of the man who I feel is at fault is Larry Cross.
The move was well put together, from the sales representative, move coordinator and driver. The team was very professional and addressed issues and concerns as they came up.
Our moving crew was wonderful in every way~on time, pleasant, and efficient.
We would NOT recommend you buy the extra insurance costing $1,000 as this company is NOT going to honor this contract nor will they reply to you when you contact them regarding damages. We watched as boxes were dropped in front of us and a large expensive tree pot was dropped in the van which broke into pieces. We had carpet damage but where the contract said 100 percent coverage this was not the case. We would tell you to look elsewhere before using this company.
