If you ever go to this place ask for Stephen Walter. The guy provided me with the best customer service from anyone or anywhere that Ive had in the last few years. I was blown away by the help and advice he offered.
I had a great experience here, I ran around all day trying to get a trailer and my vehicle wouldnt work according to the previous uhaul dealer I went to before hand, but the manager Jordan took a good amount of time out of his day to help get me squared away. He got me a new reservation and gave me his number so that If I had any additional issues I could contact him directly, hes a real stand up guy and the kind of manager that seems to care about the business hes managing. I will definitely be doing business with them as much as possible from now on.
Being in the military and being told you are leaving and have to pack all your stuff in less than a week is stressful enough. Now looking for a storage unit that was big enough for all my stuff was even harder. I stopped by this location knowing they had no units big enough to fit all of my stuff. But somehow the manager on duty that day Marco made a bunch of calls to accommodate me and made it happen. On top of that Jordan one of the employees there was super professional and polite. This location has been amazing in such a stressful time. You have earned my business while I’m stationed here and recommend everyone to come here. Thank you again for helping me out.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Husband and I made a reservation for a truck for this week to be picked up on Friday. Today, right before everything closes, U-Haul calls us to say our reservation has been canceled because they don’t have a truck. The lady didn’t care, was unprofessional, and when I asked for the soonest available, she didn’t have anything for weeks! But the closest she could do was have us pick up the truck several hours away?! We are a military family on a time limit! We don’t have luxuries like civilians…I don’t understand how you can book a truck, and then just cancel like no big deal! I won’t be using this company ever again! I don’t recommend using their services!
Marco and Thor got me all taken care of for my hitch install.Install for hitch was quick. I dropped off my car at 7am on a Saturday and had a call by about 1030.

Went here to see if a hitch and wiring could be installed on my SUV. Had gone to another u-haul place 2 years earlier for the same thing and the company had nothing for my vehicle. The people here found one in stock at another another location. They had it shipped and cleaned it up. Installed it quickly and were very helpful. It was a third of the price that is would have costed me going through the dealership. Dont know anything about the storage and renting end of the business but the installation of tow hitches went far beyond my expectations.

During the very busy moving season over Memorial Day weekend, there were lots of us arriving at opening time to pick up our trucks and they only had one guy working. Marco recommended we check in online as it would save time but their reservation system was having problems on their end. Marco was super rude and condescending and acted like we were the problem. Do not recommend this Uhaul location at all.
Great experience here. Had to wait a little bit but the shop manager I believe he said he was came out and helped me get a unit rented and even got my uhaul truck location changed to that one for free. He was a really nice guy and super helpful. The shop manager and I even helped another person load a super heavy coca cola vending machine onto a truck.
Rented a utility trailer for a day from them. Quick check-in, quick check-out, friendly staff that will make sure that all is in order. Will rent from this location again.
Out of all the u-haul places, this one is by far my favourite place to go. The staff are amazing here! They are always super helpful! They care about you and your time.The only downfall is the storage units outside have such a gap at the top of the door. There was so much dirt all over are stuff, for the few months it was there.
If you are looking to get a hitch installed here, save your time and go elsewhere. Appointment times are not a real concept here. You could be waiting up to 3 hours or longer before they even touch your car.

This Uhaul was so helpful for our family. We needed a hitch installed urgently. Not only did they get us in ASAP but they rushed and finished within 45 minutes for a hitch and lights! They were super helpful and really accommodating!

Have had a storage unit at this location for quite a few years. My husband rents all our moving trucks from them. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. My only real issue is the snow. Can you PLEASE shovel or plow so people dont have to trudge through it to get their property. More than once we jave had a mountain of snow in front of our unit we have had to jump over. Not a great experience in the cold.
My adventure started at the Academy location where I had reserved a cargo van the day before for pick up. The lady that helped us there was very unfriendly and told us we had to go to this location to get a van. We finally got a van an hour after our scheduled time. The staff at this location was helpful but still not friendly. The van we got smelled like rodent pee and needed an oil change. It worked out but I suggest using another company if you want actual customer service. I understand times are hard right now and people have to wear masks but a simple ”hello I’ll be right with you” goes a long way with people rather than making the customers feel ignored.
WARNING! These people do not have a clue. Terrible. If it is this hard to get started why would I trust you with my moving needs? Hold times are insane and then you get sent to a customer service line which is as helpful as not getting anyone at all. They wont call you back. They wont keep their promises. You will get up to the date you need to have stuff done by and they will tell you sorry we could not get what you needed, leaving you scrambling to make new arrangements. If you need thing to go as planned do not go with U-haul.
The General Manager Marco is amazing, he secured me a truck after I drove all around town after the rental I thought I secured fell through. He single handedly made my move and saved my day!
We payed more than $1,000 to have this location install a hitch on our SUV. Once installed we hit the road for a small road trip towing a camper with our two toddlers. Upon arriving at our destination nor more than 100 miles away my wife noticed something hanging from under the car. I got out to check on it and turns out they had not screwed the GAS TANK back in! Some bolts were holding it in thankfully, but half the bolts were gone and it was hanging down almost to the ground!We went to another U Haul location to have it fixed under warrantee, but I would not trust my vehicle or my life to this U Haul location ever again!
Nate did a great job installing a hitch on my fiancé’s new Cadillac. Jordan, the new General Manager of this location, is the nicest guy and promptly resolved an issue we had with getting the correct wiring harness. Just need a bench for your install customers to wait on. Thanks guys.

They are inept and incapable of doing their job. I tried to pick up my tuck after confirming twice that someone would be available to help. No one showed, no keys were left, and the office was closed. Called customer service and sat on hold for over 30 minutes before someone bothered answering the phone and was immediately transferred. Sat on hold another 20 minutes to be told sorry, no one is around to help you tonight. So they confined an appointment they did not intent to keep, customer service transfers rather than help, and basically they hope the aggravate you so much you go to another company rather than try and fix their mistakes.
Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had at any U-Haul. Needed a hitch for my little Subaru for a cargo tray and bike rack. Ordered, paid and scheduled online. Even that was easy. Showed up for my appointment and Lafayette and Paul were awesome. Lafayette did the install and I chatted with Paul while I waited. The friendliness and professionalism they both had and showed other customers was a breath of fresh air. This will be my go to location if I need anything else from U-Haul
Just wanted add the issue was resolved took 3 voicemails but finally someone reach out to my landlord and properly installed her wiring with another mechanic.Stephen took advantage of my landlord and didnt complete installation of her tow kit he left her wiring inside the vehicle and said there was NO way for him to feed it through. When confronted with a uhaul video of the same yr make and model of a proper installation of the wiring and that it can be feed out of the vehicle he said he would charge extra and watch the video to see what to do. NOT ELDERY OR WOMAN FRIENDLY
This is the 2nd time I’ve used this particular Uhaul dealer. There was something wrong with our reservation, like a computer glitch and a good line forming inside. The GM (Jennifer) was the only person there and all I have to say is, impressive. I’ve never seen someone able to do so much at one time. She fixed the issue we had, ran two registers at the same time while on the phone with corporate to get things ironed out. Line went fast, truck was great, return was great. Thank you Jennifer

We needed to get our propane tank refilled for our camper and seen they refilled tanks as we drove by so we came back. They have a button at the propane station to push to have someone come out. They weigh the tank then fill it. As they were filling our propane we asked some questions about our RV weight distribution hitch. Our ball keeps coming loose and isnt easy to get to tighten it down. They gladly checked it out and tried a few things. They couldnt immediately get it taken care of and asked if we were ok leaving it and picking it up tomorrow. We said no problem.Well, the only problem we had, was remembering which uhaul we dropped it off at. Once we figured that out, we didnt have to wait 10 minutes to get our hitch back and we were getting our second tank filled that easy. The guys and girls here were great and went beyond the typical uhaul.
The manager Nate was very rude. And not understanding traffic issues that were planned for in our trip. Unfortunately causing us to be behind about 30 minutes. His solution is to charge another day rental. I feel he could have handled the situation better and worked with us a little more to mitigate any additional charges.
This location in specific: Great helpful and kind staff. Easiest move and renting of equipment I’ve ever had! I’ll be back to rent from them anytime.
Just moved here from Nevada and needed to store my stuff until I find a home. They were more than accommodating. Angie went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She even helped us find help to unload our trucks. This place has some of the best customer service I have ever had.
Stopped in to grab some boxes for a move. My car was too small to hold all of the boxes, but Brandon was awesome. He was able to get them in ny trunk and tied it all down for me. Great customer service!
Great service, good experience.I was originally quoted a $400+ plus trailer hitch install for my vehicle. The manager (i think?) said that cant be correct cause there is no way it will take 3 hours. So he waived the labor cost and got it down to $200. It turns out it does take 3 hours and is a very painful install. But he kept the $200 price for me despite this. Its nice when someone sticks by their word and does a great job on your vehicle. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I returned a truck to this location approx a month ago and rented and returned a truck from them a few days ago. In both cases, their customer service was excellent. Jennifer Hudson is amazing and deserves a pat on the back (or a high five) for the way she treats people. I would totally recommend this location for your moving/storage needs!
Tim is the best at what he does he went above and beyond what he promised to do to get our camper legal, road worthy, and compliant with Colorado law. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and saved us $. He made the experience easy and educated us on trailer schematics. Customer Service is rare these days and the care we got from Tim is worth talking about Im definitely coming back and recommending this place to friends.
ZERO STARS. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Go to the one on Barnes. The lady at the counter here forced me to use all the check in online options even though I made the reservation online and chose to NOT do that process because I prefer to interact with an actual person for this sort of business. If they are going to force me to do this all online then tell me what exactly do they get paid to do?! I did the same process for the Barnes location and it was more than pleasant, how can things be so different? I blame the staff here, what a freaking joke. Too many other options in town, avoid this place and force them to improve their business practices.
Pretty awful knowledge of how scheduling and vehicle maintenance works. Dropped my van off twice by appointment. Each time I came back 3 hours later to find out they have not touched the vehicle. Kind of absurd. In the end I could not get the wiring done.

I find this uhaul facility one of the best we have worked with. Everyone was very helpful after other uhaul loctions couldnt help us . They went above and beyond helping us . Very friendly staff. After dealingwith 4 other locations this one helped with everything we needed .
These guys are the S*^t!! Came in for a dolly rental and then my trailer lights werent functioning. Seth and Brandon laid under my.truck until it was fixed! I got my dolly. I wouldnt rent from anywhere else! These guys truly go above and beyound!

These guys were friendly, super quick and the truck I rented was in great shape. Much better than my usual UHaul experiences from other stores.
Shoddy workmanship, unethical business practices and rude staff. They installed a hitch but didn’t install the wiring properly. They didn’t honor my warranty and charged me for the repair. When I went for the repair, there was no mechanic on duty and I had to go someplace else. When I insisted that they honor their warranty, the staff screamed at me and threatened to call the police. I’m a lifelong UHaul customer and I’ve never seen such a terrible dealership.
Best service! We were having trouble with some trailer wiring and the last uhaul we were at when we left California pretty much gave us the finger. These guys went above and beyond fixing it and saved us a ton of money! I would give a thousand stars if I could. They made my week and saved our move from being a total disaster!
Ive been storing here for almost two years straight. Never complained once.. about anything... Never made a peep about rate increases, lack of properly trained people who are authorized to take payment... Not a word about anything... Thus far today. Ive been sitting in this office waiting for ANYONE to come to the front who can help.. for now 30 minutes. This is utterly disgraceful. And Im not a very forgiving person in general, less so when Im overpaying for your services... So for that lack of service youve earned 1 star and a negative review. My time is just as important as your employees which are far and few between today...however... The mechanic who came in to I guess check on the office was kind enough to figure out your system so I could go home finally. Give him a raise and research the rest of your crew assigned to this location. 8-17-17 6:07 pm.
So done with uhal. They screwed my over not once, not twice but THREE times!!! I showed up to get the truck I reserved ON THE PHONE WITH THE DIRECT LOCATION, and what do you know.... not only are the people so rude but THEY HAVE NO TRUCK! Oh your pod is leaving in 3 hours without your stuff? Oh well, NEXT person please. Don’t come here. Go to aaa storage on Platte and eddison. They are so kind and they had a truck for us! So our stuff got into the pod and onto Montana. Good luck dealing with these guys if you decide to go. I give them a solid F.
If I could give them a zero I would. Trash of a business and will never get a cent of my money again! Why tell a guy his car will take “like 15 minutes” to have the simplest hitch put on, and then at 2 hours later sayin “it’ll be like 30 minutes”! Would’ve taken less time and strain to take it LITERALLY anywhere else!

Beware of this office! I called this specific location to reserve a moving truck. They took my credit card information told me i had a reservation and to show up at a specific time. Luckily i had to call to change the reservation and had to call them, thats when i found out they didnt make the reservation they saved it as a quote. I ended up having to move 2 days later because they werent even going to have the truck THEY said i reserved. After that Ashley the person i spoke with offered NO solutions what so ever. BAD customer service! I am thinking about taking them to small claims court to recouperate my losses on having to move 2 days late.... thanks for nothing powers storage and u haul

Weve dropped off stuff in there that we dont want in the house and havent figured out if were going to sell donate or just get rid of! Definitely glad we came here! Allison was extremely helpful. I tried calling for different rates on the truck. Even though we couldnt do anything with the price she was super helpful in trying to do something for us.
Worse move ever. Arrived to U-Haul to return my mammoth of a truck expecting my luck to worsen. Surprise surprise, I arrived on a day where there seemed to be some kind of U-Haul convention. But you know what, the staff there (Especially Tim and Seth) made my turn in so much easier compared to other U-Hauls. Thanks for everything guys.
Best U-Haul in town. The small Neighborhood Dealers tend to mess up frequently. Had one try and charge me $45 to detach a car dolly, this location never mentioned a charge or the possibility for one. As a Disabled Veteran, I would recommend this location over other closer ones.
Absolutely trash store. Made an appointment to get a hitch on my jeep at 1pm. Had to put my credit card on it just to schedule the appointment. Showed up and wasnt even spoken to until 1:40pm. Gave them my keys and walked to Walmart and they called saying that it wouldnt be done for 3 hours when I was originally told it would take 1. Then they told me that double booked appointments for 1pm and the lady that was BEHIND ME IN LINE got her vehicle done first.

Wow cant even get a price on a storage unit without giving phone or email, I am not committing to anything and do not want to risk spam or follow up calls, or worse yet selling that info. I just called to get an idea of availability and cost. If you can not provide that without getting personal I will work with one of a dozen other facilities in the area that have, I was just looking to see if you were even competitive. Guess not.
Place was very busy when I arrived, service took a bit longer than anticipated. Staff were all very friendly and they did an excellent job. I definitely recommend this location for moving/towing/trailer needs.
Thought I walked out the door with a great price. WRONG went from being obligated to pay $140 TO SOMEHOW NEEDING TO PAY $804 ON TOP OF A $70 THAT WAS CHARGED TO MY ACCOUNT FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $1,014 !?!?!On top of all of this non-sense all I rented was a TRAILER AND my trailer brake light didnt even work !!!!!!!!Would give zero stars for this terrible experience if I could.
This place is expensive, 180$ a month for a unit thats not climate controlled. And they charge extra for 24 hour access. Also, you cannot use their power even if they say you can- because then youre accused of stealing and if you stay in your unit for too long (even a couple hours once a month ) then theyll also accuse you of living in your unit. I just got evicted today for those two same reasons. Ive been there for about two years! And they arent even willing to discuss and go look in the unit to show I dont ever live In There. Its a place of crooks. Customer service sucks. They say they have security and they dont. The alarm is always going off randomly while Im there and theyll lock you in your unit if you close the door behind you. I wouldnt ever recommend this place to anyone. I miss chris the gm. The new guy Cody is ridiculous.

Second time Ive been here in 2-3 weeks, on a Saturday. Literally the longest Ive ever waited in a line. I told myself Ill give them another chance, but Im not coming back. There are trailers all over the lot, you cant even get thru. No organization, such a cluster. Its insane. Brandon, while crazy, actually seems interested in helping people, but if you dont get more people working, particularly on the weekends, nobody is ever going to go thru this hell again.
We decided to move ourselves thinking we can do it with no problems aaaaaand surprise, surprise this has been the worse move Everrrrrrr! I cannot see how people pack and move for a living. Our backs, bones and souls hurt 😂😂😂 We are definitely too old for this and probably shoulda let Military transportation move us. 🤷🏻♀️ We had a little miscommunication with U-Haul customer service but was reassured by the last rep we spoke with that they would honor what was notated. We didn’t fret and was greeted by Tim who handled our turn in. We explained the basics and he was able to talk with Seth about the miscommunication on charges immediately. Without hesitation Seth made the decision to honor what was notated on the account and had us on our way with no worries. They are sooooooo friendly and have a caring disposition when handling customers. They entertain everyone during the short wait for service. They do get busy but they hustle and never lose their cool. I personally wouldn’t want their job as some people seem to complain just to complain. These guys are the real deal and run a smooth business, who do genuinely care about their customers.
I had to use this location when I moved away 4 years ago. I have been trying to get a hold of them for several months by phone and they never answer. I tried emailing and contact through customer service. No one ever responds. They sure harrass you and contact you if money is owed 30 seconds beyond the due date, but not when you need them. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

Unless these categories match you, DONT APPLY! Hellmers friends and family oh and thet pretty lady are being hired on at upwards of $20.00+ with no Uhaul experience, surpassing people who been loyal for 5-10 years slaving away at bare bones minimum wages. Theres Something wrong when a Petty lady starts out @18.50 an hour, making more than a general manager working 60 -75 house a week. With years of experience. Hellmers greed and horrible Mistreatment of Hard working Americans is being tolerated by billionaire Joe Shone CEO Of Uhaul. I Highly doubt thats how this company grew to be this huge. The founder of this company Would be appolled probably vomiting Everytime the name Hellmers is spoken...

If I can give this company 0 stars I would, Although I did not directly work with this location. I made a reservation with them and used the after hours pick up because of my work schedule. I went there and started the process and then all of a sudden I need proof of residency so they did not approve me. I called customer service and they told me all I need is my lease to upload. So here I am after 30 mins of sitting outside Uhaul I have to drive all the way home and get my lease. I then called before I left my house and asked if I have everything I was assured several times everything was fine if I uploaded my lease so I drove all the way back to Uhaul started the process for a second time got all the way through then they won’t take my card that I reserved the truck with because it was a prepaid card. After I already reserved the truck and it accepted it with that card. I called customer service for a third time and told them and they told me oh well there’s nothing they can do about this. My reservation was at 7:45 it was now 9:15 of going back and forth with customer service, driving back and forth home and still no truck. I had to cancel my furniture pick up and wasted all that time because of this company. I have used Uhaul over 10 times in the last couple years and never had a problem after tonight they lost a loyal customer because of there lack of helping customers out. I will not be using Uhaul again.
Very slow, workers didn’t know left from right. Got told 3 different things from 3 different people. Took over 30 mins just to get help. Very understaffed. Never using this location again.

Christopher Lambert is a criminal and a liar and a scam artist. He pressured us into paying ahead for keeping a truck over a week, then when through no fault of our own we were unable to move as planned and had to return the truck, he told us several times he would refund us the over $500 and only charge for a one day rental. One month, a credit card dispute, and a formal complaint with U-Haul later, he still has not refunded the money as promised. After the formal complaint he was supposed to contact us within 72 hours. That was a week ago and have heard nothing. Dont trust this weasel as far as you can throw him.
Do not buy boxes from Uhaul expecting them to accept them back. They will not. Use Walmart or Home Depot boxes instead.

My daughter rented a truck from them, it was an awful experience for her, they were rude and unorganized...never again, Id rather go to Ryder or hire 2 men and a truck !Very unprofessional !!
