I visited there last week to look for a game for my son he really likes retro games. I went in and asked for recommendations and I walked out with five games. I gave them to my son for his birthday and he loved them the store had excellent customer service. James was excellent he really came in clutch and he got me to buy a good amount of games(all had fair prices). Also the dog was really cute. Overall a great experience and it would be my pleasure to come back. 8/8

Was there just a few minutes ago and found an item. Asked about the price...never got it because guys behind the counter decided to talk about d&d or a video game with one of their friends so sorry fellas you lost a sale.If you have more than one person behind the counter, they can split the work and help other customers.

Workers werent really friendly. Felt like they didnt want to be there or they hate their life. No one said to be 40 and working at a game store for $7.50. If you dont like it or it isnt your passion i dont know why you would work there if you hate it. Have alot of old games that are over priced. Other than that it was ok i guess. The fat 40 year old virgin guy ruined my first experience.

Great staff and lots of options! FX Game Exchange is a good addition to Corpus Christi’s growing family of classic games stores! Very easy to reach location with a bunch of classic games from old systems like the GameCube and Xbox! Defiantly brings me back to the good old days when gaming was simple.

Went in to get my system checked out that I just bought. Not sure if he’s the manager or what but Scott has very bad customer service. All the other employees are great. Never had a problem with them. Scott has very bad attitude all the time (not the first time there either). Didn’t even check my system right kept saying that they have to clean it before they test it doesn’t make sense. So basically they were trying to make money off of me just going to get my system tested. Highly recommend you ask another employee instead of Scott for help.

Have a good selection of games but anything I’ve had repaired still had slight issues and the staff are always friendly just never professional if you need something repaired look elsewhere but you can find some great retro games

They tried to hustle me. I came in to trade a game.and they told me that they would need to hire someone to look at it and fix it if theres any problems which would cost them money. So I told them if they could just replace it and I would pay whatever the difference was for a new game. The girl in front said o well we can fix it for you instead and it wouldnt take long...so idk what happened to hiring someone to looking at it and fixing it when they did it right there. I understand theyre trying to run a business but if your gonna try to pull one on someone try to be better about it and be honst. Besides alot.of stuff there are over priced. Its like going to Texas toyz.

Loved the environment of the games and the staff. Great place to go if youre looking for anything retro or old school. Truly amazing store.

Love this place the folks are always nice and they have a pretty crazy selection of vintage games and collectibles, I wish It was locally owned but it is a franchise so theres a local ownee of sorts, I will keep coming here as often as possible. Plus you can send the kids in there while you duck into specs.

Took my Ps4 pro in to get the PSU changed out but they kept claiming its nit the PSU and wanted me to pay 80$ to put thermal paste on it. LOL They have no idea what they are doing there tbh.

To relive the history of childhood and wonders this game store is a must to go to. Purchasing older games is an expensive hobby however FX is honestly the way to go, they provide a wide selection from some of the oldest to the latest games, and consoles. Staff is 10 seriously they are they to help out lovers of games and retro games.Nes, snes, ps1, ps2 the list goes on. From obscure rare games to the latest they have it. Games do go fast so if you want something, call or go the day of on your free time. Its a must. Great place.
