Easy online rental. Lock was in the unit and it was ready to roll . We had to upgrade and it was not a problem with the staff.

Amazing service Great storage place if I needed anything I just go ahead and call their local office and they take care of it for sure if I need to ever use a storage again I will definitely go here I recommend this business to everyone.

Only writing this review because after calling them to make them aware of my issues I was told I would be sent a number to call to make an insurance claim but never received a call. And when I tried to call back SEVERAL times they somehow weren’t answering my phone call anymore. THEN when I found the number on my own to file my claim the claims agent calls me, leaves a message that she will send an email to an incorrect email address so I can submit pictures. I called her back left a message twice and actually talked to her once and let her know the email address was incorrect and therefore never received an email from them. And AGAIN, never received an email! So to anyone thinking about renting a space from these guys: I left my household items in the facility for two months and ended up with BED BUGS. So beware. Oh and they could not have come from anywhere else, my items were NEW and so was the home I moved them into. Also My items had invisible marks that were not there prior to me putting them in storage. I will be submitting complaints to the Attorney General and any other agencies that take consumer complaints. This is ridiculous!

The storage facility had a break in during the February winter freeze in corpus. Several units were burglarized. Office staff stated that their cameras were not working due to loss of power through out parts of the city. I understand that these things do happen, but I dont agree with how they post the combinations to the walk in sections of the facility that lead to the store conditioned units, which unfortunately is where my storage was located. All my electronics were stolen and the insurance didnt pay due to the cameras not working at the time. The facility manager stated that theyve had this happen before and have an idea of who the perpetrator is, but that doesnt help me or the others.

Every time I have called to get help or information any of the representatives I have spoken to have been amazing and helpful. They always know what they are talking about and offer great feedback and advice as well as amazing customer service and respect. The facility is clean and kept up, the staff on site is always willing to help in anyway. Would not go anywhere else for a storage unit.

Jonathan was very helpful in getting us a storage unit the same day! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes, tour and all. And he even showed us products that we didn’t know existed like the quilted blanket and moving products that would aid in our move! Awesome place and awesome workers!

They shouldn’t even get a star in my opinion I am a person that has seizures and was unable to pay my payment due to going into the hospital they allowed for my belongings to be auctioned off I wanted to literally kill the person that allowed it to happen because they knew my condition and did it anyway the more I think about it I learned that I didn’t need the belongings I needed my children and myself instead my kids cried about it I cried about it and I moved forward there were pictures inside that could never be replaced along with expensive expensive couches and clothes etc at the end of the day it’s just materials

Deceptive business practices. Raised rent by 50% after 5 months without notice. After complaining,, still raised by 25%. Expensive, bad location, narrow driveways, on a steep sloping hill, inconvenient gate access, short unit doors, mandatory insurance, and non-refundable administrative fee. The good things are that the gate works most of the time and its only a few miles from my place. Moving out as soon as possible.

I have one unit and had to get an additional unit due to a leak in my apartment. I was not happy that I was charged an additional administrative fee when I already was a customer. I dont like the fact that they keep going up on the rates when youve been a repeat customer. If they go up on the price again then Ill move to a better rate somewhere else.

This place is so disgusting. They have a terrible rat problem. We found rat poop all over our belongings. Our “AC” unit was so humid, what a joke. Don’t use this storage unit.

We needed a secure, clean, and professional facility to store our valuables and house goods while trying to sell our home. We reserved online and within 10 minutes of doing so, Ms. Donna called me to talk details. With this being our first time needing storage plans, we were unfamiliar with the process and fine print. Ms. Donna was extremely helpful in explaining how the process works and had even stayed late to help finalize our reservation! She even emailed me a map of the property so I could find our unit! These folks are the real deal! The hours are great and the units/hallways/entryways are kept squeaky clean. Thank y’all so much for your service!

Units are large. Prices are good. But if something breaks like the door to your unit be prepared to wait 10 days to lock up again or carry 1 box at a time to a different unit without help or a furniture dolly. Too much for the customer when its the businesses problem.

Made an online reservation and got a confirmation call from the on site manager to confirm my reservation. I came in to the property and looked at the unit and it was way more than what I had expected for the price. Everyone was so awesome here and Jonathan was amazing and answered all of my questions. You will find that both Kathy and Mark are REAL people -people. If you need storage, it is worth your while to depend on them for flexibility and understanding, with a good dose of empathy. We moved into the area from central Texas with unique needs following a whirlwind closing of our ranch. They did many things over-the -top to make our transition here in Corpus less stressful. They are highly recommended.

I would first like to say this is a honest review from a local. This storage facility is great....more than great its OUTSTANDING. Cat (manager) is more than helpful to accommodate and resolve any issues. I was in the military for 9 years, I have used dozen of facilities and this one takes the 5 star review over them all. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Storage units in good shape and clean. The pricing was competitive and reasonable for the market place. The only negative was the admin fee charged for each unit. I needed 2 units, thus 2 fees. The cost of doing the paperwork should not be passed onto the customer. If you want to have a business, then you need to accept the fact that you will need to spend a little money to run the business.

The staff was fantastic. They made everything so easy for me to get in and out. The facility is super clean and easy to navigate.

Ive been storing my belongings at this location for eleven months and am very pleased with the service, the staff, and I the unit itself. I dont find any dust or cobwebs on my things and I never see any insects. While Ill be glad to be able to get all of my belongings back into my home, Im glad that I chose Extra Space storage in Calallen in the interim.

Very nice folks working here. They were very polite and greeted me with a call in the morning to notify me that they had my storage unit ready for me to unload myoving trailer. All units are clean ad the restrooms as well. Strongly recommend this place.

Kat!!!!! Seriously these ladies are the greatest!! Tell them what you need or what your issue is and they will get you covered!! The rooms are well kept the property has been improved majorly and climate controlled is exactly that - your stuff and your sanity are safe with these ladies.

People are nice,but price would go up and dont know why. Rented for 2 years and price went up 3-4 times. Had to move to another facility. Lots of spiders and some rodents.
