I went with my hazards on because my power went out. Got there they tested the battery and alternator. Put a new battery on, it was the alternator. Bought one. Spent 500. It was a good experience. Tommy is very professional and sociable. He is a hard worker but you can tell he likes to help people. Well go there every time I can.

With any brick and mortar stores you are forced to pay a huge mark up prices for major auto parts if waiting is not an option for online orders. Always a down side in that aspect. Other than that there reasonably priced for any other in store purchases like tools and motor oil ECT ECT.

Helpful guys in there tonight. Didnt ask make and model, just helped me get the belt I needed like they knew what they were doing.

Went in with my son and got an alternator and belt and and did core trade. Was busy but a guy was at the end and told my son come over and he got part and checked everything and he had us in and out just like that.

Prices are a little high, but the friendliness of the staff, and the late hours they stay open make up for it. ☺

Car would not start so I thought I needed a battery or alternator.The parts tech discovered it was neither and found the real issue. It was the RFID going bad and showed me how to start the car until I had it replaced.

Was rudely brushed off and mocked by an employee saying I wasnt listening. When I came back to get his name minutes later he refused/whilst talking to the store manager saying dont make me call the sheriffs office to come arrest you. I originally came to get a check engine light code test, once we get the codes I ask about print outs for them. We dont do that. You can take a picture with your phone(I had to ask him to write it down, along with the information for the error code that had description). In the end I believe he didnt enjoy me referencing Ive had more help from other employees. From that point on he repeatedly says please leave once he walked away. I got the same treatment when I came back for his name so I can talk to the store manager about this later. Ive had more help from other employees Ive done business with BY FAR. Because your not a certified mechanic doesnt excuse you from using Google yourself instead of telling the customer to do that. To break it down, avoid Advance Auto Parts if Sir ____________ Is working that shift. Hostility from an employee was not what I was expecting tonight.

Very helpful! Manager was very nice and kind. He helped us when we were broken down outside of the building. Also, he was kind enough to let us stay inside the place to keep out of the heat until our ride came from over an hour away. Every employee was a big help:)

Yup....It is a well stocked clean store and the folks are very helpful....however they are a ripoff on a lot of products. I paid $14.99 + tax for a Mobil1 extended performance oil filter . Wally Mart never carried the Mobil 1 filters... only the oil which defied logic. After leaving Advance I went to pick up my oil at Wallymart since they have the best price on Mobil1. Couldnt believe my eyes.....they are now stocking Mobil1 filters. $9.97 + tax for the same filter. That a substantial difference. You can say all you want about Wally but until you start paying my bills I would suggest you remain silent.

Sad when you must point out the location of battery twice to the employee while being questioned about ability to identify the problem with an automobile. Then, employee admits to lacking ability in installing a new battery. However, it was a grand gesture on his part to belittle my knowledge of mechanics due to the fact that I am a woman.
