Nobody to do inspections bc they have one person apparently that does it, meanwhile there are like 5-6 employees I can see working, so maybe don’t advertise that service or have a whole lane dedicated to it if you can’t do it, you should have someone there everyday that can do a state inspection, no reason not to right?

Been going to this place for years to do my cars yearly inspection. Always found them to be honest. Today before my inspection I was told I needed all new window wipers, which I knew. Told them OK, do it, and I passed inspection. It is nice to be told up front about a potential problem that would prevent you from passing. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back!

Stopped for an oil change. They cleaned my windshield and vacuum the floor mats. Good old fashioned service.

Got there with 2 minutes to spare and all I needed was 10psi of nitrogen because this is the only location that you can get this from. Guy says to me “nah we already closed” as he’s helping a tow truck unload a car that just got there seconds before me. Looked like they closed up well before their posted closing time.

The technician that serviced my vehicle left oil all over the interior of my truck. Ive never had this happen before. I wont be returning to this location.

This location repeatedly provides honest and friendly service. I would recommend to bring an updated proof of insurance or have it ready on your phone if you are bringing your car for the state inspection. I have taken my vehicles to this garage for over 10 years and will continue to have them service my vehicles in the future.

I had tow truck drop off car, I called to get a quote because they still hadnt contacted me. The mechanic answered the phone instead of the gentleman who we first spoke to and the mechanic was rude. Had zero phone etiquette. Spoke to my wife the way someone would talk in the street. We were so disgusted by this we didnt even bother having them work on our car. Had a tow truck go right back and pick it up. The original man was polite but when he said the other person would be the one working on the car, well we were not having any part of that. Expected some sort of professionalism. Should keep that mechanic off the phone and stick to what he knows. Fixing cars. Very disappointed.

I just moved into the area and I came to this Kwik Kar location because the closest location to me was closed. My AC has not been cooling well, so all I needed was freon. As a young single woman, Im always nervous to go have anything done to my car because it seems I always get up-charged and pressured into doing a million other things to my car on top of what Ive asked to be done. Not here! They were able to get me in right away, were pretty fast, and didnt try to sell me a million other things. Ill be coming back to this Kwik Kar location for sure

We unfortunately got a flat tire from a nail and we were stuck at the CVS across the street. We tried to get AAA and another roadside service out to us but it turned out to be a huge hassle. We called this place in desperation, and like the angels they are, someone walked over from their facility to change our tire to a donut. We went inside and got our flu shots because we had an appointment, which was the whole reason we were in the CVS parking lot. The sweet employee met me in the CVS, I brought him to car, and he changed our tire while we got our flu shots. When we came back outside he was gone. We were only in CVS for 10 minutes. When I called to ask how much it would be the person on the phone told us it was out of kindness and to give back to the community. I will recommend this place hands down. The kindness they extended to us especially with this pandemic going on was so heartwarming. God bless these people. They deserve all the business they can get!

If you are a young female I would recommend going to a dealership or another service center. I watched them take some leaves and debris off my car and put it on my air filter to try and convince me it needed to be changed out. (The filter was replaced at my last oil change). Similar situation happened to another female that was also there at the same time as me.

RIP OFF INSPECTIONS!!Required my daughter to purchase $50 in wiper blades to pass the $25 inspection- threatened her with not being able to get an inspection for another 15 days if she did not buy the wiper blades!!!

Went for a quick state inspection and they told me to wait a hour behind a cone and the place wasnt busy at all just crowded with employees.. and when I told them that I was goin to leave because the wait was too long. They responded to me in a rude manner not professional

Ive been going to Kwik Kar Mockingbird for at least 10 years. I have never had a bad experience there. The staff is always friendly and the mechanics talk to me and tell me what needs to be done and what can wait. I dont ever feel pressured to add more repairs than I need or can afford. I am never talked down to as a woman. And the service is always as quick as it can be, depending on how many customers were there before me. I got an engine flush and new oil, filter, and other fluid checks in about 15 minutes at lunch time on a Tuesday. I dont know if theyre the cheapest in town, but they do quality work. Probably the most honest car repair shop Ive ever used and Ive been driving for 30 years. I think they are a franchise and the owner and manager obviously do a great job hiring quality employees who care about their work. Cant say enough good things about them.

Went in today because I had a check oil light on my BMW, so my 1st thought was big money on a Sunday.So, I pulled in, and a gentleman named Mike came up and greeted me. He helped me run the BMW diagnostics and looked at my oil level under the hood.I was thinking, it seemed too soon for an oil change but wanted to be careful.Mike was awesome, he said, no worries, my model just burns a lot of oil and I did not need an oil change for $100. he simply topped it off for me.Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest-- I will always go there now and make sure he is there-- 10/10 customer service experience.

I have been to the Kwik Kar Mockingbird location 2 times now. The first time I had them fill a window chip on my windshield which turned out great. The second time I had my oil and filter changed and tires rotated on my 2013 Jeep. Both times the employees were extremely nice and helpful. The facility was very clean and you can tell they have recently done some updates on the store, including the restrooms. I will definitely be going back!

Good small chain auto repair facility. All of their buildings are free standing brick buildings. They do state inspections, oil changes, and other basic auto repair services. Theyre located all over the North Texas area and have a good warranty.

This store is poorly run. The service is slow and the staff is lazy. The management seem completely checked out. They express an active disregard for their customers. I would recommend using one of the more helpful, motivated oil change shops for inspections and other routine maintenance. Stay away!

I appreciate their honesty. I went today to check an oil light on my dashboard and to see if there was a leak. The nice man checked my car and when I asked them what was wrong he explained that it was a sensor. Now Ive had this before a long long long time ago with another car and I asked for the price. He said he had fixed the issue and to not worry about it because it was not a major thing. He then said that they arent those types of guys. Which I appreciate because the other time I had this problem with another company those guys charged me a lot for something else that wasnt even the problem. I will definitely come back to this location. I left there highly impressed.

I had an unusual scenario there, that made me suspicious. Read the following and decide as you wish.Went to get my inspection done and and they asked me to park my car at the top left corner, out of sight. One man went up there to do something, no idea what.They then bought my car to the inspection area, which is surrounded by new windscreen wipers and failed me due to a tear in my wiper rubber. which now existed, about three inches long. Offered a new set to quickly clear my inspection.What they were certainly unaware of was I had literally just put new wipers on my vehicle.Anyway, I left and went to Valvoline on Abrams who are wonderful and they passed without even a comment on the wiper.Based on the information I have on hand, I am rating them a 1.

Im a guy who changes my own oil with fully synthetic and the best filters I can. But due to travel I had to submit and let someone else do it. I chose this place because it was near a friends house and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice people inside at the register and out doing the oil change. I of course got the 5w-30 fully synthetic and a vo-55 filter and the total after tax was approximately $76. Total in and out time was 15mins. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the cost. Thought it was a bit expensive.

We get our cars inspected here and sometimes an oil change. The oil change prices seem fair but not necessarily the cheapest in town. The inspections are done fairly quickly.

Pulled my car in, got out, had about 4-5 employees say good morning to me with a smile on their face. Outstanding customer service. This is my second time here and I plan on returning!

I would avoid this place. They will try to up charge you on everything. I had my oil changed and got scammed. The oil was completely dirty after a week when i had someone else take a look at it.

Quick and good service for a state inspection

First time I ever dealt with them was 3 years ago when my car would not start after filling up with gas at the old Texaco just half a block east of them. Tow truck could not get there before they closed, so an employee walked over a portable jumper to start the car. Did not work, told me it might be the starter. Called back to the shop, got another employee over to PUSH the car to the shop, knowing they had to go through the light at Mockingbird and Skillman. Called me the next morning, confirmed it was the starter, and asked what I wanted to do. The price they quoted was very reasonable, with my car stuck they they could have gouged me but did not. Just had an issue with my car today, and where did I have it sent...back to those great guys!

This morning, I had a flat. Rojo, at Kwik Lube, with the air hose, eagerly helps me with air after I put in fixaflat. This is what real customer service is. Commend and recognize Rojo. I will become a customer.

Tried to sell me something that doesnt exist.. A dirty oil flush for $65. Thats called an oil change and a bit of dirty oil will be always be left behind. Nice try.
