I’m giving five stars to this store just for one of its employees. His name is Victor and he is very helpful and knowledgeable young man. My husband and I were there and we couldn’t find what we were looking for so, we asked one employees and he said he was going to check in the back and never came back. Until, Victor passed by and he offered to help us. Our product was above the shelf the whole time in boxes. Thank you for hiring people so helpful.
I came in to the store with a lot of issues and I met a very sassy young woman named amber. She was very smart and diligently helped assist with my first request…not knowing the answer she didn’t just send me on my way, she stopped and got her supervisor lori. Lori then grabbed her trainees and began to help them understand how to properly tackle not only my issue but a few other that had come up that day. Another beautiful young lady named Tiffany picked right up on the lesson and all three were very helpful. As a team they quickly knocked out my issues one by one and I just appreciate those amazing young lady’s for the help and the care & concern that they showed me. Praise God in the good and the bad !Blessings,Cody Crowe5 Star Christian Roofing & Remodeling
This is the store that was destroyed by the Oct., 2019 tornado in Dallas. The manager at the time knew bad weather was coming, so he dismissed the crew early and closed the store. Minutes later, the whole place was leveled. He undoubtedly saved lives with the decision. Its been reopened for a while, and it looks exactly as it did before. I was walking down the aisle when an employee asked me if he could help. Wow. I had two more items I needed. He walked me to one, saying the other was at the opposite end of the store.Very nice guy. Good shopping experience!
I went in to buy a sawzall and some blades and they made me feel like I was a thief I didnt appreciate it at all Im thinking about going somewhere else shop we buy a lot of tools and do that to me I dont need you guys if thats the case
Went to get some screws for a speaker cage I previously had purchased from this store. Took the cage with me with multiple zip ties so I would know it was mine. After checking out my cage was not in the bag, no one knows what happened to it, no one could check the numerous cameras to see what happened. The sprinkles on my Home Depot Cupcake - I dont even have all the screws I paid for. This location has gotten me for the last time. I can shop at Lowes from now on.
Hmmm. Not the Depot I grew to appreciate....been a while, they are up to the standards now accepted...shame we cant all improve the way we just speak to each other. I feel less and less welcome, as a customer, each visit. Like an apple in an orange bin. The same staff seem to be great with each other though.
Big fan of Home Depot. Always helpful employees. Disclaimer: I am an ex Home Depot employee from way back in the day so I will always have a soft spot for them.
Forest Lane Home Depot needs to spend some time in the plumbing dept. lots of stuff out of stock but it shows to be in inventory. This is typical of most HD’s. I was in retail 10 years and understand the pain of the plumbing isle, but they should get someone to keep that area well maintained.
Friendly service. Well organized store. Everything is easy to find.
Good store. Good prices. Good product selection. Its good to go to the Home Depot.
Remains a top choice for home improvement shopping! Starting with two stores in Atlanta, Home Depot has grown to more than 2,200 stores in three countries, but in every store, their goal is the same: to earn their customers’ respect by offering the highest level of service, the broadest selection of products and the most competitive prices. As Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank Co-founders of Home Depot say, “Built From Scratch,” “At the end of the day, they’re in the people business.”
So, this facility is pretty new, clean, and well kept. While it keeps me well supplied, i find a lot of items, especially tools, to be on the expensive side. I also get a little annoyed at the fact that in spite of all that space, i occasionally have to go online to order stuff that isnt available in the store. Usually, in those situations, i end up finding it cheaper to order elsewhere, and do so.
Tara was so sweet in helping me and my boyfriend make copies of our keys! She was patient and answered our questions. So many people came to ask us if we need assistance we felt very attended to. Great location!
O M G ...They have got little old ladys who work in there to be the mask police everywhere you turn around, oh man, its like they have been waiting thier whole life for this moment, Arise all petty tyrants everywhere! They are well trained, not to be actually helpful for any purpose you might have as a customer, but they are just waiting overly ready to handle this idiotic job of making sure people follow all the unnecessary wishful encouragements for masking & social distancing possible... I even witnessed a store manager actually have the nerve tell a real police officer who was patrolling the location off duty due to rampant crime in the area to put a mask on... Heres to hoping all the people are confused enough to submit to your foolish & selfish corporate mandated commands..
Excellent customer service friendly and always go by the way finding things
One of the best places to shop at for your home appliances with great customer service I actually came here initially for a tool rental I was helped by Mark & Alex they where very helpful no complaints from me!!!!
Anytime i go here and visit lumber for wood cut for some projects Edward Hayes the young man at lumber goes above and beyond for me and everyone around. Because of him in particular and the nice cashiers, I make it there for all my needs. He shows so much enthusiasm and passion for his work. When he sees you seem lost he approaches you and offers help with a heartwarming smile.I have been to plano on tollway couple of time and nothing compares to this location. Only the customer service desk employee are great but not guys like Edward deserves a promotion. I tried to tip him and her refused and said they a paid for this so no with honesty. Am so shocked since am in management in customer service as well. Codos Edward.
The Christmas trees are okay quality. I feel like Lowe’s has better tho
They dont take Apple Pay.Terribly frustrating when you make a quick run in your precious weekend hours on your home improvement project, and have to go home because you forgot your wallet.
Updating my review. Was so upset earlier when the flatbed had dirt and filth in it. Ive always used home depot truck rental, quarterly it seems and never issues.Manager fixed it perfectly. Amazing management.
I’ve been using Home Depot for 30 years I went to the Home Depot on Forest Lane and the employee name Bruce it’s very rude I went there twice and he is Very rude and not helpful but the other employees in the paint department is very nice but Bruce at Works in the paint department is very rude I will drive out of my way to a different Home Depot instead I have to put up with Bruce in the paint department update for October 25/2021 went back to the paint department and the lady who help me she was so rude and I had to dive to a different Home Depot and that person was so kind and Knowledge of her job so don’t go to Forest Ln., Home Depot paint
Fuzzy wazzy was a bear fuzzy wizzy had no hair if u saw him standing there then like me review
Since they reopen the store the most disgusting employee they have no respect for the customers and very bad customer service .I shopped there last 30 years, 2 times a week .Im not going there any more.paint dept about 11:15 amIts crazy how some low end employees take their problemTo work place.
Wonderful experience working with Desiree Roberts in selecting tile and grout. She is very knowledge and professional
Good big box stores. Very good selection of products.
Had to stop and get some supplies for a job this morning. Could not find something I was looking for on the shelf. They were all out. A sweet lady working in the flooring department said she thought they had more in the back. She took the time to find me what I needed and brought it to me. So rare in retail. Wish I had thought to get her name. Thanks for the stellar customer service!
They offer friendly service, a wide range of product selections, and competitive price.
Good place to rent home improvement equipment - paint sprayer, pressure washer, etc..
So glad this location was able to be reopened after the tornado. Spotless location... for now lol! Well stocked, somehow feels easier to navigate than other locations even though theyre basically all laid out the same.
Needed help loading 300lbs of purchases into my vehicle in the loading zone in front of the door. Wait 45min for help that never came.
I had a great experience at this Home Depot. I was helped by an associate that didn’t mind me asking questions and assisting me with finding other items I needed in the store. Everyone said hello and asked if I needed assistance, which is a lost art these days. Great job Home Depot! 👍🏼
My husband and I really like what this location has to offer in terms of improving our home. This is our favorite location, Great selection!
Pretty decent location although it is set up a little bit different from most others. Had what I needed though and thats what truly matters when youre there for work.
Always friendly and knowledgeable. So much better than Lowes in every way that matters.
I went in to buy a pole saw. It was in stock and they have self checkout. Im satisfied 😁😁
Customer service is so pleasent
Lots of dangerous people always around out there
Sheila was very helpful when trying to get the right paint color!
I love home depot and used to be a huge fan of this location prior to the tornado and reopening. Since they reopened I have had 3 run ins. 1. An employee put a dent in my truck with a cart 2. Ordered a bed frame/ headboard combo and had it delivered here for curbside pick up but nobody ever came out to help so I had to go in to customer service which defeats the purpose of covid protocols 3. Got home and opened the box and the headboard was missing from the box.
I was helped by Angela viera at store number #0548 at Forrest and 75 she did an excellent job commend her well
In and out. Helpful employees. Decent price!
Very helpful and informative! Unfortunately, they were out of what I needed...
A lot of young people who work there were just hanging out at the front of the store near the self check area. People were asking for help but they didnt seem interested in working.
Pleasant and always stock
Everytings fine ✌️👍
Theres an Angel in the painting department who helped me out. And Jennifer at the Pro desk is Awesome! Theres a Green Thumb around there in management! 😉
Extremely helpful staff, I was able to find exactly what I needed and answered all of the questions I had!
These places will clean very organized Connect me to customer very respectful Associates Easy to locate items I will always return back to this location
Very nice lady helped me find exactly what I needed
Very clean and well-stocked store. It was my first visit to this store... employees were very helpful
Brand new store. Shopping carts work, store is clean and lines werent too long. This is the place that was hit by the tornado last year or so. Location layout is much better than the one off of Skillman.
Very clean and neat. The customer service was on point thanks guys
This Home Depot is our Go To Location! We are so happy to see them return! The more people that know they are back, the more they will have in stock. Just great people, products, and amazing attitudes all around!
Nice new store! Really did a good job of rebuilding after the tornado. Lots of sales staff to help you out.
Its home Depot. They have what you need to get your yard right
Friendly staff. I appreciate option of human or self checkout
Nice ajd clean venue.
Home Depot hired a local contractor to install windows in my house. When the vendor installed the windows they failed to seal the inside of the windows, install the window trim, broke my counter top, and installed two broken windows.I called and complained about the broken counter, broken windows and missing trim as they were all that I noticed at first. I was told that I needed to purchase everything to fix the counter and they would pay for labor, which made no sense to me so I told them no, they needed to pay for it and they refused, this went back and forth for a few weeks and nothing was done to resolve the issue. The counter top is still cracked to this day 7 years later.I was told the window trim was on back order and would be installed once it was no longer on back order, 7 years later the trim is still missing, I had to paint the wood to preserve it. Some back order they have going on at Home Depot. The broken windows were replaced a week later after multiple calls, Im surprised they managed to get that one done honestly. Not sealing the window properly is the biggest issue. It took a long time to notice as the vendor installed the new window on top of the old window frame making it so all the water that overflowed/leaked from washing dishes went directly into the wall cavity between the interior wall and exterior wall behind the cabinet. I used my dishwasher exclusively until I got divorced and started hand washing dishes. I did not realize it until I smelled the mildew, at which point I called immediately and filed for a craftsmanship warrant claim (mine is lifetime, I understand they have since changed it to 3-5 years). The installation manager came out to the house, agreed that the window should have been sealed, agreed there was nothing to indicate it was previously sealed and the seal was gone, and agreed there was a smell of mildew coming from the gap left from under the window. The professional window installer she brought with her also agreed to all of these things, and made the comment that the previous vendor was fired for poor performance. He then went to the store and purchased materials to seal the window correctly. The manager said she would file a claim and have the damages addressed.Insurance company calls, says they will investigate. 5 days later I get a call from the desk adjuster, they tell me they are denying the claim because Home Depot says I never filed a service request for any damages, that when the service manager inspected the damage there was no evidence of damage, and the window is missing a back splash... When I asked why they never sent anyone out to inspect the damage they said it wasnt necessary because they interviewed the Home Depot manager and her statement is enough to deny the claim without actually looking at the damage. When I escalated to Home Depots higher management about the service manager telling me something different from what was told to the insurance company they offered me a 300 dollar gift card to make it go away, which I declined and stated I wanted my property repaired not a gift card.Update: Filed a BBB complain and Home Depot reiterated the fact that the water leak was caused by a missing backsplash, they continue to lean on this even tho there was never previously a backsplash and the window never leaked prior to their vendor replacing it because it was properly sealed. I am still baffled as to how the manager came to my house, agreed the work was done incorrectly yet Home Depot refuses to take responsibility.
Had everything I needed, although layout of store was a little confusing.
My husband and I went to buy moving boxes, and the Store Manager, Jonathan, and he was super helpful. Well definitely come back!
They have weathered the storm and are much better than their big box competitor.
I came here because this was the closest one to me, employees are always friendly thats why I keep coming back here and not the other guys
Gots what i always need love walking around to get great prices for my home
Always love going to the mans Mall
This location in particular seems to have good customer service!
I was able to go through a checkout with a cashier and no wait.
If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible customer service. Wouldnt allow my contractor to use his pro rewards at pro cashier.
Sadly after the STORM there is less available stock than prior. Limited Milwaukee plumbing and packout. Nothing new and less space devoted to the brand... what a disappointment 😪
The Home Depot typically has what they show on the app. There are typically plenty of staff to help answer your questions. Checkout is a breeze and there too is an employee if you need their help
They had everything I needed!
Three stars just because they were out of basically everything
Remodeled store and looks great
Need to clear isles. To cluttered.
They usually have what i need if not i go to another loacation
Workers were nice and courteous.
I had a bad experience at this location, although manager eventually made it right its still frustrating. reserved a truck online and when I showed up the truck wasnt available. Called the manager and after a long back & forth I got a different (bigger) truck
Best places in the world for all your home improvement projects. Also for the professional
Customer service was great
Store was clean. Helpful staff
Really cool
Its home depot
Love this store. So well supplied!
They were out of half inch sheetrock
Some of items Home depot use to sell now not available, like MELNOR SPRINKLER PRODUCTS, SCOTTS ST. AGUSTIN FERTILIZER DIFFERENT SIZES,
Great customer service, especially in the paint department. There are two different women and one guy that are fast and always answer my questions and give great advice. They are always busy, but I always find an empty cashier station. Getting in and out make a big deal in my day. Thanks guys, y’all are doing an amazing job!
I like that I can look an item up on the web site and it will tell me whether it is in stock or not, it gives me the location for what isle its in and I can switch stores if I want to
This place is awesome! Perfect for every home owner! Love that they have double seat shopping carts. Taking my twin boys on a cruise around Home Depot while mom gets the things shes needs for home renovations/projects is seriously so great! They have a double car seat for kids who want to drive. For all you parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents, on the 1st Saturday of EVERY MONTH from 9a-12p they have unlimited carpentry projects! My boys absolutely love it and I know have something different to do with them. All ages are welcome here too, so even better!Unsure if every location shares leftover unused projects (from past years!), but this location allows you to stay as long as you want to work on as many as you can comfortably in the time allowed.
Plywood prices are ridiculously high!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most are knowledgeable about what the store carries and how to use it. They have helped me on several occasions with solutions to problems that were not obvious and took creativity to solve. Some of them even know me by name! Its a great place to shop.
Customer service is really bad. I guess the good days 😪 are lost forever.
Great store, very organized, and well staffed with knowledgeable team members. I was looking for a difficult to locate item, and David (from Hardware) listened to my description and immediately knew where to find it in the store. He even walked me to the other side of the store where it was, to be sure I was successful. I sincerely appreciate the friendly, helpful, and kind folks I usually find here. Thank you for your help today!!
Since the store reopened after the tornado hit over a year ago they really made a big huge adjustment. It’s like a brand new store again
Fast staff
Some were rude but others very helpful i guess it depends on the day
