Lynda Bliss was our wonderful designer. She came out to our new house, at no charge, and then presented a floor plan with the new suggested furniture. Then the fun began when we played with fabrics she showed us. Oh, I love turquoise!

Placed order labor day weekend. The sales agreement still lists 30 days for item delivery, etc. They verbally state that isnt the case of course due to magic covid. I was okay with that. However, the salesman stated the sofa fabric in question was not in short supply so that would not add a further delay. Today, 10/07/2020, we are informed production will not start until 12/15/2020 due to fabric shortage. He told us he specifically checked for that at the time the order was placed and it was not an issue. Now, it is. Between waiting what will likely be every bit of six months for a sofa and their little mistake I am thoroughly displeased with the Bassett experience and would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

When looking for great high end quality products, I have found that most sales people tend to not take young shoppers as seriously but Jeff Ferguson treated us like valued customers the moment we walked in. It was because of his great attitude that we will now be enjoying our new furniture ! Thank you Jeff, we will shop here again in the future!

Great selection of really nice furniture. This isnt Nebraska Furniture Mart, so be prepared to pay a premium. One of the drawers on our dresser wasnt sliding properly after it was delivered. They sent a repairman out who was able to resolve the issue within 30 minutes. Great customer service.

Absolutely incredible customer service. Lorie and Jennifer assisted me and they were both such a pleasure to work with! They searched and dug until they found the exact artwork that I needed. You can tell when people are willing to go that extra mile for you, they certainly did that here. Will be coming to this location going forward.

Me and my girlfriend went to this store this afternoon to browse for furniture for our new apartment. Went into all of the other local furniture stores adjacent to Basset, before entering Basset and was giving polite customer service, we told the other employees at the other locations that we were just browsing at furniture and they respected our response and left us to look around there stores. Upon entering Basset me and my girlfriend were approached by a employee working there by the name of Diane. We were looking at a couch and living room set when she asked us if we needed help, we said no were just looking and she replied that she needed to educate us on how there store “works” because there furniture is all customizable? So she proceeds to walk us around the store, telling us about ways to customize furniture sets that are there and there prices. At one point she asked my girlfriend what was her budget. She replied that she hasn’t made a budget of how much she wants to spend. I said to Diane we were looking for a living room set, she said that they don’t sell living room sets and that every piece is an individual item? She then told us to go shop at rooms to go if we are looking for more affordable furniture items. This was very rude and disrespectful assuming that we could not afford the items at that store, she had no reason to suggest we shop elsewhere. If you go here I hope you don’t have to run into Diane and be subjected to her prejudice

Rude employees .spend your money where you get appreciated

This is the first furniture store in Dallas that I have been in the past 2 years in which I do not experience any greetings or customer service. Me and my wife was walking in the store for 10-15 mins looking for blinds, curtains and shatters for my our new custom home from Toll Brothers but nobody came to us and tried to sell their products. There was ladies sitting on their desks while looking at their computer screens. Thatwhy I am not giving any star ratings at this time.We may not visit this store in the nearby future. Thanks.

Based on the reviews it seems like minorities get the shaft and all the high reviewers are of the demographic one would expect. Going here today- so let’s see if I have the pleasure of eating my words. I hope I do.
