I have never disappointed in this store before until today. Went today for boots for my youngest child and jeans for my oldest child.First of all, they hardly had any selection for my youngest daughter in boots. Now if she wanted dress boots then that was fine, but we are a farm family and rodeo. Pink glitter isn’t going to last long around this family.Second, my oldest daughter wears ladies jeans. Now the certain jeans she likes are hard to find, but I’ve always found them at cavenders. We couldn’t find any this time, but it not what disappointed me. When she found a pair she thought she would like she walked into the dressing room and on the floor was about 15 pairs of jeans and then there was about 10 pair hanging up. I went through all the jeans to see if maybe a pair she usually wore was on the floor.I thought it was kinda crazy that I saw sale associates waking around, standing at the hat corner talking to co-workers, and then standing at the front but not one person asked us if they could help us. Instead, I walked out with two cowboy hats (totally not planned for that buy) and a belt, which I returned for smaller size and then just returned due to my husband not liking the belt itself.Overall, my experience has kinda left a bad taste in my mouth, I drove 2 hours after work to get these things. I would totally recommend this store to any man because there was TONS of men’s clothing out. I don’t usually shop women’s clothing here due to mostly needing women’s long sleeve button down shirts (I’ve never seen rodeo attire shirts for women at this location). The woman, Brooklyn, would helped with my return was extremely nice and understanding.

No welcome at the door, no assistance and not friendly smile at the cashiers .,i think the employees need motivation to offer better assistance and friendly customer service.

There were no deals to be had. All boots were at or above retail. There were not many size selections in work boots. They were kind of nice. If you search you can find the same or better boots at a better deal.

I asked to have my feet measured, but apparently they didnt have any measurement devices available, which surprised me. As a traveler, I appreciated the free shipping. The selection of boots, hats, and attire is excellent.

Great place for Western wear.

I’m the type that usually doesn’t need help when I’m shopping. But Imanol was amazing! This young man made sure to give me the comfort to shop, but notice when I needed assistance!! Imanol helped me out perfectly! He went through all the trouble of fixing my hat so it would fit, and great conversation making me feel comfortable.He’s the only reason I would come back!

Not sure what to rate them on? Im a big guy wearing a size 15; they only had 4 to choose from. But found a pair and also a good hat. Is it safe are they practicing social distancing yes 👍 were they helpful yes 👍 items like boots and belts limited I couldnt even find a belt size 48

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was looking for a hat, and asked for a specific size. I think her name was Jessica, looked for 2 seconds for a hat with me and then stopped helping me. Didn’t really seem like she cared at all. Then I drove to Mesquite and bought a hat that was my size later in the day. After buying it two hours before, I decided I wasn’t a fan and returned it. I went to this location because it was closer to home.They said “we can’t return it” because the receipt didn’t match the hat or some story they tried telling me. So I had to have the mesquite store call and say that they have to accept my return. Also had to drive back and forth twice and argue with the manager(s) including Jessica who was there when I had gone earlier and barely even helped me. Both of the girls had terrible attitudes. What happened to the customer is always right? Will not be going here again. Do not recommend this store. The other locations are nicer and have better customer service.

Very fast and helpful in returning a belt

After walking in I was told Welcome to Cavenders. There were at least 5 associates there. That was the last time anyone talked to me. No one offered to help me. I was in there a total of 25 minutes and tried on a couple of work shoes. After trying one on that I liked I took a picture of the shoe model and left. I ordered it from Amazon that same evening. Thanks for being there to help me choose my yearly company paid shoes. If there is a next time I hope someone offers to help me.

Horrible customer service! even though there were more then enough employees, i had to walk around to find help & even when i did they barely offered any. never will stop at this location again i’ll just stick to the arlington one!

This location is amazing. Holy cow. No pun intended. What a wonderful selection! What a huge, clean store! The staff was wonderful and so friendly and helpful! They fixed my Cowboy hat right away, found me some amazing boots and an absolutely gorgeous belt and belt buckle! Staff is awesome. Place is awesome.

I purchased a pair of boots from this place and spent $150 and they lasted a whole day and a half I tried to take them back and they were rude to me when I was there with the money in my hand they were really polite I was actually satisfied and I left there but the way they were rude to me whenever I tried to return the boots that were defective its just unreal now Im $150 in the hole and now I got to go to resort to a pair of $30 Walmart boots that are probably last way better than these

I stopped in looking for a particular Panhandle Slim shirt and they had it. Luis Rubio was the young man who helped me. Knowledgeable and friendly, just like the whole staff. Will definitely be in again soon.

Jordan provided great customer service. And one of the hat shaper guys did an outstanding job. My hat wasnt finished from the factory because I purchased it at an outlet, never again. As I did for my first hat, I will purchase the next one at Cavenders. The hat shaper finished my hat and now it looks perfect. I think the hat shaper was Rubin. Dont let age fool you, I heard he was 18 yrs old and he knows how to handle a cowboy hat.
