This is the best U-Haul Ive ever been to.Grover and Pat are courteous, precise, fair, and generous. Though Ive been to many U-Hauls, this was the first time alone, first time driving a cargo van. I will go here for all my future needs. Theyre so great that I had to write a review!

As an SMU Parent I was looking for a smaller storage space to store some dorm items over break. I found this location online and I am beyond THRILLED I found them. Owner Vicki called me before I arrived to make sure I had the right size space for my needs and to confirm truck rental / boxes etc. The place is clean, the owners were very helpful and I feel very good about renting here. will be using this location for the next 3 years. When I arrived everything was seamless, I was shown the space location while the office person got the truck rental ready. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Truck was clean, Facility is immaculate.

These guys run a super efficient operation. They are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Having waited with full paperwork in hand for OVER an hour at each of 2 UHaul super centers, this neighborhood storage facility had my paperwork done in 7 minutes, then moved my rented truck to the exit while i parked my car inside their gated storage facility. Manager went over important aspects of the rental and helped me adjust the mirrors. Checkin was equally easy---manager adjusted the amount charged on my credit card while i was bringing my car to the exit.

The owner and the staff is excellent and super helpful. He took the time to explain me all the details and shared clear breakdowns of the quote and suggested various options that I had.

I opted to use the mobile check-in to save time and do it all on my phone. However, as me and my partner were walking into the property to look for our reserved van, as instructed by the online agent, we were stopped by an employee. When we told him we were going into the back to get our rental, he became aggressive and proceeded to grill us. He began to give us instructions at odds with what the online agent/process was giving us. With each instruction he gave us, clearly annoyed with us, I had to keep telling him that was not what my mobile check-in process/agent was telling us to do, reacting to his annoyance. Eventually he apologized for coming off as aggressive, giving us the excuse that going through him would have been faster and he was just trying to save us time. Though it seemed to us that we had just been racially profiled and we wasted time explaining ourselves to him. Its a 3 star rating, because beyond my experience with this person, l got the service that I paid for without any other problems.Update: The owners of the business called to apologize and reimbursed me a portion of my charges. She explained that the employee has been with them for a long time and that they would talk to him. This was satisfactory to me. I just didnt want other customers to have the experience we did and I am a believer of second chances.

Im not giving anybody that works here 1 star I am giving U-Haul 1 star because they train their managers to do it. So be advised this is my experience I used my card used the chip and entered my pin give and dandy however when you go back to return your truck trailer whatever you have they dont return your money back the same way they take it for some people that might not be an issue but it is for me and my wife I spent every last dime I had on that truck and didnt even use it 3 miles 52 dollars and I have to wait wait for my money but U-Haul didnt have to wait

Hats off to Brian. We had been scheduled to drop off a rental at a place about 30 minutes from where we were. His location was much closer. He took care of the return without issue and saved us a good bit of time.Thanks again!Carl Hennon

Pat in the main office was very kind (manager) but another gentleman working for the company was very negative and unkind upon arrival to the facility. I was not made privy to the fact that the app was to not be used during the day. I was under the impression UHaul was using the app for pandemic reasons to limit direct contact with customers, so I utilized the app instructions to abide by these wishes (which I thought they wanted us to follow). Upon arrival to the facility and finding the vehicle we would be renting for the move, a worker came out of the facility very agitated and honestly blatantly rude to me. The worker tried to rationalize his impulsive reactions to my misunderstanding but he had already been incredibly disrespectful for no apparent reason. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and will never retaliate rudeness with rudeness in return, but this worker was enough for me to never do business at this location again. Pat in the main office tried his best to be as kind as possible but the behavior from the other worker should be inexcusable when you are running a business based on quality customer service. 3 stars for the overall experience which was made seamless by Pat but the other gentleman was so rude I cant give 5 stars.

This location was clean and the staff was incredibly thorough. They were so helpful and kind. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. I will return to this location.

The service here was great looks like a very busy place and hard to get in. Everybody wants a ground-level storage. I was fortunate enough to find out that I could rent a 10 x 25 they only had one left for $259 a month. They dont have any specials.Manager of the location said its very rare to see a bottom level drive up storage be free people have been running their for 5 10 15 years. So we were lucky to find it when we did.It is off of a very busy street and it is a little cramped in there. But the friendly and helping staff, plus the climate control makes this a prime location.

If I could give this location 10 Stars I would! Far exceeded my expectations. Pat the guy that works the front turned my day into a smooth one. The transition was flawless and the ordering process was a breeze. I came in frustrated as the movers showed up super late but Pat noticed it and easily turned my day into a good direction. Bravo to that guy! 👏

Won’t let me into my storage area . Claims to go to 24 hour access window, then, there is no window . Locked out of my own stuff because I work after 12 o’clock.I couldn’t even get access to the bathroom to Pee.At least the managers a nice guy.

Ive been with this location since 2014 and you will not find a more professional staff secure, clean facility in Dallas. Pat and his wife and Grover understand what coustomer service is and it shows in everything they do!! On a scale of 1 to 10 a 10 plus for sure!!

I really enjoyed the staff at this location. Not only were they helpful, but they actually explained everything about the rental and the vehicle. I have never experienced such helpful and nice staff while renting a truck! I left the store saying “I really want to leave them a review because they were so helpful and thorough.” The man that explained all of the paperwork knew it like the back of his hand, but was very open to questions - and could answer them quickly and easily. The woman that showed me the vehicle was great. She told me all of the tricks to ensure the rental went smoothly, and even added a few jokes along the way. I had a great experience!

This U-Haul is great! Pat, who manages this location, was and continues to be pleasant and knowledgeable. He was able to find me the right size unit for a fair price, and for only $10 more a month, I have 24 hour, seven days a week, safe ( nobody in their right mind would think to bother you here )and monitored ( surveillance is everywhere and visible to all ) access to my storage unit! I love not having to find climate controlled space to store this equipment at! Thank you, Pat!

Though he was nice, he failed to enter the correct drop off location ... I drove to 4 different places (having to keep replace the gas ) and also charged for another day. Nobody would take it and every location was confused as to where it goes. I also was supposed to receive a $100 refund because I was charged the fee two times for some reason, and that also didn’t happen. I’ve never seen so much confusion, and poor performance . Also could NOT get ahold of this location to try to help solve - not once.

Had a truck reservation but at the last minute wanted to change it to a smaller truck, randomly stopped in and had great customer service....he changed my reservation and truck size to a place closer to home. That says a lot about going beyond to help a customers needs

I reserved a truck at this Greenville location. When I arrived they did not have a truck available for me. So now I’m outside on their parking lot while they are calling around town trying to find a truck . Now I have to drive out way north of town for the truck I have already paid for.

Excellent customer service. I bought a TV box, but it was too big for my car. The staff was very helpful and was able to get it into our car safely and securely! I would definitely recommend coming here for any packing and moving needs.

I received Exceptional customer service at this location. The representatives name was Darren or something starting with the letter D. He was very helpful and made the process very easy and explained each and everything. There was a different person there when I went to returned the truck, He was equally professional and helpful. I highly recommend this location. Also, you can park your car here while you use the truck and you can pick it up any time of the night when you come back to return the truck, even when they are closed.

While I appreciate the initial pick up 12 p.m. on Saturday versus a 7 p.m. pick up at the Lower Greenville location-- I chose the lower Greenville location for a specific reason --because they do not haggle with the fact that I pay with a (bank/Credit Union) debit card. . Having transacted over 20 times before with Uhaul Dallas-- I specifically chose the Lower Greenville location anticipating this very issue. The U-Haul Rep that called to give me the earlier reservation verified the location at the end of the phone conversation. When I got there to receive my rental(s) I was informed they were doing me a favor by accepting my card(because of my good rental history) and that if the boss hadnt been there HE (the subordinate) would have asked for another form of payment.As I see it they TOOK Lower Greenville’s business– THEY CALLED ME-- not to mention I had to travel further—so the (sometimes questionable) form of payment shouldn’t have been discussed when I sat down to initiate my rental.The operators who set up these rentals should tell the caller that there could be issues if you try to pay with a debit card. I’m sure I’m not the only person this has happened to.

Weve always had a great experience with the staff. The storage areas are VERY clean with carts at the bottom of each elevator. Theyre in the process of adding a sliding security door to every storage building, a major plus. There are also plenty of mirrors around the facilities so that drivers can always see each other so that you dont get into any fender benders in the lot. Very well thought out.

I was told to move out of handicapped parking as if I did not have the tag hanging in my window! I never been questioned about my logic for parking in handicapped parking before. I believe its completely unethical to question an individuals disability. Maybe the code of ethics within this establishment needs a revision.

I rented a large 15ft truck for couple of hours I returned the truck 5 minutes before the store close a young lady received my paperwork and said everything will be charge to my card, almost 2 hours after I realized that I left my wallet inside the truck but the store was close already so I called the 800 number and explained what happened a nice lady told me that she was going to send a message to the store manager to let them know about my wallet, I was almost sure that I was not going to recover my wallet so I went back to the store next morning before they open at 7am the store manager open the door and asked me how he can help me I told him that the night before I returned the truck and left my wallet inside the truck he asked for my name I told him my name and he pull my wallet out of a drawer, I was so surprised because I couldnt believe some one returned it with all my belongings my credit cards, IDs and cashDefenetely there are still honest people, I really appreciate that unfortunately I dont know the name of the employee but defenetely she deserve a recognition.Thank you !!

Just moved out 2 weeks ago (they were amazing and accommodating then), and they welcomed me back for a free month after a property was destroyed in the recent tornado. Pay attention, businesses: this is how you do it

Truck broke down 40 miles from where we needed to pack for our move. Waited a total of 4 hours with a small child waiting on the side of the road and the service provider- who was very kind- couldn’t get ahold of customer service. Brought back the truck the next day “oh, I’m sorry, we won’t charge you for the dolly” gee thanks ... lost a whole day of packing.

The customer service was horrible. From walking in the door to checking out after dropping off the vehicle, the employee, Grover, was short tempered and rude. He started by yelling that I was not allowed to speak in the lobby. While inspecting the vehicle before leaving and after returning it, he spoke down to me implying that I could not comprehend him.

If youre going to go to a uhaul in Dallas, go to the one south of this location. This place charges 2x more per mile, they have almost no selection in trucks, the older guy is really rude and condescending. The younger lady is much nicer and more helpful, but she even suggested the southern Greenville uhaul instead of their location.

Wow, very very surprised. I actually tried to rent from the Larmanda location, they said it was too late in the evening and they referred me to the Park Lane location, I then thought it was all downhill from there. Boy was I wrong. They lady at the counter could not have been more nice, gave me great, clear instructions even though I had tons of questions, and the price was awesome. I highly recommend this place, and will always rent here if/when I need to!

This should be your ONLY OPTION for UHaul truck rental and storage needs. Alexis and Stephen were extremely helpful and accommodating! The biggest bonus to anyone looking for a storage unit in Dallas, is that they have multiple high quality cameras at their facility and I was told the manager even lives on property. WOW!!!!!!! I was renting a storage unit from Public Storage on mockingbird and 75 for over a year and they treated my like garbage after my unit was broken into (due to their negligence- security gate being broken and open for WEEKS, per their district manager Robert Shushi).This uhaul location was clean, tidy, organized and the staff were very kind. The biggest plus, as a consumer, is their high quality storage cameras that are at all angles, unlike public storage.

I reserved a truck last last minute and barely made it in before closing time but still the woman and the man there were so nice and took their time to go over things with me. The truck was clean and I had no issues with it. Would use them again.

Customer service is fantastic here. I have rented from them in the past and everything went well. Recently I had to go to four different places to buy some boxes. The first place wasnt really a U-haul place though they had U-haul boxes for twice the regular price. They sent me to Home Depot, which had okay boxes, but not everything I needed, and no file boxes.So I came here The guy was unbelievably helpful with all kinds of information. He had unfortunately just sold the last three file boxes, but he gave me exact directions to the place on lower Greenville (which I advise avoiding like the plague) and made sure they had plenty before I left.He was super!
