Unprofessional and completely uninterested in customer service. Waited half an hour only to be told they couldn’t service my Propane tank mounted in my RV.Never using U-Haul again…for anything!

Sergio Bailey James Robbie and the rest of the team members who’s named I forgot at this U-Haul location did a great job helping me feel confident that I could safely tow a trailer for the first time with my car. I highly recommend any first timers use their services.Seriously the best U-Haul experience I have ever had .

A normally quick and easy process turned into an afternoon nightmare on our moving day. Gave us a truck with barely any gas and a HUGE crack in the front window after waiting almost thirty minutes where one guy dealt with a huge line of people. Didnt want to risk the replacement truck having issues too so we gave up.

Extremely unprofessional service and staff. I sent an Ubox from Florida to Dallas. The Ubox wervice was delayed initially scheduled to arrive on July 15th but arrived on July 19th. I was refunded $150 dollars for the delay but then I was denied access both on July 19th and July 22nd despite having scheduled a pick up of the Ubox for July 22nd. Lost 2 days of my work. Then I am being charged extra fees for an extra month of rent $119.95. Would not recommend this service to anyone. I still have not been able to pick up my Ubox. This Uhaul warehouse in Dallas is violating this contract.

Rented the truck from uhaul. Agent said Any issues just take pictures so you don’t have to come back in again and they were busy too. Contract showed full tank went out truck had 3/4 tank of gas took a picture and submitted the pictures of damages and gas tank gauge. Return the truck Saturday the guy said you should have your final receipt in 5 min. Tuesday received the contract closing charged me 30 for Gas. When called 30 min wait time. Make sure don’t trust them tell them to close the contract while you are there. Any discrepancies you can handle it while you are there and don’t have to wait for 30 min on the phone. Called customer service had the pictures to prove that I return the truck with correct fuel.

I Was Told To Wait 20 Min To Refill My Propane Tank The Person Certified Was Running An Errand So Its Been An Hour And Another Employee Asked If They Already Refilled My Tank And I Said No IVe Been Waiting So He Asked For The Person Certified And He Said It Will Be Another 20 Min!! What Type Of People Do they Have Working Here Worst Service Ever!!!

I pulled up and did not see any designated customer parking. I was screamed at to move my car by an employee. I then went into this location and with zero people waiting, it took me 45 minutes to try to rent a trailer. There was only one clerk and he took 3 phone calls and got disturbed by 3 different managers. I only wanted to rent a trailer for a one way haul and drop it off at another location. I was told I had to rent it for 3 days and bring it all the way back to Dallas because there wasn’t an option to do that. I was told I had to buy a connection for the lights and I was only going 3 miles to get my own connection.The whole time, everyone I encountered was extremely rude! I will never do business here again and be treated as rudely as I was today.From the time I arrived until the time I left, 3 different men were all rude to me. I cannot understand how a business can be operated in this way and maintain any customer base. Stay away! Go to another location and do business with their competitors. There are plenty to choose from in Dallas!

The staff here are inept, lazy and do not do their job. I have been trying to access my U Box for 3 weeks. Each time I try to make a reservation to access it I am told someone will call me back to confirm my reservation yet no one had ever called. I showed up to get my stuff anyway and learned my reservation had been cancelled despite no one calling me to confirm it. It looks like I’m going to have to sue to get access to my property. Disgusting way to treat customers. See you guys in court.

Megan, from another location reserved a car hauler for us at this location. She was the greatest but tried to get one closer to where were. Our car was stolen and recovered, but we were a little weary about driving it home. Went to pick up the hauler and was told they didnt have one. We even got the mail confirming the reservation. The manager was rude and upset that another agent reserved at his store. He wanted to send us all over town to get one. We noticed there were quite a few haulers on his location. But we went back to the dealership, got the car and prayed for Gods protection and went on our way. We made the trip no thanks to u haul.

They don’t answer the phone

Cedric (who I believe is the manager at this location) was so helpful! I spent hours on hold with U-Haul customer service trying to get a problem fixed and was told several times that they would have a manager call me back but I never received a call. I decided to call the store directly rather than U-Haul’s customer service line and Cedric fixed the problem immediately.

Terrible experience. When I showed up they had no parking spots available despite having a parking lot with probably 50 U-Haul trucks taking up every available spot. After yelling at me for trying to park alongside the store, they told me to park about half a mile away and walk on the shoulder of a busy road without a sidewalk to get back to the store. Once I got there, the keys for my truck were not in the specified lockbox. Once I finally made it to the front of the line to get my keys, the truck they had given me had a dead battery. I had to wait in line again to get the keys to a new truck after that. The only person who was helpful was the manager that was 30 years younger than either of the people working the customer service desk. Despite taking about an hour and a half to finally get the truck due to their mistakes and inefficiencies, they refused to admit any wrongdoing or provide any sort of refund.

B careful renting U-Haul trucks here. Triple check everything before you leave! This place is unbelievable. They will try to use every cheap trick to make an extra buck off of you.Rented a truck here and specifically asked to confirm the correct name was written on the contract (for insurance purposes). Teller verbally confirmed yes, but after paying, we noticed that the teller simply lied to us to get us out the door. After waiting 45 minutes while the teller pretended to fix the issue, we got fed up and just paid for the extra optional insurance coverage.When we got in the truck, we discovered the fuel level was significantly lower than what was shown on the paperwork. We had to go back inside and force them to mark the fuel level properly.Do yourself a favor - dont trust these people.

This is one of the largest U-haul facilities in the area and it is reflected in the hospitality of the staff and the almost constant visibility of the owner. Shes always very attentive and doing most of the grunt work when I come in which is great to see and shows she truly cares. (Even though the guys inside should pitch in sometime while she bares the heat)The equipment rented from here is well maintained and the prices are standard.My only complaint is the fact theres no ability to access the storage units later at night.

GO TO A DIFFERENT FACILITY. DO NOT USE THIS UHAL LOCATION.I tried to reach this location MULTIPLE times over several days before posting a review, but they ignored my calls. I dont recommend anyone use this location to rent a UHAUL.We woke up the morning of our rental to find out that they had switched pick up locations on us out of nowhere. That was the start of the worst UHAUL experience ever. We made it to the new pickup location and spent more time trying to get the truck than the amount of time we actually used the rental. This included going back and forth with employees at the location about parking which ultimately resulted in having to park at a police station a 10 minute walk away. Once back at the location after a 30 minute parking fiasco where everyone was disagreeing on where I could park my car, I made it in line to pick up the UHAUL that I had reserved online and completed the online check in for. I had to re-do the check in process and eventually was given the code to the lock box that supposedly had the key to the truck inside. Surprise, there was no key in the box. Now time to get back in line and wait my turn again. Luckily, the manager noticed and he came over to help me. I eventually got the missing key and went to the truck only to find that it didnt start. The battery was dead! Now, time to get back in line for a 3rd time... I eventually received the proper keys to a truck that turned on.All that to say that I spent almost 1.5 hours picking up a rental truck that I used for 1 hour. I called and filed a formal complaint but it turns out UHAUL doesnt offer any sort of customer protection and you have to take it up with the location itself. Seeing how this is a very poorly run location, Im not surprised that theyre ignoring my calls and not offering a refund of any kind for this horrible experience (including the extra miles that I was charged for because they changed the location on me at the last minute).Its important to note that since UHAUL doesnt offer any sort of protection, these location-specific reviews are essential to deciding which one to select. It is very frustrating that a company that directs all of their phone calls to a general hotline then doesnt accept responsibility for issues with their locations, but it is what it is I guess.

I had a problem with a turn signal on a trailer that I picked up from another location. I stopped by the Northwest highway branch and the man behind the desk (manager?) inspected it and determined it was my car that was causing the issue. He took the time, over twenty minutes, to test and fix the older hitch wiring on my car. He also gave me a jump when my car didnt start. I really appreciate this kind of personal service. Highly recommended.

I called make appointment and come three times to be able to access my uboxes! The call center and employers in facility say completely different things

They wore busy, sales women that got us didn’t seem content. She will ask me a question and I will reply only to get a stare. Made feel little odd due to the situation. When we brought back the U-Haul my husband spoke to Juan Gonzalez (nametag said “owner”) exclaimed to my husband that the gas tank is not filled to the amount it suppose to be and stated if we have prove! Which we did proved because an employee signed off the sheet with the accurate amount of gas than the suppose amount it was given. He should of asked in a better tone and things would’ve been good. Other than that it was good. ** just take note of gas meter and mileage before leaving and get it signed off by employee as prove.

Best Ever! You must come here and use this U-Haul. I made my way there today even though it was far. I am SO GLAD I did! I needed to have a hitch installed on my new car. It required much more work than I thought. Justin was unbelievable! He did EVERYTHING to ensure I have the complete satisfaction. He even helped me to install my bike rack after having to go through lengthy process with the hitch. We then found out my original bike rack doesnt fit the new hitch any more. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me fix the problem. He tried multiple times to get my bike rack installed stably. He drilled bigger holes to accommodate a bigger bolt. I cant say enough to thank him. I also want to thank Jose for helping. What a place! You must check this place out! The staff are so friendly and helpful!

The lights in my truck worked, but the lights on the Trailer wouldnt work... so they fixed the light to working on the trailer but we had NO lights on my pick-up. So the guy who fixed it got an attitude! The manager acted like the guy that got an attitude was in the right but he returned my money.... and said...sorry, like not our fault but I will apologize.

Three trips to try and fill up propane tanks in the last week and three different reasons why they cant help me. No one answers the phone if I call ahead. Answer in store to how can I avoid wasting my time if you arent filling propane is You just have to stop in and see. Pity, these guys are conveniently located for me, but after 3 tries Ill drive further in the future to avoid wasting the trips

I rented a van here while moving. Checked into a motel and got picked up on a PI charge and had to sit out some tickets in jail. U-Haul picked up the van four days after I was arrested but waited three weeks to notify me that my belongings were in it. Owner refused to speak to me or my attorney about my stuff. Referred us to U-Haul legal. It took 2 months for their attorney to contact us back. Basically my stuff was disposed of before we could even offer to make payment arrangements.

I’m a firefighter/emt so I am used to dealing with difficult people. My experience was here may have been my worst at any auto facility. James in install was rude, angry, and aggressive. Save yourself a headache. Go to a different location.

They did not have an employee scheduled to work who was certified to fill a propane tank, it appears from previous reviews they consistently have problems with getting propane filled

I highly recommend this location for Uhaul renting. The reason....Their work hour is very convenient for the renter and they have a very large space and many trucks. So you dont need to worry about the issue that you have to rent bigger or more expensive truck because of limited number of trucks. The staffs are very polite, patient, professional and friendly. I still remember the nice work of two young men whose name are Richard and Robert. They answered all of my questions patiently and clearly even though I just rent a Uhaul to move a large size bed. They waited for me to check the condition of truck before we drive it away and even reminded me to do it carefully. The truck is clean and I dont need to worry cockroach issue which I heard happening some place else. Moving is a big project and already very stressful. If you used to be a good organizer and planner and dont want any unexpected trouble, I highly recommend you go to this place for a quality and efficient moving.I usually read Google review before making a decision. So I would like share places with good service with people having same needs. Good Luck.

This place is a BIG rip off they are liers, and obviously not doing there job right, just trying to take your money too. My advice to anyone renting here is to check the truck/van very very well. I came here and the girl never told me she was going to send me a link to verify all the damages on the truck she never walked the truck with me nor drove it to the front how they usually do..All she told me was take that first van which was parked close to the street so since I was in a hurry I just turned the truck on and took off, my big mistake was not checking the damn truck:/ The next day I get my receipt then about 3 hours later I get another email with a damage report receipt for $475 charging me for a new bumper..i took off work to go see what was going on I went to the location and Kalab told me he couldn’t do nothing about it that I had to call customer service which honestly they did nothing to help me either. Now I’m stuck paying for something I did not do!! Don’t rent here I won’t be back ever and I will make sure to tell everyone the bad experience I had.

Absolutely horrible. My mother passed away and had a storage unit at the Uhaul on northwest highway in Dallas TX. So my family tried to go see if we could go and get sentimental items such as pictures from the early 1900s of family, and also baby pictures. They would not give us access even though I was power of attorney and had all documents proving such and the death certificate. They stated that it was up for auction! So we just let it go sadly. After about 2 months we get a phone call from them saying that if we want it we can come get it and that due to the circumstances they were going to give us a chance to get the stuff BEFORE they auction it. However, we would have to pay for a locksmith to get the lock off. So we paid $75 and had it taken off. Come to find out once we opened it, the old lock was inside had a freshly drilled lock. And the locksmith said they most likely already auctioned off the unit but seen they couldnt get anything for it which was exactly what happened. So they wanted us to move everything out so they wouldnt have to. Come to find out, the locksmith we called was the same one they called to remove it for auction. So we took what we felt was sentimental and closed the door. Now were getting harassed by an employee named Kayla and theyre threatening to charge US for the storage. I will NEVER use U-haul and will always tell everyone about this.

All packed up for a family trip with our pop-up camper. But as we were hooking up, the brake lights were not working. We thought we might stop by a uhaul to see if there was something they could do. These guys replaced a fuse for us in 10 minutes and at no charge. Very grateful!

I already detailed some of the issues Ive noticed with U-Hauls systems on my review of the Midland location so Im not going to restate that here but what i will say is that all I was doing was dropping off a truck and vehicle carrier and I waited 15 minutes at the sign that says wait before I saw anyone that works for U-Haul aside from the dude that was painting the front windows. The guy kind of came off as a prick. Their policy seems to be to let their employees be as lazy as possible because he didnt help me unhook my vehicle until I made it clear that I wasnt able to remove a strap because it got stuck. Anyways, Im not impressed at all and was happy to just get the hell out of there.

I think Ive used this location 4 or 5 times now. They get you in and out quick its in an easy spot to get to and they have one of the best selections of trucks around they usually have what Im looking for available where will have a very quick better than a lot of the other locations

Everytime i come here to fill my propane tanks it is always an issue.....either the propane tech is out or they dont have enough people to service the customer. Will not be coming back to this location

Be prepared to be ignored. Inompetent staff who actively avoids their customers so they dont to have to work. I sat in their loading zone for 45 minutes because the forgot about me. Twice. I was their only customer on site. Worst uhaul EVER. DO NOT GO HERE.

Experience was slower, inaccurate, and non-resolving.Not enough staff on hand during my pick up, though there were only two customers. Time to pick up my reservation and leave was about 30 minutes. Asked to verify a dolly would be on the truck, discovered there was not once I arrived at my destination. The unfortunate part of Uhaul is that you cannot call the store directly as it always reroutes to a call center.

No complaints, typical Uhaul prices and service.

There is a reason why this place only has 3.8 stars. Their manager/customer service is ridiculously rude and has no common sense. We have closed down our storage with them and they keep charging us for the unit because it has a lock on it, even when we’ve given them permission multiple times to cut the lock because we live three hours away!

There was a line to the door as they continued to have a conversation with each other instead of focusing on the customers. 2 people walked out of the store because of the excessive wait time. I come to this location for propane tank refills, which is a saving over tank exchanges that you get elsewhere.

Made a reservation for a 17 ft truck and a tow dolly for 744.00 went to pick up truck the tow dolly was conveniently not on reservation and uhaul wanted to charge us an extra 300.00 for a last minute add on they are scam artists at this location do not rent from them

Staff is friendly and they did cleaned the trailer on request, but they got confused with my online pickup order and had to change the paper work twice
