Wouldnt recommend shopping at this GameStop location. Had a $5 reward, went in to use it on a game, did not want game insurance. Cashier said you have a reward for free game insurance so Ill add that on for you. Looked at the receipt and the reward was my $5 off of any item. Cashiers phrasing made me think the reward only applied to game insurance, which wasnt true, and cashier also didnt ask if I wanted game insurance. He just told me he was adding it. Waste of money and you cant return insurance. 👎

Do not expect to get ANY limited release day items here. The shady manager admitted to holding/storing release day Pokémon items. Waited 2 hours for him to say they had nothing. Odd that all other gamestops have stock at open on release day…

The associate on 11/19 at 6pm connected the my pro payment to the wrong account and gave me a corporate phone number telling me there was nothing he could do about it. Awful customer service. Will never come back.

WARNING-- Do not order online for pickup at this store. I tried to do that yesterday. Received confirmation emails saying that they were holding two different items for me. When I arrived at the store they only had a record of one of the two items, and even though they had the other in stock, they were only willing to sell it for a $30 higher price than what I had agreed to through the online purchase. The online deals are just a trap to get you into the store. I drove pretty far to the store because I was supposedly getting a great deal. The staff member was very flippant about all of this-- no attempt to show any concern-- no attempt to offer me any form of compensation. She seemed very casual about it all, as though it is a frequent enough practice there. Im left assuming it is a regular practice. I will not fall for their deceitful techniques ever again. I just hope I can prevent other people from going through this...

Games are out but when you bring it up to buy not available

Went here with my boyfriend to buy a new 2DSXL since the GameStop in the mall had awkward customer service, didnt greet us just intensely stared and kind of threwAn awkward silence when he told us none were in stock. The 30 Backus ave GameStop across the street was great, put a really Pretty new 2DSXL on order like second nature if it wasnt in stock. It was a satisfying experience since the one in the fair mall was kind of a scary experience. Wish I could have thanked her more. She was very cute too.

Came in to buy a wireless headset Staff were very helpful, and aided in looking up details about there product. I was asked if I would like to buy a used product (GameStops business model forces employees to sell used products or risk termination) but was not hounded.

The sandwiches here are very good, top quality you could expect a place like this. Definitely on my approved list!

Stopped in over the weekend with the holiday shoppers with a list of pops for a secret santa gift. One of the guys printed out a list of the ones they had so I did t have to go threw every one on the floor. I picked out the few they had that was on my list and they got them for me. One we had a little trouble finding but they looked till it was found. Such a great service and so friendly. Thanks for all your help!!

Okay store but a bit stuffy - staff here though is SPOT ON! Really good people.

Went here to get Controllers for the WII U and they said they didnt have any in stock in all the gamestops in all of Connecticut. How do you not have controllers or products in stock in an entire state? I went literally across the street to Toys R US and they had plenty of them in stock. They usually never have any new games(on/around launch day) in stock ether unless you have pre order them, yet places like Walmart and Toys R US are rarely ever sold out of any games, even on launch day. They give you a bad deal on all trade in values too.
