Their customer service has improved and I’d give that 5 stars. The one star is for their internet which always dropped in prime time in the middle of a show. After changing out the modem multiple times I think the problem is either on the pole or lack of bandwidth. So I dropped them. I am no longer a customer.

I have tried to return a new security and camera system that I upgraded to. What a big mistake!I was supposed to pay a monthly fee for these cameras and alarm system.Instead I was charged $867 all at once out of nowhere! It messed up my bank account and I was charged surcharges!I then called to cancel. After finally explaining myself 100 times to the rep that I was not supposed to be charged all that money they agreed to cancel my account.They told me to drop off the cameras at the local store and I would be refunded.I then uninstalled 6 cameras from the outside of my house and brought them as instructed.I got there, they then gave me a hard time because the notes entered by the rep I spoke to only said I was only eligible for a refund that they needed to figure it out!After waiting for 2 hours they told me to leave and call the phone support again and have them update their notes and come back!So, again, I did as instructed. Nevertheless, same thing all over again. Phone rep updates the notes and tells me to go down to the store and I will be 100 percent reimbursed.Sooooo, I go thinking finally these people have their act together. NOPE! I ended up missing my sons baseball game for a team that my company sponsors for nothing!!!I was told again that nothing could be done because the notes only imply that I am eligible for a refund and that I have to wait to see a manager the next day because their is no one on site today.I will try to go again tomorrow. I am loosing my patience with you people!!!

Once again a really really great experience. Its unfortunate that I cannot remember the womans name but she was super competent and even nicer as she was training another woman. And not to forget the young man in the front at first who couldnt have been nicer! It almost makes me regret how much I hate Comcast. Not!!

I am very impressed with the service at the Danbury CT Xfinity store. When I arrived to return some equipment, there were 3 people in front of me waiting for assistance. The 2 customer service people handled everyones request with efficiency and in a friendly manner. I was in the store for a grand total of 15 minutes!

I dont care how busy they are. I waited 49 min with no response to my issue. To get a hold of them is more difficult than anything. The only reason I still have their service is because they are cheap. If not I would switch rite away. To be honest the service is fine. Its the same as the best youd find. Unfortunately if you want over the phone support though you mind as well have someone hit you with a frying pan cause thats all your going to get. To be clear this is about the xfinity mobile service not the store but their is no where to post. Ive been to that store as well though and I had terrible service too. Either way xfinity needs better people all around.

So I ordered a new phone from that store and waited a month but it never arrived because they apparently never put the order in. I was lied to and they wasted so much of my time. I had to go through 2 hours of unnecessary phone calls because of stupid people working at that store. Never go to that store. Worst service in the world.

Came in with a problem. Needed 2 days to pay my bill. When I called the toll free number I was told too bad. When I came into the store the person who helped me looked at my account, saw I was a long time and good customer and gave me a week. Even when I told him I only needed a day.to pay. This may not sound like a big deal but the account is my 87 yr old mothers. She doesnt go out very much and would be very upset and uncomfortable without her TV.

I recently had the best customer service experience I have ever had here in the past 5 years. I use them for internet, and, just added phones. I had the pleasure of working with Nick, who, was excellent with product knowledge, courteous, professional and efficient. Received an updated modem and had to return old one either ups or store ..I chose store customer service was ok but they really failed when the refused to take the box the modem came in and just wanted old modem..it was there box and I was forced to take back the empty box and recycle boggles the mind

Needed to replace a faulty box but the store was closed due to COVID-19. Called customer service and spent a total of 75 minutes on the phone. They sent out a self install kit. It was the wrong box. I called back and spent another 40 minutes on the phone. They sent out a different box, but it was also wrong. I finally Googled the issue I was having and resolved the matter on my own (something the original agent couldnt help me with, and something I feel stupid for not originally trying). Returned both boxes. I have no use for this company and will probably cut the cord in the coming months.

I went to add a mobile line at this store explained why I was there and my situation to the person In front gave my name and waited almost an hour. When it was finally my turn they informed me that I could not add a line and I needed another account holder there. Our instructions from another store was it would be no problem to add a line. Poor customer from the store manger and two other employees. They gave a poor excuse on why and it that didn’t make sense. I would not recommend or go back. They did not try at all to accommodate to fix the issue. A waste of time. Go online or to another service.

Ordered Xfinity online. Selected this store to pick up my self installation kit. I was able to book an Appointment online before I went to the store. I saw about 6 or 7 customers waiting at the store. I was worried that I would have to wait a long time, but I was immediately called. Highly recommend scheduling the Appointment online before you go. As a new customer moving from Frontier, I had a bunch of questions. Susan was very friendly, listened to my questions patiently and gave me answers and great advice. Installation was super easy !! Love Xfinity

I needed two X1 cable boxes. The store was efficiently manged. I got my boxes with very clear and simple instructions and shown a customer service number to call if I needed additional help.The help the staff gave to other customers that I observed was above average.

I went to exchange a box at the danbury service center. I walked in received my ticket. I waited patiently until 2 out of the 4 reps called people that came in after me. I went to the front desk and asked what is the purpose of the ticket when two people where called when I was next. He said I don’t know but you are next. But I was so irate about it I asked for the manager but by the time the manager came out I was called next. The manager apologized but I already felt neglected and taken advantage of. Apology not accepted. It is not fair when you follow the rules. There should be a board somewhere showing who is next so this will not happen. The person who actually helped me apologized several times but the damage was done and told her it is not her fault but I am angry right now. All customers should be treated equally. 40 minutes later I was done that is to long for a 10 minute transaction. Looking for alternatives on Monday wherecustomers are valued better.

Go see Jarred Jackson! He helped me with an issue porting over 2 new phones to my account. The process took 3 hours to resolve and he was pleasant throughout the entire experience. He would not give up until the issue was fixed and spent a lot of the time on the phone with tech support so that I did not have to.We got pizza while we waited and he even got us napkins and water. Customer service at its finest! Thank you Jarred.

Scam artists. Went to pick up equipment after speaking to rep over the phone-the girl claimed that they couldn’t do it unless they upchsrged my account. She tried to trick me in to changing my agreement to a 2 year contract and claimed that my no contract service would require an additional 10 dollars a month if I wanted them to give me the equipment. I contacted Comcast again by phone and reported this place and they were aware of their tactics. They are attempting to make commission off of existing customers BEWARE.

Saved us!All of the sudden our internet connection stopped working. I was on online chat/on the phone with customer service for almost 4 HOURS! And no one could help me, or tell me why my service just stopped. I was told my modem wasn’t under my account, then that my account wasn’t active. Long story short my boyfriend was able to go into the store and they fixed my account and just gave us a new modem(no fees) in about 45 minutes! I hate this company but my apartment building only uses them, i wasted so many hours on the phone, but the store got it done quickly.

Very strange. One worker typing away at a PC, one on the phone, one helping a customer while the other watches and eight customers sitting waiting. The typist took a moment to tell a customer that normally there are only two peoples Le here on a Sunday, so we are lucky. But isn’t that when most people can come in because they are off work??I like The Xfinity product, but their in store service need a LOT of work.

UPDATE: Usually fast and efficient -- enough to put some shine on Comcasts perpetually tarnished star. Last year I wrote that a few times theyd been backed up and under staffed, which can be really frustrating when all you need to do is drop off or swap a box.I recently had reason to visit this store three days in a row: Saturday, Sunday, Monday. They had different staff levels each day, but staffing matched the traffic load when I was there. Waits were zero to under 5 minutes. Everyone was courteous in the old-school extreme, and EVERYONE that I spoke to was knowledgeable down to geek-level technical details.

The only who knows what they are doing phone wise is Jarred Jackson. I have been having problems with my xfinity phone from day one. He does all he can to help you and has sympathy towards the situation. He is the only person i recommend talking to about anything phone related. If you have problems with it, hes the guy to make an appointment with.

I didnt want to hear when walking into the store, Weve been open all day, you couldnt come in earlier. After a long day at work I came home to find I had severe static on my phone lines again after a full day service call two weeks ago. The online technician advised me to go to the store and pick up a new line. I gave Desiree the phone line and she gave me the ethernet cable. When I told her it was not the right cable she gave me a phone line which again didnt look like the same cable. She got short with me when I asked why the phone line looked so different and said I do this all the time, this is the right cable. My confidence was not high considering she just mistakenly gave me an ethernet cable. Patience and an explanation would have been a better approach.

Salesperson behind counter could care less that I walked in. Went to pay bill & get advice on how to lower my bill that just kept skyrocketing. He was playing on his cell phone, barely made eye contact with me & when I asked advice about bill, told me to call the 800# I was shocked at his rude disposition & uncaring attitude. Nice store but under staffed and misinformed. Went in to open a new mobile account and was told if I did this plan and this phone that Id receive a prepaid gift card after a certain amount of time. That turned out to be untrue. I learned that when I called 3 months later to ask why someone elses name was still coming up on caller ID. Their solution was to change the number without my knowledge.

I had gone there go pick up a new remote for my tv. Mind you, i dont have transportation so it was a hassle to get there. Did pay for the ride to the store . Let me say that the store was clean, no waiting time for what i needed. The technician gave me a remote that didnt work with my tv. I had to call for a technician to come to my house, ($40.00) for him to say to me, well, thats bc this remote doesnt go with your tv. Thats how i found out that i was given the wrong remote. Cost me plenty for their mistake. Just saying, know EXACTLY what u need before you go to the store. I didnt have a clue as to what the new remotes looked like!

TL;DR check your options online before visiting the store.Went to the store to get a new internet connection. The sales lady misinformed us and was making us pay much more for a slower internet. When we checked online and went back immediately to verify. She tried justifying that they would give us higher internet speed which I didn’t want. When I conveyed this and said I want the lower speed option, she was being condescending and rude. And refused to give us the package we wanted asking us to get our connection online.

Terrible service at this store. I gave the man the plan $ amount, the services I wanted and the notes that a previous operator had made and he still signed me up for the wrong services. He even gave me a tutorial on their TV that wouldnt have worked ever with the package he assigned me. Totally inept yet again. Ive been to this store several times and they can never get it right. So exhausting. If I could do less than 1 star I would.

With consideration to their reputation, and my previous experiences with comcast/xfinity, this location provided decent service. Less than a five minute wait and the customer service rep was largely helpful. Best of all, the new equipment that I picked up work perfectly on the first try (rather unusual in my experience ).

The attitude of one the workers here was absolutely atrocious. I was sent to this store by support for damage on a phone and this lady was very rude and told me to just buy a new phone. I deal with customers myself and while I can understand it if theres no help you can offer there is a way to say it. Never coming here again.

Can get crowded regardless of what time of day it is.If youre just there to return equipment (and there are A LOT of people disconnecting service) they should just scan your stuff when you get there and let you drop it off. Instead you sit for 30 minutes doing absolutely nothing, then you talk to a person for 30 seconds and they scan the equipment and youre off.I guess its consistent with the terrible customer service that Comcast is known for.

Store was listed as open online, closed when I arrived. Waited 40min and no one came. There is also no way to call the store and check to see if they are in fact open and the general number for Comcast is unable to connect you. Completely ridiculous and frustrating!

Told from day one I had no contract, we moved to Brookfield wanting to take service with us, Xfinity doesn’t service Brookfield, I had to close account, we were charged $100 early termination fee,????I had to close account due to THEM not servicing Brookfield, I had NO CONTRACT with them, but anyways I had to pay $100.Terrible customer experience.Never again.

Terrible service. We were promised $200 per person as new costumers but had to step out for a couple of hours because they asked us to get a code from our present network. When we came back we were received by a different staff member and we were told that they had no such offer and since it was 30 mins to closing time we were told to come back another day because they said they are having a system update and can no longer accomodate us at that time. The guy even blatantly scolded another staff member in front of us about forgetting to lock the doors. Obviously just saying anything just to get rid of us so he can go home even though they still had 30 mins before closing.

Used to have them. Went on someones behalf. They are still have an extremely slow arduous (high tech they told me) computer system that create long waiting lines. Their service is ok depending upon where you live. But their automated phone service will drive you bonkers and the, usually, substandard live help just puts the nail in the coffin. To boot, they are over priced. They are not worth the money. I dont have cable and sooo happy!

I aranged to cancel internet on a specific future date due to moving. I returned my cable box today and specifically told the employee at the store that we were returning our cable box but we will NOT be cancelling internet service yet. He assured me that was fine, and I have now come home to find out our internet was disconnected. Currently 25 minutes into a call with customer service (as I type this while on indefinite hold). They have now told me that they can’t reconnect the internet because the “technical support team” is gone for the day. This is just the most recent in a long string of support issues and horrible customer service. I can’t explain how happy I am that comcast will not be our ISP after this move.

Unhelpful unfriendly.I called the main number. I asked them to reach out to the local SERVICE center in Danbury. Asked if I could arrive 5 minutes past closing time on a Friday to return two boxes. One that I received this morning arrived by UPS. THE WRONG BOX WAS SENT. The other an original box stopped working. Rep on the phone told me they called the Danbury SERVICE center. He stated that Andy at the store said it would not be a problem, they were backed up and wont be closing anytime soon. I arrived at the 15 Bacus Avenue location at 7:05. Doors locked. I saw 4 customers and at least 3 representatives. First rep to see me at the door waved at me stating they were closed. I remained at the door. I Waited for one of the reps to let one of the customers out of the store. 10 minutes go by, still standing at the locked door. The male rep opened a door on the opposite side of the store to let a customer out. I approached the door to tell him my story. He tried to close the door quickly making me feel like a criminal. I stopped the door before he closed it in my face. He again told me they were closed. I attempted to again tell him my story. He refused to listen. At that time I put the two boxes on the floor of the store. I told him I need to return them. He stated I dont care we are closed and Im not giving you a receipt. At this time a woman rep approached me and got in my face telling me it is my responsibility to hold onto the boxes because without a receipt it is like I never returned them. (Not sure how this will effect my next bill). I was able to talk to her and tell her about the person that I spoke to on the main number. She told me no Andy worked there and she wasnt giving me a receipt either. I left without the two boxes and called the 800 number. New box is being overnighted to my house. They also told me to file a complaint on the website...
