My experience at icare in the Danbury fair mall has been horrible. Firstly, I asked for an OLED replacement and the attendant attempted to sneak an inferior INCELL LCD without me noticing. After which I asked him to put the OLED on and he tried three different OLED options and all three touch digitizers were unresponsive. After which I agreed to pay 158 dollars on September 4, 2021 and he said he would call when they get new OLED screens. He never did. I have been back twice now. Once they found a screen with no markings and we didn’t know if it were OLED or LCD; the next time I came back the attendant looked at the schedule to see who did my repair and if I could come back that day. No continuity. If that weren’t bad enough the LCD they installed has dead pixels and as the digitizer is “in-cell” the dead pixels are simultaneously capacitive dead zones. Do not go to ICARE to fix your phone there are about 4 other options in the mall alone. And don’t be fooled they own multiple kiosks near the auntie annies/lulu lemon area. Long story short they are not upstanding business people nor are they knowledgeable—just shiesty.
