I have to say these guys were great especially Al. I went to 4 places on a sunday trying to get a tire, including 1 in Saugus that booked an online appt. Firestone really delivered for me and got me on my way in an hour. They will be my first stop next time.

A+++ I was absolutely psyched to find a place open on a Sunday first off but the help at the front desk was great and a two hour wait wasnt bad for a Sunday. I left for a few errands only to get a call 12 minutes later saying my tire was ready. I cant recommend this shop highly enough thank you so very much Firestone of Danvers.

They were very efficient in helping me on a Sunday. They were quick and I was back in my car in a couple of hours with a Firestone credit card and a discount on the work they did. They replaced spark plugs and my battery along with an oil change. They one thing that struck me funny is the very next day I had to put air in my front tire. I would have thought they would have checked my tires.

Not the professional service I had hoped for.It was my first and only visit. I figured an oil change, no big deal...Really a mix of personalities working there. They tried to sell me an oil cap for $50 after they drained the oil. Watching the chaos of egos in the garage I left there feeling doubtful that they had done a good job.

I had a catastrophic failure with my rear brakes. I was around the corner from this Firestone shop. They were able to get me in for service immediately, assess the damage, and repair my vehicle before I got out of work later that evening.Shop manager helped me out, taught me a couple things about how and why my brakes failed, and pre applied any available discounts to my order. The final bill was a little pricey but so are cars in general, especially emergency car repairs.They made a really stressful situation a lot easier. Thanks for the service.

I have used a few different car stores throughout the years and never really been super happy. Then my friend recommended this Firestone and I have not gone anywhere else since. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. Not too long ago, I had a flat and I called over. The store was closing but the manager was nice enough to stay open later to help me out. Other than that, the pricing is good and staff are very thorough. Been a few times and never had a problem. I would highly recommended this store to family, friends & strangers.

NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE! STAY AWAY!If I could give no stars, I would. Terrible customer service and very rude employees which make me regret ever going through Firestone. I asked for very simple work to be performed and it’s been nothing but a nightmare ever since. I spent almost $1k on 4 new tires and requested to keep one of the old tires for my spare. I also asked for the spare to be placed back under the vehicle where it belongs. Needless to say, the tire was not placed back under the vehicle which left me to handle it. Not difficult but when the customer is told it will be done then do it! But here is the main reason I will never go through this firestone or any other one in the future AND I will never recommend anyone to go through them. These people decided to not inform me of the back emblem they broke off and just threw it into my back seat. I only found it because of the spare tire they failed to put back under the vehicle. Next they decided to not inform me of the weather stripping they ruined by, I am assuming, sliding the tire in and out of my trunk. They asked me to bring the vehicle back down so they could glue my emblem back on which I find hilarious almost like... oh sorry that we broke this off your vehicle, let’s just glue it back on. Completely unprofessional.Now a month and a half later, I am having some repairs done to my vehicle. When the guy went to loosen the lug nut’s off of my driver side tire. One of the lug nuts completely snapped off with the thread still inside of it. This suggest the last people to work on my car (Firestone in Danvers, MA) either over tightened the lug nut or cross threaded, causing this damage.Currently, I am waiting to hear back from corporate which has informed me they would contact me in the next few days. Absolutely insane to tell a person you’re going to have to wait to hear back. I don’t have all weekend to wait for their response. I need my vehicle!If you care for your car enough then I would stay extremely far away from this firestone. Nothing but a nightmare!

Bait and switch on free brake checks. Advertises free brake checks online, no conditions attached. After service performed, charges for a total vehicle inspection despite being reminded you came for a free break inspection.Tried emailing and was told I had to return to the location to resolve.When I returned I was told if I want a free break check I have to specifically ask for one, even if that is what I scheduled online.Also had no solution for my squeaking brakes.Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because Ive had a positive past experience with one employee. When my alignment plan is used up Ill probably not return, as they cannot be trusted.

Great service they didnt charge me for an engine light chk up. honest and fast turn around. it is too bad that my cars problem was too big for them. they told me that it is a big problem on on 08 saturn vue that i might need a new engine. they could have charge me for a diagnostic. but they guy at the counter didnt great location good ppl i would definitly take my other car there for chk up next time ...

They were awesome! I was in dire need of a new tire as I could not drive on the spare any longer and when I called them at 4:00 Gordon told me to come in and hed get me in and out and that is just what they did! About four other places that I called were either rude, didnt have my tire in stock, couldnt see me until next week or the best is when I called Ford, where the car was purchased... they told me to drop it off the next day at 8:00 a.m. and then I could pick it up by 5:00 thats ridiculous for a tire! Alright so where do I begin? One day, it was raining and at 10MPH, I accelerated too quickly without straining the wheel all the way. I jumped a curb and it took out one of my back tires. I had two options, call AAA have them grab my truck and bring it to my trusted shop in Lynn. This option would leave me without a car for about two days OR, crawl my truck and continue on along to the Firestone which was located there in the same parking lot 50 years away or so...I walked on in, explained the situation to the guys, they were able to take my truck in and the guy even gave me a discount on the tire! This was awesome. He noticed that the TPMS light was on, here is how the conversation went.Firestone: Your TPMS light is on, its probably because it was damaged when the curb took the tire off the wheel.Me: Eehh its alright man, that light has been on since the day I got the car, and Ive tried fixing it before and it always ends up coming back on. Im all set, thanks.Firestone: Well are you sure? Because if if you get it done its usually $80 I can do $60 for it since youre already getting a tire replaced too. That way you walk out of here with that light off and if WoRSt cOmeS tO WorST, yoU cAn juST brINg iT in.Me: Okay you know what okay.I must say, that was a pleasant experience.... Here is where it changes. Im driving down the street, 3 days later the light comes on. I brig it back to the shop. I catch the guys up about this and they say, Well its been really cold outside, just go to a gas station and fill the tires to the same level and you should be fine.Okay the first red flag, you uncharged me for something I wasnt asking for, the least you could do is provide the type of customer service and PUT THE AIR IN THE TIRES YOURSELF. Worst comes to worst I dont have a problem with the advice he gave me, its the way he spoke to me. His body language was so dismissive of my situation and I could feel it. What ever, I leave, I take the car to the station, air in the tires, the light turned off, all good.Two weeks later, the light starts flashing for the first time Ive ever owned the vehicle. I take it back to firestone and they tell me that its because one of the batteries to any one of the the 4 sensors in the wheels of the car, are dead... They told me that I would have to replace the whole sensor, you cant just replace the batteries. This is all true, (also, it was about time this happened, the car is 13 years old with close to 200k miles...What I was upset about was that I was trying to emphasize that I should not have been uphold on that sensor the first time because I didnt think it was necessary. I know my car, I know that replacing those sensors are expensive, and I wanted to replace them all at the same time so that I wouldnt have to keep track of which sensor was replaced in the future.Thats what the whole argument was about, it was so heated. The customer service was horrible. I had to ask the man to back off me, and to lower his voice. His reply was, No Im not going to lower for nothing! The other employees were asking this man to calm down and to leave the area so that they could try to figure this out with me.At this point they asked me to leave the store and I made it clear that I wasnt leaving without a refund for the $60 for that sensor or a police report. AND they were lucky I wasnt asking for pay I missed out on the time I spent going back and forth with theses people.The mechanic overheard the conversation and I said Ill leave if you answer this one question, If you had reset the TPMS system without replacing the sensor, would the light have turned off? The mechanic came out the shop and ended up helping me out. I wanted nothing to do with the staff. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

This autocare place literally saved our day. We were stuck by Exit 39 on I93N for couple of hours. We got a flat tire on our SUV. We called them and they agreed to change the tire if we can get there by 5.30 pm (Saturday closing time is 6pm). This guy Alan, is so so so nice. He and the mechanic actually changed our tires. And we were able to come back to Rhode Island. With all these COVID going on, we might had to get a hotel with a infant. Alan saved our day. He was very patient and nice even though it was a late afternoon on a Saturday. We could not have thank him any more. We gave them a 20$ cash tip, we should have given more. It was a horrible experience to get stuck with a baby and a kid by the road.I am too lazy to write reviews on google and all these online platform. But We had to write this review.Avik & Sarah

Firestone is generally the best of the franchises. If you need tires or other basic services, dont hesitate to choose Firestone, they have helped me out in a jam several times. Very fast and efficient, they will get your car in and out quickly.I have even had more extensive problems that needed a slight mend or a part that was broken and the outlook looked bleak but these guys were always able to take care of me or even recommend me to a more advanced place if my problem escalated. Friendly staff that really looks out for you and your car.If I had to choose between any franchise, I would definitely choose Firestone over the competition.

Mechanics with limited experience. I went in last week to have my tires balanced and they told me that they could not balance them because they had belt shift. And of course I needed four new tires. I just got the tires 10 months ago so I knew they were in good shape. I took the car to my local independent mechanic and of course all four tires are fine they just need to be rotated and balanced. I also had them fix the brakes on my truck and they did a poor job with that. took the truck to my local mechanic and again he said that the work done was very poor. So take it from me avoid Firestone if you can and use a local mechanic. I am not a mechanic and neither is anyone in my family

The WORST customer service I have ever received.The older gentleman whom was cashing me out has the Worst attitude. He was asked to please speak in a manor that i was comfortable with and he stated that he has his fathers voice and not to worry about it. Then when asked that it was unpleasant he then demanded me to accept how he was speaking to me. ROB the manager is the person whom was involved in the miscommunication and refused to come out and speak to me when asked for.... The Worst The Worst The Worst The Worst!!!!!! These guys are great. Ive had multiple employees service my vehicle, and all of them have been very courteous and seem to be thorough. I had the belts replaced there, and a few weeks later the tensioner needed to be adjusted, at no cost to us besides about an hour of our time.I definitely recommend this Firestone. They might have a higher hourly rate, but they wont charge you for inspections and they have great warranties. Also, the mall nearby is a nice plus.

Clean waiting area, nice employees. Only thing is that they are not very fast, but I always walk to the mall and have them call me when Im done. I make an appointment, and make sure Im not in a rush that particular day. Never had a problem after 6 or 7 visits over the past few years.

I came in because I had a flat tire. I have insurance I purchased with my car so my tires will be covered. Which they were but I was told I still had to pay 60$ for a valve kit and a few other things that were not explained. (Valve kits cost a few dollars). They also tried to keep my tire and rim.When I asked for it back so I could go somewhere else I was told that none of my information was even in the system. (This was 20 minutes after.) And told me the guy I was speaking to went home. The other workers had no idea why I would be charged an additional 60$.Very sketchy place.I went to pep boys this morning and my tire was put on, all covered by insurance. No additional charge to me.

This facility and the unsavory people in tried to scam me (actually, I have no doubt that theyve scammed me out of hundreds of dollars). I went in for an oil change and was told I needed two new air filters (at $30 each) and that I had a nail in my rear driver side tire. They even showed me the nail, sprayed with something and seemingly embedded. I asked if it could be patched and Alain said No. (it was right in the center, not near the edge). He went on the say he could order a new tire and have it later in the day, if I wanted to come back. I said no but made an appointment for the following week since there was no air missing nor had my dashboard light gone on. I paid the $125 and left. I watched the tire for a couple of a days and then stopped by a local garage to have them repair the nail (since everyone told me it COULD be repaired). Well, I watched him remove the tire and he was gone for several minutes. He came back and said there was no nail nor even a mark on the tire. He checked ALL the tires to be sure. They were all in excellent condition. Needless to say, I was pretty unhappy by the deception and called the store. Alain wouldnt admit to any wrong doing nor could he explain the miraculous recovery of my tire. After a big fuss, I asked for my money back because I now knew I did not need two new air filters- I had JUST bought this car about 60 days ago! I went into the store and Alain couldnt even LOOK at me, never mind give me my refund. He had one of his underlings handle me. I write this review so nobody else gets scammed (although Im sure everyone that steps through that door has been scammed). This review has one star because I am forced to give it a star but it does not deserve it. I wrote emails to both Gary Garfield (Pres/CEO) and Gordon Knapp (COO) over a week ago and neither man has responded. Not surprising.

I went there for an oil change and just that. After my oil change, before they let me pay, the guy starts telling me that my bearings are gone, my coolant is leaking and my manifold has a leak the work would be over $1700. And a complete engine rebuild.I tell the guy Ill let my mechanic, my brother know. He proceeds to tell me that my car is unsafe to drive and he shouldnt in clear conscience let me leave like that. That I can get it done ASAP, if I sign up for their credit card.I told him to just let me pay for my oil change and give me my keys.And as I was leaving, they were trying totalk an old man into having the four brand new tires he was buying rotated.I am NEVER going there again. I wish there was a 0 star option.

Overpriced for services rendered. $16 to balance a tire that is already mounted with a basic balancer not a road force machine. Do not keep scheduled appts. Scheduled my car for an alignment and 1 hr 20 minutes after the start time I ask what time it will be done and only then am I informed that it hasnt started yet because another car is taking too long. Sorry. I took unpaid time off from work for this.

Had work done on my front right caliper at this location; less than 18 months later, I had to have the entire thing replaced due to the botched job that Firestone did. They tried to fix my car and it didnt work and it turns out they falsified the installation of a new radiator hose. When I called them on this crime they immediately gave me a full refund and I have to have my car towed to another shop. They overcharged on every part and they literally committed a crime by falsifying the installation of parts.

Got charged for a $99.99 diagnostic to tell me that they can not do the diagnostic because they dont have the right tool. I called to find out more info and the gentlemen told me that they did research online about the issue and that is how they knew it needed to be done by real mechanics at Chrysler. Over $200.00 that day for a air bag light on diagnostic, a radiator pressure test and an oil change. Will never be going back to them.
