Very knowledgeable place with those interested in getting into HAM GMRS etc. They have everything from antennas, to amplifiers and radios Some new equipment and some museum pieces in fine working order. Personally, I would take the museum pieces over the new stuff because its more dependable.

This is a gem. Good place to get radio equipment, stereo wiring components. Lots of stuff.

I have bought cables and other items at this store and they are always super nice guys and try to help you find everything you need. They are the only Radio Shack around Wichita from what I have seen.

I had to rush over before they closed but when I walked in he already had the battery I needed ready to go on the counter.

Owner, Mark, works in the store, also is a big ham radio guy, consigns old and new radio equipment, he is very knowledgeable, and easy to talk too. He works with you, not against you. Not many radio shacks left, all privately owned, and in small towns, this one is a gem.

I bought a CB radio from here and having trouble with this radio. I have bought items to make it work better, antennas included and the best way for them to be installed, but still not able to transmit or receive a signal with this radio. I dont know what else to do. I would pay for an upgrade, but have not got offered yet.

B& H sales, known locally as the Derby radio shack or the Candy Store if youre an amateur radio operator harkins back to a day when when the people in a radio shack actually knew about radios and electronics! This is the last bastion of electronic knowledge and supremacy left. Every employee is a licensed image radio operator an incredibly knowledgeable whether you need to fix your whosit, or you need a little new little twisty thingy on your whatsit, or you need to replace one of those newfangled thingamabobs, these guys know how to do it and can probably tell you more than youll ever want to know about it..

Great guys, diamond in the ruff . Due to the area.of location unfortunately not a lot of tinkers left in the area but if you are in fact a tinker they have anything in about everything you can think of for your electronics they even have salvage parts of old capacitors relays mini and micro speakers ect...... along with a hand radio selection above any also have classes for them every month I believe as its a dying art Ive been visiting the store ever since I was a little boy even went on to work at a RadioShack in ten years .but this RadioShack is totally above all Radio Shacks two guys in there have their dedication of many years put in to the store if youre out to spend some money on electronics Id rather my money doing these guys pockets and some big retailer like Best Buy and such great store.

Stopped in for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled. This is one of the few remaining true electronics shops Ive ever been to. Individual components, just about anything HAM radio alongside a healthy selection of RadioShack line products.While I was in today a little kiddo came in with his mom trying to find a charger for a PS3 controller, they had that. They also had a full IFR RF Service Monitor I looked at as well and anything in-between. Thats what makes this shop great, whether youre there for something as simple as a charger or battery on up to full fledged technical products, they have it AND the expertise.This will be a usual stop for me!

This store is a treasure. Its owner and employees have been in business a very long time and knowledge level is top notch. I had multiple needs for radio and antenna, and also for taking Ham Radio exams. Owner knows his stuff and did a great job of listening and helping me to buy what I needed. I highly recommend patronizing this store for an excellent shopping experience.

Radio Shack, who knew? Needed 2 RCA 6 female to male extension cables to interface my poolside outdoor left and right speaker cables with my dedicated receiver inside its custom cabinet and they had these very items to make it all work! Hey, I didnt once work at NASA for nothing!

Honestly I dont frequent this location but over the years I have been very thankful for it on several occasions. They are knowledgeable and have always been well stocked with items that surprised me anyone had in hand. Glad to have the store available when I need it!

This is the BEST ham radio store in Kansas!! Mark is very knowledgeable about all things ham radio and provides excellent customer service! They also offer amateur radio repair service for most major brands. There is a wide assortment of recycled vintage electronics and amateur radio items. They sell antennas, Towers, transceivers, amplifiers, receivers, power supplies, antenna tuners, meters, cables of all kind and all the electronic parts you could ever want. This is not a corporate Radio Shack store so they should survive the Radio Shack Financial reorganization. The store also stocks a wide variety of things that most Radio Shack stores didnt. If Radio Shack as a corporate entity would have followed Marks business plan Radio Shack would be a thriving company and not filing for bankruptcy. Overall this is an excellent store and excellent people to deal with that provide top-notch customer service. I probably spent over $10,000 in there in the last 12 years!

I visit occasionally when visiting Wichita KS. Radio Shack, Ham Radio and CB all in one store. Check out their used section and the museum area. They also have a Ham Radio swap meet outside once a year. Also can order online. Old fashioned kind of owner run store where they help you fix things.

The employees are very friendly and inviting. The store is clean, but could be lit better. They have a large selection of older radio and electronic equipment. If you are someone who restores or had a hobby with older radios this would be the place to go. The employees seemed to genuinely want to help you out and get you anything you needed.

I have shopped here for with Mark for over 30 years! Great knowledge, very personable here. For the Ham radio hobbiest this is our candy store without driving 4-8 hours away to the next closest store.

This place is a joke! Had some worker heavy set guy come up and asked if we needed anything and we ask a question he just shakes his head and basically give us the cold shoulder! Now I know why there is only one radio shack around.

I came here for some LEDs and resistors. The staff was pleasant, but the prices were extremely high. I prefer to support local businesses. But when the prices are 100x higher than online, I cant justify it.
