This store is neat, clean and well organized. One of the best things about shopping here though is the employees. Theyre great. The turnover here isnt high at all so its always a familiar face. All employees are polite, super friendly and willing to go above and beyond. If youre a regular they remember you and act accordingly too. Ive stopped many different Savealot stores and I highly recommend this location.

Its a Franchise now you wont find another store like Savealot for miles around here. Im happy to pop in here every now and then I get tired of Krogers busy crowded ugh. 4 stars because there is a bit of a wait in line but I was patient and I didnt gripe.

Enjoyed how refreshing it was. I am glad I stopped. Just a different atmosphere than ours.

Love the way the employees are very helpful and making sure that the customers are satisfied and this location has local family feel with good hospitality and the prices and large selection of goods makes it one of the best out the east side of Detroit but the parking can be congested especially on the weekends.

It could have been better More lines could have been open. Most cashiers just walking around talking with one another.

Less variety and more costly than Aldi. Although much closer and the hours are reasonable

I am from Virginia, & the save-a-lot is much better there. This store was lacking a lot of what I am use to being at Save-a-lot. Then on top of that they have changed their brand of bottled water to some 7nknown brand that has not been publicized as lead-free. The store as a whole seemed very low on a quality rating scale. I would not go back there unless i had to.

I walked there and bought some nice groceries for a good price and i lefted.It was great!

I needed to quickly purchase some apples and oranges. I stopped into Save A Lot on Gratiot near Mt. Elliott grabbed a bag of each...and quickly checked out. My visit was ok...but I added a star because of the nice person who checked me out at the register.#serviceiseverything! 💗

I like this save a lot it close to downtown and its near a beauty supply and KFC.The always have what Im looking for, food is usually in stock and they give you bags for free unlike Aldis!

You never been to this Save-A-Lot in Detroit since our Save-A-Lot closed in Clinton township we missed the store at least I do anyways now were stuck shopping at Aldis which never has everything that we need I do not care for the store

Love their prices. Always stocked pretty good.

Has inexpensively priced foods, junk food galore, meats, produce, canned goods, crackers, spices, clean isles, and a fairly quiet atmosphere with dim lighting. But you have to buy your own bags. However, the bags they sold me were more durable than the typical grocery store plastic bags.

This is the BEST Sav-A-Lot store to shop at in Detroit city. The store is always clean and the staff are helpful. The only drawback is sometimes certain items are to pricey for the quality of the product.

Cashier Nadi, always ask how are you doing, down to earth and. Jokes . The only thing i dont like is we go there all the time and it seems like they think someone is going to steal something when they always end up behind you like they are watching. Just feel uncomfortable sometimes. We never thought of stealing anything any where. But other then that i like the store.
