The truck that I had reserved with a card online had been given away because I arrived later than anticipated to pick it up. The truck they had available was significantly larger than needed. After taking the larger truck, the passenger door wouldnt open from the outside, the driver side view mirror was held together by duct tape (which would shift during travel) and the truck was in rough shape. After paying for a dolly at the counter, I opened the back at the destination and found no dolly. After calling the store and checking out online, I notified both U-haul and the store that there was no dolly and was told it would be removed from the charges. It was not removed and I was still charged for the dolly that I did not receive. I have left 2 reviews on their website and have not been contacted. It has now been 2 weeks since I had the u-haul. Terrible customer service, terrible maintenance of the vehicle, and a terrible experience overall. Usually use U-haul, will be trying any other service in the future.

Uhaul location stated it was no problem to extend contract if needed. When we needed to do that the next day, we were told we could not do that as someone was waiting on the truck and if we didnt return the vehicle within the hour, they would report the truck stolen!!We were literally on our way to drop off our first load with their largest truck packed to the brim and the option they gave us was to bring it back and get a smaller truck. After telling them that this made no sense, finally a manager stated we needed to get it to them ASAP. Paying for an extra day was no problem but they were not answering the phone. I then went on chat and was told I needed to pay for the extra day and they would notify the location that I was coming to pay. Once I got to the location, of course they had not clue what was going. Why tell customers it is perfectly fine to extend rentals when it really is not!!!

Service is great!....the employee are always professional

The customer service was sub par. I expressed that I needed help picking out a hitch connector for my truck and the representative who was helping me rolled his eyes. He was rude for the first 5 - 10 minutes of our interaction, then seemed to soften as we continued to talk and I would not become rude back. Overall not satisfied with the service. He also forgot to put the chains on the trailer attaching it to my truck, which I now understand was extremely unsafe.

Although customer service was excellent, they tried it! Rented a truck and prior to doing my reservation, I google mapped the mileage for where I needed to go while I had possession of the truck which equaled under 45 miles. I had the truck for 4hours but went over an hour. When I returned the truck they tried to say I drove over 100 miles which I know for FACTS is a lie. My auto insurance requires me to keep gps tracking on my phone and whenever I am in a vehicle whether driving or passenger, my phone tracks my every move. When looking at my insurance app I totaled up the mileage driven while I was in possession of the truck and it was 40 miles!!! I will GLADLY provide screenshots of each trip made in the truck,complete with the screenshots of each trip mapped out..

Smooth process. Did everything online and that made the inside pick up easy and fast

It was horrible. Waited for help, received van with non- working air conditioning and it was 95 degrees outside. Called to make them aware no answer after 20 minutes. I dropped of vehicle called in the morning to make them aware. Manager stated he will handle it. 49 minutes later he called asking when was I returning the vehicle. I recanted our conversation. He then remembered. Poor customer service.

I did the mobile check-in which was more tedious than expected but the manager was very move in helping through the process and the young lady there was nice age cordial. Everyone was friendly and i was happy.

I appreciate the people at this location, and my truck was clean, but in really rough shape. There was a lot of “play” in the steering wheel, the check engine light was one the entire time, there is a huge air leak in the driver door that made it difficult to hear/talk, and a constant squeaking that seemed like an engine belt or wheel bearing. I did not feel comfortable the entire time, and will not rent again. I rent your trucks to assist with furniture delivery from my small business, and this last rental has convinced me to find another provider. Safety is paramount, and while these trucks might pass a DOT inspection, they do not make customers feel safe. I’m not angry, but you’ve lost my business.

The staff was very helpful and any concerns I might have had they explained to me thoroughly, hooked up the trailer with no problem and were very nice. I was having trouble with the app upon drop off and Emanuel helped me sort everything out.

The truck check in was a little long but thats what I expected being that new precautions must be taken for Covid-19. Everyone was friendly and helpful, equipment worked well and I was treated with respect throughout the entire transaction.

I wanted a pickup or van, I was told that I could use a cash deposit. I arrive and Im told that I could not use cash deposit for either. I had to get a more expensive larger truck which doubled what I intended to spend. I was lied to and I dont like that!

I was able to drive in the storage department to put my things in storage. Theres good lighting there. There are also carts there that you can us to take out and push to storage area or take out and put it in the truck. They also have plenty of boxes for packing. The staff were very helpful as well.

VERY rude employee! The gentleman who attended to me was very slow, mumbled, and would not even look at me while speaking. I had to ask him to speak up and repeat himself numerous times and he became visibly annoyed. When I returned the item I rented he was just as rude, and did not even check the item back in properly. I received a call a few days later saying they never received the item back even though I had brought it back an hour after I checked it out. Very unprofessional and rude!

The passenger mirror was broken and would turn while the car was moving (extremely dangerous). I also ordered 4 dozen blankets and a dolly that were not on the truck.

Pickup & return was simple and easy

I used to book at this location regularly with no problems and great customer service, but my recent visit was disappointing. Id reserved a pick up truck but the attendants couldnt find the key, so I gave up. A customer whod entered after me said shed reserved a 10 foot truck but the location booked her for a 15 foot vehicle, and the customer who was ahead of me had booked a pickup truck in advance but was told nothing was available. Too bad. This used to be a fast, helpful location.

Worst U-haul I have been to in my life. And I mean THE worst. The customer service is not great either. I rented a pick-up truck. When I get there they tell me it’s not available. Wasted some time and finally they were able to get one for me. When I did the check in process online the car looked in pristine condition in the pictures but it was all beat up. Wasted some time taking new pictures. I enter the vehicle and all I smell is marijuana. It was very strong. What happened to the no smoke policy? It was dirty as heck too! I left the car and never even made it out of the parking spot. HORRIBLE horrible horrible!

The staff is very helpful, patient and couteous.

There was one person checking in trucks and we waited for over an hour. Then when we returned it, we filled the gas tank up and they still charged us for gas. Saying that the tank wasn’t where we filled it up. I will never rent from this location ever again.

I would recommend this location for the availability of equipment and great customer service.

The storage access panel is constantly out of order and the lines are frequently long. Everything else is up to par....

I would give 0 stars if possible. Nothing but issues. It took 30 minutes before we were even helped and another 50 minutes before they even got us outside to get rhe truck... Very rude, yelling at customers with reservations that whoever came in first would get the trucks and no guarantee for reservations. The guy that holed up the trailer for us had no idea what he was doing, downright dangerous! He didnt tighten down the latch for the hitch ball receiver or hook up the second safety chain! Poorly trained and extremely slow! 90 minutes total to get in and out... Totally unacceptable

Roderick Hollins and his teammates were very professional. They were prompt curteous and have great customer service. They were able to trouble shoot our problems and very attentive. This will be our designated store and will let our family & friends know to use this place for future moves.

Everybody in there was very nice and pleasant didnt have to wait to be waiting on and they hook me up on everything I needed. And Lorenzo the manager was very nice and on his job making sure. The surrounding was very clean.

Crystal the supervisor is unprofessional, rude and should not be in customer service. I have been coming to this uhaul for 10+ years only this location to receive a attitude and be told to leave the store because the supervisor took it upon herself to charge me extra change my truck reservation and put me out the store. Been trying to schedule a hitch to be installed. On several occasions they said they need parts to be ordered. I waited weeks for them to order parts, but they never called me back. I came to the store three times since and every time they say they need to order the parts! Unorganized and inconsiderate.

Got there b4 9am there was about 5 people standing outside waiting but no one was inside to open not until 15min after 9am a guy walks up with his bike saying his bike broke down SMH! Be didnt even apologize to everyone then one of the people in line was told he would get a hitch today by 3 people on the phone but the guy told him they dont have any hitch guy to do it WOW! And he drove all the way from St Clair Shores for this. And the main office is telling people that they have this service but they really DONT SMFH!This company needs to get better with their service its a shame we had this experience

This UHaul dealer is good. Have only used them to rent trucks to move goods. Pretty convenient overall.

I rent trucks from this location regularly (once every 3-4 months or so). The staff is always courteous and helpful and get me in and out of there as quickly as possible. I dont live close to them, and I go to them anyway, because I know I can count on them.

The service rep was very helpful, everything was clean, and they had the trailer I needed that other places didnt have.

Worse service ever.! The Manager used prejudice against me making a insulting accusation that make state issued Driver license was fake.! Ive been pulled over by professional law enforcement and never heard this. Because Im a young black man she turned away my business and was rude and nasty about it.! I will be calling Corporate.

The staff inside was helpful and pleasant, but the staff who was suppose to help us hook up the trailer was definitely bothered by having to assist. Over experience was average. Trailer was in good condition.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IT IS HORRIBLE!! Usually I dont leave reviews, but I got time today. I booked a reservation thru a booking agent but upon my arrival....they gave the truck to someone else. So after waiting for them to fix the issue (3 hours: got there at 5:30 left at 7:00 pm) I was given a different truck than the one I booked. The car engine was going in and out, when I put the key in it wouldnt even start!I dropped the U-haul off 7 hours later. The next morning I checked my account and see that they charged my bank account 6 TIMES!!!! I called the manager Lorenzo and he basically lied and said he only charged me once. Ok, if you only charged me once why am i missing $400.00 out of my bank account...? THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL TRY TO GET OVER ON YOU! I filed a police report so hopefully they get shut down before they try to steal someone elses money.

Derrick white was horrible2 me ...as i came the store he was talking badly about older consumer, that every time she come n she hav to use their restroom..first.they got my reservation wrong..their was a consumer behind me yelling that since my order was wrong he wanted the same truck since his was right, mr white starting fussing back n forth with the male consumer.i said Ill take another truck only one minute later i mention oh yea the yall didnt me email wrong well, mr white went completely off on me he told me to get out several times when i refuse cuz i didnt do any wrong, but say my email wasnt there, he said im calling the police.well he didnt bcuz i as well as he knew that the consumers would comfrim my action...he gave the consumer behind after she came n 20min after me my truck that i agree take after their misstake..bottom line Im sooo horrified and n shock that Mr white has gotten away with this kind of consumers service..want go back on the 4th of july tjey gave me notning he my made wait to get a refund..i never ever been treaded so badly ...and i didnt do any but metion my email not there and i was kind enough to take anothet truck

They usually have the equipment you need, which is nice. Make sure they dont automatically add insurance to your bill if you dont want it.

Customer service was terrible, they didnt know how to work the computers, didnt have the vehicle ready. They get into the vehicle and the mileage on the paper was different from the mileage in the truck. They over charged my credit card.
