Leah gives the best customer service Ive received from an auto shop. Not only is it nice to encounter a friendly female for once but she is professional and truly tries to give appropriate information for the issues you come in for. I came from NYC and already knew my compressor for the AC was the problem and kept hearing high prices, however, being that I have a Jeep I also knew parts are expensive or hard to find. After this location confirmed the issue and ordered the part they were able to get my car in and out within 3hrs which is amazing to me. Ive had to wait all day for repairs that were simpler so I appreciate the speed of service as well. Honestly the only complaint I could possibly have is I called back to ask why the air wasnt working full blast and it wouldnt stay cold for a long period of time, the mechanic explained to Leah who explained to me they didnt have the exact equipment for my Jeep but felt their replacement was adequate enough, however if the issue persists they recommend I go to the actual dealership. Im so grateful they were honest with me and gave me that information but I wish they would have warned me beforehand so maybe I could get further estimates or research more to see what was best for my car and budget. But it seems to be improving just a tiny bit every day. Either way the pricing was still excellent, the service was excellent, and the speed of service was excellent. I brought in my car to be serviced and I was hit with some bad news. My car was not worth the repairs unlike the first place I went to they were very honest with me and didn’t try to “get me” as they would say. The GM Leah, was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining to me the work that would needed and we both agreed it was not with keeping the car. Since then I have now bought a new car and they have checked me out and gave me a clean bill of health plus an oil change. I definitely will be using them for any of my future repairs!!! Leah you’re the BEST!!!!

Very taken back by the integrity they showed today. They called my boyfriend to let him know that some of the parts they ordered and originally quoted ended up coming with another part. So instead of charging me what we agreed on and not saying anything (pocketing the money) they actually took the amount off from the original quote to save us money. This is so lovely right before the holidays! They also started my repairs after same day call and drop off. I will definitely return here.

I recently had to have some work done to my 2010 Toyota Camry. Even though it was not a pleasant situation (having to fix car issues during a pandemic) the lady and mechanic I spoke with were extremely polite. knowledgeable and professional. The lady at the desk was a pleasure to communicate with! They always provided me with updates and worked with me when it came time to pick up the vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend this AAMCO to anyone looking to have something fixed on their vehicle. Hopefully I will not need anything else to be fixed anytime soon but if I do I will definitely return to AAMCO Doraville.

They have a loyal customer for life. My car has been giving me problems since April 2020 due to a worn transmission, had it fixed in Montgomery Alabama. Fast forward 2 months after I replaced it, June 2020 my transmission went out again, I was sold a faulty transmission from LKQ thank God it was on warranty. Leah and staff at AAMCO have been so patient with me while waiting for my replacement transmission from LKQ to come in. She stayed in constant communication and I never felt like a burden. I am so thankful for literally everyone at this place for servicing my car and getting me back up and running. I am coming here for all my servicing needs. I also love that they have flexible repayment options if needed. Y’all, come here ... they get the job done correctly !

Friendly helpful service with excellent warranties.

One of our Office Furniture Expo vans had a transmission that needed repair. We received several quotes that I felt were very high so I decided to call AAMCO in Doraville. Leah quoted us a price and timeline for repair that was superior to other repair shops. We took the van in and got it back this morning. We were very pleased with the transaction from begining to end. I highly recommend them for youe service.

NC resident here, broke down on the side of I-85 in Atlanta. Aamco handled the job with professionalism and charm! They picked up our vehicle from the dealership that offered a replacement transmission over priced and only a 2 year warranty. Aamco provided a 3 year warranty and $1500 in savings! With franchises all over, we have the ability to get warranty work, if needed, 40 miles from our house in NC. Highly recommend this franchise for service and a big shout out to Michael Victor for handling all my needs over the phone and 2 states away!

These guys are great! I took my truck there for a possible transmission issue, and they had it back to me in less than 24 hours. They said that the car was fine and probably was just the cold weather. They advised me to check my alignment.EVERY other auto related place Ive been too(tires,battery, oil change) has always tried to add on some service I didnt need.Im definitely coming back here for my transmission needs.I dealt with Jonathan, and he was respectful and friendly.

I just got my 1998 Suburban transmission fluid changed at this AAMCO location.Mr Kevin is very nice and helpful, my car transmission was carefully checked and fluid was replaced within 1.5 hours, very impressive and very professional.Price is also reasonable.Very honest people to deal with, I highly recommend.Thank you Kevin.

I would have given the location a negative rating if it had been and option. The gentleman who answers the phone there is a horrible at best. He has NEVER kept his word. He has failed to return any off calls. Literally not one single call. Each day Ive called, he has promised to follow up with me on question I had at the time, but never has. My car has been there for over week, and I still dont have an ET of completion. Stay faraway from this shop. Save yourself the headache! I will be filing a formal complaint to their Corporate office and the individual franchise owner.

The service is great and these people are very honest. I brought my 2009 f150 making some weird noises during acceleration. When I tough Ill be spending hundreds of dollars thinking about torque converter or even worst the transmission itself. It ended out been just a plain transmission fluid service. I dont EVER review things, but i must say that these people we very professional. I have 2 (Yes two!) CV joints break, and they were able to heat my axel up, and get those joints off and repaired in about 1 business day. If I had brought it in earlier, it could have been same day.I really appreciate the service, explaining everything to me, and also getting my baby Wanda (the Honda) back up and running!Great job guys!

Matt is AMAZING and his team is OUTSTANDING as well. After a morning of having my battery jumped at least 3 times and being told that it was the alternator by another business, I was referred to AAMCO by an auto insurance company and I am sooo glad I decided to follow through with a visit to this place. Matt did EVERYTHING to make sure I was taken care of... from speaking with the auto insurance company to giving me a ride to Enterprise to get a potential rental and also a ride to replace my new battery... not to mention they did a free diagnostic testing on my car and explained to me that it was indeed the battery and not the alternator and then installed it for me and if that is not enough to convince you that these people not only care about cars but people...he looked at my seatbelt which was not working properly and told me he would get the guys to fix it if they could, but because I was missing a part they referred me to a few places to take my seatbelt and gave me a good amount of options in making sure I was taken care of. If I should ever have any other issues in the future with my car AAMCO will be my #1 choice. My clutch pedal was getting really stiff when the weather got hot and was slipping on occasion. I went into AAMCO really worried about what was wrong and how much it would cost. I left it there and waited for a few hours. Got a call from Kevin informing me that there wasnt a problem and that the clutch pedal just needed a slight adjustment and that the grand total for my repair was $20. The taxi ride home and back cost more than that! Needless to say I was happy and incredibly relieved. I went in thinking there was a serious problem, and they easily could have charged me a few hundred dollars more for the result I got and I would have been just as happy, which I think says a lot about their honesty. Their technicians are experienced and their customer service is excellent. I would recommend anyone with transmission issues to take your car to AAMCO and talk to Kevin.

Far Exceeded my Expectations! From the first moment I connected with the team at AAMCO on Buford Highway I was pleased with their detail and customer service. I replaced a transmission in my 2005 Expedition for less than half of what the Ford dealer wanted and I got a longer warranty! Now that I know they do engine and suspension work as well, I will bring all auto service needs to these guys!

Took my Civic in and they did a great job. Very responsive and honest and delivered on everything promised. Got to meet the owner and learn a little about the history of the shop. Overall a great experience.

I brought my Ford Fusion in after I made the mistake of bringing it to Hennessy Ford. The Fusion is a 2010 with 100,000 miles on it. Both Matt and Adam are extremely honest!! If my Fusion had 60,000 or 70,000 miles on it I would have agreed to have the transmission rebuilt. Unfortunately, a used transmission could not be found.I will be bringing my next car to them for total car care. Anybody looking to go to a dealer for service--dont. Choose these guys!!

Very poor experience. Felt threatened by manager. Brought car in to work on brakes. Their lift broke and told me it would be another 4 days with holidays. Said that was fine, but it wasnt my fault lift broke. No compensation was offered. Manager said no, then owner gave me 50 bucks off. Warning lights were still on when vehicle was picked up. Asked about it and manager, Kevin became violent said I just want you out of my shop, do you want to see my temper cuz its really bad.Very scary situation. Owner compensated $50 in the end, but very bad experience.

I had a Transmission leak on my 2010 F150. After paying Pep Boys 1300.00 dollars, I still had a Transmission leak. I took it to Mitch at AAMCO buford hwy location and they FIXED THE LEAK FOR $430.00. I trust these guys because they did the job correctly and did not overcharge me. I have 4 vehicles and THESE GUYS ARE MY GOTO MECHANICS. Thx AAMCO

I understand things happen during a repair, but I discovered a hose completely missing, that was supposed to be connected to the egr valve after it was repaired there, and no one mentioned it. Also Vacuum hoses were Jerry rigged badly and they did not mention it...

Do not go here. First the work is done by day labors not by AAMCO employees. I found this out the hard way as I am struggling with this marginal transmission. Second the price quoted at the start of the jobs increased 35% after the promise of the out the door price was given.Third my leather seats are ruined and my wife wont sit in the car after she saw my ruined pair of Tan slacks. I had my manual transmission rebuilt 2 years ago. It is broken again now. It took me more than $2000 to do the rebuild job. The car is 1999 Infiniti I30t. It is not worth doing it again. I just traded it in last week.

BOY HAVE THEY SLIPPED. I went here 8 years ago and they seemed competent although high priced. Well there price was now about the same as the dealership but the worst part was my vehicle sat for over 1 week before they fixed it. I had to give money in oerder for them to order parts. What in the world if they cant afford parts thats pretty scary.Be very cautious

Ive been calling around all morning trying to get a great quote on a transmission flush for my 2008 for escape and all roads pointed to a gentleman named Kevin I just called the Aamco on Bufford hwy in Atlanta GA and and i can see why pep boys and jiffy lube told me to give him a ring. Not only did I get my quote but he asked specifically what the problem was (in my opinion) better informed me of what i should do first to save money and who doesnt save money? if i have a problem or not ill definitely take it to Kevin at AAMCO 1st.
