Left a car there for a radio install. Didnt get a call when I was supposed to to let me know to pick it up. Waited a hour and still nothing. Tried calling store to find out you no longer can reach stores and the person that does pick cant tell you the details of the install.Be better Best Buy, customers should be able to get in touch with your stores.

The employees were VERY helpful advising me as I picked out a new modem and router. I didnt really know what to choose, and I was leaning toward a 2-in-1 like Ive had for years. They recommended buying the modem and router separately for faster speed and greater range for the same price. Very happy to have my internet up and running again.

I have been waiting for almost one month appointment to install a key starter then they call me 20 minutes before appointment and said you have to have 2 keys otherwise we cant do it for you actually I do have one key only they should have told me before at least so I can go to the dealer and make another key I never going to buy anything from that Best Buy location. I had experience with Bloomingdale location are way better then Downers grove location.

Store 301 is a shining jewel of the glory days of Best Buy. This store still has a huge selection of great gear and the staff seem genuinely happy. Yeah Amazon might be slightly cheaper (maybe) but you can get the gear you want today AND they tend to stand behind their sales

Ordered a brand new msi motherboard online. This store shipped out a damaged/returned motherboard. A very obvious returned motherboard. I had to return it to bolingbrook. They then charged me an EXTRA $4+ to have a actual new motherboard shipped out.So I had to pay an extra $4+ for the convenience of driving across town and return the garbage board and to get a new board shipped out. Well, maybe new, their track record so far is terrible. Guess I will find out.Not even an apology from the store manager.Not sure how Best Buy is even a thing anymore. Never again. Ill just buy from Amazon.

Only one person acknowledged me while I was looking at tablets besides the security guard and I walked the entire store. Best Buy used to be fun to shop at and thats definitely not the case anymore. I really hate Best Buy because it seems like since the pandemic theyfocus more on fulfilling pick up orders instead of people shopping in store.

I purchased a tv that I wanted delivered at first, then I was able to find someone to transport for me so I went back about 5 hrs later. They told me I had to wait about 2hrs to walk out with it so it could be processed through their system. This is ridiculous. UPDATE - I received a call from their post purchase customer feedback department a few days after my purchase, the young lady I spoke to was very kind and truly empathetic to my situation. I explained my above concerns to her and she communicated then to the actual general manager at the store who offered me a significant credit for my time. This fixed it for me and Im glad they reached out and someone that actually cared and was empowered to fix the issue was able to resolve this and make me whole.

I love this Best Buy in particular because it has a massive appliance department. From high end to your basic everyday appliances, theres so much to choose from. We were in the market for an upgraded fridge as well as a new washer and dryer and this location had everything I could imagine from the latest technology to the newest colors. They also have an extensive TV section with a Magnolia store built right in. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

I prefer going to Best Buy for electronics needs and they have been very helpful with everything from office computer needs to car stereo and how stereo needs. I highly recommend them and will be going there again.6-18-21 I finally got all the stereo pieces needed to upgrade the stereo in my 2008 Porsche Boxster and brought it to Bill in the install department there at Best Buy. He did a fantastic job and hooked up everything perfectly to all the manufacturers specifications and everything works perfectly. Bill really knows what he’s doing and I highly recommend him.

I bought a SONY TV 55’ and after a week it started lagging when I try to cast my laptop and the Bluetooth doesn’t work on this TV(Never mentioned), I was told that it’s a “SMART TV”. I went to the store and asked for return policy they said I’m three days late to fall under return category. I’m glad that I took protection plan if not I would have ended up with defective piece. I spent almost 1k on this and I don’t even get a month of warranty. What a shame.

Had a mishap with an online open-box purchase on Fathers Day. There was a slight mistake made, and I wasnt exactly happy about it as I had to drive 30 minutes away to pick up the item from this location and was about to turn around empty handed. The manager was very understanding and apologetic, and remedied the situation to my expectations. This could have easily ruined my day, but ended up making my day. I just might make the trip out to this location next time I need to make a Best Buy purchase, just to extend my thanks.

The 15 day return policy is so stupid. I seriously thought that under the consumer rights act that you had 30 days no matter the stores return policy. Anyways they tried to say they couldn’t accept the return so I went out and checked the receipt and it was only 10 days since I bought the item. I obviously went back and after the manager overrode the the return policy I got my money back. Needless to say I think Best Buy should change their return policy to 30 days like most places.

Efficient service for curbside pickup. Barricades in the parking lot are clearly labeled with space numbers and instructions, and there were plenty of spaces to accommodate how many people were using the curbside pickup option. Service was prompt despite it being a busy time. The employee that brought out my order was properly masked, polite, professional and efficient. He confirmed the order with me, and made sure everything in the bag was correct before leaving. Very great service!

Was in with a friend who was buying an iPad, I found a screen protector for my watch on clearance for 5$ which I know is pretty low but still this was the price tag but when I took it to the register it came up as 29.99$ and normally I don’t argue with a price but it was clearly advertised as 5$ and instead of honoring it and changing the price tag (which is something as a cashier myself is pretty normal) they just said no sorry we can’t do that the system doesn’t let us. Which sure whatever just take it off my bill but it was the shortness and non empathetic attitude that really bothered me. I work in customer service and have for a long time I get it can suck but it’s your job to be someone the customer can talk to without seeming annoyed

Ordered a laptop never received it on the day promised apparently they use ups and they like to lose customers orders. Best buy didnt wanna compensate me nothing but give my money back when they should have replaced it with another similar one. I made an order for curbside pickup. I have waited two hours and still havent received my product. I then went into the store to figure out whats going on and I am waiting another hour.They are blaming COVID for completely mismanaging the volume of orders. Dont say the order is ready for pickup if you have too many to handle.Where is the convenience or time savings if it would have taken me only 30 minutes to just pick it up myself and buy it at the counter. I am so angry at this whole experience. I dont ever want to buy anything from BestBuy and I hope that on one who reads this buys from BestBuy.Arrrrrrgggggg.

This is the best and most polite best buy I have every visited. Everyone was extremely helpful and greeted me and offered assistant. I mean everyone. An awesome experience and will return soon to make a large purchase as Im preparing to rehab my condo. So Im going to need a nice doorbell camera system. Ring is ok, but there are better camera systems on the market. But this is not about the extremely large selection of items from cameras to televisions to upscale audio video equipment. Plenty of excellent products here. Other bestbuy stores should send employees here to understand customer service. Awesome experience again! Was posted on 21 April#### update####I returned on April 23 and spent $5,600.00I simply couldnt resist that Samsung stove (open box for $1359.... normally was $3300) then I just got a fridge and microwave to go with it. Not too happy with the service. The guy in the cellphone department was not knowledgible on the phone I brought in for a memory card...It was BLU Studio Smartphone, he took out the SIM card holder and was astounded by how unclear the original BLU phones were with the formed card holder. Anyways, he didnt have scissors for the card I bought, so I was forced to go outside to my car and make the change to my phone attachments. Of course I dropped the memory card and had to get out of car and look for it on the car mat...then the SIM card fell out and I couldnt find it even after changing car spaces and taking off my shoes to search inside them. Nonetheless less it wasnt setup to use memory cards just two different sized SIM cards.

Store needs better sprucing up on the outside and entrance. Employees need to know facts before answering a 100%. Bought a device for animation wanted it as a standalone and it wasn’t needed to be connected to a laptop continuously for use. Was pretty frustrated but winded finding a laptop that could serve that purpose but only for it to go bad within 2 weeks of buying it. Staff is friendly. But they need to add a little pizzazz to the store

An item was shipped to my home and is damaged. I called Best Buy support and they said to take it to a store for an exchange. In store they said to call Best Buy corporate to get help. When I called again they were not able to help me so now I’m stuck with the damaged item.Best Buy shipped a damaged item and has not been able to help me fix it. This Best Buy is absolutely one of the best run. The offers from staff for assistance are not just empty offers, but honest offers to help you find what youre looking for. I came in looking for some very specific things, and was assisted by several employees as I traversed the store. I got everything I needed, save one item, and an employee looked up another store it was available at. As long as service like this continues to exist, I will choose Best Buy over Amazon for my electronics needs when they have what I need.

I drove to the store, parked in a pick-up space, let them know through a link which space, type & color of car. Great value on a small tv, but the curbside pickup was an absolute joke, over 2 hours wait, before a successful trip inside to get a courteous customer service manger to assist and get my product and get me on my way. The real problem for me was the BB email stated 25 minute wait time, that could be longer if the are busy? How about setting a realistic expected wait time so a customer knows their product delivery to your car isnt lost or even being handled? Confusion reined, but am very pleased with the online purchased. My rating would have been a 5 if for not the curbside pickup fiasco.

Do not buy appliances from this company. Be warned. I bought a $2500 refrigerator from them and in 8 months I’ve had I’ve 4 techs come out to fix it with no success-clearly I have a lemon of a fridge. So I thought it’s been less than a year I’ll just rent a van and return it or exchange it. Turns out Best Buy is not a best the return policy is 15 days. 15 DAYS I’m discussed and I feel like I’ve been completely ripped off

I scheduled an appointment with geek squad on Monday Feb 1st for Friday Feb 5th at 11 am. Today on Feb 3rd i got a call from the best buys employee named Adrian explaining that the appointment assigning team has assigned this appointment to him; however, he is a home theatre expert and since i booked the appointment for someone to fix and upgrade my mac desktop, he will not be coming to this appointment. I specifically took a day off for this appointment so i can be present during that appointment . The next appointment i was offered was next Tuesday ( after 6 days). I asked him to cancel this appointment. Next I called best buy downers grove and I am on hold for last 20 mins and no one has answered my call yet. It seems like they can do whatever they want and you can not even complain about their unprofessional attitude.

We went to Best Buy for computer equipment. We needed a optical drive, docking hub and a power supply for the hub so the computer does not have to supply to the hub. Since most laptop manufacturers do not offer built in optical drives we needed this feature. The hub provides the necessary ports we need so that we do have to plug and unplug from the computer. We recieved excellent service from the Best Buy Staff. They are very informative helpful.

I was notified that my items were ready for pickup. I drove about 40 minutes to get there to then be told that I can’t pick up my order because we changed the name for pick up. They would not allow me to take my items that I had already paid nearly $1000 for and also had the email with my name to show as the pick up person. They didn’t care nor did they try to accommodate for their ‘system’ not allowing them to check me out. If you can go to another Best Buy, please go anywhere but here
