Perfect for picking out what to put in a new house. A few more options would be nice but they have a wide price range. They have snacks while you design your house. The bathroom is really clean with nice smelling soap and lotion. All the professional people that use this location are very knowledgeable and have helpful opinions with color combos etc. Recommended.
Cody has completed a few warranty repairs in my new home. Each time he has been friendly and thorough! I appreciate his quality work and patience to get things corrected.
Our builder used Carpet Diem to do our new home. Carpet Diem did a terrible job. There are three different locations on the floor where it will creek as you walk over it. Two locations aren’t even level! One of these locations that aren’t level is in a high traffic area. As you walk over it, you feel like you’re walking over a giant lump on the floor. When we asked Carpet Diem to fix these issues they said they wouldn’t fix it because the flooring is within “manufacture tolerance and none of the planks are broken”. I’m very disappointed that Carpet Diem won’t take the time to come out to fix it.
When we built our home, Carpet Diem was (and still is) the official flooring provider for our builder. The builder showed us the horrid laminate and carpet that comes “standard” in our homes unless we choose to go to Carpet Diem and shop for new flooring.Well, we made the mistake. Don’t get me wrong... the sales staff in their studio is SUPER friendly and kind. The install and product quality are the real issue. We paid for ungraded padding throughout the house. I’m not sure if we got said padding because the floor feels very hard and laying on it for more than 5 minutes is painful. The other issue with the padding is that we discovered that is certain places the carpet Diem installers had left a 4-6 gap between the pad edge and the wall. We were told that this is “standard.” But after persistent complaints the installation crew came out and put a 4 inch piece down with some tape. This is supposed to be moisture barrier pad. And an unnecessary seem with a piece of duct tape?Furthermore the carpet (installed in July 2019) is now coming apart. The pile is coming out in long threads. I contacted the builder and they said that it is after their “warranty” and we should contact Carpet Diem. However, multiple attempts at calling them and being “forwarded” to their owner have left me with stained, stain resistant carpet that is coming apart and is well worn. Not even 2 years!!!Finally, we were sold on an “upgraded” laminate plank with a moisture barrier built in. The product looks great. But when you walk across this fabulous planking the planks lift and separate. Again. Builder says that the movement is not significant enough, and it got worse. Once it was significant (the thickness of a quarter) they say “out of warranty.” As stated before... I have called Carpet Diem multiple times and never had anyone call me back.Long story short. Get the included flooring and then go to Home Depot during their free installation sale. That’s what we are going to do this summer. Please learn from our mistake and avoid Carpet Diem and their “upgraded” flooring.
I can’t say enough great things about the design studio and their team! They really cared about helping my tile and flooring ideas come to life at the right price. Beautiful space... treated more like family than a customer
