We are currently buying a car from here the anti lock brake system went out an I pretty much begged them to sale us another car because I didnt feel comfortable putting my kids back in this car instead they sent it to 3 shops an claimed that its fixed so I drove today from the first time in forever cause I refused to drive an so my bf has just been driving it! So there is now a wire harness hanging out of the dash under the brake an gas pedal so family there not very family friendly If you ask me!

Its good if you have no credit or bad credit but it is WAY overpriced. They will not work with you if you are changing jobs (trying to get one that pays more). Said they would pick up the car if late within the first six months but also said they would work with you while doing the paperwork. Ill be glad when my son can build his credit and go somewhere that respects customers for real, not just until the contract is signed.

BEWARE....Bought a truck 06 ram...had several mechanical issues day 1...they act like people dont know about cars...so I had to text the actual owner to even get a call back... definitely not buying from them again... was going to get daughter car there but after this I definitely wont...but starting to get things fixed after a month...not good business... well finally got truck front end work done however its still popping like crazy and took it to a muffler shop and guess what its still coding exhaust issues... RPM hand still not working AC gets hot while driving....Im just going to have to stop payment and take it to dodge and let them correct everything and give the bill to family auto as payment... this is not good for a truck that was just bought... nothing is being corrected they are just erasing the codes...so beware

Broken down cars sold overpriced. This so call family thinks its okay to threaten and harass someone. Take your business else where. They dont deserve it. They change their policies and when you show other wise they still state their word is the policy over the paper.

I purchased a 2012 Dodge Avenger from Family Auto 2 years ago. I definitely didn’t do my homework on this vehicle before purchasing it. The car began to have things go wrong with it so I really began to question why I was paying almost $18,000.00 dollars for a vehicle that is only worth about 6-8,000 dollars in Kelly Blue Book. Odometer Reading at purchase was 151,496 . I would suggest any woman that has to purchase a vehicle, always check the value of the car you’re buying first. Over pricing vehicles is simply WRONG!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Family Auto in Easley. I would also say Family Auto in Pickens as well but that one is no longer there. Go figure, when you do people wrong and over price then your business will not succeed.

Its a buy-here pay-here business. Cars will definitely be more expensive, high rates, etc. But the staff are always very friendly and work as much as they can with you on payments. Its helped us get through a difficult time having it as an option. Also the warranty is very good, and has paid for itself several times now.

Double check when they say they will repair your car. Family Auto said they changed my air filters inside the car. Almost 2 and a half years later I found out that they didnt changed them. The Toyota dealership printed a 4 page list of things that need to be worked on. There was somethings on the list that Family Auto said they fixed and the repairs were not done. I would advise you to run, not walk from Family Auto!!!!

I got me a car from here a little over a week ago. I only drove it for ONE day until the engine light came on. I told the salesman it came on and he said it would go off in a couple of days. The next day it started to give me severe problems and the man told me he would put it in the shop Monday. So Monday came along and it went into the shop. To find out it’s needs a whole brand new transmission and a couple other things was wrong with it. I am still making my payments but the car is still in the shop. I pay over 400 a month to drive this car. I only drove it for literally TWO days after purchasing it and they said it would not be fixed until next Friday. That would make in total of 3 weeks without driving my new car. They would not put me into a new car after like I said being a new customer. Oh and not to mention all together after I am done paying off the car I would be paying $18,000 and it’s a 2009 Nissan Sentra. I have a 4 year old child that has needs and I cannot get back and forth trying to find rides to work and so and so waiting on my car to get fixed. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!! I highly recommend NOBODY to come here and waste your hard earned money!!!!

I didnt want to leave 1 star but had to so I can give my review, but he goes my horror story we bought a 2014 nissan versa note we had that car for 2 months and the whole transmission blew up so they had us waiting for over 3 weeks for a new transmission but they never found one so then as we are desperately needing another car for work they sold us another car a Toyota Camry and gave us a higher payments well again 3 months later it stated shaking and not picking up speed long story short the motor blew up so I do not recommend wasting your time or money here we went to mckinney dodge of Easley and got a 2021 mazda 3 and the payments were $50 dollars cheaper again go see kalil at mckinney dodge they wont cheat you like this place .

My husband and I went to Family Auto of Easley on Sept. 9, 2020 to look at and purchase a minivan. The only one they said we could get was a 2005 kia sedona. Within 2 weeks of having it, its had major problems and we could tell that it was not looked over before we drove it off the lot. I called and spoke to our salesman about the issues it was having and was told Id have to pay $100 to have it fixed, even though Ive had it less than a month. I was completely respectful and calm during the conversation but the salesman was completely rude with me. He even told me that if we decided to give the van back that they would garnish our taxes until the van was paid off. He also told me, after I told him the transmission fluid was black as coal and the filter hadnt been changed in a very long time, he said that nobody should every change the transmission fluid or filter after 100,000 miles because it will cause the transmission to go out in it, and I know thats not true. The van was priced 8 times over what Kelly blue book says its worth, which is only $1500-$2400. And we were told we were getting the van for a steal, and that well never find a vehicle for that price and have a warranty. There are a lot of but here pay here car lots that have cheaper cars and have a good warranty on it. They put hidden fees in your monthly payment price and over charge for every vehicle they have. I would never recommend anyone to buy a car from family auto of Easley. Theres better car lots out there that will work with your credit!

This place is a scam!!!! They sold me a 2008 Scion tC and were asking $10,999 when in reality the cars value is only $2000. Not to mention the car almost got me killed when it died out in the middle of the highway. It seem more days in a mechanics shop than it has on the road in the 3 months I had it. They then put me in a 2012 Chevy Malibu which was even more of a piece of junk. They are the most rude and arrogant individuals and should not be in business. If I could give negative stars for a rating I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!

I like this place. Good people, friendly staff, courteous and helpful. Warranty was a major selling point for me. I don’t know used car lots that offer that kind of benefit. Incentives to buy are awesome (I chose a cruise) and they work with you on income and payment plans, even if you fall on hard times. A real family atmosphere. With all that being said, as with any family, there are issues. When I purchased the vehicle I inspected it thoroughly. I used to write condition reports for vehicles, so I have a really good sense of what to look for. The alignment was a mess when I drove it on the interstate and the check engine light was on. Now, my sales guy Aaron (great guy by the way, my go to guy), gave me vouchers to get repairs done. They sent me to their mechanics, but the alignment is still off and the check engine light is still on. I believe two months have passed and I have not received a ‘follow-up’ call to check in or anything, so I’m rather disappointed. But, I guess, if you’re going to buy a used vehicle you are going to have to eventually spend your own cash for upkeep, which is the risk you take. I just didn’t think I would have to do that so soon. 😐
