Ordered a whole Strawberry Shortcake for my wifes surprise birthday party. The decoration was excellent with lots of fresh fruit but the flavor was very lacking. On top of the lack of flavor, the cake portion was very dry and overcooked. Overall, disappointed. For the price of their products, I will be looking elsewhere next time.

A cappuccino is supposed to be 1/3 each espresso, milk, and foam. It’s not a latte with a little extra foam. And when I ASK for “just a little milk” and STILL get a latte, that’s pretty much the last straw. If you can’t get my order right even after detailed instructions, don’t expect my business any more for your $4 coffees.

If I could give a 10, I would! As a parent of an out of state student, I wanted to send a birthday cake to him and his brothers. Not only, was the staff very helpful ordering the cakes, but also, they checked the day before to make sure all was correct. Delivery was perfect and when I hear my son use the descriptives beautiful and delicious, I know its true. Highly recommend this bakery!

Came to check out their pastry selection and the ones on display were very underwhelming. Not much varieties so I went with a slice of classic cheesecake that was almost $6. To my dismay, the first bite and I could taste the overnight refrigerator taste on the cake. It tasted like the cake was left open in the fridge and I could not taste the cheese, only the taste of the disgusting cooler. I threw the slice right away. I’ve had good experiences with their custom made cakes, but their slices truly disappointed me.

I found this bakery when I Googled fresh macarons near me since we didnt want to buy frozen ones for my daughters birthday. I was able to see the whole menu, and all varieties of macarons, put together a couple variety boxes, pay online, and they were ready by the time I drove there! Super simple! The macarons are heavenly, as well as the salted caramel brownie and double chocolate cake! I cant wait to take advantage of this bakery more!

Chapelure has good coffee, but nothing stands out as exceptional or special. The prices are reasonable, under $5 for a large vanilla latte. They had a lot of pastries to choose from, but we were killing time before lunch. Id definitely go back but I wont pencil it in or make a point to visit. Maybe that changes over time.

I am baffled by this place. When you walk in, it boasts that it combines eastern and western coffee and pastries. Next, there’s a local newspaper article saying that the owners are Koreans who also own the Sansu sushi restaurant nearby. But when I look at the menu and the 75% empty pastry area, I wonder every time “where is the eastern part?” It has the most typical kinds of American coffees and espressos and some cakes but what exactly about this place is eastern? It makes no sense to me. Also, the first time I went here I ordered a cappuccino and it was the worst one I’ve ever had anywhere.

A unique fusion of French and Japanese pastries, its definitely worth a visit. The Green Tea Chiffon Cake is one of my favorite desserts! They are one of the few places that make pastries that are not sickeningly sweet. They dont need the excess sugar because the rest of the ingredients are so flavorful. This can be a good place to sit and work for a while although it tends to get pricey as you continually crave more of their tempting desserts.

Pastries are tasty in general, albeit being a bit on the pricey side. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they have offered me nice recommendations on goodies and drinks. They do have ham and cheese croissants, but I often want the almond bear claw or something chocolate instead, so this works for me.They know I do it, and they just smile.

Very disappointed. Tried their pastries, and I was beyond unimpressed. Thin and crispy cherry and apple danishes for nearly $4 each, chocolate filled pastry was dry and crispy and $4, salted caramel brownie was the best thing even though it seemed undercooked, about $3 for it. You can get MUCH better baked goods at Meijer, Kroger, Quality Dairy, Sams Club, for a fraction of the price. I mean even Starbucks and Biggby have better baked good, and desserts. The place was clean and tidy and the staff was nice. Thats just not reason enough to come back. I mainly came at opening for a cannoli, which they said they wouldnt have until later in the day. I really wanted to like this place considering its not a chain restaurant. The reviews are very misleading, or maybe they have recently changed within the last couple months. Nonetheless, I wouldnt recommend anyone to try this place.

Its also centrally located so there are lots of places you can stop for dinner first, then escape the noisey dinner crowd to chill with some cake and coffee.
