I come here more and more frequently. I just purchased my first house and Ive been updating and perfecting many parts about it. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. They dont always give me the correct recommendations I find for things I need, however their intentions are good. Ive rented their truck a couple times now with great success on bigger projects, and their PRO Desk Services are the best! Im very impressed with how they handle that and have that all setup. They definitely go above and beyond to help you. The only area I can never ever seem to find anyone to help me is in the GARDEN center area. Maybe they are just seasonally staffed? I will continue to frequent here often for home improvement needs.

Some staff was more helpful than others, but over all great interaction with employees. Frustrated I only saw self checkouts open & frustrated a sign said you were supposed to wear a mask in the store!

Some of the nicest people around!! Always willing to help you out, all you have to do is ask. Hell, half the time you dont even need to ask, they just happen to be walking around doing something else and notice your needing help with something. Theyre very good at reading people. Definitely more helpful than the people at their competitors.

I had the most positive experience Ive ever had at a Home Depot yesterday - I will drive out of my way to go to Eden Prairie now!! I had a miscellaneous cart full of goods I needed to find and buy for a charity event. Everyone I asked for assistance on where things were were HELPFUL, FRIENDLY and often walked me to where I needed to go. The customer service was absolutely AMAZING!!

Horrible customer service! I went tonight looking to buy two pieces of wood and have them cut. First of all you cant ever find someone in the aisles, so it took me 15 minutes or so to stumble into someone. Then when I asked if I could get help cutting the wood, I was told it could only be cut in one direction. When I asked why, explained what I was trying to do, and asked if there were other dimensions of wood I could purchase, the employee just stood there and didnt say a single word until I walked away! I went to the front of the store and saw three other employees standing around talking, and they tried to sell me a table saw! Talk about not caring about the customer. 4 different people and not one of them listened or explained things to me or tried to offer a reasonable alternative. Ill go to Lowes from now on.

I love this place. Its my go-to for all of my projects. They have everything I need and its so well organized and tidy that I can find anything without having to search. They have excellent customer service. Theyre employees are always welcoming, helpful, informative, and take the extra time to make sure you are getting what youre looking for.

I was in an accident recently, and I wanted to purchase some water the ladies at the front desk really helped me a Somali lady, and an oriental lady they were also willing to help me carry the water to my car that I just purchased. But then came this young man named Paul, Paul was so helpful young man. He was so willing to help me put everything in my cart and then pushed my cart for me out to my car and loaded my car for me. The home Depot should reward these three but especially Paul with some type of monthly employee of the month award. Paul deserves to be the employee of the month; anytime you go that far out of your way to help a customer youre earning your stripes, and showing your company your integrity. What a great reflection for the home Depot.

Awful experience. We went to get piece of ply wood cut down to size. The first employee to help us could not get it cut down to the size we needed. We had to go through 3 full sheets of wood over the span of an hour. After multiple fails, a second employee, Tourney, was able to cut to size what we needed. He was able to comp us on our wood due to the time we had to wait. Overall bad experience but was turned around by Tourneys professionalism.

It is my go to place for all hardware, gardening tools, lawn care and a trillion other things. But that’s not what makes home depot different. The employees are experts in the area they service. John, Jeff and all you folks make my life easy with the knowledge you share. Thanks a ton 😊

Posting the entire content of an email I wrote to Crew2, the Home Depot contractor for flooring installation below. I have spoken to two different managers and the sales consultant in flooring about these issues to no avail. DO NOT get flooring installed through Home Depot unless you want to run the risk of the issues we encountered. While no job will always go as planned, the complete lack of response and follow-through to resolve is wholly unacceptable after spending over $5k. I should further note that nearly every transition now has tack strip nails sticking up through the carpet & our family has to avoid the transitions unless they want to be stuck in the foot with nails.Reply to Crew2s request for feedback, sent on July 29th, 2021:The number in this email is incorrect--it goes to a plumbing company. I am writing to you about the horrible experience we had last Friday with Crew2 and Home Depot. The issues were as follows:-Installers arrived at 11:30a, did not have masks nor did they want to wear them.-We provided cloth masks from our own supply, they wore them under their nose, or removed them altogether during the job, then proceeded to take the masks with them when they left.-A transition piece between our carpet and Home Depot LVT was refused installation. Home Depot said this was their mistake, but the problems continued.-Overall, the installers wouldnt speak to me during the job and had a very poor, dismissive attitude despite staying out of the floor where they needed to work and offering them bottled water.-At 4:00p, I asked how much additional time they needed to finish the job, as I had to leave home at 5:15 for a prior commitment. They told me 3-4 more hours meaning that they would be leaving my home between 8-9p at night. I contacted Home Depot as I couldnt stay, wasnt informed that an install would go beyond normal business hours, and I didnt feel comfortable leaving strangers in our home. Home Depot couldnt contact anyone with Crew2 to resolve, so I reluctantly left them at our home because our entire lower level was uninhabitable unless the job was done. I told them they could exit through the side door of our garage when they were done so the house would be secure.-I got home just before 9pm. Our home was left unlocked. Furniture was not moved back. Black handprints were all over our walls. Debris and trash was left behind. Rooms that were not part of the job, one that contained our files with sensitive financial and personal information had been gone into, furniture, workout equipment, and files had been moved in those rooms.-At the bottom of our stairs the landing was laid in the opposite direction of the rest of the pattern coming down the stairs and on the lower level.-In the one bedroom on our main floor the nails from the tack strip stick up through the carpet where it transitions to the bathroom and hallway tile.I have contacted Home Depot about all of the above issues and they have been generally dismissive of most of our concerns. I am not expecting a different response from you, but I am hoping you will take this seriously. This was the worst experience we have ever had with Home Depot or Crew2 and I would hope that this isnt what either of you want for your customers.

Home Depot in Eden Prairie had every thing I needed for a closet project. There were helpful staff available to answer any questions. I did not have to wait in line to check out. Everything was fast and easy!

I have come to EP Home Depot often and usually receive great customer service and they always have what I need. Today, was exceptional! I usually call before I come to get 5gl water bottles but I was in a hurry today. They did not have anymore. Paul came to the rescue and went to the back and found some for me. Thank you Paul and to the guys that were so kind to bring them out. It’s the little things that truly help people out.

Funny story from the garden center. The Home Depot website is very clear that they work with a partner to recycle plant pots. I approached five different employees in the garden center and none of them had heard of pot recycling. The first three employees were unwilling to even give me the time of day. Finally after 15 minutes of asking around the fifth guy thinks I made it up and makes me (the customer) bring it up from the Home Depot website. I did that and finally he let me throw some pots in the corner. Come on people. Tell your local people about your policies.

Service was great store was packed and I was in and out with a trailer load in less than a half hour. Service young man was awesome that loaded everything. Tipped him 5 dollars works hard and in the heat. Everyone should give something even if its a dollar.

Okay store. Not set up as nice as other locations and Ive witnessed better/more knowledgeable customer experience at other locations (Chaska especially).

My trip was nice, When I was buying my ladder and I stepped down for a moment I seemed to have lost my pants. The tools were nice but then Michells pants were also gone. We were absolutely embarrassed, would not recommend.

Service definitely varies between store locations. Eden Prairie refused to cut some plywood for me because it was too much trouble. Pretty sure thats what the guys job is. The kid at the Bemidji store was happy to do it.

Ive done a lot of research in trying to find the best pricing deals in everything I purchase. Whether its new carpeting, appliances, tools or recently new kitchen cabinets Home Depot had the best prices and were most the most flexible in working with me financing my projects. It comes down to the quality ultimately.

Contractor beware!!! Home Depot has to be worst place to buy bulk materials. Ive never wasted so much time at a supply center, this is a regular thing. Shuffled around the store, no clear answers, no managers to be found, refunds unavailable etc….

I bought some chandelier lights back in October 10, 2020 and now its January 26, 2021 I went to return it because the owner didnt like the styles so I had to return them. Home Depot took it back with no problem as long as I have the receipt which I did in my email. It was simple with no questions asked. Highly recommend this place.

Extremely poor customer service.So me and my brother are standing in Flooring section for past 20+ minutes with no luck in someone helping us. Two HD gentlemen past by us couple times but again no acknowledgement or courtesy to stop by and help us! Really??

Was only looking for a sun shade/screen for my balcony, found one perfect size, great price, and easy as hell to install with help from Home Depot staff giving me directions.

I never get good customer service here, idk why I keep going. They also never answer their phone.

I like this home depot location. They usually have someone setting up carts in the entry and if that person doesnt know where what you are looking for is located, theyll check and point you in the right direction. Lots of mask wearing (a few proud noses but they were in the minority). Good amount of cashiers, and the one that helped me today was awesome.

I needed some keys made and was assisted by two associates on two different machines. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Experienced great service here on a sunday morning. Had questions on flooring and got some great advice.

I have never had a bad experience here. If I were to have 1 complaint it would be that their selection of drip irrigation is lackluster compared to menards.

Great home improvement store. Did the curbside pick up today for the first time. 24 pcs total but only 8 different items. Simple stuff to pick. Well, they didnt get it right. Back to the store tomorrow. Not to self, Always, always check the order before leaving to save a trip. It happens, my bad for not checking.

I checked online and called to see if an item was in stock. The website said yes, and the guy on the phone said yes. I got there, and it wasnt in stock and hadnt been in stock for a week. A wasted trip.

Wish I could give no stars. Still waiting for my pick up order that was placed 2 days ago. I’ve called and called and called the store for hours today being Monday and I gave them the weekend to get it picked. They never answered and then I talk to the corporate number and they say the same. “It’s in staging” and I can’t just go get the item and basically pull it for them and go to a manager. This store is a joke and this isn’t the first time this has happened. Last time I go here. I’d rather go to the Menards a block away.

I purchased a Jeld-Wen front entry door. It sounds like twigs cracking and popping when the sun warms and then cools. Very noisy. I talked to Chad, and Kevin at the Eden prairie Home Depot. They won’t stand behind their product. Read reviews before buying expensive doors from Home Depot.

Great location, great staff! I did once experience a staffer going customer to customer to give a long spiel about water heaters that were on sale. That was super annoying.

I went in for paint on Saturday. First, there was no sense for where the line started of who was getting helped next. The primary reason for the rate however is the wrong paint was mixed. I brought in the cover of my old Behr paint. It had ALL details of color, mix, base, etc on the cover. I confirmed that I wanted the exact same color. After receiving it I purchased a few other items and left. I used the paint as soon as I got home, only to realize the shade was off. Looking closer (realized I could have checked at the store), it was a different color name entirely. So I now have paint I cant use and have to drive back for more. If I had not provided all details of the original color, I know I would have checked closer, but am really disappointed over a mistake for such an easy request.

This site usually has everything always in stock. Very clean, friendly staff. My only complaint is that they are frequently out of terra-cotta flower pots in all sizes.

I dont recommend this location. Customer service is at an all-time low. I stopped in recently for a small purchase. Couldnt locate anyone to assist, however 6 employees were hanging around the front registers talking about their lunch meals. Seriously, for better service, just shop at Menards or your local hardware store. Forget Home Depot

Cant find anything. Nobody knows where anything is. I asked two people, one guy doesnt even lift his head and mumbles aisle 21. nope. Next guy sends me to the other end of the store. Nope. Menards gets my business from now on.

No carts in the garden center, wanted 10 bags of soil and had to go back to front door and could not find flatbed so had to use a regular cart. Must have been a bad day as no employees greeted me. Walked up one of the plumbing aisles and so many pallets I could hardly get by.

I choose the option of curbside pick up at Home Depot, I waited for 25 minutes and no one came back, on top of that the Home Depot guy didnt wear his mask and was asking my husbands order number within a foot of his face. What is the point of not going inside the store if employees dont wear masks or respect social distancing. I will cancel my order. It would have been faster and safer to just go inside the store, horrible customer service! They need to train their staff.

Home Depot has no regard for customer service and has suspended the practice of complaint resolution. So, if you are a long-time customer but run into an issue that is 100% Home Depots fault they will not even bother to follow up with you. Store Managers, Regional Managers etc have no accountability. Just terrible

Their staff product knowledge has slipped significantly the past 10 to 15 years and their product selection and availability is becoming pathetic. They used to be my only stop but I now buy at least 50% of my supplies and tools from the other two stores.

Why cant I ever get any help? Always so many employees around but they always seem to busy to get their attention. I have been in the door department several times patiently waiting for help and I never get any. So frustrating.

A lot of employees standing around. Asked two to locate and item that wasn’t where it said on the website and they both said, “oh probably in Aisle 15 or something.” Which of course was wrong. Also 3 people without masks walking around and no employees said anything.

Even tho i couldnt get the exact item that i needed they went out of there way to give me the information i needed to make the right decission as a consumer. Horrible! They had me going back and forth to 2 stores searching for a tool that one of the told me they had 3. Drove to that store to find out they didnt have any! I was told that an employee had put the wrong tool in the the place of mine. On top of that they wouldnt let me return a smaller version of the tool at the Eden Prairie store because I purchased it 2 hrs earlier at the Chaska store!!! Total BS! Driving back and forth wasting my time, oh sorry!!!!

An employee at his service desk seemed annoyed that he was asked for the location of padlocks. (of course he did not know. Was trying to call someone to ask, when a more helpful lady stepped in to help me.)

They were really cool with helping me when I was trying to buy Window Alert anti bird collision window film for the cheep cheeps.... This product has to be ordered online, and they helped me figure out a way to be able to order the product online and pay in cash. This is also the place where I got the bird feeder pole for our cheep cheeps... Its been over a year and the pole is still all good, even with our tubby squirrels jumping on it all the time.

I prefer home depot over fleet farm. The have more variety of lumber and tools. And hardware. Fleet farm is very limited.

I liked it. More or less a typical Home Depot. Not that busy so it hasnt been upgraded/restyled like some of the stores I have been in in very busy locations (like in southern Florida), but on the other hand pleasant because its not usually crazy busy.The staff is friendly and the store is well stocked with items on the shelves in easy reach. The store was clean and well maintained, plenty of larger items on display in the relevant locations. The parking was ample and easy to navigate, with good access from the road. Handicap parking is accessible and within good distance from the store. Worth the visit if in the area.

When the store actually has the items in stock that the website indicates is supposed to be there I take that as a win.Yes the item was in stock at the quantities indicated. Store was clean and stocked.

This Home Depot works great for most of my home repair and project supplies. The folks in the paint department are always helpful. The garden center is well stocked with a good selection of plants and mulches. The tool and yard implements are excellent and they only stock good brands. Prices are competitive. You can order online to pick up in store if they dont have it at your store. This location is pretty chill and when it is busy they typically have enough people to help checkout. The service desk can take a while sometimes even when the line is short but that seems to be the case at most places nowadays.

The Eden Prairie location seems to have more knowledgable workers than other Home Depot locations, but sometimes hard to locate. Overall a good location.
