The only reason Im giving it two stars is because Ive never been there in person and its possibly better.Not worth the effort of trying to call or contact on website. Called and emailed twice on different days at different times in case theyre busy. Second time I called someone picked up the phone just to hang it up. I dont even want to know what theyre like in person anymore and would recommend taking business elsewhere.

I usually go to mister mister for my wash and when I need an oil change or inspection. I came to this place because its close to home and I can walk back if they are going to be a long wait. There is a restaurant across the street so no problem. I was told it could take an hour so I went across the street it took maybe less than 30 minutes the cashier was very friendly even told me what was good at the restaurant. My car was returned clean so I know they used wipes as I could smell the sanitizer not oil or smells from a garage. Im sure I will go back to this place if I have mechanical problems. Very nice place.

As soon as I got off the car with my toddler and husband’s grandmother, the old man (mechanic) decided to give his own opinion on me bringing them with me. He stated it was impractical to bring “the whole family” to the auto shop. The employee was very unprofessional, I did not go there to be given his opinion on what I choose to do, I went there to get my car inspected. He wasn’t even the mechanic that was helping me. Please have employees trained better on keeping their unprofessional and unhelpful opinions to themselves.

Went in for smog/safety check. They were very busy, but took my car right away. I was in and out quickly. Thank you.

Trust a chuck in a truck with you vehicle? Yeah neither would I. Horrible professionalism and not family friendly. Apparently it’s “impractical” to bring your family to run errands. Single mother’s and military spouses beware.

My experience was better the second time I met Raul. He is a dedicated mechanic who cares about his customers. His shop is full of cars but I highly recommend him.

Honest, thats what were all looking for in a mechanic. While Im in no auto technician, I know enough to know when there not on the level. Personally I feel this so its one you can trust.

We were in a bind and needed our car inspected prior to getting it registered. The kind lady with hazel eyes immediately helped us, was super sweet, and got the guys to attend to us immediately. We had a horrible day and this place came to the rescue. Incredible customer service, highly recommend!!

I’ve been here before for repairs and that went ok. The price was decent and the time frame wasn’t too bad. The customer service has always been poor in my opinion. This time around my engine was overheating, so I took it in and they replaced the radiator fan which to me the work seemed a little shorty. There were some wires that didn’t look like they belonged where they were left poking out of the radiator fan but I figured it’s ok cause everything seems fine now. A little more than a year later my car is overheating again and to me it doesn’t sound like the fan is turning on. I take it to them for diagnosis and tell them that I don’t think the fan is turning on and that it’s overheating. Five hours later and they haven’t contacted me so I call them and to me it sounds like they haven’t even looked at my car. But an hour after that they call me and tell me that they couldn’t duplicate the overheating and didn’t find anything wrong with my car which I found very suspicious. I pick up my car and drive for a little less than a week and it starts to overheat again. I take it to another shop and they diagnose it with a bad connector and radiator fan.I believe the shotty electrical work at Chelmont is what led to my connector burning out and that Chelmont knew this but didn’t want to have to repair it free of charge cause it was their fault. I say this because when I got my car back from them after the diagnosis the wires that were poking out were mysteriously gone.Let’s just say I don’t trust Chelmont and won’t be giving them any more of my hard earned money.

I like this place they friendly and perfessional and quick. God Bless them I will continue going.

Always come here for my inspection stickers. Just very easy to work with and they get you in and out as fast as possible. Can get busy though

I have been a customer for over 10 years, they now have started poor workmanship. For past 2 years have taken truck for ac repair. Still not working. I replaced the ac compressor which was pretty filled with oil. Wanted to charge me to place oil in compressor and now ac is just blowing hot air.

Went to get the state inspection at this place twice. Horrible customer service, I would not recommend anyone take their car here for inspection. Both times they had me waiting for well over an hour. Mechanics and employees are rude, and top it off, the waiting area is very small and uncomfortable. The owners family is frequently hanging out there making it an uncomfortable, stuffy waiting experience.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!We came from out of town for a wedding and our truck decided to give us issues. We called and they told us to go in right away. Raul took care of us from start to finish. He told us specifically what was wrong and didn’t beat around the bush. He was honest and I felt very comfortable letting them work on my car. What a lifesaver! They even took us back to our hotel and picked us up when the truck was ready. Truly blessed to have done business with them! Definitely recommend 100%!

This is pretty much a typical run of the mill shop. You can set up an appointment and 4 hours later theyll start working on it. The parking lot is a mess and theres nowhere for a customer to wait. You are forced to drop it off and hope that they get to it. Theres a lot better options if your time and money is valuable to you. The 4.3 rating on this place is very suspect. Chelmont Auto Center have the inability to conduct a diagnostic for a vehicle I trusted them to repair. I paid this business to fix an oil leak but the issue remained despite bringing it to their attention twice. I picked up my vehicle in the same condition as I first brought it to them. From experience, Chelmont Auto Center is best at taking your money while not repairing your vehicle.

Manny Leyva, owner, is a nice guy, easy to deal with, BUT his son in law was a complete moron, he acted as if he was king of the world, owner of the shop, and he ordered the mechanics to use cheap oil from Dollar Tree on a late model Ford Powerstroke diesel truck. I was stunned, I hope that guy is no longer there.

These guys really know how to fix a car quick. Its very inexpensive also.
