My boyfriend went interested in getting a mountain bike. He was never greeted or acknowledged, instead the employees continued in talking to themselves. After that my boyfriend went and asked for help as it would be his first purchase. The employee did let him know there were low in inventory but they had a few at the store. He did let my boyfriend know that they had more expensive ones but as he looked at him up and down he said “he probably couldn’t afford it”. My boyfriend was left in shock which made it uncomfortable. We then left to TREK where it was a completely opposite experience and the employees were extremely helpful. Today he has his very first trek mountain bike.

I absolutely love this shop. Flew in from Houston with a group for the Sun City Crits and needed a few things so we stopped in. The owner and his staff were very helpful and even lent us a bike to ride while they were fixing a difficult problem on one of our bikes. One of the best stocked bike shops I’ve visited during these crazy times.

They really need bilingual employees!, please do not roll your eyes if a customer does not know something, you must understand that bikes are used by common people too! And if you are going to take away literally by the hands rudely of a toddler a Kids bike when clearly Theres 3 adults supervising the kid and say that’s for REPAIR! With an angry face maybe just maybe you should put a sign on those bikes.. please do not follow a family around the store and take a glimpse of whatever action or what we do or say we are adults… We really felt uncomfortable there we’ll never shop there again

The people there are wonderful! Everyone is so pleasant and friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile for a good experience. On top of that, they really do great work on bikes. Their work is always clean and professionally done. They are able to get you back up and shredding in no time.

This shop is awesome. They are super knowledgeable about bike, upgrades, and have never tried to up sell me. I feel that Some businesses can make or break a city, as I look at businesses as an extension of the city. Crazy Cat is a positive steward of the City if El Paso. Returning customer from a business trip where I stopped by the store to rent a MTB. The owner and staff at Crazy Cat should be a model for others to follow. They are a class A shop that gives each customer the highest attention. In town for a bike race this time, and my daughter had a shifting cable that broke. Took her and the bike to the shop and immediately they took her bike to the stand for repairing and even loaned a bike for us to ride to get coffee as they repaired her bike. After an unbelievable customer service and even more unbelievable repair price, we even left with a Tarmac that hadn’t been removed from the box. That’s what happens with great service. See you all again during the next trip.

Wow, I love the new location. These guys were super busy with customers or working on a bike but they all said hello. I have been to them before at thier Redd Road and Desert location. So glad they moved to where they have an unobstructed parking area. I took my Elliptigo to have a back tire changed. They changed it and check the pressure in the front tire and had it ready that same day. Yay me! Anybody traveling through with an Elliptigo, should know these guys can help you out!

They are always amazing. I bought a gravel bike and all the gear to ride from them. Dude was knowledgeable and awesome. Even tho I was a noob, he treated me well. I routinely find when I get into a new hobby or whatever, going to a shop is intimidating due to condescension from experienced employees. None of that here. Been back for service and accessories. Always treated beyond reproach and w respect. I wish I could remember dudes name that sold me the bike....

These guys rock! They offer the BEST customer service! Always friendly. Always helpful. They are consistent, knowledgeable, and prompt. I drive all the way here from East El Paso because the service is worth it. I am looking forward to the store on this side reopening but until then I’ll make the trek!

I dont usually do reviews. But coming from a place where theres many bike shops to El Paso only having a few. This is definitely the best place in town. Not like trek who will try to over charge me or keep my bike for 2 months to change a tire. Seriously if you have to pick. Pick this place. Duncans help was some of the nicest Ive had and most welcoming in el paso.

I have a 30 year old bike, that Ive had since I was 10, with the curled handle bars and all. This bike is nothing special, except to me. The folks at Crazy Cat gave her all new tires, tubes, wires, chain, ect, and took Excellent care of my baby, and fast too! She rides like new, and I couldnt be more pleased with their service!!!

Call ahead and asked if they stock frame tape and I was told to come on by. When I arrived, they don’t stock it and the 3 employees in the store don’t know who answers their phone. I should have noticed the incompetence from my first visit earlier this week. Sad excuse for customer service and a bicycle shop. I hope this city has better options than these clowns…

Had to ask to be assisted and when we were the guy seemed to be bothered by the questions we were asking. When I asked if we could speak to the manager he said he was the manager and displayed attitude. Left this store and went to Trek where they were very responsive and answered all are questions. We are very happy with our 2 new Treks and the service this store provides.

Needed my bike fixed when I walked in to Crazy Cat Cyclery. Clerk quickly checked my problem and went straight to getting it fixed! Took about 20 minutes and I was out with my fixed bike! Great service and quick.

Stopped by to see if these guys could help address a very mysterious problem with my gravel bike. Everyone was friendly and I could tell they really wanted to help me figure out what was wrong. Jury is still out on the mysterious problem, but even though I live 3 hours away this will be my go-to shop for tune ups, accessories, and anything really. Cannot recommend them enough.

These guys went above and beyond, showing me in great detail exactly what I needed to do to change my tire the next time on my own instead of needing to bring it in. Pricing seemed very fair as well.

Awesome experience! I went in today and Pablo was great. He fixed my two flat tires and went above and beyond to tighten the handle bars and fix the brakes. I had put the bike together from the box and didnt do a great job. I didnt go in for that but he took it upon himself to adjust it without knowing or me telling him. Afterwards we had trouble putting it in the car and they came out and helped again. He taught my boys and I how to take of the tires, properly load it into the car, and how to release the brakes. A quick lesson from them and now they have a customer for life.

We visited Crazy Cat Cyclery today. Very disappointed, we walked in and were never greeted by anyone or asked if we needed assistance. We were there for about 10 minutes and never acknowledged at all. Will never give them our business . You lost out on two customers that were ready to make a purchase of two bikes. So disappointed!! Will definitely spread the word. My brother- in- law and sister are cyclists .

I am a repeat customer for around 3 years. Todayn drop off my road bike after a crash. David was very professional and seems very knowledgeable too. He offered me the Safety Check package to ensure my bike is fit to ride again; will attempt to fix my rear derailleur hanger and replace my tore up bar tape with off shelve one, amongst other adjustments and checks. Gave me a 3-4 day time frame. Estimate was $87. So far very happy with Crazy Cat. Thanks David!

My bike sat in storage for a while so I took it in to get it ready to ride. They helped me with a full service to get it going. When I got home the tire was having issues. Got a hold of Jeff the manager and he was able to help me get it fixed right away. I gave 5 stars because Jeff went out of his way to fix a problem that might not have been his companies fault. Pretty disappointed with the service I received here, or rather, the service I didn’t receive. I went in looking for, and ready to buy I a full suspension mountain bike in the $1800-$2500 price range and was basically laughed out of the store. I understand them not having inventory right now, it’s a big problem in the cycling industry nationwide as a result of Covid19. But the guy that “helped” me asked no follow-up questions, couldn’t be bothered to look and see if maybe there was something in the warehouses they order from or any other way he could help and even made a phone call in the middle of me trying to talk to him. He basically treated me like a vagrant that came off the street. I ended up ordering a new Specialized Stumpjumper and I guess I’ll have to find a decent place other that here to get it serviced. I had high hopes for this place because I have some friends that shop here, but I won’t be back. Honestly, order online, bike shop guys suck.

Terrible service, I left my bikes a week ago when they indicated that it only took 4 days, I came and they are still not ready I understand that suddenly there is too much work but one call is enough to maintain customer service and the excellent service as if their prices They were fair they charge what they know I understand but that at least warrants excellent customer service

Very unhappy I was recommended by a few people to go to this shop i am from out if town I brought it there for a maintenance job they put parts on without asking for a ok from me then theres certain things that needed to be done which they never took care of I got the bike back with my brake pads not replaced almost down to nothing nevet told me I need pads they never fixed that never touch a quite few different things but put on the parts that really didnt need to be on without letting me know my handle bars was not straight just small things that should of been fixes

Excellent customer service and attention to detail, at an affordable price. I took my bike to get it adjusted after attempting to put it back together on my own after getting it shipped. They told me it would be a 24 hr turn- around time to get the bike back, but they had it ready in just a few hours. Will definitely go back for all my bike needs.

Theyre not in proper financial terms with Giant. Went to Ride on Sports in Cruces.. got very good and better deal.

Went there to get tubeless tires installed on my MTB. There was a bad job done with duck tape when I took it off. Took it here to get it replaced and said it was a minimum of 5 days for 1 tire because “it takes allot to take of the residue and old tape”. I did it in 30 mins and took it to another shop to install.

I recently purchased a top of the line Cannondale eBike from an authorized dealership while on an overseas trip. The dealer said any Cannondale dealer will be able to honor warranty and service my bike as their warranty is worldwide.When I got it home to El Paso, I noticed the Bosch charger was rated for the European 220V rather than the US 110v. Thats when I researched and found Crazy Cat Cyclery in Kern. I spoke to Geoff, who was very nice and polite. I informed him of my problem and he said he would research and get back to me.The next day he emailed me and said he could get me a new US charger for $145 and said they only assemble for free bikes they sell and offered to tune up my bike for $65. I have purchased many bicycles over the years and this is something that authorized dealers do for free even if bought from another authorized dealer.I told Geoff this is not good customer service and he said I was free to call the dealer in Europe to handle my claim. Incidentally, how does that help assembly!?I believe Geoff and Crazy Cat are the face of Cannondale, yet I have to call the European dealership, plead my case, and still pay assembly fees.I just got off the phone with Trek El Paso and Gilberto the owner said they would swap out the charger for free. Also, as a courtesy, they said they would give the bike a once-over to make sure everything is working. Once again, for free.As someone who has the means to easily purchase an $8000 bike, I strongly value customer service. Quite frankly, it wasn’t really about the $145 for the charger, or the $65 for the tune up that disappointed me with Crazy Cat Cycles. It was about the inflexibility and disregard for my inconvenience.Trek El Paso has demonstrated they deserve my and my familys future business. The next bike I will purchase (a carbon road bike) will definitely be from them. I will also recommend all my friends to Trek El Paso.Crazy Cat, your loss is Treks gain. Heres to awesome customer service and relationship building!I would have given 1 out of 5 stars, but Geoff was nice.
